âHeavenâs hiding barely out of frame, but Hell embraces like a hurricane.â ~ Thousand Below, Hell Finds You Everywhere
Maeve awoke late the next morning with arms wrapped tightly around her waist. Gentle kisses and warm breath tickled her neck. âGâmorning,â she murmured, smiling, voice raspy from sleep.
âGood morning, doll,â Nick rasped into her neck. âYou sleep well?â
âMhm,â she hummed, turning to face him. âDid you?â
âSlept like a baby,â he grinned. He moved his arms so that she could face him fully, then rested a hand on her hip, rubbing his thumb across the sliver of skin exposed from her shirt riding up. Nickâs hair was tussled, his eyes sleepy, and his goofy smile was spread across his face like heâd just won the lottery. To him, he had.
âHowâs your hand?â she questioned. She placed her hand on his bicep and ran it down his arm until she reached his hand, grabbing it and moving it from her hip to in front of her.
âItâs a little sore,â Nick shrugged. âIâm not too worried about it.â He watched fondly as she inspected the bandage that was still securely in place around his knuckles. With a gentle touch and focused gaze, she began to unwrap his hand to check the wound underneath.
âIt looks a little better,â she commented under her breath once she could see the wound. She set the bandage on her nightstand before she pressed a soft kiss to his knuckles as she made eye contact with him.
Nick felt his heart jump into his throat and his eyes began to crinkle from how hard he was smiling. âItâs all thanks to you,â he grinned. He took his hand from her gentle hold and used it to pull her closer to him. âBest nurse ever,â he chuckled before pulling her in for a kiss.
Maeve giggled against his lips as she kissed back, her hands moving to cup his face. The kiss was soft and slow. Both of them kept accidentally breaking the kiss because they couldnât stop smiling.
Nick was the first to fully pull away. âCan I take you fishing today?â
âI donât really know how to fish,â Maeve shrugged. âBut Iâll come with you.â
âIâll teach you,â Nick sat up excitedly. âThis is gonna be sick.â
âSlow your roll,â Maeve giggled, sitting up. âI need coffee and food first.â
After a quick breakfast, Maeve sat in the passengerâs seat of Nickâs truck with the air conditioner blasting while Nick loaded up the poles, chairs, tackle boxes, and a cooler filled with water and beer. It was absolutely precious how excited he was to take her fishing. He hadnât stopped smiling once, rushing around to get everything they needed packed up like a kid helping pack the car for Disneyland. The next thing she knew, the driverâs side door swung open and Nick plopped into the seat. âYou ready?â he chirped, buckling his seatbelt with a quickness.
âReady.â
Nick plugged his phone into the aux and put on a mix of 90s and early 2000s country music before peeling out of the driveway. His right hand made purchase on Maeveâs thigh for the majority of the drive, which took about 30 minutes. It felt like no time at all as they laughed and joked all the way to the lake.
When they arrived, Maeve tried to get out of the truck. Nick stopped her. âAh ah ah,â he patted her thigh. âDonât touch that door.â Maeve furrowed her eyebrows at him as he got out of the truck and ran to the passengers side to open the door for her. He offered her his hand.
She grabbed it with a giggle. âThank you,â she chirped, getting out of the truck with his help and pressing a quick kiss to his check. She didnât miss the way his face flushed.
Maeve stood by as he unloaded the truck. He was trying to figure out how to carry everything in one trip, and struggling.
âNick,â Maeve laughed. âLet me help.â
âNo way, doll,â he grunted, trying again to adjust his grip and ultimately failing. âShit.â
âPlease?â she asked with a slight whine to her voice, eyes wide and lips pouted.
Nick looked up at her and nearly dropped everything he was holding. âFuck, youâre so cute,â his lips curved up into a smile. âFine. Câmere and grab something.â
She smiled victoriously as she walked over to him. She pushed her prescription sunglasses up the bridge of her nose before she took the lawn chairs and tackle box off his hands, her own bag hanging on her shoulder. He was left to carry the poles and the cooler, which was definitely the heaviest thing heâd brought. They then started the short hike to Nickâs favorite spot on the lake.
Once everything was set down, Nick pulled Maeve close and pressed a long kiss to her lips. His hands held onto her hips while hers snaked around his neck. âWhat was that for?â she asked, giggling, once he pulled away.
âFor helping me,â he pecked her lips. âAnd for coming with me.â
They pulled away from each other and Nick unfolded both of the chairs. He sat down and started to set up the poles. Maeve got her sunscreen out of her bag and began to apply it. When she was done, she stood in front of Nick. âBabe,â she said.
He looked up at her with a smile, eyes sparkling. âWhatâs up, doll?â
âLet me put sunscreen on you.â
âI donât burn. Iâll be okay.â
Her eyes narrowed. âNick, you need sunscreen.â
âAlright,â he chuckled, setting the pole he was working on to the side. âGo for it.â
Maeve smiled and sat down on his lap, facing him, not noticing how his eyes turned into saucers as she did. She put sunscreen in her hands and gently spread it on his face, ears, and neck, rubbing it into his skin with a soft touch. She did his arms next and then pressed a kiss to his cheek. âAll done,â she stood up.
Nick cleared his throat and took a deep breath. âThank you, baby,â he breathed, face burning hot. He went back to setting up the poles. When he was done, he handed one to her, leaving the other leaned up against the chair. âIâm gonna teach you how to cast, okay?â
Maeve awkwardly held the pole and nodded at him. He led her to the edge of the water. He adjusted her hands so that her left hand held the bottom of the grip and the right hand was above it near the reel. âJust keep your hands here,â he murmured as he adjusted them. âNow, take your right pointer finger and press the line against the pole,â he instructed. She followed his instruction. âGood,â he hummed. âNow, take your left hand off the pole.â She did. âNow, flick the reel up.â He guided her hand to the correct part of the reel and she flicked it up.
âGood job, doll,â he praised. Her face was red. âPut your left hand back on the pole.â When she did that, he continued. âYouâre going to swing the pole over your shoulder, donât let go of the line.â He wrapped his arms around her and placed his hands over hers to guide her motion. âNow, swing it forward and let go of the line. Flick the reel back down when it hits the water.â He guided her arms to swing the pole forward and helped her carry through and finish the cast. Satisfied, he kissed her cheek with a huge, goofy smile. âGreat job, baby.â Then he grabbed his own pole and casted.
âNow what?â Maeve asked, holding back a smile as she reminded herself to breathe.
âWe wait,â Nick shrugged.
It took a while for the fish to start biting. Maeve got the first bite. The top of her pole began to bend. âNick,â she squeaked. âWhat do I do?â
He looked over, âReel it in.â He stepped closer to her and held his pole between his legs as he helped her. The fish flopped as it was reeled into shore. Maeve squealed when it was finally out of the water. She held the pole while Nick worked to get it off of the hook. âLook at that,â he smiled proudly. âFirst catch of the day. Wanna hold it?â
She smiled wide, âYeah, actually. I kinda do.â
âAlright,â he moved the fish closer to her. âPut your thumb in its mouth and pinch.â
She did as directed and Nick pulled his hand away once she had a good grip. She giggled as she held it, âHoly shit.â Then it started to flop around in her grip, splashing her with water. She squealed and held it further away from herself. âTake it,â she squealed. âI donât wanna hold it anymore.â
Nick laughed and laughed hard as he took the fish back and tossed it back into the water. âYou big baby,â he teased.
The rest of the day was spent fishing and drinking. Nick even chased Maeve around with one of the fish he caught just so sheâd scream and laugh. That resulted with him getting pushed into the water, and her getting pulled down with him.
When they returned home, the sun was setting. It would be dark in no time. âDo you wanna come over and hang out?â Nick asked her as they turned down their street.
âYes,â she chirped. âBut I need to shower first. Iâll come over after.â
âThatâs fair,â Nick nodded, parking the truck. âI should do that too.â
âYeah you should,â Maeve teased. âYou stink.â
Nick rolled his eyes playfully, âWeâre here. Go shower. And be quick because I already miss you.â
Maeve gave Nick a quick kiss before grabbing her bag and hopping out of the truck.
Maeve went into her house and locked the door behind her before rushing to her bathroom to take a shower. It was a relatively quick shower. She did her skincare right after. By the time she walked into her bedroom and put on a cute lounge set, it was dark outside. She threw her hair into a ponytail and was ready to go.
Just as she reached her bedroom door to leave, she heard glass shatter. She figured it was likely a window. She nearly jumped out of her skin. In the heat of the moment, she was somehow able to keep herself from screaming. Frozen in fear, she heard a chilling voice, taunting her.
âHoney, Iâm home,â the creepy voice sang.
She instantly sprung into action. She knew that voice anywhere. Gripping her phone tightly in her hand, she locked her bedroom door and quickly made it into her closet, closing the door behind her as quietly as she could. She hid herself in a pile of clothes that were on the floor as she heard heavy footsteps booming throughout her home, headed straight for her room. âYou canât hide from me,â the voice shouted threateningly. With trembling fingers, she pulled up her and Nickâs text messages.
âI need help. Call 911.â
She sent the text before calling 911 herself. Her eyes welled up with tears as she silently prayed that someone would get to her before Tanner did.

187. folio
Okay, this prompt is hot. Iâm just gonna say it, it suits Folio.
187. âuse my thighâ
Smut prompt list found here.
The odd hook up in the greenroom before a show was pretty common on tour. Sometimes it was old flames showing up expecting a doorspot, and paying their tickets worth with sex. Other times it was strangers looking to get their quick fix. But most of the time, it was the longterm partners that knew that on tour, time spent together was very limited.
And that was the case for you, and Nick. The band had been on the road for 2 months now, and you travelled to see them when you could. There was only so many plane tickets you could buy until it was ridiculous. Nick knew this too, so he wanted to make sure he used his time with you wisely.
Everyone else was out doing their thing. Whether that be watching the support band play, warm up for their own show, or simply go and get something to eat, it left you and Nick alone in the greenroom backstage of the venue.
You were sat atop his lap, legs perched on either side of him, and he laid back on the couch, sinking into the cracked brown leather of the old decor. An old lamp hummed on the small black table next to you, giving off enough light to see the features of Nick glow in front of you. His hair hung just enough to hide parts of his eyes, already slicked and ready for the performance later on. The fingers on your left hand graze through the locks, gliding over his hair to reveal the lustful look in his eyes. Your right hand was cupped around the side of his neck, just below his ear, where you could feel his heartbeat stammering under the skin.
He leans up to reconnect your lips with his, and you submit to his touch, leaning into him with an eagerness only he got to experience. Lips lock together in a sloppy and hot manner, opening to push through tongues that danced between both domains. You had been together long enough to not need to worry about hurting another, so you bite down tenderly on Nickâs lower lip, tugging it back and you lean away to admire the sweaty state he was already in.
âThat door has got a huge window in itâ he stammers out between breathless huffs. âI think we need to be a little more inconspicuous than normal.â His hand raises to warm your check, thumb rubbing up and down the flushed pink skin on your face.
Heâs right. The window was too big, and people were walking past, albeit not very often. You couldnât just strip naked and hop on his dick like thereâs no tomorrow like you normally do. Fuck, you couldnât even ride him up and down or have him fuck you from behind as he pulls your hair like normal. People respect your relationship, but that is pushing the boundaries by putting on a show for them.
âUse my thighâ he demands, looking at you with a hopelessness to it. âGrind on my thigh, and Iâll do what I can around that. At least that way it just looks like weâre just making out.â He was nodding his head as if to agree with his own idea.
After glancing at the door, which stood threateningly on the opposite wall on the other side of the room, you look back at him. His eyes were ablaze with desire, pupils dilated so the black almost took over. How could you say no?
His right knee was closest to the door, so if you straddle that, it would hide the most of the action occurring on the other side of his leg. So you do just that, swinging a leg on either side of his right thigh, grinding down your hips in the same motion.
Oh, Nick likes that. He likes the way youâre using his leg like that. The way that youâll do anything to have him as your source of pleasure. Taking his face in your hands, you kiss him hot and heavy. It was sloppy, but oh so passionate. Teeth clashed in the most unromantic of ways, but you didnât care. Time like this together was rare so you were both in such a state that any connection would do.
You rock your hips some more, using the edge of the couch as leverage to ensure you donât topple and lose your placing. He can feel you on him, the neediness ricocheting off you. His hand slides up one thigh if yours, electric tingles left in the wake of his touch. Knowing going slow drives you wild, he was taking his time for once.
âYou know what Iâm going to do with this hand? These fingers?â He asks into your ear, quiet enough so only you could here. âIâm going to finger fuck you so good youâll forget where you are.â
You eyes roll back into your head, overwhelmed with pleasure as his fingers tug at the zipper of your pants and rub over your sensitive clit. It almost felt like it was on fire the way he was thumbing it between his fingers. It riled you up in the best and worst way possible. The tip of his index finger pressed against the fabric of your underwear, teasing at your entrance. His movements were bound by the clothing restricting your body, and it took everything in him to not tear holes right through it.
With the flick of a wrist, the delicate lace was rugged to the side, and one digit entered into your folds, spreading slick so that he could move with ease. The friction of his thumb in your clit and one finger inside you made you pull at the hairs on the back of his head, grabbing fistfuls and yanking then down involuntarily, making Nickâs head snap back.
He saw your face in all its glory then. The sweat on your brow starting to drip as your anticipation grew stronger. He watched how you couldnât hold you eyes open as he included another finger into you, a slight frown appearing in your face now at the sensation.
âTell me what you want me to doâ he whispered, loving this side of you.
âFaster. On my clit.â You demand. And he listens. The rubbing increased, and it was honestly amazing he didnât lose his placement. It tugged back and forth, making the waves of pleasure ripple through your body. That, along with the curling of his fingers inside you, made you double over, forehead pressed tight against the crook of Nicks neck, hips bucking down on his thigh in sync with his fingers, and the white hot explosion of your orgasm blew wide open. He could feel the tensing pulsation that you had no control over.
