Hi! I love your blog, so so much. I was wondering what your favourite Latin words and phrases are?

My favourites are cornicula (’little crow’), rosarium (’rose garden’), noctulica (’shining by night’), ignispicium (’divination by fire’), nemoricultrix (’forest-haunting’), undicula (’dwelling in the waves’), noctifer (’night-bringer’), nubivagus (’wandering among clouds’), animule (’my dear’), flammigena (’fire-born’)...

And as for phrases, I really like: abyssus abyssum invocat (’deep calls unto deep’), amor fati (’love of one’s fate’), sub rosa (’under the rose / secretive’), vera sumnio (’I dream true things’), ex luna scientia (’from the moon, knowledge’), cor cordium (’heart of hearts’), and ad undas (’to the waves / to hell’). I also have three favourite sentences: astra inclinant sed non obligant (’the stars incline us but do not bind us’), per noctem in nihilo vehil (’to vanish by night into nothing’), and the description of this blog which is also a palindrome: in girum imus nocte et consumimur igni (’we enter the circle by night and are consumed by fire’)
