vis-à-vis my earlier ang post, i think one of the things that went wrong with 2012 (among ... others) was giving burke's rival cannery scheme to angelique instead. she simply doesn't care about girlboss capitalism like that. in my opinion.

#they gave the roger/burke divorce to barn/ang. diversity loss.#ang's strategy would be ''kill everyone in the cannery / fleet so it can't function and then blackmail a collins into marrying me'' not #''build my rival company up from the ground that i successfully head for hundreds of years''#no!#that's burke's gig. even if they do have overlap.#i can be your angel(ique) or your dev(il)n #nick? sure. playing the long game with the leviathans to build a big company? whatever.#ang? no.
