Man, I've fallen deep down the Buck x Tommy rabbit hole. This feels just like when I got into Schmico, all over again! I'm going to sail this new ship like a starving madwoman, devouring every tiny Tevan crumb I get along the way! 😍😍😍

The thing that always surprises me is how people believe the onus is always on Nico to reconcile with Levi. Even though Levi ended the relationship, he is the victim and Nico is the culprit? Well, Nico didn't give him up for the job, Levi gave him up because he was depressed after losing his patient. It's not like Nico just packed and left to join the Mariners immediately after Levi told him to go away, he was still around for a few months but neither wanted to reconcile. So, if there was nothing between them during that period, Nico leaving for a new job shouldn't be a scandal that it is made out to be. Also, I don't think this S20 storyline was cruel to Levi, because are we seriously pretending here that Levi was waiting around for Nico or missing him all this while? He wasn't, just like Jo said! Levi and Nico have both tried to move on with their respective lives, the only difference is that Nico met someone significant while Levi's relationship with that nurse didn't last — but I am sure the end of that fling or Levi being single after that until now had nothing to do with Nico. And what was Nico supposed to do all this time? Suffer and punish himself forever for not being the perfect boyfriend for Levi? Levi turned down Nico's offer to move in together in S17, but Nico was still supposed to plan future kids with him back then? Maybe if Levi had acknowledged in S19 about missing or thinking about Nico while he was gone, I'd feel sorry for him after 20x03. Nico being with Jason disappoints the Schmico stan in me too, but if Jason helped him be happy again I don't care how impractically rushed their relationship progress timeline looks like. People grow and change and their priorities can change too. I'm happy for Nico! My heart still wants Schmico endgame so bad and constantly daydream about the many ways they can find their way back together, but if that's not going to happen, I can be at peace with this canon plot because I adore Nico. He doesn't deserve the hate.

Haters really out there saying that Nico has a fragile ego...bro that man almost set his apartment on fire lighting up candles for several weeks waiting it out for Levi who had been avoiding him. If he were egoistic he'd never have been so patient. People slandering him for his reaction to Levi in the latest episode are so blindly biased that they can't even tell that he too is hurting.

Imagine being emotionally reserved due to the fear of your critical family and scared to open up about your feelings, but you finally gather the courage to do it because you love the other person and trust them to keep you 'safe' — and then they dump you so brutally for no fault of yours when all you were doing was try to be there for them. Especially at a stage when everything was great between you two as you were trying to become better and more deserving of them after acknowledging your past mistakes. It cannot be so easy to get over that kind of hurt. And instead of apologising to him profusely, Levi only tried to guilt-trip him further.

If Levi truly loves Nico then why can't he just take him for who he is instead of pointing out his shortcomings to him? You broke up with him and don't seem to think it was wrong of you to do that, and instead you think that he failed to live up to your romantic expectations, then why can't you just let him be? If you can't apologise then why brag about you're own greatness and try to make him feel like he isn't enough for you when he is already suffering?

I'm so disappointed with how all of this has turned out, hence the rant. 😒 My Schmico heart wants nothing but for them to get back together 💞 but it infuriates me that it always has to be at Nico's expense regardless of who was at fault in the situation. 😤 Levi needs to acknowledge that he screwed up this time or else this won't seem fair. I'm done with him always trying to make everything in their relationship all about him. He really needs to take a final call about whether he wants Nico in his life or not because I can't deal with this idiotic drama anymore. 😪😪😪

How does schmico kiss differently? Like, when do they do soft little kisses, and when would it be more passionate types of kisses, so basically matching kisses with scenarios. Thanks!

Okay. I’ve had this prompt for a while. I feel really bad. I LOVE the idea. But I’m asexual and I don’t do a lot of kissing so I had trouble figuring out where to start. Once I actually got started, it did come easier than I expected. So I really want to apologize for taking so long. And huge thanks to @schmicosmalec and @theprodigypenguin for helping me with this ficlet. Also, what is verb tense? I hope you enjoy!

Sometimes, the two of them will be on the couch, not cuddling or anything but still close, and Nico will look over at Levi to see him making that face. He’ll be casually biting his lower lip while his eyes roam over Nico. It always looks innocent enough, but it drives Nico crazy, prompting him to lean over, cup Levi’s face, and give him a firm kiss. Rarely does it get too heated, but they’ll make out on the couch like two lovestruck teenagers, giggling and letting their hands wander. Maybe it’s not the hottest time they spend together, but it’s fun and keeps a level of playfulness in their relationship.

Levi’s forehead is at the perfect height for Nico’s mouth. That seems like an odd statement until you consider how much Nico loved to kiss Levi’s forehead in moments of tenderness. After both have had a long day, Levi will wrap his arms around Nico’s waist and prop his head up on his chest. He’ll sigh and gaze into Nico’s beautiful eyes, feeling the tension and stress leave his body. Nico becomes so overcome with fondness for this remarkable man and drops kisses onto his forehead. While hugging Nico is Levi’s stress relief, Nico’s is to kiss his sweet boyfriend’s head and know everything will be okay.

Early mornings together when they have nowhere to be for a while are some of their favorite times. They’ll lay next to each other, faces close and hands intertwined, breathing in the scent of each other. Sometimes, Nico will lean over and peck Levi’s nose, delighting in the adorable scrunched-up face he makes. And Levi likes to give a kiss to each of Nico’s eyelids, loving the feeling of his fluttering eyelashes on his lips. Often, these wholesome, affectionate touches will lead to relaxed, loving sex. Other times it will stay innocent, the two wrapped up in each other and their love.

Drunk Levi is one of Nico’s favorite sights. He has weekly drinking nights with the B-Team and will always come home in some stage of inebriation. He stumbles through the door, trying to make as little noise as possible, but instead creating a cacophony in his movements. Usually, Nico is waiting for him, reading on the couch, or catching up on his shows. He laughs to himself when he hears Levi curse as he knocks something over or drops his apartment key. Levi ambles around, grabs some water or leftovers, before Nico wraps his arms around his middle and places small kisses to his neck. At the gentle pressure of the kisses, Levi turns in his arms and they give each other little pecks, sloppy and staccato. These kisses are fun, adding a feel of youthful joy to their relationship.

The sweet kisses are special and cherished, but sometimes, they need to release some passion. The love they share is deep and powerful, resulting in bursts of heated kisses when they have the time, sometimes even when they don’t. They grab at one another, pulling each other close, and Nico tangles his fingers in Levi’s hair while Levi anchors himself on Nico’s broad shoulders. They breathe heavily into each other’s mouths, taking the other in and relishing in the closeness. It becomes all tongues and teeth as they lose control, blindly making their way to the bed. As they have sex, they always find their way back to each other’s mouths, loving the feeling of closeness a kiss brings.

Their favorite kiss is the one that they share in the quiet moments. When one makes the other’s favorite dinner or gives the other a foot massage after a long day. When Nico watches a movie he knows he’ll dislike because Levi loves it. When Levi goes to the gym because he knows Nico enjoys his workout more with a buddy. It’s the kiss in these moments when words aren’t needed to express their love, but rather the silent knowledge of each other and the need for closeness. These kisses are small and chaste, no urgency or expectation. A small press of lips with a promise of love embedded underneath. This is the kiss of comfort, of home, of true love. Nico and Levi share a lot of kisses, but no kiss can compare to the ones in those moments of pure love.
