✨SOWING SEEDS OF GREATNESS. 💎Our teenagers today will be the leaders of tomorrow and the seeds we sow in them today will determine the type of fruits they will bear in the future. Today, I was proud to be one of the facilitators that worked with Teajay Chunu @unusualteajay in executing his great vision Teen Leader Shift Conference tagged My Nation, My Responsibility in the city of Abuja. @mytofnation 🎤I was in charge of helping the teenagers from various schools in the state brainstorm on the issues of SDG 9 - Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure. 💜I was so proud of the young delegates as they confidently shared their ideas with me and I am assured Nigeria has a bright future if we can only be more diligent in guiding these bright minds the right way. 📌Keep sowing seeds today because at the appropriate time, if you nurture them properly in a fertile ground, you will reap a mighty harvest. 📣The most fertile ground available is THE MIND; YOURS AND MINE. My name is Madame Merola, The B.A.N.G Creator and I ignite people to fulfill their God Ordained Legacy and Dreams (G.O.L.D) Godfidently. BLOOD AND SWEAT : PAIN OF A NIGERIAN YOUTH
They blame us for being silent but when we talk they do not even listen
If we speak the truth they’ll call it hate speech and threaten to send us to prison
The fact that they think something is wrong with the youths, shows that there is a fault in the system
As kids they called us the leaders of tomorrow
and showed us the path to follow
“Education is the way” they said
But how come thousands of graduates are living in sorrow
and the path they created turned out to be a “lazy” one to follow?
When they said “Lazy Nigerian youths”! What they meant was, helpless, cheated on, deprived of the right to be, to live, and to excel
Because it’s been 60years of independence yet we are still where we were 60 years ago fighting for freedom, our lives and that of generations to come
The Government was made for us and should be a support system to its citizens
But why do they make us feel like it is their family house and we the citizens are nothing but strangers
We are Nigerian Youths, and Nigeria is Our home, and if are not Safe at Home I’m afraid there is no place we can ever be.
Enough is Enough, #EndSars #WeWantChange #Nigerianyouth #Voiceof theNigerianyouth

Why Nigeria faces severe climate problems – Buhari
Tumblr media
President Muhammadu Buhari has given some insights into the severe climate challenges confronting the country, saying “Nigeria is a neighbour to the Sahara Desert, Lake Chad is shrinking while population is exploding.” The President stated this at a meeting with the Nigerian Youths Climate Group shortly before his departure for Abuja at the conclusion of his engagements during the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA74), in New York on Friday. The President said: “Nigeria is a neighbour to the Sahara Desert, Lake Chad is shrinking while population is exploding. “It’s a challenging situation. With less land, less rainfall, these are very unique problems for the country.” President Buhari lauded the youth for representing Nigeria at UNGA as Climate Change Champions, adding, “It is good you are participating so that you can appreciate the problems older people are having.” According to Esther Agbarakwe, one of the leaders of the youth group, “This is the first time we are seeing a President sit with us. “It gives us hope. We young people understand the problems, and are in the vanguard of advocacy. “The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Climate Change Department works with us for solutions.” She also commended the UN Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed, and the Ministry of Environment for their support to the group, stressing, “We are in it together.” On his part, Hamzat Lawal, also one of the leaders of the group, thanked President Buhari for signing the Not Too Young to Run Bill into law. “We seek solutions to problems in the Sahel region. If we provide solutions to the Sahel, the world will be at peace. “You have announced planting of 25 million tress and we youth plan to match it.” Read the full article
