PROJECT SEKAI ANTHOLOGY (DNA) VOL 2 CHAPTER 15

This mark the end of volume 2 ! Congratz to me and everyone who read it until now but we still got next volume (lol). The book just release around late May so yups it's still fresh from oven and don't worry, it's my WIP for now (lol)

From this I gonna talk differently so you can skip it (lol) :

Anyone love seeing mobage top profits ? It's pretty interesting you know, eventhough we don't really know the numbers are real or not. Before Wuwa released, top two always taken by hoyo games with profits almost 2 times than rank 3. BUT after Wuwa release, Wuwa always took the rank 1 weekly profits ! Well, not suprising but the suprise fact is the numbers.

After Wuwa release, there's significant profits decrease on Genshin and HSR especially in dead weeks (new banner already run for more than weeks and non favorable rerun banner) while on Clorinde banner, it's basically on par with Wuwa new banner Yinlin which means Wuwa really loveable by players.

Why I tell this ? These chart can affect how hoyo handle their character and stories onward, in fact Genshin suddenly tackle many problem right before we entered version 4.7, around the weeks or two Wuwa open their server (which sounds so funny to me lol).

As for other (small) problem, last week FGO just bested HSR profits since HSR enter dead week while JP FGO release their most wanted rerun banner, Draco. Why I said small problem, it's because FGO is in their ninth year so these sudden break are rarely happens. But then again anything could happen depends on their take with Firefly and TB 2.3 (tbh I don't want things like HCQ sudden u-turn happens again lol)

This chapter focused on senior year of Miyamasuzaka girls with Nigo bonding and WxS cameo as addition. I pretty like this mixed member chapter, it had more colorful stories~

On piapro, artists can choose to allow downloads for use in non-commercial works, so producers can use those images in videos. This was especially common in the early years of Vocaloid.

I wanted to see who drew what, but...

...as it turns out, this list isn't in order of appearance, and there are more images (around 33) than artists listed (17).

So instead of studying for my anatomy quiz at 1 am, I hunted down all of the original artists and image URLs! After a long journey through the Hatsune Miku atwiki, VocaDB, Wayback Machine, and piapro, I found every drawing except for 4.

Special mention to shari, whose “Smiles and Miku” series didn’t end until 2009, well after this song was uploaded!

It’s also interesting to track the path of some of these images. Inago is the illustrator of the drawing for Can’t I Even Dream?, for instance (I always thought that image was commissioned specifically for the song; it wasn’t). Or Kouan’s rainbow drawing, which was inspired by a song uploaded to piapro, and then that song’s producer used the fanart as part of a video for Niconico! Or even Kobanzame’s drawing, which I saw in at least 2 other songs purely by chance after seeing it in this song (NO MORE CHAIN by Buriru and To the Sky by MUSIKADeLIK).

As for the ones who deleted their images: Minoru Seto is now a VTuber, and I think sznk_ is active on Twitter as sznk_art and Wakuraba is active as wkrb_r. I could be wrong, though.

To be fair I don't follow with many LeoNeed accounts on Twitter or here but I wish L/N fans were as crazy as WxS fans are with their card AUs cause I think LeoNeed have some of the prettiest cards after MMJ and Nigo & most AU potential after WxS (and no those things aren't the same)

• That Ash Green Shiho Lim set where they could be a Metal band, or a rebel group, or both.

• Hot Take: Nigo LeoNeed AU could be TeraTera Set and the School sekai is underwater/flooded and this time they choose to get together online only but don't talk at school or irl in fear of *gestures main story* AKA we want to be together but the fear of rejection keeps us apart.

• Corrupt Orchestra (?) Corrupt Music Business (?) Elite Band (?) From the Flyaway Set. Idk they look rich and smug in that one. The Girl boss AU I guess. (HC is in the same universe as WxS Potato bc Matching Clothes Tenmas so true they are both evil (:< )

This are all I can think of off the top of my head.

Btw AU v/s Just Pretty is like the We Are Shizuku set v/s Drop Shizuku Set. Both are pretty, but the Drop Shizuku Set is more just them in a photo shoot while the We are Set they are small little humans living in a pond. It's also We I can't think of an AU for the NEO LeoNeed set (not the anniversary song, the LeoNeed gacha I don't remember what the song it was but it was Ichikana learning to tune Miku cameo)

I wish people were more crazy about the characters they love so I could feel a little crazy about them too instead of just thinking they are alright. Bc, I confess, I had to get sold on Tsukasa bc I hated him at first. When I started I went for Rui and Mizuki bc they looked like Freaks, but ended up just being Sad Wet Cats. I don't think anyone can outsell Tsukasa for me now bc every other OC in pjsk is more like a normal person, but I want the bait y'know?