As the heat started to subside, he withdrew his fingers, promptly closing them in his mouth as to taste the fluids that he helped elicit from your body. As you lean back, his hands rest do your hips, and the dirk on his face was one of pure pride.
As if they were waiting for the perfect time, there is an announcement for final checks and positions for the main act to be taken, and he knows that itâs his time to leave. You nod at him, brushing away the sweat-stricken hair from your face, rolling beside Nick to the vacant spot on the lounge.
He stands promptly, kissing you on the forehead, then sending you a wink as he walks out of the door. You would go and watch him play from side stage tonight, but you just needed to catch your breath first.

halloween party (noah sebastian x reader)
18+, mdni, nsfw, Ghostface and Halloween-themed
It is October 31st, meaning it is both Halloween and my room mate Noahâs birthday. Every year we celebrate it at the same time, along with me, the rest of the band and some other friends and crew-members.
I start to get ready, and I had decided I wanted to be an attractive vampire this year for Halloween. I wear a fancy white blouse with a black leather corset on top, with rose detailed designs on it, making it look chic like and perfect for the costume. Underneath that I wear a short leather skirt, black thin tights and long, warm black socks for over my matching leather boots, detailed with spikes and chains. My black hair is styled a bit messy and my make up is dark with red, matching with the blood colored lipstick on my lips, that I smug a bit on the edges. When I look at the reflection of the mirror, I look satisfied and am ready for the party.
When I leave my room to head downstairs, I hear Noah's door open and close, making me smile in excitement.
âHey birthday guyââ
I want to greet him, but as soon as I see what he is dressed up this year, which is Ghostface, I am stuck in my tracks. My lips part as I slightly swallow, my eyes taking in Noah, feeling my cheeks slowly flush. No way he is dressed up as Ghostface, my all time favorite horror character, someone I secretly swoon about sometimes, since I might⊠have a thing for masks.
Noah clearly notices me eyeing him up and down, as he then amusingly asks, âLike what you see, y/n?â His voice is a bit muffled by the mask.
âEh, yeah, youâyou look very cool as Ghostface,â I stumble, swallowing once again, quickly tucking strands of hair behind my ear as I then move past him, downstairs down to the kitchen, making me suddenly very aware how short my skirt is again as I move.
He follows me down to the kitchen, feeling his stare burning behind me, feeling like it's completely taking me in, making me heat up even more.
âWhen will the others arrive again?â I then ask once we are in the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of water out of our fridge and taking some quick gulps. Our kitchen and living room is decorated and in the Halloween spirit, something I loved to do for Noah since I love both decorating and Halloween.
Noah stands next to me, and I notice a slight smile present on his face under the mask by the bright lights in the kitchen, looking around at my decorations as well. âYou have outdid yourself this year once again,â he comments, before remembering my question. âThey should be here in like 20 minutes.â
I smile up at him, appreciating his compliment. âThank you, always try my best.â
I turn to put the bottle back into the fridge, and when I then turn back around to Noah again, his mask is off, revealing his messy hair that is slightly pulled back, and in combination with the gloves and robe he is wearing I almost choke in my own breath.
âJesus Christ,â I then mumble underneath my breath as a I move myself to the couch before I can embarass myself even more.
Noah and I have been roommates for a year now, being kind enough to rent and share his space with me, and if Iâm being honest I have found him attractive from the start. But since we became good friends and he is mostly away on the road with his band, I decided to let the possibility of something more blooming between us go.
Noah lets out a low chuckle as he notices me looking flustered as he sits down right beside me, clearly being very much aware of the effect he has on me. âYou okay?â he asks, a slight smile on his face as he tilts his head at me.
âYeah,â I mumble, as I then watch him for a moment, my eyes ranking down to his costume again. âI can imagine that being warm inside,â I then nod to his outfit, flushing once again, so I quickly flick my eyes down to my lap. Damn, I hate being so flustered so fucking easilyâI shouldnât and I know that itâs wrong, but he looks even ten times hotter with that damn costume on.
He raises an eyebrow at my comment. âYouâre not wrong,â he shrugs, before he lets his eyes move down to my outfit as well.
âI can imagine yours is a bit heavy as well,â he then comments, his eyes raking over my corset.
âOh, it's okay,â I shrug with a sheepish smile, looking down at my white blouse and corset on top. âThereâs a chance that Iâll take the blouse from underneath the corset off later this evening though, since the house will be pretty crowded and stuff.â
Noah nods slowly at my statement, the image seeming to flash before his eyes for a moment. âMaybe I should take my robe off for the same reason,â he then jokingly comments, winking in my direction, before he gets up from the couch again, heading to the kitchen to get himself something to drink.
Oh, you definitely should, I mentally think to myself, feeling heated by his wink, and then quickly shake the thought away in embarrassment.
Twenty minutes later, Noahâs friends and band members arrive, all wishing him a happy birthday and some of my friends join us later. Even though Noah insisted that he did not want some special moment with a cake and candles he had to blow out, we of course did exactly that, and even though he rolled his eyes and pretended to be grumpy with his arms crossed in front of his chest, I could tell by the sparkle in his eyes that he secretly enjoyed it.
Later that evening, Iâm sitting on the couch talking with some friends, laughing and drinking, and I feel Noah stealing some glances from me sometimes, making me blush and I stare back whenever I have the confidence. Now he just smugly smiles a bit, leaning against the counter with his Ghostmask off again, gloves wrapped around his beer, and my mind already goes to the most unholiest things so quicklyâhow the cold of the leather gloves would feel around my throat for exampleâ
I clear my throat and quickly shake the thoughts away, trying to concentrate on the conversation with my friends again, mentally slapping myself against the head. I'm the worst.
But then, I feel someone sitting next to me, and almost jump when it's Noah, looking at me with an amused expression and some glint in his eyes that I canât quite unravel yet.
âNoah,â I smile, âhi.â
He lifts his beer at me in a greeting gesture before smirking and turning his full attention to me. âHow are you enjoying the party, Little Vampire?â he asks, coming up with a nickname right there on the spot, making me both blush in amusement and flattery.
He then leans back into the couch with a slight grin, before taking a sip from his drink. âNice to see you didnât cover your neck tonight.â
I canât help but chuckle at his little joking comment. âWell, could say the same about the people around me, right? Need something to feed from after all,â I joke back.
He amusingly laughs at my remark, for sure noticing the redness once again spreading across my cheeks by the way his eyes seem to gleam even more.
Noah then leans in a little, making me let out an uncontrollable nervous breath, his eyes lingering on my lips for a moment before he looks into my eyes again, a mischievous glint now in his own dark ones.
âBut have you found someone to feed of off yet? Youâve been eyeing me all night Iâve noticed.â
My eyes widen a little as he says that, my heart racing up a little, and I sheepishly smile at him.
âHave I? Ohââ
I blink as I don't know how to get the words out of my throat for a moment, and then proceed to quickly shake my head as my blush keeps spreading on my face, answering his question. âI have not found someone yet to feed, noââ
A smirk plays on Noah's lips as he notices my reaction, deciding to take it one step further. âWell you know⊠since itâs my birthday, I can give you a giftâŠâ he then whispers into my ear.
Goosebumps appear on my skin as heat spreads now almost everywhere in my body at this point, and I slightly gasp at the feeling of one of his leather gloves then sliding up on my thigh.
âArenât people supposed to give you a gift when its their birthday?â I then answer back, looking at him through my lashes, the feeling of him squeezing the flesh of my thigh as well already unraveling so much inside of me already.
He lets out a playful hum, letting his hand travel further up now to my hip. He leans even more forward, his dark brown eyes trained on my lips again first before looking back into my eyes.
Then to my surprise he brushes his lips past my ear, his breath grazing my skin, making me hold my own. âWell⊠my birthday wish from you is to give me what you want most.â
A shaky breath escapes from my with red, blood colored painted lips, and I slightly turn my head to his face so our noses slightly brush against each other, faces dangerously close, making me able to feel his soft breathing through his nose brushing against my face.
I decide its now or never, wanting to take this chance, wanting him.
âHow about you help a helpless vampire out and be my victim for tonight?â I whisper back, smiling slightly.
A slight grin forms on Noah's face as he hears my request. Leaning back a little he locks eyes with me for a moment before standing up, holding out his hand. âFollow me.â
With both nerves and excitement I take his hand, letting him pull me along towards the staircase that leads up to our apartments bedrooms, my heart pounding in my chest as we walk up side by side.
My mind is already spinning with nerves, desire and excitement. As soon as we reach his bedroom, he closes it behind us once we are in, and when he places his Ghostface mask back on his face again my eyes slightly widen, and the arousal between my legs begins to spread. Oh, he knows what heâs doing.
Then, Noah grabs me and pins me against his door, his hands resting behind me on each side of my body. He tilts my head at him, the mask making him look somewhat scary and yet mysteriousâmysterious enough for me to become more flustered than ever. His eyes wander down to my lips, seeing the need to press them against mine but he clearly wants the game to continue first, just a little bit longerâby sliding his knee up between my legs, resting between my thighs.
I whimper as he does that, heart racing even more, and I need to hold onto his biceps for support because of the heat already being spread between my thighs, making me light headed with desireâand of course his biceps feel hard and trained, just like they normally already look like, and it makes me ache for him even more.
Noah smirks at the feeling of me holding onto him. âAlready so needy and wanting for me,â he says into my ear, his hands sliding down my sides, feeling the lace of my corset underneath his fingers. He presses up against me with his knee to gain a little bit more friction against my core, making me let out another gasp.
âNoah,â I canât help but gasp out his name, making me flush a little.
He leans his face against my neck, slowly taking off his mask again to let his lips hovering over my skin, his breath grazing the area gently, before pressing a small peck to the skin. âI can only imagine the sounds I can get out of you tonight.â
His teeth tug at my earlobe, before moving down towards my jawline, placing another kiss there. I groan, then wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling him even more against me, making me able to feel his excitement growing, and it makes everything inside of me flush and heat up, and the desire for him grow. The thought that Iâm the one that makes him feel this needy, makes me feel even more worked up.
Noah's hips push against mine, his head now buried in my neck, kissing the skin, even teasingly biting the skin at various places, not hard enough to cause any real harm, but enough to cause red marks thatâll stay for a while.
âArenât I the vampire here though?â I canât help but teasingly grin at that.
Pulling his face out from my neck he looks into my eyes, the corners of his lips pulling up into a smirk as I say that. âI think youâre forgetting that tonight is my birthday, not yours, little vampire, and I get to do what I want⊠and right now, all I want is you.â He leans in towards my face, his lips just inches away from mineâso close, yet so far.
âAnd this is only the beginning of your gift to me.â
My doe eyes widen as I look up to him, eager and desperate, and I still stubbornly lean to his neck despite his words, placing a few kisses before marking some bits of his skin. I feel him shiver underneath my touch, a low groan escaping his lips, making my heart beat even faster.
When I pull back with a smug smile, I say, âVampires still need to be fed, birthday or not.â
He takes a small step back from me, his dark eyes raking over my body slowly, a smirk creeping on his face. âTake off the corset.â
The fast beating of my heart goes up to the pulse of my neck as he asks me that, a confirmation of where I hoped this night between us would go, and I quickly nod as I then take off the corset, leaving me in just my thin white blouse, revealing the outline of my chest, and a fire builds up in the pit of my stomach by the way he watches my every move.
Noah then takes a slow step towards me, placing his hands on my hips and pulling me close towards him, hips rubbing against mine again. I start to breathe heavily, hands trembling as I feel nervous yet excited.
Lifting my chin, he presses kisses to my jawline again, nipping at the skin here and there as well and it makes me softly moan, the other hand slowly moving up to my chest, as it goes underneath the fabric of my blouse. I enjoy the feeling of his warm, large hand there, making a ragged breath escape from my lips.
His fingers graze across my collarbone, feeling my skin underneath, and the touch is so light, almost like a feather is touching me. His lips trace up from my neck to my ear, nibbling on my earlobe gently again. Then, he takes a step back, my eyes locked with his, before he speaks.
âGet on the bed, now.â
I eagerly nod at him, walking towards his bed, sitting down at it and already taking and kicking off my own boots without him having to ask me to, since Iâm getting desperate and needy for him by the minuteâIâve fantasized about a moment like this for embarrassingly too long, and now that itâs finally happening I want it now.
Noah then watches me lay down on his bed, eyes raking over my frame, taking in what was going to be his gift for tonight. He walks over to me before straddling my hips, taking his gloves off with his teeth before letting them fall onto the ground. The sight of him doing that makes my eyes nearly pop out, it being one of the hottest things Iâve ever seen.
Leaning down, Noah places teasing kisses on my cheek, then jaw, and slowly moving down to my neck again, his hands working on unbuttoning my blouse. His lips kiss every little part of exposed skin down from my neck, to my collarbones and then down to my chest, making me whimper and shift my hips against the mattress in anticipationâand I already feel like I'm getting taken to cloud nine.
He lets his tongue run across my skin, tasting me as he unbuttons the last few buttons of my blouse, making me gasp. He pushes the fabric off my arms and down onto the floor, then pulling back, looking down and taking in the sight of my skin and exposed chest. He licks his lips as his hands glide up to my sides, caressing the soft skin.
âSo, so gorgeous,â he whispers in the dark, almost more towards himself it seems, his eyes drifting back up to meet mine after.
It feels like Iâm exploding with fuel and desire inside, being lit up with every touch and look of him, making my heart hammer inside of my chest from nerves but especially excitement. My hips start to grind against his a bit, making me able to press a little against his bulge, and I have to bite back a amused smile by that, as I feel myself drooling between my legs by the feeling at the same time.
