Cant say I like starscream being the villain I really was hoping that the main conflict of season two would be the mia autobots and newly released cons struggling to assimilate with humans and the non mia autobots, like there’s a real big disconnect between the two groups, and the Terrans are just in the middle of it, especially if the mia autobots sympathize with the decepticons and have an aversion to the active autobots, I really thought we would finally have a tf piece of media that would finally stop the “starscream is always destined for being evil” especially with how he has a connection with hashtag and genuinely cares for her, but no starscream is a probably gonna be a mid villain, the ONLY role where it would be interesting if star was the villain is if his schemes are against the autobots and especially megatron how how heavily persecuted the cons are and that they had to fight to barely survive especially if they didn’t want to be in jail, I just hope they do something interesting, like humans having civil unrest because cons are being “accepted” in to society and them protesting it, I would be even better if this persecution and fear mongering affected the autobots and Terrans. Also it literally make no sense for them to be attacking the maltos THEY LITERALLY JUST HELPED THEM FIGHT MANDROID, maybe starscream is having a manic episode or megatron did something to really piss him off

But if the evildoings of the cons is just them doing childish bs then I’ll gladly watch that

Also nightshade is not mentioned once all the rest of the malto kids are but not them

which if their by the wayside that will be really disappointing because imo they are like the most interesting Terran and the one who has the most opportunity for character growth, especially with how open minded they are, this either mean they become a minor character (which would just be bad writing and a wasted opportunity) or the become a decepticon, AND THEY TOTALLY SHOULD IT WOULD BE SO INTERESTING IF THEY WERE ISOLATED EVEN MORE FROM THEIR FAMILY BECAUSE THEY ARE A DECEPTCON, please con nightshade 🙏🙏🙏

Also also this seems like a very hashtag heavy season which I am very excited about especially because she’s has cool ass powers and she’s my second fav (nightshade will always be my number one ☝️☝️☝️🔥🔥🦅🦅) and I think why it’s hashtag centric season is because starscream is the main villain, and she’s one of like 5? People he likes and seeing someone she’s close too be all evil and shit will probably fuck her up even more.

So in conclusion all I wish for is for lesbian and decepticon nightshades, windblade(PLEASE), and for starscreams motivations to be interesting

I can’t say I liked it, at all, I do really like aftermath and spitfire (she needs to be at least slightly different from twitch) I also liked some of the jokes, it really is disappointing that Robby and Mo are are the main focus when they ain’t really all that interesting, it feels really desperate to make you like Robby and Mo and think that they’re cool, it also felt like the autobots (and their parents) were kinda shoving the Terrans into being super soldiers instead of letting them be kids, nightshade and several other characters are given like 2 minutes of screen time which is really disappointing all of the siblings but nightshade, was given at lest a episode focusing on them except for nightshade, and the world feels really real empty like where are the rest of the mechs, especially when only one new legacy character was introduced and it was cosmos and HE LITERALLY DID NOTHING his only purpose was to be a weird Al cameo and nothing else, Starscream felt soooo flat in season two and I’m fine with he being evil I actually was excited I really wanted to see Megatron getting jumped by both autobots and decepticons, but no he was just generically evil, the said “letting us free from our oppressors” but then he committed child murder and didn’t give one fuck about his deception’s after he got power, he was sooooo boring and generic, at this rate I don’t think we will ever see a Starscream redemption or him just being happy in general

I think the con’s could and should be evil but not this flavor of evil like team skull from Pokémon type evil like their main goal is just to kill megatron and cause problems for the autobots, and I think it would be super interesting if a good amount of autobots joined them, and at lest make one of the Terrans a con sympathizer (best option is nightshade imo) and have them get ostracized from their family and even have said Terran decide to leave their family because they are being ostracized, and join up with the cons 🗣️🗣️ bonus points if Alex and Dottie are the most disapproving, I feel like the maltos should at least some internal conflict but them always being 100% cool with most things makes them feel boring, and obviously they can still love each other but something more interesting needs to be going with the maltos then self doubt and starscream, ik i already said this but omg Robby and Mo need to be secondary characters and not the super main focus, and get rid of those goofy power rangers suits.

The Terrans also had sooo much Plot armor it’s insane like no way can hashtags can beat SHOCKWAVE it’s ridiculous it’s blasphemy, it’s outrageous,

Over all it was really stupendously disappointing I was so damn excited I didn’t sleep, and all for nothing 😔😔😔

I don’t understand why people in the earthspark fandom are getting their panties in a twist that some people don’t like starscream being the villain, what happened to just ignoring or blockin people if ya disagree, it’s really not a big deal like people are saying it is

Like I get disagreein but like y’all are doing way too much it is not that serious

Also the “erm starscream is a villain so why are you surprised” is a bunch of hippie dippie baloney people probably just want starscream to have a new character role instead of being shafted into the same one for 40 years, especially because transformers lacks variety and changing up the story line

I’ve noticed that no one is talking about the fact that the cybertronian characters in earth spark are immigrants and refugees (and the Terrans being firt gen immigrants poc) and how that fits into the writing of season 2, because that was one of my favorite parts of es, especially how the Terrans struggle with their sense of belonging and identity and their discontent from their culture and people, it felt so real, and it really made me connect with the Terrans, it seems like this part of the narrative is forgotten by most people like I never see anyone talking about it, and that sucks because it’s a big part of es and the general world building for it, I hope we see more of this in season two both the negative and positive aspects of how it affects the transformers.

But I’m not really surprised like a good chunk of the fandom is white and this part of the transformers media is often left on the way side, especially how the autobots are literally cops, they better show in season two how the autobots also are terrible and there’s no “good side” of this war

I personally don’t see nightshade being into warrior cats, they would definitely love xeno fiction but not wc, warrior cats is really poorly written and obviously for elementary to middle schoolers it doesn’t bring anything unique to the table and it’s storytelling is very repetitive, most if not all of the plots are about the main characters struggling with cat Christianity, it doesn’t explore its world very much and makes out every other group of cats then the clans as weird or wrong.

I think they would be into guardians of gahoole (and it’s spin off) rather than wc just because gog does more with its characters and world and also it’s pretty dark but unlike wc it doesn’t feel like just being dark for shock value it actually feels like it has a reason to be there.

Idk i just feel like they would be into xeno fiction that has more darker subject matter; such as water ship down plague dogs etc.

(This isn’t me saying the you shouldn’t or can’t hc them liking warriors or the wc is bad, it’s just my thoughts on the matter)
