#why would you make this post LMAO?#nicotine addictions have been running a train on the paternal side of my family for um a long time so actually there are some things harder#than wanting nicotine addiction clout is what I think you'll find my beloved#I think many interesting tumblr users -- I won't profess to be interesting but I will claim the identity of being a tumblr user -- are open#about their substance abuse problems and history in an often humorous way#which then leads some users to see those accounts and treat those experiences like one would treat a fictional subject#& I will see some go as far to treat these users who talk abt their struggles like theyre tv show characters in a similarly parasocial way#I don't want to be overly precious about jokes -- and of course although the op states that they do not struggle with nicotine addiction#that does not mean that they've never struggled with substance abuse or had people in their life who have struggle with substance abuse --#but this just. left such a bad taste in my mouth