A low groan escapes Noah's lips as he looks back down between the both of us, getting stimulated by my movements. His lips then find my jaw again, teeth scraping the skin before pulling back to look into my eyes. He gives me a dark, smug look before he stands up from the bed, his hands slowly taking off his robe and the long sleeved shirt he wears underneath, letting it slide down his body as it falls to the ground by his feet. âTell me how much you want me, sweetheart, so I can give you everything and more.â
And Jesus fucking Christâheâs a sight, a goddamn hot, tattooed and worked out sight as I let my eyes roam over his exposed chest, flushing madly by it
âI want you,â I whisper as my eyes go back to his own darkened ones again, âfor so long. Even more⊠like this.â
His lips curve into a smile as he slowly steps back towards me again, moving his hands down to his pants, slowly unbuckling the belt while looking into my eyes that slightly widen in anticipation. âHow long have you waited for this?â
âToo long to admit,â I mumble, my eyes going down to his belt. âIt's embarrassing.â
Noah slides his pants down his legs along with his underwear, letting them fall to the floor as well before slowly climbing on the bed, hovering over me once again, making my heart rate rise madly. His hands slide down my body, down to my skirt, his fingers hooking into them as I continue to look at him.
âItâs okay, I have too. And I know how needy you are right now, sweetheart.â He kisses my jawline, hands slowly pulling my skirt down my body, leaving me in only my panties.
âYouâreally?â I stumble as I hear his words, and all the fire in me burns up again, making me need him so badly, and wanting him, craving him, more than ever before.
One of his hands caresses my thigh, feeling the soft skin underneath his lean fingers, before slowly gliding up to my covered center. He watches his hand as it moves slowly over my panties, his fingers grazing my core, applying a teasing but light pressure, making me squirm.
âOf course,â he says in response, a devilish grin on his face, eyes looking down at where his hand is touching, and God, it's another hot sight. His other hand goes to remove the rings he wears on his fingers, the chunky silver ones I've grown to love so much, and I get more needy for him by the minute, making my body tremble with eagerness.
I look down at our naked bodies, making me heavily flush again but also dampen with even more in anticipation. Once his rings have made their way onto the nightstand he leans down towards my ear again. His lips ghost over the skin of my neck, trailing down as he speaks, âAre you sure youâre ready to be mine?... To let me take you in every way possible? To make you completely mine?â
He nips at the flesh before pulling back a little to look into my eyes. I whimper desperately at his words, chest rising up and down heavily, my arms already wrapping around his neck.
âYes,â I breathe out in response, my eyes then looking at his lips.
Noah's right hand cups my cheek, gently caressing the skin with his thumb, and then finally pressing a soft kiss to my lipsâitâs slow, passionate, and full of desire. Soon, his tongue grazes my lower lip, teasingly asking for entrance which I instantly give him, before moving his other hand to my waist and starting to slide my panties down my legs, all while never breaking the kiss.
I moan deeply in our kiss, my legs already slowly opening for him in pure eagerness as he then throws my panties away once they are fully down. His tongue slips into my mouth, swirling with mine as he groans against my mouth, the taste of him sweet and heavenly.
Noah's hands then slide across my thighs, his teeth grazing my bottom lip as he pulls it back for a second to look at me, before leaning down and kissing me once more, and God, it kills me and makes my anticipation and need for him grow even more and more. His right hand slides up my thigh, his fingers feeling the warmth of my center before rubbing against it gently.
My back arches slightly, eyes squeezing shut by the pleasure, and my jaw drops as sounds of pleasure begin to escape me. Noah can't seem to help but moan into my mouth in response, it makes him feel how badly I need him. He breaks the kiss and moves down to my jawline, then slowly down to my neck, leaving a few bruising bites behind, and I know they'll show tomorrow when I get up.
My panting and moaning get heavier and heavier with the more pleasure he gives me, his movements teasing at first, but then speeding upâleaving me a trembling mess. I can feel myself getting close, and Noah is being able to know by my desperate sounds and the way I move underneath him.
His lips pull away from my neck again, and he slowly slides down my body, placing kisses against my skin as he goes, his lips coming to rest at my chest. His left hand moves up my side towards my arm, pinning it down against the bed, before doing the same with the other arm. And now he has me underneath him, completely at his mercy, making my heart speeding up even more, with lips parted as I look at him with anticipation, as I'm about to get closer and closer to the edge.
Noah continues to work his fingers against my core, lips kissing all the way down my chest and then towards the inside of my thigh, leaving a faint trail of marks behind as he goes. His teeth graze the skin while his dark, lustful eyes never leave mine.
âPlease,â I then breathe out as his mouth goes closer to my center, âI need you thereââ
He listens to my pleas as a grin forms across his face. âSuch a needy thing you are,â he chuckles softly against my sensitive skin. His eyes look back up to mine before looking at my aching core, making me shift even more in need.
âBut, I will give you what you desire,â he then hums. His tongue flicks out, teasingly licking a slow, but broad trace, making me sharply inhale.
âFuck,â I heavily pant out, making my back arch even more. I feel him smirk as my hips buck against his mouth as he hears the sounds of me falling apart beneath him. The hand that was holding my arm down moves up towards my head, gently lacing his fingers into my hair before pulling it, and he looks up again at me.
âBe good and take it,â he then commands with a low voice, it being enough to make me moan out loud again.
âIâll take it,â I pant in response, âfuck, Iâll take it allââ
Noah hums against my core, slightly vibrating against me, driving me crazy. He then looks up at me through his lashes, watching my face contort and twitch in pleasure. His left hand then moves to the desk next to his bed again, taking one of the gloves off it and sliding it on again, making my eyes widen. Oh godâhe has definitely noticed what those gloves did to me the whole evening.
I see him having to hold back a grin at my reaction, confirming that. âLook at you baby, already looking wrecked,â he teases, his eyes and lips leaving my enter to look up at me, his gloved hand now moving down to my core, slowly rubbing me, and I gasp and squeeze my eyes shut at the feeling of the leather against me.
âOh God Noah,â I choke out, feeling myself getting even closer to the edge, and his lips curve into a mischievous grin.
âAnd now look at you, begging me already,â he taunts after a dark, amused chuckle follows. âIâll give you what you want, darling, but only if you say my name. Thatâs the only way youâll get what you need.â
âNoah,â I desperately choke out, my voice sounding needy, practically shaking as I say his name, and he chuckles softly at how vulnerable and exposed I am right now. âIâm so close, pleaseââ
âThatâs my pretty thing,â Noah hums, his lips going back to my aching center, continuing to devour me with his tongue, and I let out the most desperate sounds, and soon enough I grab and pull his hair, hitting my edge, hard and with trembling legs he needs to hold with both his hands.
The sounds I'm making are almost loud enough for the others, and the realization makes my climax feel even more pleasurable and hot to me. Noah pulls away from my center, looking at me, taking in my dazed expression.
âWhat a pretty thing you are, y/n,â he praises me as he crawls over and hovers over me again.
I blush yet roll my eyes at the same time, chuckling lightly. âYeah yeah,â I playfully respond as I swat his chest, and he joins my laughter.
âNow roll over for me, and make me wish you an even better happy birthday.â

All Pure Fiction!!!!!
---
They say that the feeling of falling in love is one of the best feelings to have. I knew this when I fell in love with Noah; I felt like the butterflies in my stomach were lifting me up. What you never expect is for that feeling to change or to fade away completely. I knew Noah was busy with his new album, dedicating 99% of his time to it, and I never got upset or angry with him for that. Since he was a kid, it had always been his dream, and I wasn't going to take that away from him.
The problem started when he couldn't balance work and family anymore. I'd come home, and heâd be in his studio on a call with one of the guys, discussing the album. When I would call him to have dinner or even just to spend time with me, he always brought his laptop along, saying he was almost done and would turn it off soon. I always believed him. That never happened.
I was sitting at the kitchen counter when I heard the front door open; I knew it was Noah. There was the sound of keys, backpacks, and voices.
Wait.
Voices? Who would Noah bring home on a Wednesday at 9:00?
I recognized the voice; it was Jolly. I knew that Jolly was the one who helped him write songs the most, and that was probably why he was there. The footsteps got closer to the kitchen, and soon I saw Noah's brown eyes looking at me.
I looked at him and gave a weak smile, and he returned it, saying, âOh hey â as he came closer and gave me a kiss on the forehead, âHey, my love,â I said, putting my arms around his neck. I felt someoneâs gaze on my back; I knew it was Jolly.
âHey to you too, Jolly,â I said, a playful smile on my face. âHey, y/n, how are you?â he asked as he approached. âIâm good, and you?â I felt Noah loosen his grip on me.
We continued talking about my day and about their new album.
We had already had dinner, and Jolly had just left. Now, I was on one end of the couch, and Noah was on the other. We hadnât had a chance to talk alone yet, but I could feel something strange between us.
His silence was killing me. It wasnât new, though; I had felt the need to ask him what was happening between us for a while now. I didnât have the courage, and I didnât know if it was a lack of courage or fear of knowing the answer. My thoughts were interrupted when I felt Noah get up from the couch; he was heading to our bedroom.
âAre you going to stay there?â he asked, not looking at me, then hesitated for a second and I donât what happened, my mouth let slip the question I had been avoiding.
âDo you want a divorce?â The words finally came out.
I felt him stop what he was doing and turn to face me; confusion was evident in his eyes.
âWhat?â
âYou heard me.â I couldnât look at him.
âNo, I want you to look me in the eyes and ask that question again.â He seemed offended by my question.
I felt furious. How could he be mad at me? After weeks of ignoring me and pretending our marriage didnât exist?
I looked at him, feeling angry tears burning in my eyes.
âDo you want a divorce?â I almost spelled out each word.
âWhy would you ask me that? Is that what you want?â He raised his voice.
He seemed to want to read my thoughts, to know whether I wanted the divorce or if I thought he was the problem. At that moment, I did think he was the issue, but Noah knew me better than anyone.
In our three years of marriage, no one had kept my secrets the way he had, no one understood me like he did, no one cared for me as he did.
âYou know thatâs the last thing I would want for our relationship.â
âThen why are you asking me this?â
I thought about inventing a lie, saying that maybe we just werenât understanding each other or that things werenât working out. But that was a lie. In the last few weeks, I cared more about our relationship than I did for myself. I had done everything I could to try to save what was left of us. Nothing helped.
âMaybe because you are making me feel like you want thisâI let my feelings get the best of me.
âI tried to make this work, Noah. I really did, and now I feel like I'm the only one âlovingâ in this relationship.â
âThatâs not true; you know I love you.â His hesitation to respond made me doubt it.
âI donât know, Noah. In the last few weeks, all I felt was that I was alone.â Tears threatened to fall.
âIâm here, always.â He seemed to believe his own words.
That wasnât true; he wasnât here. His body might have been, but my Noah wasnât.
âNo! Youâre not here. You know that. All youâve done in the last few weeks is spend hours on the phone with Jolly discussing the new album.â I was tired of trying to point out his mistakes.
âYeah? Thatâs my job. You know I need to do this. I have people depending on me, my record label needs me to do this; the guys need me to do this.â
âAnd at what point did spending hours in the studio become more important than family?â I was staring at the floor now.
He seems angry and annoyed
âI canât do that right now, and I wonât.â He turned his back and headed toward our bedroom, and soon after, the door slammed.
I felt a burning blade in my throat; my eyes were pleading for me to let my tears fall. And thatâs what I did; I released all the emotions I had bottled up in the last few weeks. I needed this.
I felt disheartened seeing that he truly didnât care about us, even a little.
I turned off the kitchen lights and went to the guest room; I wasnât going to sleep next to Noah, not after he simply turned his back on me, leaving my question hanging.
I lay down and didnât feel Noahâs familiar warmth beside me; it felt strange. I closed my eyes and let the tears flow again. How long would I endure this? Feeling alone and like I was the only one in the relationship.
Lost in my thoughts, I fell asleep.
I guess it was time to maybe make a bad decision, but I decided to think about that the next day.
The next morning, I felt rays of sunshine on my face. I reached for the pillow beside me, trying to feel Noah. When I felt the cold bed, my eyes opened, and I turned towards my hand. I wasnât in our bedroom, and Noah wasnât with me.
I went down to the kitchen and saw a note on the counter.
âMaybe we should take the day off , separately. Iâm not breaking up with you; I just think I need to figure out what I want. Iâm gonna be home after 10:00. Love you forever.
Noah.
Wow, he really left. I crumpled the paper, throwing it in the trash and headed to our bedroom. The bed was made and his side of the closet was open. A mess into the closet.
I looked at our photo on the dresser. I took it down. Maybe this was the end for us.
I felt determined not to wait for Noah to decide what he wanted to do with his life. I needed to make my own life.
I grabbed a suitcase from our closet and started throwing my clothes inside, packing everything I needed. I looked at the photo I had put down, thinking about putting it in the suitcase. But no. I needed to move on. With Noah or without Noah.
After I packed everything I needed, I headed to my car, putting my suitcase in. I looked at the house that once brought us so much happiness , and I felt sad. Knowing that maybe our marriage had ended this way.
Itâs okay. Youâll be alright. I told myself, trying to convince myself that I would be okay.
Noah made his bad decision, and now he would have to live with it. But it wouldnât affect my choice.
Be careful with your bad decisions.

Tangled hearts
Pairings: Noah Sebastian x reader Warnings: none Notes: I have nothing interesting to say, I was listening to 'Heather' lol + i was thinking about Sons Of Anarchy Jax while writing this, pls keep that in mind x
You were walking next to Noah to your local pub, feeling a mix of emotions swirling inside you like a whirlpool. You'd been best friends with Noah for as long as you can remember, sharing laughs, tears, heartbreak, happiness and everything in between. But there was this secret, this feeling you kept hidden deep downâa kind of love that felt too risky to admit, scared it might ruin your friendship.
As you arrived at your local pub, the familiar sights and sounds washed over you as you settled in your usual spot. Noah plopped down beside you, his smile lighting up the room. It was a routine, almost, Noah snagging the seat next to you without fail. If he didn't, well, he'd sulk like a kid missing their favorite toy.
"So, what's the plan for tonight?" Noah asked, his eyes sparkling as he leaned in closer.
"I was thinking we could start with a game of pool," you suggested.
"Sounds like a plan," he replied, his tone light and playful. "But you know I'm going to beat you at pool, right?"
