elloe tumblr folks, just wanted to show a book i just got eueue, im just so overjoyed

it's so gorgeous, smells so booky, oh god my gremlin hands are smudging the shiny covers, if ppl see me rn it's obvious that i don't look like I read books 😭 (i rarely do tbf)

i actually have read half of good omens before online, but i thought, hmm yk what i want to experience this in real time, and so i got the book :D and also i kinda want to have some sort of good omens merch hhhh

and this is probably my best purchase yet, seriously, i flip through the pages while doing spine training and there's so many paragraphs and texts that i missed, there's even font changing n other details, which i didnt see in the online ver (it was a free website hhh) so im actually quite happy with it, i think i need to do reread again (as i should, because i rewatch the show so many times too hhh)

when i bought this, it didn't actually specify which cover i would get, so i could be getting aziraphale's or crowley's which i'm fine either way, it'll be like a suprise hhhh (actually i had a dream of getting aziraphale's cover because i cannot wait for the book to arrive, it shipped out on 6th may and only arrived now, i was pissed about it hhh)

yk what makes me so mad? is that how in general books in my country are so damn expensive, seriously, look that this, in the US it costs like 10 bucks but when i have to buy it it costs me my whole lungs???? (it's actually was nearly 50 bucks including the shipping, which is accurate when u put it into the google ig, currency i mean, as a brokie however this was a strong purchase 😭) literally if u go to a bookstore, good books can get up to 500 bucks, u think i can afford that?

oh god i remember looking at hp books, i cried looking at the prices, the book looks good though
