Though, he did appreciate the gesture none the less. He was still getting use to anyone beside the critters and the Chao celebrating his birthday — heck, it wasn't till quite a couple years back he even had a day to celebrate it on. Sure, he kept track how old he was getting but celebrating? That was a more recent thing for sure.

Even still, he adored the necklace. It honestly suited him and it was clear his friend had wanted it to be special, which meant the world to him. He'd cherish it and keep it safe. Giving a warm smile as he started putting the gift on — careful as he hung it around his neck.

There was genuine confusion on the guardian's face at the statement. Sure, he tried to keep up with the holidays — mostly the major ones that were celebrated. He knew of Halloween, Christmas, and New Years primarily since those were bigger celebrations and brought his friends together.

However, he didn't keep up with the smaller ones...especially Valentine's Day. Having no clue what that even was. Had Amy mentioned it once? He couldn't really recall.