You laughed. âWe'll see about that," you teased, your heart swelling with love for your best friend. "Besides, if you beat me, I might have to find a handsome stranger to console me."
There was a pause, a flicker in Noah's eyes that caught your attention. His smile wavered, his gaze shifting.
"Really?" Noah's asked, arching his brow.
You shrugged. "Who knows?" you said with a playful wink. "I might just sweep some unsuspecting guy off his feet with my killer pool skills."
Noah's expression darkened. âMh, okay.â he muttered.
You furrowed your brow, caught off guard by the sudden change in Noah's demeanor. "Are you okay?" you asked, concern coloring your tone.
Noah forced a smile, avoiding your gaze. "Yeah, I'm fine," he insisted, his tone not quite convincing.Â
Lost in your thoughts, you attempted to immerse yourself in conversation with your other friends, hoping to distract yourself. But then, like a sudden gust of wind disrupting the peace, the door swung open almost with a theatrical flair, like those damn Hollywood movies, and just the most beautiful girl stepped inside.
Your heart skipped a beat as she made her way across the room, her presence along drawing the attention of everyone around her. Your gaze followed her, unable to tear away as she approached Noah, her smile as bright as the stars.
And then, like a dagger to your heart, Noah turned towards you and the rest of your group, his eyes lit up with genuine joy. "I want you to meet someone special," he said, his voice filled with excitement.
"This is Heather," he introduced, his gaze never leaving your face. "My girlfriend."
The words hung in the air like a heavy shroud, suffocating you with their weight. You forced a smile, your heart breaking with each syllable that escaped Noah's lips. Who the fuck is she and where did she came from? Since when has Noah a girlfriend?
"It's lovely to meet you, Heather," you said with the sweetest smile.
Heather smiled warmly. "Likewise! Noah's told me so much about you," she said, her voice a gentle melody in the chaos of your thoughts.
As Noah and Heather chatted with the others, you felt yourself drifting further away.
Nicholas squeezed your hand, his silent support a lifeline. "Are you okay?" he whispered.
âOf course, why wouldnât I be?â you whispered back as casually as you could sound.
You watched as Noah and Heather sat down hand in hand, unable to suppress the ache in your heart.
â
Feeling overwhelmed, you excused yourself to go to the restroom, Juno, your best friend, offering to come with you. As soon as the door closed behind you, the tears just came streaming down, and you collapsed against the wall, also like a fucking Hollywood movie.
Juno wrapped her arms around you, holding you tight as you sobbed. Juno knew about your feelings towards Noah.
"I don't know what to do, Juno," you whispered between sobs. "Noah, he... he's always so flirty with me, always acting strange when I mention other guys, always so touchy and needy and then he pulls this stunt? Since when is he dating a girl named Heather?â
Juno's grip tightened around you, her own confusion evident in her silence for a moment. "I wish I had the answers for you, Y/N," she finally said. "But I donât, Iâm sorry, men are trash."
Her unexpected comment caught you off guard, and despite feeling heavy, a little laugh came out. It was a moment of relief in the middle of all the chaos.
You nodded, tears still running down your face. Despite feeling sad and insecure because Heather was the most stunning girl youâve had ever seen, you knew you had to act tough.
Standing up straight, you wiped away your tears. "No man is going to make me cry today," you declared. "I'm not going to let Noah ruin my night. I'm here to have fun, and that's exactly what I'm going to do."
â
As the night rolled on and the drinks kept coming, you did your best to ignore Noah and Heather. But for some reason, Heather seemed dead set on getting to know you, constantly interrupting your conversations with her silly questions. You just wished she'd leave you alone with her pretty eyes, perfect nose, and flawless skin.
Despite your efforts to be friendly, you kept your interactions with her short. Not really in the mood to mingle with her, even though nothing was her fault actually. Itâs not like she had any say in how God chose her to be his favourite. You asked Noah to play a game of pool, but suddenly he wasn't interested anymore, only eyes for Heather. So, you did what you knew best: flee the situation and find that handsome stranger to console you.
If Noah could bring along his girlfriend, you figured you could find some fun for the night too, right?
Juno was by your side, the ultimate wing woman. It being a Friday night, the pub was crowded with people. It didn't take long for Juno and you to approach a couple of guys for a game of pool. You played the part of a clueless girl, pretending you didn't know how to play, so the tall, blonde haired stranger would offer his help, just like in the movies, again.Â
As you engaged in the game, bantering back and forth, the tension between you and the stranger grew stronger. With a playful smirk, he leaned in closer, his eyes locking with yours. "You know, for someone who claims not to know how to play, you're doing pretty well," he smiled.
You chuckled softly, feeling a flutter in your chest. "Beginner's luck, I suppose," you replied. "But who knows, maybe you could teach me a thing or two?"
A spark of interest igniting in his eyes. "I'd be happy to give you a few pointers," he said flirty. "But only if you promise to give me a chance to win you over with more than just pool skills."
You leaned in closer, your voice dropping to a whisper. "Well, in that case, consider me intrigued," you said, a smile playing at your lips. "Lead the way, pool master."
âI am Jax by the wayâ he said as he flashed a smile. âY/N, nice to meet you.â
â
Noah watched as you interacted with that douche, sharing laughs and exchanging glances, and couldn't shake the unsettling feeling in the pit of his stomach. His discontent grew more apparent by the minute.Â
Finally, unable to contain his annoyance any longer, Noah started bitching to Nicholas. "Can you believe Y/N right now?" he asked sharply. "She's completely ignoring me for that guy. It's like she doesn't even care that I'm here. I mean us, I thought it was a friends night out.â
Nicholas raised an eyebrow, looking at Noah with a hint of amusement. "Maybe she's just having fun," he suggested.
But Noah shook his head, his frustration evident. "It's not just that," he continued, growing more agitated. "That guy she's with, he's not good enough for her. And he clearly doesn't have a clue what she wants.â
âAnd you know what Y/N wants? Are youâre the Y/N expert?â he laughs.
Without hesitation, Noah replied firmly, "Yes, of course I do. And it's not that guy." His tone left no room for doubt.
Nicholas listened carefully as Noah complained further. "Are you jealous?" Nicholas asked, even though he already knew the answer.
Noah's expression darkened, his jaw tensing as he struggled to contain his emotions. "Why would I be jealous?" he replied defensively. "I've got Heather, remember?"
But Nicholas could tell that Noah wasn't being completely honest. It was clear that Noah's true feelings for you were far more complicated than he was willing to admit.
â
As you chatted with Jax during the game, seeing Noah and Heather being all lovey-dovey in the corner made you feel a bit jealous, well this was maybe an understatement. They looked so cozy together, like they belonged with each other. It made you want to puke, want to pull your hair out but it also made you wish you were Heather as well. You just wanted to smash her pretty, little face into a wall. So, yeah, you were only a bit jealous.
"So, how did you end up here tonight?" Jax asked, flashing you a friendly smile as he lined up his shot.
âNothing special, just hanging out with some friends.â You replied nonchalantly.
Jax chuckled, leaning against the pool table. "Same here. Thought I'd come out and see what the night had in store. And I must say, meeting someone as intriguing as you was definitely unexpected."
You felt a blush creeping up your cheeks at his compliment. "Flattery will get you everywhere," you teased, taking your turn at the pool table.
As the game continued, the conversation flowed effortlessly between you and Jax. But you couldn't stop thinking about Noah and Heather. Feeling jealous like that was weird for you, and it made you feel like like you werenât good enough.
But before you knew it, the game had ended, but the tension between you and Jax grew strong. With a shy smile, you found yourself blurting out, "Do you maybe want to go for some fresh air?â
You knew you were acting out of spite and jealousy, but Jax was a cute guy, so no harm, right?
Jax's eyes lit up with excitement, mirroring your own. "I'd love to," he replied eagerly. "Lead the way." mimicking your words from earlier.
You motioned for Juno, to let her know you were okay as you and Jax made your way out of the bustling pub.
â
Meanwhile, Noah's mood was shifting from bad to worse as he watched you leaving with Jax. His face turned red with anger, and he clenched his fists, fuming silently. Nicholas noticed Noah's frustration and tried to calm him down.
âAre you okay, man?â Nicholas asked.
Noah waved him off, trying to play it cool. "It's nothing, just being protective, you know? Y/N's my best friend, and I just want to make sure she's okay," he said, but his words rang hollow, even to himself.
And to make matters worse, Heather was up his ass as well now. Heather, who had been observing the situation all night, couldn't hold back her frustration any longer. She wasn't a fool. Noah was always talking about you. About how funny you were, how kind you were, even how beautiful you were. That's why Heather wanted to get to know you tonight, to scout the competition.
"Noah, ever since Y/N went to talk with that guy, you've been acting weird," she said, her voice tinged with annoyance.
Noah's facade cracked, his frustration boiling over. "Why are you acting jealous all of a sudden? Y/Nâs just my best friend," he snapped.
Heather's eyes widened in shock, hurt flashing across her face. "Excuse me?" her voice rising in anger. âIâm the one acting jealous? You're the one with a girlfriend, yet you're acting like a possessive boyfriend over another girl. Maybe you should figure out what you really want before pointing fingers at me!â
"No, no, it's not like that," Noah tried to backtrack, but his words only seemed to further fuel Heather's anger.
"What do you mean it's not like that? Itâs exactly like that!â Heather yelled, her voice sharp with frustration.
Heather stood up in a hurry, grabbing her jacket from the chair. "Call me when you made up your mind about what you want, I don't have time for this." she said firmly before storming out of the pub.Â
Noah watched her go, his jaw clenched in stubborn silence. He made no move to follow her, his gaze followin her to the door where he spotted you standing outside. The sight of you and the stranger chatting outside only seemed to add fuel to the fire of Noah's already simmering emotions. A mixture of jealousy and frustration swirling within him.Â
He didn't know what to do, so he just stayed where he was. He didn't chase after Heather, and he didn't approach you either. He just stood there, watching, feeling lost.
To be continued.

Heavy bass vibrated through not only the walls of our home, but the entirety of my body, shaking me to the core. The air in the foyer was thick with the smoke billowing from the fog machine, creeping low against the wooden floors and swirling as I walked through it.
Continuing through our home, I couldnât help the nagging thought in my head of whether we really should have a strobe light going or not. It was starting to make me dizzy; the last thing we needed was someone dropping in the middle of the living room from a seizure, but the girls insisted it was necessary for the night and told me to stop being such a worry wart.
It was Halloween night, and the girls and I were getting ready for the impromptu party we threw together. We invited practically the whole block, shoving flyers into their mailboxes the night before, not expecting half of them to show. Still, we went all out and bought two kegs and brought out the entirety of our liquor cabinet, along with probably a dozen pizzas just in case.
It was LA after all, and word does spread like wildfire here, so maybe there was a chance of a huge turnout.
I made my way up the stairs and into my bedroom to check on how the others were doing with their costumes, stopping short when I got a look at Gemmaâs outfit. Nicholas outdid himselfâthe âinkâ on Gemmaâs arms was that of Noahâs, though rushed from the amount of time we had to get ready. Still, he did his job, and you could tell they were supposed to be the crimson waves and the grayscale portrait Noah had. And of course, the snake with the forbidden fruit on the neck.
Gemma stood with a proud smile on her face, waving her hands up and down her body to brandish her outfit. I snorted, taking in the cropped black tank top, short black skirt, and fishnet combo. She had a white shoelace around the waistband of the skirt to mimic the drawstring on his stage pants, and even had the chain necklace and bracelet he wore on his left wrist.
âSingle glove or hand wraps?â she asks, holding up one in each hand. âThe glove is more infamous in my opinion, but it might get sweaty,â I shrugged. âUp to you.â She tilts her head back in forth, pondering before settling with the hand wraps. She tossed the glove onto the bed, hitting Adeline with it, who was lying on her stomach.
âIf youâre gonna hit me in the ass with a glove, make sure your hand is in it,â Adeline teases, looking back at us over her shoulder. "Duly noted," Gemma laughs and makes her way over to the bed, promptly slapping Adeline over her bustle-clad ass. "What even are you?" Adeline rolls over and stands up, picking up her fedora and placing it on her head. She points to the holster strapped to her thigh that holds a knife, presumably fake. "I'm a monster hunter. You know, like if the Winchester's had a sister." Gemma nods her head slowly, "Riiight, gotcha."
I shake my head at them with a smirk playing on my lips, turning my attention to the mirror. I adjusted the frilled collar around my neck, hoping it wouldn't suffocate me too much during the night, followed by the thigh-high stockings, having the bells on my skirt jingle as I moved. "You think I should do some sort of clown makeup or just leave it with the smokey eye?" I asked, turning to Nick. "Nah," he shakes his head and takes a sip of his beer. "I think it's fine the way it is."
I shrugged, accepting his answer, and tightened the pigtails on my head one last time just as Riley made her way into the room. I gasped when I saw the orange tattered dress and burlap hood, adorned with Sam's stitched face. I was astonished at how good she looked. She wraps her arms around herself, trying to make herself small as a pink tinge formed on her cheeks. I knew she felt uncomfortable, completely stepping out of her comfort zone, but her costume really was amazing.
"Is it that bad?" she asks, digging the toe of her platformed boot into the carpet with uncertainty. "Girl, no! You look amazing!" I reassure her, motioning for her to spin around so I could get a full view. She obliges, hesitantly spinning and extending her arms out by her sides, the skirt of her dress swishing around her. She halts facing me, "Thanks, Stace," she giggles, the start of a confident smile spreading on her face.
"Alright bitches, now that we're all here," Gemma announces, gaining everyone's attention. She holds up her hand, clasped around a bundle of what appeared to be candy necklaces. "I have a little game for us to play tonight. Know how we've been fighting over where to go for our next Girl's Trip?" She asks, tossing each of us a string of candies with a sly smirk. I held the candy up in front of me, quickly realizing these weren't necklaces, but thongs. "Gem, what the fuck are you getting at?" I asked accusingly. She chortled as the rest of us girls exchanged wary glances, only imagining what she had in mind. "We're going to wear these tonight and see who can get rid of the candies the fastest. Winner gets to choose our destination," she winks, stepping into the G-string and sliding it underneath her skirt, completely disregarding Nicholas sitting behind her. "A-and how do you expect us to do that?" Riley asks timidly, the blush rearing her face again.
