i actually despise a lot of shit in the nierkengard universe but all my besties love it so ill just b quiet!!! me i am a pariah... the delusive chanteuse.

sometimes when I’m in a particularly melodramatic and vindictive mood... 

I daydream about finding the fucking Old Timey Critics who thought that Beethoven was too passionate and noisy to be real music and making them listen to the NieR soundtrack. If I’m being really mean, the Drakengard 3 soundtrack.

(why Nierkengard and not, like, Guns and Roses? well, a) everything about the NieR soundtrack would sound like an absolute shitpost to someone in the 1830s- ‘a Japanese man and an American woman wrote this music for a play-that-is-also-a-game about machines in a world where all humans are dead; the vocals are in a fictional language that blends parts of all the world’s languages together called the Black Speech; and it contains lots of sounds you just can’t find in nature’), b) I’m pretty sure the Black Song gives non-musicians hives, imagine what it’d do to someone whose ear was keenly honed for pretty, harmless melody, and c) NieR’s music is all pretty clearly descended from Romantic classical and opera music- it’s recognizably the Same Kind Of Thing, even if it’s not The Same Thing anymore.)

What are the -suggestions?

We are just an odd group of blogs that take on the role of the characters from the works of Yoko Taro and put a comedic spin on them. The -suggestion part comes in from the early days where a majority of posts made were centered around making impractical suggestion that exaggerated the characters actions, vices, and flaws seen through the games and other side materials. It started with Nie: Automata characters, then characters from NieR joined the fray, and recently characters from the Drakengard series have shown up.

While the posts have less to do with funny/quirky suggestions and are more meme-centered these days, I find it no less enjoyable participating in the odd antics the Drakengard/Nier(Automata) suggestion community offers.
