I know, this is a pretty rare picture, me playing a #strat , but this instrument has been modified a lot, so it‘s far away from being a classic #stratocaster . It‘s a 79‘ 25th anniversary in silver, meanwhile tarnished to some kind of green, with an EMG DG Pickup Set, #loxx security locks and a scalloped fretboard, perfectly done by #nicoschack of @schackguitars . I guess it‘s one of my most flexible guitars, able to create humless clean sounds up to high gain mid boost stuff. because of the very old age of this incredible baby, some #pots , some very strange wiring and the #plugsocket had to be changed because of heavy #oxigation . My very first professional #electricguitar , a 79‘ #fender #stratocaster #anniversary got a major upgrade today. Done by #masterluthier #nicoschack from #schackguitars , she got a #scallopedfretboard and no, it never has been inspired or will ever sound like #yngwie 😁 . It was exactly what this instrument deserved. It will be used a lot in the studio at the upcoming productions I guess.