Gemma chuckles and makes her way over to Riley, taking the ties of the burlap hood between her thumb and index finger, and twiddling it. "C'mon Riles, use that brain of yours. You're gonna get each and every one of those boys at this party to take a nibble," she chomps the air playfully and tugs on the string to release the knot with a laugh. "Hey!" Riley gasps, throwing her hands on her head to stop the burlap sack from falling to the floor. "Not funny," she grumbles, situating the hood back in its original place. "I don't know, Gemma. That's a little... risque." "That's the whole point, Riles! Maybe you'll get lucky with Jolâ" "Shh!" Riley frantically covers Gemma's mouth and glances briefly at Nick, her face now beet red and eyes wide as saucers.
I exchanged a knowing look with Adeline, both of us snickering quietly. It was no secret that Riley had a thing for Jolly, always growing quiet and tucking herself behind one of us whenever he was in the room. And when he spoke to her? Forget it. It's like her brain short-circuits and she forgets how to speak, only able to laugh and play with the hem of her shirt. It was cute though, and I knew that a part of this game Gemma had planned was to break Riley out of her shell a bit.
With a shrug, I slipped out of my non edible underwear and tossed it into my hamper, replacing it with the candy thong. It was a little snug, and felt weird as the chalky beads rolled over my skin, but I was determined to get this off as quickly as possible. I was desperate to go to Hawaii.
Adeline steps into my bathroom to exchange her underwear, and Riley looks between the three of us when she returns, visibly shaking. She takes a deep breath and makes her way into my bathroom, doing the same as Adeline.
"Y'all are crazy," Nicholas comments with a chuckle and stands up, slipping his Michael Myers mask over his head. "Please, like you don't want to take a nibble," Gemma winks, bending slightly and wriggling her hips in his direction. I could just imagine the eye roll that was hidden by his mask as he silently sauntered through us, heading downstairs. "At least he's in character," I snorted, and we shared a laugh then trailed after him, ready for our night of fun as we descended the stairs.
Hitting the bottom step, I could just barely hear the doorbell over the music blasting through our home, the bass still vibrating through me. I made my way to the door, throwing it open to be met with a pair of dark eyes, covered slightly by shaggy bangs and shimmering from the strobe light behind me. I take in Noah's blood-stained white T-shirt and jeans as he holds a Ghostface mask in his right hand.
A smirk slowly spreads on his face as I stared for much longer than I should have, soaking in how fucking easy it was for him to look so good, and I could feel my face start to warm. Heat simmers low in my belly from the way he locks eyes with me and smolders at meâhe knew exactly what he was doing. Noah and I have been playing this cat-and-mouse game for months, both of us too stubborn to admit our feelings to one another regardless of how obvious it was.
I cleared my throat, "Billy Loomis, huh?" "How could you tell?" he chuckles. I rolled my eyes, "It's not like Scream isn't my favorite slasher or anything." He feigns surprise, his eyebrows rising. "Is that so?" he teases, that smirk finding his lips again. I remained silent while I watched his eyes trail up and down my body, taking in my Jester costume.
He slowly brings his eyes back to mine, lingering on my chest briefly. "So, you gonna let me in or am I supposed to party on the porch by myself all night?" "Right," I chuckled, opening the door wider, allowing him room to enter. "Welcome to the night circus, where you can be a freak on purpose," I shoot him a wink, waving my arm in a grand fashion. "Why thank you, Anastasia," he crosses through the threshold, the way he put emphasis on my name causing a shiver to roll down my spine. No one uses my full name.
His eyes never left mine as he brushed past me, the bells on my dress jingling as he ran a finger across the bottom of it. My heart pounds from the seduction in his eyes, his proximity, the anticipation of his fingers grazing my skin. I watched him disappear into the kitchen while the strobes gave the illusion that his body was lagging behind, leaving nothing but the fog swirling in his wake.
Huffing out a breath, I go to shut the door blindly, having a boot wedge between it and the frame. I looked up at the owner of said boot, belonging to Jolly, who stood there sporting a kind smile with fake blood dribbling down from the corner of his mouth. "Shit, sorry Jolly. I didn't see you there," I apologized with a grimace and stepped back to allow him inside. He laughs, and I catch a glimpse of the fake fangs settled on his teeth. "That's alright, I could see you were a bit preoccupied," he winks before making his way inside, trailing after Noah.
I felt my cheeks burn hot from embarrassment, and suddenly the collar around my neck was beginning to suffocate me. Shutting the door, I took a deep breath to recollect myself and calm my erratic heart. This was going to be an interesting night.
-
The night carried on, with dozens upon dozens of strangers funneling into our home. Half the pizza was gone, the kegs have been tapped, and I was feeling pretty good after a few drinks. I managed to get a couple bites taken from the candy G-string by said strangers, as did the others, but we appeared to still be neck-and-neck in our little competition.
Folio was running rampant around the house in his werewolf costume, sloshing beer in his wake, while Adeline and Noah were nowhere in sight. Riley had tucked herself in the corner of the living room, trying her best to make small talk with Jolly, who seemed very interested in what she had to say. And of course, Nicholas was taking advantage of his Michael Myers costume, sneaking up on people and scaring the shit out of them.
"Stacy!" I heard Gemma call my name as I snagged a slice of pizza. I turned towards her while taking a bite, perking an eyebrow up in questioning. "Come do a keg stand with me!" I rolled my eyes, swallowing the bite I took. "Let me finish my slice of pizza first, Gem. I haven't eaten all night!" She wasn't even paying attention to what I had to say, giggling as she skipped on over to the keg.
I followed after her, shaking my head with a chuckle as she threw herself onto Matt's back, who barely had time to register what was happening. He caught her just in time, nearly falling forward as he hooked her knees on his elbows, scolding her. "Matty," she laughs, "can you help me with the keg stand?" "If it gets you off my back, sure," he huffs. "I may be dressed as Goku, but I'm not a Super Saiyan, so you gotta find another person to help hold your drunk ass up." "Deal!" she lands a sloppy kiss on his cheek before sliding off his back, immediately waving me towards her.
I sighed and tossed my pizza onto the closest counter, knowing she would just keep pestering me until I obliged. Gemma takes hold of the handles and bends at the waist, beginning to hoist herself up by kicking her legs out. Matt and I exchanged looks and rolled our eyes at her impatience, both of us grasping a leg to steady her as she flipped upside down, her skirt falling and exposing the candy underwear.
"You ready?" Matt asks her, not even noticing that her ass was now exposed, and brings the spout to her mouth. She responds by giggling, taking the spout between her teeth. "Three, two, one... Go!" he counts down, opening the spigot and funneling beer to her.
It was messy at first as she continued to giggle, foam billowing from her lips, dripping into her hair and on top of the keg. After a moment, she stifles her hysterics and gets a better grasp on the spout, finally drinking it down as the room starts to count how long she could stay up.
"Gemma, what the fuck are you wearing?" Matt laughs just after the room counts to eight. I brought my attention to him; he finally noticed the edible underwear, unapologetically staring at her ass with a shit-eating grin spread across his face. Gemma starts to laugh, the spout falling from her mouth, which continues to pour beer all over the floor. Her arms buckle as she laughs harder, and she topples backward, landing straight on her back. She groans out in pain, only to erupt into another fit of giggles.
I snorted with amusement and shook my head at the sight before me, reaching for the spigot to close it. "Are you alright?" I asked her and promptly offered a hand to help her up. She accepts my hand and pulls herself up, stumbling to her feet. "Oh yeah, that was hilarious," she chuckles, turning her attention to Matt. "For your information, Matty, it's called candy underwear." "Right, but why are you wearing it?" She motions her head at me, "We're having a competitionâme, Stacy, Adeline, and Rileyâand for the life of us, we can't agree on where to go for vacation. So, like the genius that I am, I decided whoever can get all the candy bitten off by the end of the night, wins."
He barks out a laugh, shaking his head. "That is the stupidest shit you've ever come up with, Gem." He grabs a solo cup and starts to fill it with beer from the keg, "Where is it that you guys want to go that you can't agree on something?" I mimic his actions, filling my own cup. "I wanna go to Hawaii," I shrugged, followed by taking a sip of my beer. "Riley wants to go to the Bahamas, I think Addy wants to go to Niagara Falls." "What about you, Gem?" Matt asks, pointing his cup in her direction. "Las Vegas!" she shouts.
He nods slowly and takes a long sip of his drink, mulling over our answers. With the hand that was holding the solo cup, he points a finger at me and gives me a quick head nod. "Bend over, I'm taking a bite." "Excuse me?" I folded my arms over my chest, quirking an eyebrow at him. "Hawaii is the best option in my opinion," he shrugs, putting his cup down and closing the gap between us.
He sidles up behind me, lifting the skirt of my dress on his own as he crouches. I shiver from the feeling of his warm breath on my backside as he brings the candy into his mouth, his lips brushing against my skin. I could feel him pull on the string as he fought with it to break the candy, having it snap back into place when he successfully took what felt like a big chunk off. I glanced at Gemma with wide eyes, not expecting this from Matt, and she did not seem amused by any means.
"You better fucking win this shit, Stace," he mumbles and stands up, chewing on the candy. "That's the whole idea, Matt," I winked at him, tugging my dress back into place before returning to my pizza waiting for me on the counter. Gemma scoffs, "What about me? That doesn't seem very fair." "You said it yourself, Gem. It's a competition," Matt retorts. "One of you has to win, and none of you will if I take a bite off each of your asses." Her mouth drops open, appalled by his words, and she quickly exits the room with an exasperated exhale.
"Drama queen," he snickers as he washes down the sweets with a pull of his beer. "The other guys know about this?" "Nick does, not sure if the others caught wind or not. A few strangers were brave enough to take a nibble or two," I chuckled. "Well then, carry on. The night is still young." He bumps his cup with mine in cheers before trailing after Gemma.
With a shrug, I did just so and topped off my cup before heading into the living room. The air in the room was sticky from all the heat radiating off people's bodies, everyone practically shoulder to shoulder as they danced and drank whatever they had in their hands. I take a large pull of my drink, starting my journey through the sea of people until I lock eyes with those same alluring eyes from earlier in the night.
Noah stands there, leaning against the wall opposite of me with his arms folded over his chest. A smirk begins to spread across his face when he sees that he has my undivided attention, and my heart leaps into my throat from how long he holds my gaze. He only breaks eye contact when Nick sidles up beside him, lifting his mask to speak to Noah.
I take another sip of my drink, hoping to swallow my heart back where it belongs but to no avail. Whatever Nick had said to Noah only made his smirk grow, his eyes flickering back to me as he pushed off the wall and began to cut through the crowd towards me.
What the fuck did Nick say to him?
I straighten my posture as he stands in front of me, trying to give the impression that I wasn't beginning to crumble underneath his devious presence. He leans towards me, bringing his mouth so close to my ear that I can feel his breath ghost by it, a chill running down my spine. "Come with me," he says lowly, his tone immediately spreading warmth to my core.
He brushes past me, this time his fingers grazing against my thigh, and my breath gets caught in my throat. Taking another gulp of my beer, I followed him out of the living room and down the hallway that passed by the kitchen. He halts when we're away from the crowd, leaning up against the wall again with the same smirk on his face from moments before. He doesn't say anything, just stares at me.
Now annoyed by his silence, I crossed my arms over my chest. "Why did you bring me here, Noah?" "Like you don't know," he chuckles. I squint my eyes at him, "What are you getting at?" He hums with amusement, pushing himself off the wall, and stalks towards me again, this time brandishing a knife. My eyes grow wide and I back against the wall, my heart pounding as panic starts to wash over me.
He snorts, lowering his hand. "Relax, it's fake. I'm just trying to stay in character. You know, Billy Loomis and all." I huffed, "That wasn't funny." "Mmm, was pretty funny to me. Shoulda seen your face." "Fuck you, Noah," I let out a breathy laugh. "So, you gonna tell me what's going on or can I go back to the party?" He takes another step towards me, tipping my head up with the blade of the plastic knife under my chin. I remained calm this time, knowing it was fake, and stared up at him as I waited for an answer. "A little birdy told me there's a competition between you girls. Is that true?"
So, that's what Nick told him.
"That is true," I confirmed. "And does it involve candy underwear, or was that a lie?" My throat goes dry; I swallow as my heart begins to pound again. "Y-yes," I stammered. "Interesting," he muses, tracing the blade leisurely down my throat. "I love candy necklaces; it's the same candy, right?" I nodded shallowly. "I may have to partake in this competition then if you'll allow it." I take a deep breath in as he continues to skim the knife across my breasts, dragging it down the front of my dress. I lost my voice while my reply swirled round and round in my head, dizzying me as I saw his eyes darken with mischief while he scrutinized my every move.
The knife reaches the middle of my thigh, and he changes direction, slipping it under my dress. He inches it back up my thigh, bringing the heat in my stomach to a simmer as it neared my center. I squeeze my legs together when he slides it between them, and he chuckles. "I'll take that as a no," he says, retracting the knife. "No, you may," I breathed. "Maybe without the knife, though." "Fair enough." He agrees, tucking it into his back pocket.
He lowers himself to his knees, leering up at me with hunger in his eyes as he fists the bottom of my dress. "May I?" I gave a quick nod and held my breath as his head disappeared under the skirt. He wastes no time at all; I can feel the tug against the strings as he takes a section of the beads into his mouth, his warm breath caressing my mound. I chomp down on my lip to hold back the mewl that wanted to escape me from the sensation.
The thong snaps back into place when he successfully takes a bite, causing me to jump slightly. I heard him chuckle, but he didn't pull back. Instead, he takes another mouthful, this time sucking them into his mouth rather than taking them in between his teeth. His lips brush against me ever-so-slightly, my body reacting to the closeness by clenching around nothing.
