#nihil playing with the kids after mass is literally giving sister the craziest baby fever ever

Listen, I'm yo-yoing back and forth on this one, and I need help. I think you get Papa Nihil best out of anyone I follow.

Papa Nihil as a hypothetical grandfather.

Either he just ignores them like he did his other kids, to the point that they don't fully realize they're related to him.

OR

The kids think he's the greatest because he keeps going behind their parents' backs to get them toys and candy.

Which one us it please help me.

look he may have been a deadbeat but nihil has always been good with kids- he literally has the same brain capacity as them so it works out great. he would loooove picking up and spinning around the children of parents that come up to talk to him after mass until they’re throwing up on the front of his chasuble. he’s literally holding babies because his followers keep passing them off to him.

anyways back to grandpa nihil. yes he absolutely would be their favorite guy ever because he teaches them stupid handshakes and slips them $20 and candy and purposefully going against their parents wishes because he doesn’t respect his children’s opinions at all. also there’s that awesome frame in chapter 1 i believe? where he has the stupid ricola or some sort of hard candy slipping out of the back of his mitre (@cityofmeliora has a post about it i think. i think.) so i think he would looooove to hide treats and small toys in his mitre so he can take it off and surprise the grandkids. anytime the kids are in trouble or grounded, nihil will stop by and drop off a toy for them because he thinks it’s stupid that his grandbabies are ever in trouble and doesn’t want them to be upset.

and i mean they love him when they’re little but eventually it is hard for the kids to look at him when they’re finally aware of the way he’s treated his own children. but that’s not awesome so i won’t think about it because i simply dgaf but it feels important to mention to you.
