i'm not an expert on 2000s fashion but i think people confuse jecka's preppy style with this trashy y2k tiktok style, everyone has their own version of the character, but it seems strange to me when the characters' aesthetics are portrayed in a more tiktok-ified way than the late 2000s reality of what fashion was like... yikes, wth they were wearing??

considering that it is a highschool, there would be a dress code, in most of her outfits she only wears skinny jeans and shorts. also, when nicole and jecka use the coach's bribe money, she wears this dress and it's huhhh 😭😭😭

i think jecka would wear something like that, it was a weird time bc it was late 2000s to early 2010s

i feel like people tend to draw her in a more trashy way, i don't think she wears that many accessories like borderline emo scene, also, i've seen people draw her as a gyaru, okay?? its a cute headcanon but it was the US in 2009, jecka would know what a gyaru is?? i guess people often confuse trashy with gyaru??😿

I'm sorry, it gives me a little ick when a piece of media is realistic and the fandom tiktokifies it to the max.
