Hen party | New princess
On Saturday afternoon, I drove into London for a good friends hen party/day, she is also Phoebes godmother. The traffic was a nightmare so I ended up being half an hour late. I arrived at a building that did not look like Zorb football could be inside so I was quite confused and convince I was in the wrong place. I was ‘buzzed in’ and I asked the man if their was a hen do going on there and he said “a hindo?” so I corrected him and he said he didn't know what a hen do was. So I had to break it down a bit more and then he understood what I was talking about. I went into a sports hall and saw all the girls in the hen party running around in zorb balls. It looked like so much fun. Little did I know how strenuous it actually is on you. Getting in it is a challenge in itself!! Once I was in it, my hands where stuck up by my chest holding onto some handles. I could not move them at all and honestly that did make me panic a little but once I got going and forgot about it, I was fine. It was absolutely hilarious watching people get knocked down and go all over the place. When that was done, everyone went back to someones house to shower and get ready for the evening activities which were bowling and dinner at a cool vintage retro bar/ bowling lanes in Bayswater. The food was delicious. I had a quesadilla for starters and then burger and chips for mains. It was wayyy too much food for me! Once we had finished there, the rest of the girls were heading over to a bar but I didn't because I needed to get home to feed Phoebe as I was already feeling full by the time I got in the car. Getting home was stressful. That day was the first time I had ever driven by myself around London. To me, the roads were confusing and not very well sign posted so being in the dark and having wet roads, made it ten times worse! A journey that should of taken me 50 minutes, took me 2 hours!! It was safe to say that I was exhausted.
Just a quick little note to say I’m so excited for the newborn princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana ! It's so cool that they had a little girl. Clearly we are both awesome as we share the same middle name ‘Elizabeth’ haha!