Fuck. This was turning me on way too fucking much.
"Noah," I warned. "I-I think you've had enough." He releases the candy, and they snap back against me, once again causing me to buck my hips forward. The sweets were now sticky from his saliva, the underwear even more uncomfortable now as the beads stick against my skin. His face emerges from my skirt, and he looks up at me through the dark bangs covering his eyes, licking his lips slowly. "Sorry, I just really like candy necklaces. Let me take one last bite."
He doesn't even wait for me to respond, heading back to where he just was. "No-waaah," I began to scold him for his behavior, only to be interrupted by the moan he elicited from me. He had slipped his tongue through the strings, padding it against my clit while he pulled on another mouthful of candies. "That bite tasted really good." He chuckles deviously, the vibration buzzing through me and sending another tingle through my middle.
He moves back, looking up at me with that same sly smirk he's been brandishing all night. "I really wanna eat it all. And I don't just mean the candy." Heat rises up my neck and across my face from his words, and my clit throbs just from the thought of him devouring every last bead before devouring me. I clenched my thighs together, trying to get some friction where I wanted it the most as I eagerly waited for him to touch me again.
"I know you want to win this competition, Anastasia," he mutters sardonically. "Why don't you let me help?" I swallowed harshly, giving him a quick nod. "Come with me," he coos, taking my hand as he stands, and brings me into the closest room.
It felt wrong as he shut the door to Riley's bedroom and locked it, and even worse when he shoved me playfully onto her bed. The feeling of guilt quickly diminishes, melting into desire as he slowly clambers onto the bed, settling between my legs. He bunches my dress up, exposing the edible underwear once again, lowering himself until his mouth was only a mere centimeter away from it.
He takes one single bead between his teeth, breaking it off and chewing it, all while staring up at me with fire burning in his eyes. He does it again, and again, his mouth dangerously close to my clit, until I couldn't handle him teasing me any longer. "Noah," I whined, wriggling my hips in front of him eagerly. "Please." "Ah, ah," he scolds, "you gotta wait until all of this candy is gone." He laughs when I let out an aggravated huff, taking another mouthful of the candy and sucking on it.
"Tastes so good," he moans out. "The candy is sweet, but your arousal makes it even sweeter," he muses, letting the moist candies fall from his mouth, slapping against my clit. I whimpered and bucked my hips forward, having him take the same candies back in his mouth and finally break them off. I breathed deep with anticipation, my chest heaving as I watched him lazily chew the sweets, his eyes boring into mine with animosity. "Hm," his eyes fall back to the thong, a satisfied grin grazing his lips. "Would you look at that, all the candies are gone. All there is left to eat is..." His eyes flicker back to mine, the smile only growing on his face. "You."
I pulled my bottom lip into my mouth, biting down with a bruising force while he brought his mouth down to me. He pushes the strings aside, never breaking eye contact as he runs his tongue along my soaked folds agonizingly slow, the look alone shaking me to the core. He takes his time, savoring me as he casually licks his way up to my clit, lolling the tip of his tongue around the sensitive bud.
"Fuck," I whispered, and my head falls back against the mattress. My eyes fluttered shut when he applied a bit more pressure to my clit, still moving in slow circles. I moaned lightly when he entered a finger inside of me, and then another seconds later. He unhurriedly curls them upwards, just barely pressing against that sweet spot as he carries on.
"Look at me," he mumbles against me. I don't moveâI can't, not with the way he's paralyzing me, spreading bliss through my entire body with just his two fingers and tongue. "Anastasia," he says sternly, retracting his fingers. "I wanna watch those pretty eyes of yours roll to the back of your head when I make you come." I whimpered from the unwanted emptiness, once again clenching around nothing as I craved to be filled again. Knowing he wouldn't continue until I obliged due to his stubbornness, I had no choice but to pick my head up and look at him.
"Good girl," he chuckles lowly, his eyes glimmering with fervor. He rewards me by sliding his long fingers inside of me, thrusting them with urgency. It took every fiber of my being to not throw my head back down and cry out, knowing he would stop if I were to do that. He lowers his mouth down to me, working his tongue around my awaiting clit strategically, quickly building up my climax.
My legs start to tremble, my hips involuntarily lifting off the mattress to press my cunt harder against his tongue. "That's it," he moans against me, the bass in his voice vibrating through me. "Let go, Anastasia." His eyes darken as he continues to leer up at me, grazing his teeth against my clit before encasing it with his lips, sucking on it. His fingers continued to curl against my walls feverishly, beckoning me to come undone, his eyes commanding me to fall apart under his control.
The pressure continued to climb with each stroke against my G-spot, and I knew by the curl of his lips that he could tell I was close. The more my body trembled beneath him, the more he concentrated on his actions, watching the way my body reacted to him.
The spool finally springs loose inside of me, my hands fisting the sheets as I cried out from the ecstasy coursing through me. My eyes wrench shut, my body quakes uncontrollably, and he continues to carry me through my high, his actions relentless. He laps up every last drop of my orgasm with a breathy laugh, his hands pressed against my thighs to hold my legs open, not finished with me just yet.
He only stops when I go limp, collapsing against the sheets, and my chest heaves as I try to catch the breath that he knocked out of me. As I lay here, nearly comatose, I felt him pull on the strings of the candy thong one last time, only I didn't feel them snap back into place. âThat oughta do it," he says confidently. I lift my head to look at him; the plastic knife is in his hand again, and the strings of the edible underwear are dangling off the blade.
I threw my head back and laughedâlooks like Iâm going to Hawaii.

Chapter 1
Rileyâs POV:
I was in a surprisingly peaceful sleep when I felt soft fur against my face then the gentle nudge and lick. Itâs the morning ritual Iâve grown accustomed to. âGood morning, Hades.â I groggily say to my three-year-old black German Shepherd who has oh so rudely decided itâs time to get up.
I roll over rubbing the sleep from my eyes to see the soft glow of the morning light filtering in through my window. Picking my phone up from the nightstand it reads 7:26 am October 13th. Sighing, I swing my feet to the edge of my bed and proceed to start our normal morning routines.
A short time later I step out onto my back deck to let Hades do his business, my hands wrapped around a steaming cup of coffee. Iâm immediately hit with a warm breeze and realize just how comfortable it feels. Pulling my phone from the pocket of my pajama pants, I check the weather app where it predicts it to be an exceptionally warm day. Luckily, itâs one of my days off from my boring, dead-end customer service job. Itâs been a major stressor for me lately and Iâm ecstatic to avoid that hell hole even if just for today.
I mindlessly scroll random apps as I sip my coffee, enjoying the sunâs rays on my pale skin as my boy gets all his overnight zoomies out. Just as I sip the last of the coffee from my mug, he comes running back up sitting beside me, tongue out, panting. âHey, handsome boy of mine. I know we usually take walks around the neighborhood on my days off but howâd you like to go to the park instead?â I ask, scratching behind his ear, getting only a gruff woof and tail wag in agreement. âPerfect!â I exclaim before we walk back inside.
I spend a few hours working around the house tidying a bit and starting some laundry while singing (ok more like screaming) and dancing around the cozy bungalow I call my home, all while the songs boom through the Bluetooth speakers. Hades tilted his head or huffed at me occasionally from his oversized dog bed in the living room. âYou know you love it!â I tease as I pass by, stopping to give him a few good belly scratches.
I quickly shower before stepping out into the steamy bathroom, grabbing one of my oversized towels from the rack and wrapping it around my small frame. I pull my paddle brush through the tangles that are my shoulder-length black hair, then twist another towel around it, pushing it onto the top of my head and retreating to my room. I fall back onto my queen bed, my arms spreading as I lean back, and stay that way for a while, closing my eyes and preparing myself to venture out.
Eventually, I push myself up and go over to my dresser. I pull out a black thong and lace bralette then a pair of black leggings and my go-to comfy, faded, grey Guns Nâ Roses shirt Iâve cut into a crop top. After getting dressed, I return to the bathroom to pull my hair into a low loose ponytail, leaving a few strands out to frame my face. I stare at myself in the mirror above my sink, sighing at the sight but I donât bother putting on makeup. Iâm too tired to care and itâs not like Iâm out to impress anyone. Dropping my gaze, I push myself away from the counter and head back towards the kitchen to prepare everything Hades and I will need for the park.
Half an hour later weâre pulling into my favorite park. I reach back to clip on Hadesâ leash, grab my crossbody bag from the passenger floorboard, and then exit the SUV. We stop to grab the blanket from the back hatch of my grey 2010 Nissan Xterra before making our way down the sidewalk.
As expected, the park was alive with the sounds of nature and people out enjoying the weather. It took us a few minutes, but we managed to find a nice shady spot under a tall oak tree thatâs adjacent to the large field where people lounge and play. I release Hades and tell him to stay as I work to spread out my black and white buffalo plaid blanket and begin unpacking for a relaxing afternoon.
It didnât take long before we got comfortable. I lay on my stomach, my legs bent at the knee, casually swinging back and forth through the air. Iâve got my sticker-covered tumbler and a Tupperware full of fresh-cut fruit (ok mostly strawberries) on one side of me. A book was spread in front of me, my eyes skimming over the pages from behind my oversized sunglasses. Hades had posted up near the edge of the blanket on my other side as he went to town on his large red Kong toy, his travel bowl full of water next to him.
Iâd lost track of time, completely caught up in my reading, most of my fruit picked over and eaten. Hades had long given up on his toy and was almost asleep when suddenly he perked up giving a slight huff. Figuring he saw a squirrel or something, I failed to see the large shadow pass over me as a sudden pain shoots into the left side of my ribs and something heavy fell over top of me, Hades darting away from his position. Whatever it is landed with a thud in front of Hades, water splashing everywhere in the process. I quickly began to shake the water from the pages of my book before any damage could be done.
âOuch! What the fuâŠâ I begin to exclaim, but my words come up short as my eyes fall onto this dazed, dark-haired man lying across me and my blanket.
He slowly pushes himself up onto his elbows, putting his shirtless and heavily tattooed chest on full display, droplets of water sliding down and glistening in the afternoon light. I thank God for these sunglasses hiding my eyes as I gawk at this strangerâs toned body. I shake my head and slowly take in the scene, realizing his long legs are still stretched across my back and one of his elbows rests halfway in Hadesâ water bowl.
Eventually, my eyes make it back to his face where Iâm greeted with a strong, sharp jawline peppered with the beginnings of some facial hair and mesmerizing deep chocolate-brown eyes. Iâm brought back to reality when Hades is suddenly at the manâs side dropping a frisbee I hadnât even noticed onto his lap. I canât help but let out a laugh at the situation and the fact I was letting myself get lost in this strangerâs looks, no matter how handsome he may be. âI think Hades is returning your frisbee to you.â I state matter of factly. Despite his size and intimidating looks, he was quite a gentle giant. Thanks a lot bud, so much for protecting me.
Noahâs POV:
I have no idea what happened, but one second I was running full speed and the next I found myself lying flat on my back staring at the brightly colored tree canopy above me.
I let out a groan and begin to push myself up onto my elbows. Feeling something wet on one of my arms, I look over to see my elbow in a water bowl. I begin taking in the rest of my surroundings and find Iâm on someoneâs picnic blanket. Just then I see something dark in my peripheral vision and the frisbee Iâd been running to catch drops in my lap.
I hear a feminine laugh as my eyes dart up, noticing my legs are laid across the back of a petite raven-haired woman who had been stretched out on said blanket. I hear her words as I look down to the frisbee in my lap, then to the big furry black mass standing to my right. That must be whose water bowl my elbow is resting in.
I hurriedly remove my legs and scramble to my knees, the frisbee falling from my lap while putting my hands up in case this dog decides to attack. Again, I hear the sound of her laughter drawing my eyes to her full, slightly red tinted lips. Slowly she sits up crisscrossing her legs in front of her, her crop top riding up a little to reveal a tattoo on her side as she rubs at her ribs. A few more are sprinkled on her arms.
âDonât worry, he may look ferocious, but heâs really a big baby.â With the motion of her free hand I watch as the large dog returns to the girlâs side and lays against her, eyes closing, tongue out as he soaks up her head pats.
I breathe out a sigh of relief as I sit back on my heels and brush my hands down my star covered sweat shorts nervously and let out a slight chuckle. âGood to know, cause I was about to high tail it out of here and hopeâHades was it?âdidnât catch me!â I respond. âHey, sorry about all of this, though.â I start as I wave my hand around us.
She lifts her sunglasses revealing stunning icy blue/grey almond-shaped eyes as she takes in the now wet and twisted blanket. Sucking in a breath I try to offer, âMy buddies and I were just tossing the frisbee around and I guess I let my competitive nature get the best of me. I wasnât paying attention, and you see where that got me.â
As if on cue my friends, Jolly and Nick, come jogging over taking in the scene and thankfully ending my nervous rant. âWhat you mean on the ground beside a pretty lady?â Nick waggles his eyebrows as he smirks before asking, âAre you two good?â
Jolly jumped in with, âThat looked like quite a fall, man.â
I chuckle lightly before I answer, âYeah Iâm good, but Iâll probably feel it in the morning.â I clear my throat a little remembering the stunning girl and her dog sitting across from me. âUmm are you okayâŠ?â I ask, pausing since I donât know her name.
Picking up on the pause she answers, âRiley. Yeah, I think Iâll be okay. Might have a bruise in the next couple of days but Iâll deal.â
A pang of guilt washes over me for hurting her but I give a crooked smile. âIâm Noah, these are my friends Jolly and Folio,â I say pointing to each of the guys.
She nods her head slightly at each of the guys, giving a polite smile and wave. It suddenly becomes abundantly clear we are invading her space, as the awkward silence grows between us all. I move to stand tucking the frisbee under my arm and giving the guys a nod, each taking a few steps back in understanding, Jolly looking over his shoulder to find where our roommates dog, Harper, is playing. âWe should probably leave you be, you seemed to have been enjoying your reading when I tripped over you.â I say as I glance down at the abandoned book laid out on the blanket.