PROJECT SEKAI ANTHOLOGY (DNA) VOL 3 CHAPTER 5

We're halfway done everyone ! This chapter include in my top 3 best story for this book, but yeah I always had soft side for nigo stories

I gonna talk different things here so you can skip it (lol) :

Anyone finish reading Penacony ? Wow tbh I didn't expect it finish in good note since I really skeptic with hsr storywriter after Luofu TB quest (lol). But funny enough since Luofu, there's at least one 4* become core of stories and dying in TB quest... should we suspect new 4* characters from now on (lol)

This chapter focused on Nigo especially their Virtual Singers. I really love these simple but deep nigo stories and of course Kaito nigo is the best tsundere boy ever ! (lol)

Nigo "Reeling in the Lights" Event Story Summary

This event story happened before Mizuki centric event story I posted

Summary (twitter) : Despite having moved to Kanade's house, Mafuyu is still unable to make any progress herself. Then one day, Mafuyu's father asked her if she could tell him about what happened with her mother on "that day". Mafuyu tried to tell him what happened, but for some reason, she just couldn't bring herself to say anything to him...

"That day" here pointing to Mafuyu nigo centric story when Mafuyu just runaway from home here. So yeah that event story is a must to read for this event story.

Summary (Mine) : Mafuyu's dad want to change their family situation so he support Mafuyu by coming to Kanade house weekly then brought her computer and search for the real problem by hear "that day" story from both side (Mafuyu and Mafuyu mom). But as we know by now, Mafuyu can't say anything as she feared her father would rejected her like her mother while mom always feels the right one.

Miku, Rin and Mizuki senses her fears so Mizuki, knows her feels of getting reject want to help her. Funny enough, after Mizuki say some encouraging words moreless like "you still have us", in the end they think of their unsolve problem

Remembering Mizuki encourage word and Rin reminder of her father soft side, Mafuyu finally have a courage to talk "that day" accident and her not wanting to become a doctor to her father. Good enough her father understand her and will talk directly to mother.

After talking to her father, Mafuyu send her thanks to Mizuki then it gave them a decision to opened up to everyone on nigo too (yups it's Mizuki nigo event story I posted before)

Her past feels like your usual Asian parent. A full 24 hours working father while every household and child needs all into a mother. Yeah her father don't appear much in her life (work).

Nigo "あの日、奏でた音色を" Event Summary

Character : Nigo + Miku, Rin, Kaito + Honami + Mafuyu's dad, Kanade parents, Kanade grandmother

Summary (Twitter) :

Summary (Mine) : Story started from Mafuyu slowy more honest with her feelings to her dad which is a good progress coming from Mafuyu problems.

But as this time is Kanade centric story, the story spin around Kanade past and her future talk. Kanade wonders about her future after talking with her grandmother, as she thinking about it at sekai, Rin asked her reasons for songwriting until now. Kanade says she made song because of her parents looks so happy when she made one for them.

But as now, Kanade do songwriting out of guilt of her father but Ena and Kaito says to think her own happiness and don't kill her emotion. That talk opened Kanade minds and now she wrote a more happier song but of course it won't change the situations that her father still bedridden conditions...

Important Card Time and Place :

This scene happens at Kanade house when Mafuyu dad came weekly and asked Mafuyu her well-being then give cheesecake to her since he thought she love it. It turn out to be wrong since Mafuyu says she can't even taste. But Mafuyu dad keep trying and calm her down

This scene came from Kanade past when she made her first song for her father's birthday. Her parents feels happy and proud of her

This (hot Kaito lol) scene happens after Kanade retelling her past to Rin (Kaito just eavesdrop), he saw Kanade painful face when she remember her father still bedridden because of her. Kaito finally understand the reasons Kanade keep do songwriting too earnestly and he think if things keep going, it will killed her mind someday.

Later, he suddenly appear at Kanade room, said it straightforwardly to Kanade and suddenly leave (lol) he's really savage and funny

Rarity : I think it's pretty wrong to give Mafuyu 4* since she just appear at first parts but the lineup feels right. Switch Mafuyu and Rin rarity and it's should be good (lol)

for me most Nigo arts feels short to me, well can't blame them since its nigo theme (don't know like calm soothing theme lol) so yeah easy skip. I kinda like Kaito here but since it isn't limited card I can wait for this series include in ticket later~

Mafuyu chapters : Stories start with situations after Mafuyu ran away from home. She live with Kanade, while sometimes her father came to check on her.

But as things calm down, Mafuyu still restless so she came to Sekai for copping and then Nigo Sekai began to change a bit.

Mizuki chapters : Mizuki keep lamenting their decision of telling Mafuyu to run away from her problem. So to change of pace they came to Sekai and heard the new place from Meiko.

As they came to that place, they meets Miku and Rin and found an animal style picture book telling about Mafuyu stories so far. In there, Mizuki finally know how big the help they give to Mafuyu.