Shrugging, she responds with, âI was but Iâd lost track of time, and we actually need to be heading out.â With that she stands, Hades whining slightly, and begins picking up her belongings and packing them back into her bag.
I look down at the mess Iâve made of her space, everything scattered about, so I quickly lean down, picking up her book. I offer it to her as I ask âAre you sure youâre alright? Can I help you carry anything?â
She takes the book, my eyes drawn to where she chews on her lip, thinking it over. After some hesitation Riley nods. âYou really donât have to, but I might need a hand with the blanket. I can never get them folded up easily on my own, and Iâve got to be able to hold his leash as we walk.â She motions over to Hades who tilts his head sideways at the mention of leash.
With a small chuckle I call out a âheads up!â to Folio, whoâs now walking away with Jolly before tossing him the frisbee and reaching to pick up the blanket. I shake it out then do my best to fold it before draping it over my arm as she picks up her remaining belongings.
After a moment and her commands to Hades, we walk back towards the parking lot in another slightly awkward silence. Coming to a stop at the back of an Xterra, she starts digging for her keys and unlocks the doors. She takes Hades to the back passenger door allowing him to jump inside before unhooking his leash and telling him to stay then returning to the back where I stand.
âThank you for helping with that and walking me back.â She says, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear and staring down at the asphalt before taking the blanket and placing it in the back hatch.
âNo problem. It was the least I could do after crashing into you like I did.â I shrug, earning a small, cute giggle from her.
After another moment of silence she shifts on her feet, bringing her eyes up to meet mine and extending her hand before saying with a playful tone, âWell, it was nice to meet you Noah, wish I could say it was under better circumstances though.â
I take her hand, noticing just how small it feels in mine before lightly shaking it and saying, âYou too Riley.â With that I drop her hand and move to the sidewalk as she walks to her driverâs door. Turning back, I give a salute as she starts the SUV and I head back to the guys.
The moment I walk up, Folio raises his eyebrow asking, âWhat was that all about Casanova?â
I shrug running my hand through my shoulder-length hair. âI donât know what youâre talking about.â They both let out a laugh.
Itâs Jollyâs turn to pipe up now, his slight Swedish accent coming through. âBullshit Noah, youâve still got a goofy grin plastered on your face and the way you were looking at her⊠itâs obvious you thought she was attractive.â
Folio chimes in again, âTell us you at least got her numberâŠâ
I donât bother responding before grabbing the frisbee out of his hands and jogging away. I silently kick myself for not thinking about that. We stay for another hour or so before leaving, my mind wandering to Riley quite often through the night.
P.S. I don't own the rights to any of these photos, they were all found on Pinterest or a Google image search.
I hope you enjoyed this. It's been quite a while since I even tried writing something for others to read so sorry if it's not up to your standards. It may start out slow but I promise there's some good things to come.
Huge shout out to @crimson-calligraphyx for encouraging and helping me with this.

Star crossed 3x3 !!
hi! thank you for asking! here is a few lines I just wrote for my upcoming chapter of Star-Crossed Connection
âThese are perfect, he is going to look so hot,â I say finishing up and choosing a few more accessories from the table. I grab several rings, necklaces and a few different bags. âSo things are getting serious between you and this new guy?â Lala asks and I put on my sweetest lovesick smile, âOh yeah, heâs great. The perfect guy for me. Nothing like the egomaniac actors I usually date. Heâs so real.â I answer, fighting the internal ripple of shame that overwhelms me. Folio and I have been texting back and forth since our paparazzi fiasco and he really is a nice guy. And Iâm a massive asshole for using him like this.

"What the fuck, Noah, can you stop that, please,â you lash out, unable to handle the way heâs absorbing your very existence.
The table falls silent as both pairs of eyes fall on you.
Noah grins, shyly looking away for a moment before turning his attention back to you.
âStop what?â He lays both hands out on the table in front of him, the tops of them and his long fingers on full display. Youâve always had a thing for Noahâs hands, his tattoos especially, which is why it was so tempting for you to lean over and study them. Noah knows this. The smirk covering his lips was a dead giveaway.
âStop looking at me like that,â you order.
Noah scoffs, glancing down at his lap for a moment. When he raises his head, the hair that falls over his eyes delivers a strong blow to the defensive walls youâve put up in the last hour.
âLike what, Princess?â he taunts. âHow Iâm looking at you?â
Noahâs pet name for you sends a chill down your spine. Heâs teasing you, purposely getting on that last nerve of yours and hoping to get a rise out of you. Itâs like heâs playing a childish game, hoping youâll give in and give up.
You roll your eyes and bury your face in the crook of Folioâs neck, inhaling his intoxicating scent that always seems to calm you down, lacing your fingers through his.
He can tell by the way you grip his hand that youâre upset, but with a few whispers against your ear, he tells you to play along for a little bit, just to see how far Noahâs willing to go. You look at Nick like heâs just lost his mind, but heâs actually serious. The nervous butterflies in your stomach begin to flutter over your lack of confidence to play along. Noah may irritate you, but his entire demeanor honestly terrifies you sometimes. But you trust Folio.
âStop looking at me like you want to eat me or something,â
It comes out more aggressive than you mean for it to, and when Noahâs expression goes blank, your body goes rigid.
But you keep eye contact with him, challenging him, possibly at his own game.
âWell,â he finally says, tapping his fingers on the table and glancing over at Folio as a wide smile spreads across his face
âMaybe Iâm hungry, Princess.â turning his sight back on you with a raised eyebrow. His face is dead serious and that terrifies you in the most god awful, sensual way possible. You frown, shaking your head as your heart hammers in your chest.
âSeriously, Noah, really?â
You glare at him, annoyed that heâs pulling you along this rabbit trail, making you chase the breadcrumbs of desperation for him, only so that he can make you feel like a horrible person in the end.
âWhat? You have a problem with me being hungry?â
Noahâs smugness is bold, a side of him youâve seen, but have never experienced. And the fact that heâs behaving this way with Folio right next to you is a little disarming. But Nick doesnât seem to be bothered by anything Noahâs saying, probably because he knows Noahâs words aren't anything but empty threats.
You catch Folio's grin as he looks over at Noah, almost in the same manner Noah looked at him a bit ago. Something is going on between the two of them, and you don't like it.
âWhat is going on with you two? Youâre acting really weird, and Iâm not sure how I feel about it.â Your eyes dart between the two of them as you hold your breath, waiting for them to answer. FInally, Noah shrugs and stands up, shoving his hands deep into the pockets of his hoodie. âI donât know what you mean, Princess. Thereâs nothing going on.â He winks at you, throwing out a smile that makes you swallow the lump in your throat, and walks out of the restaurant just like that. A few seconds later, your phone vibrates against your leg. You pull it from your pocket to find the message is from Noah. Sighing, you open it, and instantly, your heart starts to pound as you forget to take a breath. The only thing he sent was a picture of his black ski mask with the words âDo You Want To Play A Game With Me, Princessâ written across the bottom.

Limoncello - Chapter 12
Pairings: Nick Folio x OFC, Bad Omens x OFC
Warnings: Talk of injuries, tears, fluff
Word Count: 1.6k
Series Masterlist
A/N: Hello! Thank you so much for reading Limoncello! This is the last chapter and it means so much to me that you've stuck through this whole thing! If you enjoyed this story, keep an eye out for an announcement coming soon.
âI want to find your smile in the epilogue.â - Ghost Atlas, Tomato Red
For two weeks after the attack, Nick and Maeve were inseparable. Thankfully, Maeve was able to get someone out to fix her window the day after it had been shattered. Nick stayed by her side the entire day as it was repaired. She didnât speak much that day, exhausted and shocked from the events the night before. Throughout the day, they occasionally talked to the window repair team as needed. When they werenât doing that, Nick was watching Maeve as she tried to figure out the most efficient way to cover the large bruise spanning across her neck. She tried for hours to cover it with makeup, Nick around for support and encouragement. She ended up crying in Nickâs arms when she couldnât cover it fully with makeup. Nick held her as she sobbed into his chest, rubbing her back and kissing her head. When she stopped crying, she was able to find a white linen scarf buried deep in her closet that she ended up wearing around her neck for a week until the bruise faded.Â
They slept at Maeveâs house that night. No funny business. They just talked about anything that would distract her from the soreness of the knot on her head and the bruise on her neck; anything to distract from thinking about the previous dayâs events. They spent every night together, switching between her house and his house with the guys depending on when the band had practice. When they did have practice, Maeve sat in the garage, perched pretty on a stool with earplugs in, watching and listening, with her delicate linen scarf tied loosely around her neck.Â
By the second week, the bruise on her neck had faded into nothing and the knot on her head was no longer. It was a celebratory occasion in Maeveâs eyes when she didnât have to put the scarf on. She walked out of the bathroom after getting ready for the day to see Nick sitting on the bed, on his phone, waiting patiently for her. âHey,â she said softly, holding back a smile.Â
âHey,â he chirped, looking up from his phone. âNo scarf today?â he asked, an eyebrow raised as he smiled at her.Â
She allowed herself to smile. âNo scarf!â She beamed. She strode over to him and plopped down onto his lap. âThe bruise is, like, gone.âÂ
He instinctively wrapped his arms around her waist and his small smile turned into his signature, goofy grin. âI think that calls for a celebration, donât you?â
âYou read my mind,â she giggled. She leaned in and pressed a kiss to his lips. She laughed a bit when she pulled back and noticed the shiny, slightly glittery, pink tint from her lip gloss had transferred onto his lips.
âLet me take you to breakfast,â Nick murmured, pecking her lips again.Â
And thatâs what they did. They had a date every day that week, even on the days when the band had practice. He made the time. By the end of that second week, heâd fallen even more for Maeve than he thought possible. He was happy. He wanted to hold onto that happiness for as long as possible.
âIâm gonna ask her if we can make it official,â Nick said to Noah as he watched Maeve tend to her flower beds through the kitchen window.Â
Noah chuckled, âYou arenât already?â
Nick glanced over at Noah and shrugged. âI mean, no? Not technically,â he sighed. âI just- I want to be with her. She makes me really happy. I hope I do that for her too.âÂ
Noah clapped Nick on the back. âFolio, if youâre worried sheâs gonna say no, I don't think you have anything to worry about.âÂ
âI hope youâre right,â Nick stared out the window once more.Â
âI know Iâm right,â Noah said, following Nickâs gaze. âHow are you gonna ask her?â
Nick shrugged once more. âIâm not sure,â he hummed. âI just know it has to be special, though. She deserves that.âÂ
âIf you need help coming up with something, Iâll call a band meeting,â Noah suggested. âWeâd be happy to help. I mean, weâve been routing for you two since you two shook hands when she came over to introduce herself.âÂ
Nick furrowed his eyebrows and glanced over at him, âReally?â
âYup,â Noah nodded. âLove at first sight if Iâve ever seen it.â
Nick suppressed a smile as he looked back out the window. âRight, okay.âÂ
âDude youâve literally got heart eyes watching her pull fuckinâ weeds,â Noah laughed and rolled his eyes. âWant me to call that meeting?â
âYeah,â Nick murmured. âPlease do.âÂ
A plan was in place after a quick band meeting. Nick wanted to carry it out as soon as he possibly could. He couldnât wait. Immediately after the meeting he got ready and left to go run some errands, while the guys kept an eye on Maeve. It took Nick until the late afternoon to get back with everything he needed. Nicholas walked outside after hearing his truck pull in.Â
âNeed help with anything?â He asked, walking over to Nick as he stepped out of the truck.Â
âYeah, just grab some bags and help me take them to the backyard,â Nick said. âWhere is everyone?â
âJolly and Noah are learning how to make limoncello across the street,â Nicholas chuckled.
âPerfect,â He breathed.Â
They unloaded the truck pretty quickly and got to work decorating the backyard. When they got done it looked like something straight out of a disney movie. There were soft, glowy fairy lights on every surface they could put them on. There were flower petals scattered all over the patio floor. A beautiful bouquet of sunflowers and greenery wrapped in brown paper sat on the patio table.