PS : In picture book it retell Mafuyu stories with Mafuyu families as bunnies, Kanade as dog, Ena as hedgehog, while Mizuki as cat. Dog help bunny with her songs, hedgehog with her arts while cat with her words.

Ena chapters : As Ena keep learning arts, Futaba (Ena art classmate) asked her about future decisions to keep doing arts or not. Ena can't answer it since she thought she was running away from arts until now.

While Len and Rin watch her troubling, Len asked Ena to sketch them at Sekai new place. While drawing, she feels like seeing her Mafuyu sketch at lake and renew her decision to continuing arts for making Mafuyu smile.

Kanade chapters : Same as Ena Mizuki, Kanade too wondering how to save Mafuyu since her songs only make Mafuyu relax but can't save her. As she wondering at Sekai, Kanade meets child Mafuyu searching for her doll. Meet child Mafuyu which keep thinking in passive ways, Kanade give her some encouragement. After that, she woke up in her room and discussing her dreams with Mafuyu which dream a same thing.

Epilogue : Those four decided to visit Sekai to show the new place to Kanade since she was thought it's only a dream. Last time visit, Ena and Mizuki founds sketch and picture book so they decided for Mafuyu to search into lake again. She founds her sketch, Kanade scoresheet and an apple. Apple reminds her time when she sick

So to put in simple, this world link stories morelike Mizuki Ena Kanade renew their future decision from now on to help Mafuyu. While on Mafuyu side, she think she still need her mother eventhough she is so overbearing

That man is Mafuyu father, the only dense person at Asahina house (lol) which only know something after his only girl run away from home. He came to check on Mafuyu at Kanade house and at some point try to convince Mafuyu to comeback home.

This scene is the first time Honami meet the real Mafuyu. Honami somewhat shocked but recover quick and do things like always

This place is a new place at empty Sekai, which include in our usual convo place later. A locked door and one small sprout appear after Mafuyu change of heart with her mother

Card Time and Place :

This scene happens at Sekai, Meiko give information about Sekai new place to Mizuki so they want to go there with Meiko but she refused. So they fake crying and asked her to come along with them.

Mizuki : Eeeh~ To think Meiko is fine for me getting lost ! Meiko must hate me that much~

This scene happens after Ena finished her arts class, she with Futaba hanging out at cafe and talked about their future

This scene happens while Kanade wandering arounds with child Mafuyu searching for her doll. Child Mafuyu asked her to give up since they can't find the doll so Kanade gave her encouragement words to not give up anything.

This scene happened at epilogue, when the groups decided to visit Sekai again to check the new place while searching for items Mizuki Ena found there. After found them, Mafuyu keep searching at lake then found an apple, one of Mafuyu precious memories with her mother which make her decided that she still need her.

Song (Twilight Light) : I kinda like the melodies and Toa's Miku tuning, it's addicting. I would love to heard full Miku version later. For lyrics, it's picturing the whole nigo situations so yeah I love it~

To my suprise, this time their arts looks good (lol) but I really don't like the fact it's limited just to added special scene for their newest song. In the end I use 50 pull and get Ena one, bit miss the mark since I want Kanade or Mizuki but still happy~

Nigo Event "Knowing the Unseen" Event Summary

Character Feature : Nigo members + Miku Len Rin Nigo + Yukihira + Ena's father

Event Summary (Twitter) : Lately, Ena's mind has been filled with one thing: whether she should apply to an art school or not. However, the more she thinks about it, the more impatient she gets, and this has been reflected clearly in her own artwork. Ena later confides her problem to her art teacher, Yukihira. Noticing how she hasn't been doing well lately, he then proposes an "extracurricular lesson" to her...

Event Story (Mine) : Prologue same as above, Ena still wondering to continuing art or not. Yukihira asked Ena to attend her father's exhibition for her to learn. She looks around the paint and founds that most paint feels so dark except one. Yukihira tells her father past that he once lost his way just like current Ena but can't quit after looking at baby Ena which produce one not so dark painting.

After knowing that, she talks with her father, finally know her father struggle on arts and the reasons he keeps Ena away from painting. After hearing her father reasoning, she finally decided to continue being a painter as she can't imagine her life without paint

I recomended to read this story, it's sad and heartwarming and makes you know some ways to appreciate arts. It makes me remember attended one of VanGogh exhibition and keep looking at darker paint. Maybe he too had same feelings, feels confuse and lost his ways to do paint but still doing it since he only had that to life.

Card Time and Place :

This scene happened after Ena receive an extracurricular lesson from Yukihira, to attend her father's solo exhibition as helper. As Len want to know what's solo exhibition, Ena showed some photo around it.

Scene happens after she remembering all Yukihira talk past and her past. She reminded by how harsh to walk the path of profesional painter as her father was.

Rarity : This is Ena focused event story while Len and Rin helped her, too bad no Rin card and as always Mafuyu always get 4* in nigo centric event even without doing anything (lol)

I pretty like Ena arts here, too bad I uninstall the game around this event happened since I want to try Wuwa but now I just reinstall it. Ena art feels like even looks confused, there's hope in darker place.

Mixed Event "リラックスティータイム" Summary

Character : Kanade Mafuyu + Ichika + Minori Airi

Additional : Ena Mizuki + Saki Honami Shiho + Nene + Haruka + Miku Luka nigo

Summary (Twitter) :

Summary (Mine) : First chapter same as above, with additional info Minori Airi heard Kanade Ichika convo so they want to help them searching for return gifts.

While searching, Kanade conclude that she and Ichika should do more research at each problem of receiver then exchange info. The funny part is Kanade asked each of them secretly (or not lol).

As Kanade ask them (plus Miku Luka nigo), she and Ichika thinks to give them a tea set for make the receiver relax with a good tea (side effect too much hang out with Honami I guess lol) and adding Airi Minori idea it become a tea gathering.

Scene happened in first chapter, when Minori Airi heard Kanade Ichika convo. Minori Airi help them searching for return gift with increasing the choices and run around every shop.

Scene happened at tea gathering place, she served tea for everyone. The way she doing is so nerve wrecking to the point everyone become nervous just by looking at her (lol)

Scene happened at tea gathering place, despite pretty relucant to come, in the end Mafuyu enjoy the peace there.

Rarity : Rarity mostly feels right, except then again Mafuyu become 4* without too much involvement... I think Airi play a bigger parts so yeah too bad plus I want to see Miku or Luka nigo genderbender (lol)

This genderbender theme like which I can't recognize most of them at glance (lol) really good arts so I already try 5x3000 and only getting me another 4* Akito, it scare me every possible Akito card keeps coming home, I have 6 different 4* Akito so far...

I seriously can't recognize all of them like "is that Haruka Touya and Himmel ? XD" and I put Minori one since I pretty like the arts despite its just a 3*. I kinda read some comment like "the theme pretty much like fantasy otome world, princess Minori try to save the world with one of three prince, defeat the demon lord and live happily ever after" (lol)

Nigo 仮面の私にさよならを Event Summary

This event need any knowledge of at least three previous Nigo centric event

PS : I kinda like this event title “goodbye to persona me” since it shows Mafuyu finally resist after 2 years (game timeline) wearing a good girl persona

Character : All Nigo Characters + Mafuyu’s mom

Event Summary (Twitter) : 

Event Summary (Mine) : Continuing last nigo event, Mafuyu keep getting pressure by her mother make her test result dropped. As for that, her mother pressure Mafuyu harder by asking her smartphone and for the first time Mafuyu resisted but her phone fall to fish tank. So after her phone gone, nigo members can’t makes any contact to her at all.

After some points, Miku finally connected to her broken phone and give some advice to her so she brave herself to talk face to face with her mother. Getting help from Kaito & Miku to keeps Mafuyu think straight, Mafuyu finally release her inner feelings to her mother but as Mafuyu can’t convinced her mother, she running away from home and come to Kanade’s house.

So to put it simple, this event is about Mafuyu finally break free from her mother but not in good note since her mother won't convince so she run away to Kanade house. Even after event chibi convo, it stated that Mafuyu still live in Kanade's house so I guess there will be an event centric on Kanade Mafuyu and Honami later

Card Time and Place : 

This card happened around first part of story, Mizuki suprised seeing Mafuyu on group chat after she say can’t come to nigo for a while. It’s around the time Mafuyu depressed after knowing her result dropped

This card happened around the time nigo searching for Mafuyu since they can’t contact her at all after her phone broke

This card happened around the time Mafuyu convicing her mother to understand her. But as her mother is typical pushy Asian mother, of course she won’t convince or even try to understand at all.  

Mafuyu to her mother

Mafuyu : the truth it’s painful, mom’s high expectations really hard for me but doing circle with Kanade and everyone make me feels better. So I won’t quit circle...!

This card happened after Mafuyu talked to her mother scene, Mafuyu try to talked to her mother but she won’t convinced at all so Mafuyu don’t know what to do then running away to Kanade’s house. 

Rarity : Since it’s Mafuyu centric event and nigo members giving a support, it's still good but Kaito Miku doing so many things here and don’t even get a card (lol). I love how balance nigo virtual singers here, like Miku Luka give a gentle support while Kaito give a harsh truth on Mafuyu

Aside the costume looks so ordinary, I kinda like this event theme and arts. Finally Mafuyu break her persona mask while Kanade Ena looks like protecting a heart as maybe that heart is Mafuyu's.

Put aside the story and arts, this is easy skip gacha to me~