âYo, whatâs this?â Nicholas questioned, picking up a small, dark green, velvet jewelry box. âYouâre not fuckinâ proposing already, are you?â
Nick turned to him with wide eyes. âOh, no way dude,â he said quickly. âItâs a necklace.â
Nicholas let out a sigh of relief as he opened it. It was a thin gold chain with a dainty letter âFâ hanging from it. âF for Folio?â he asked, glancing up again.Â
âF for Folio,â Nick repeated in confirmation. âIâve heard that some girls dig wearing their guyâs initials. Letâs hope I got that right.â He let out a shaky sigh.Â
Nicholas set the box down next to the bouquet where it had previously been. âHey man,â he clapped his shoulder. âYouâve got this.â
âThanks,â he sighed.Â
Jolly and Noah were helping Maeve clean up the kitchen when Jollyâs phone pinged. He dried his hands to check it and then cleared his throat. âMaeve,â he said looking up from his phone. âFolioâs home if you wanna go see him.â
She set down the cutting board that she had been washing and quickly dried her hands. âLetâs go, then. These can wait,â she motioned to the dishes in the sink. She quickly made her way to the front door, Noah and Jolly close behind. When they were all outside, she locked the door and they all went across the street. Maeve was the first one inside. She hadnât seen Nick all day, and to say she was excited to see him was an understatement.Â
âHey,â Nicholas greeted from the couch upon seeing her. âFolioâs in the backyard.âÂ
âThanks!â She chirped before walking to the back door.Â
She opened the back door and stepped outside. Her eyes widened and her jaw went slack when she processed the scene around her. Her eyes finally landed on Nick, holding the bouquet of sunflowers. âWhatâs all this?â she asked, her voice quiet and awe stricken.Â
He walked up to her and handed her the flowers. âThese are for you.âÂ
She took them from him and smiled. âTheyâre beautiful,â she whispered. âBut really, whatâs all this for?â
He reached up and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. âI wanted to ask you something.â
Her breath hitched as she stared at him. âAsk away.â
He took a deep breath, looking into her eyes. âCan I be your boyfriend?â
Maeveâs smile grew to the point where her cheeks started to hurt and her eyes crinkled. âUm, absolutely,â she giggled, it was nearly a squeal. She threw her arms around his neck, still holding the flowers, and pressed her lips to his.Â
Nick couldnât help but smile into the kiss. In fact, he kept breaking the kiss because he couldnât stop smiling. The kiss was slow, sweet, joyful, and so loving.Â
âI have one more thing for you,â Nick grinned when they finally pulled away from each other. He reached into his back pocket, pulled out the green box, and flipped it open to show her.Â
Maeve felt her eyes well up with tears. âNick, thatâs beautiful,â she whispered. She looked up at him, âF for Folio?â
He nodded, that huge goofy grin adorning his face. âYeah, doll. Do you like it?â
âI love it,â she sniffled. âWill you put it on me?â
He chuckled, âOf course, baby.â He lifted the necklace out of the box and set the box to the side. He walked behind her and moved her hair to the side so that he could put the necklace on her. Once he fastened the clasp, he stepped back in front of her. âWow,â he whispered. âThat sits perfectly.âÂ
Maeve set the flowers down and wrapped her arms around Nick, hugging him tightly. âThis is the sweetest thing anyoneâs ever done for me,â she sniffled into his chest. âThank you.âÂ
Nick hugged her tightly, as if she would disappear if he didnât keep hold of her. âYouâre worth it,â he murmured into her hair. And he meant it. She was so fucking worth it.Â

Sweep Me Off My Feet
Noah Sebastian x Reader
A/N: this was an anon request - I hope I did you proud! âReader and him are bffs and she gets really depressed staying alone during the shutdown, so Noah picks her up and she ends up living with him during it all. So everyone else in the band quickly realizes that they are more than besties, just in the way they act with each other.â
42 days into this âlockdownâ, you think. 42 days since it was all over the news, âstay in your house, donât leave unless it's for a medical reason. Blah blah blahâ. The panic has started to subside, people are somewhat used to the idea now, despite how upsidedown the world is seeming. The days were just so long, and the nights seemed to drag on forever. There wasnât really an end in sight, just more and more delays of the inevitable. âLockdown extended another weekâŠmonth⊠the rest of our livesâ.
There was only one thing helping you get through this, and that was Noah. He would be the one who always answered the phone, answered the messages, sent you hilarious videos or photos of himself. It was this connection that was what was stopping you from going insane.
Your house was otherwise empty. You lived on your own, along with your dying house plants. A blanket of darkness was getting ever so comfortable to live in, and it was becoming dangerous. You would go days without showering, the house was a mess, and the food you were eating could barely even be called edible.
It was 4pm, and you still hadnât left the couch. Staring mind-numbingly at the TV as a show that auto-played in front of you. It was like your brain was paralyzing you, stopping from being alive. Instead, just existing; taking up space.
The only light in the room came from the TV as figures from an unknown show ran about their lives. The curtains were shut and all the doors and windows closed. A sudden brrrrrrrr from your phone drew you out of the shroud you were in, the phone screen lighting up with a new message.
Noah: Have you drank any water today?
You scoff. Was this man stalking you?
You reply: since when are you tracking my vitals?
You stand, bones creaking and cracking as you finally show some sign of life, and then saunter over to the kitchen. A cup that looks relatively clean sits by the sink, so you fill it up with water and drink it as quickly as you can.
Your phone lights up again.
Noah: You just drank some, didnât you?
Your response? Nothing. He knows heâs right. You wonât even need to say anything.
Noah: knew it.
You: shut up.
You look down at your phone, and then around at the house. It was embarrassing. The smell was suddenly becoming apparent, and it was a concoction of body sweat, dampness and something else that might have been the dead plant.
You sigh. Knowing this wasnât any way to live. Leaving the TV playing, you walk upstairs and to the bathroom, twisting the handles in the shower so the water comes pouring down. The steam begins to hollow out and you strip from your clothes, tossing them to the side. The waterfall feels clean, it envelopes you and you close your eyes in bliss. Why has this been so hard to do? The scent of your shampoo brings a slight smile to your face when you wash your hair, and it may just be because you were proud of yourself just for doing that. As you rinse your hair, there was a noise from outside the bathroom. A bang. Then a crash. Then a⊠clink?
Your heartbeat rises. Someone else was there, it wasnât from the tv and you knew it. With shaking hands you shut off the shower and grasp your towel, wrapping your body in it roughly. Your mind starts to race. Will they leave without knowing you were there? Will they find you? What will they do if they do? Looking around the room, you panic when your phone is missing. Itâs still downstairs. Fuck.
The footfalls grow louder as they climb the stairs, slowly. And then, as though he knows you would be hiding, Noah calls out.
âAre you home? Itâs just me! Please don't attack me!â
The breath you were holding onto finally is let out, and you stomp over to the door, swinging it open aggressively.
âWhat the fuck, Noah!â You yell at him, hair dripping onto the floor as he stares at you like a deer caught in headlights. His hair was longer now, coming close to sitting on his shoulders. His dark brown eyes were wide as they stared at you, in a towel, in the middle of the hallway, with an angry expression twisted in your face. âI thought you were coming to kill me!â
It was then that you noticed a bag in his hand, a garbage bag, full of the rubbish that has been littering your house for weeks. âAre you cleaning?â
He still is looking at you, âI thought it would helpâŠâ he says sheepishly.
âWhy are you cleaning?â you ask, quite literally dumbfounded.
âI know what youâre like. This isnât healthy. Iâm cleaning and youâre going to pack a bag and come live with usâ he stated matter-of-factly.
âCome live with you?â
He nods his head, then turns and walks into your bedroom. You see the light in the room shift as he slides the curtains and opens the window, letting a light breeze slowly waft into the room and down towards you. Youâre still confused as you see him rummaging around in your bedroom, throwing rubbish into a bag, then looking up to meet your confused stare.
âI can pack a bag for you if youâre just going to stand thereâ he remarks, and you respond quickly.
âIâll pack myself, thank you very much. Iâve seen your fashion sense and I donât trust youâ
âWhat do you mean!â Noah calls back in disbelief.
âGrass shoes!â You yell back.
He stands in silence for a moment. âEnough said,â he states finally in defeat.
As you walk into your room, you start to feel overwhelmed watching Noah already having a full bag of trash. He was here all of 5 minutes and had done more around the house than you had in a month. Guilt started to eat away at the pit of your stomach, and Noah noticed the energy shift in the room. When he looked at you tears started to form.
âHeyâŠ. Hey hey hey heyâ he says, dropping the bag and coming to your side, wrapping his long arms around you. You bury your head in his chest and loop your arms around him. Breathing in his scent helped, but it didnât stop the tears completely.
âI can stop if itâs not helpingâ
âNo, please, Iâm just sorry. Itâs a lot. I havenât seen you in so longâ
âI know, but I knew I had to do something.â
It took all of a few hours to get the house into a relatively clean state. With bags of rubbish out of the way, clothes and dishes put back into their place, weeks of dirt and grime finally cleaned, you started to feel alive again. There was something about spending time with Noah that made you feel better. When the sun was starting to set, your house looked normal, bags were packed, and you were closing the door behind you as you left and walked towards Noahâs car.
The drive back to his house was quiet. You watched out the window as the view zoomed past. It seemed odd being outside, to be moving somewhere especially when you were not supposed to be leaving your house. But this was essential. This was for a medical reason. If Noah had not come to help you, who knows how long it would have taken to start completely falling apart.
When you finally pulled into the driveway, Noah stepped out and collected your bags, then headed straight inside having you follow him in. Although it was early, you were exhausted.
âI think I might just go straight to bed,â you murmur to Noah. He nods, then leads you to a bedroom. It was mostly bare, but it would be perfect. After how much clutter you had been surrounded with lately, the minimalism was refreshing.
You drop your bags on the bed, then turn to see Noah at the door.
âIf you need anything, you know to come find meâ he speaks softly. You nod in response. He then closes the door leaving you with nothing but yourself.
You look around the room. A bed was pushed up against the wall. A painting hung opposite it, and a plant stood tall in the corner by the door. The view out of the window showed the tall tree that stood in the backyard by the timber fence, and it looked like there were a few small birds taking up residence in a nest off one of the branches. You smiled at the birds, admiring their own peacefulness. They were content. Happy. Living with what they had. You were determined to get there yourself.
After a restless nightâs sleep, you awoke to the sun shining through the window. The birds had left for the morning, possibly to get their food, and you decided you needed to do the same.
As you exit out of your new bedroom, the house is quiet aside from the muffled sounds of the tv from around the corner. You come around to see the animated faces of unknown characters playing out. It was an anime, and you were unfamiliar, but you did recognise the back of 2 heads facing the screen with their back to you. Noah and Jolly were sitting down on a couch lost in the adventure they were watching. You rounded the couch and slumped next to them. Nothing needed to be said, and nothing was said. They just shifted over to give you more room and continued on with their show.
This is what you needed. This new normal. With people around you. People that made you smile, made you actually want to get up in the morning, and to watch funny shows with.
As the anime continued, you started to ask some questions. âSo whoâs side are we supposed to be on?â âArenât they supposed to be the bad guy?â âWhat do you mean they just died?â âHow old are these characters supposed to be?â
Noah and Jolly answered every single one of them, explaining plot points, theories and sometimes even loopholes in the storytelling.
After an hour, Jolly left to retreat to the kitchen, leaving yourself and Noah sitting side by side. He looked over at you, sharing a smile, and threw his arm over your shoulder. The action made you fall onto his side, a strangely comforting feeling after being so distant for so long. But a feeling that you knew you could get used to pretty quick.
2 months have passed now. You were still living with Noah and the boys. He still made you laugh and smile like you never had before. The days were simple, spending time with each other, watching shows, writing music, and playing games. But tonight it was another night on the couch. It became a tradition these days to all be sprawled out, limbs over limbs, invading personal space, all in an effort to spend quality time together and work as a close unit of friends. It felt so natural with them, they were beyond welcoming, and made you feel like a part of the family.
Just like all the nights that had passed previously, Nick was the first to go, standing with a sigh, rubbing his belly, and sauntering off into his room. Next to follow was Jolly, after many arguments about his falling asleep during the show, he finally admitted defeat and retreated back to his bedroom.
This left you and Noah alone. The growing haze of sleepiness was creeping ever so close to taking over. Your eyelids felt so heavy that it was impossible to keep them open. Iâll just rest my eyes for a minute, you say to yourself, knowing full well this was the biggest lie. It was mere seconds until the dream state took you under.
You were abruptly awoken by the feeling of rummaging coming from beneath you. Lifting your head from its place, you peer between the slits of your open eyes. Youâre met with Noahâs face looking at you, perplexed and a little worried.
âGo back to sleep, Iâm sorry I woke youâ he whispers in a soft tone, a little raspy and sleepy himself.
Twisting your head you can see you laying by his side, squished between his body and the back of the couch pillows. Noah was laying on his back, dangling close to the edge, one leg hanging off at the knee to stop from slipping off altogether. His hands rested on your back, gliding up and down in a soothing motion. His arm was twisted around your side, with you nestled comfortably and quite perfectly fitted under his arm with head resting on his chest.
A hand of yours was tucked under your head, and it takes a second to realize how you got here. When you fell asleep, you must have slipped down onto Noah, and him being the gentleman he is, didnât want to wake you. Was he asleep himself? By the look of his hair, spread across the beige pillow in a tangled mess, itâd be a good guess to say that he was.
You lay your head down once more, gazing drizzly up at Noah, who tenderly brushed some of the loose strands of hair away from your face.
âYou know you talk in your sleepâ he uttered quietly, as if not to disturb the peacefulness of the moment.
Still half asleep, you close your eyes and sigh.
âI was afraid of thatâ you whisper.
âIt was adorable,â he says, a gentle smile playing at the corners of his lips.
Noah leans his head down, straining it at an almost awkward angle, to meet your face. Suddenly, you werenât so sleepy anymore. He was so close. His breath washed over your face and wafted down past your neck. He was lingering, slow, questioningly. Did he want this? Did you? Shivers were running down your spine, possibly from the surge of butterflies in your stomach. Noah was your friend, your closest friend, and would this ruin it? Thoughts were running wild in your head, dancing dangerously close to ruining what was about to happen.
Noah notices, he sees you hesitate, and he pulls back. Your stomach drops.
âIâm sorry, I-â he starts.
You interrupt him by leaning up and meeting his lips with yours. He flinched at the impact, but didn't pull back. Instead, his lips move like yours, mimicking the motion you create, parting slightly to allow just that tiny bit more of a connection. You slide up, straddling Noah so that your thighs are at the sides of his torso, moving your hands so they are on either side of his face, fingers tangling with his long hair in a feeble attempt to ground yourself in the moment. His hands move too, gingerly griping at your hips, but not as to hold, but to caress. You feel a tremor of anticipation across your body, the light pressure that he creates between you two, rolling his body to be closer to yours, makes the sensation even more intimate.
Youâre still kissing him, heavily. His mouth parts more, flicking the tip of his tongue over your lips as though to ask for more. You respond with the same motion, with tongues now intertwining as you begin to taste him. The fears and worries from before are long gone, and all that you could think of now was him, was that he wants this just as much as you do.
The intensity between you and Noah grows more. It's as if the universe has narrowed down to this singular moment, where every touch, every sensation, becomes heightened and electrifying. The taste of his lips, the warmth of his breath, the softness of his skin â it all consumes your senses.
With each passing second, the kiss deepens, evolving into something more profound and passionate. Your tongues dance together, exploring the uncharted territory of each other's mouths. It's a delicate balance between fervor and tenderness, a beautiful symphony of desire and affection, orchestrated perfectly just for the two of you.
Noah's hands glide up your sides, his touch leaving a trail of fire in its wake. As his hands slip beneath your shirt, his fingers gently caress your skin, sending waves of pleasure coursing through your body and intensifying the sensation. Time becomes irrelevant as you revel in this newfound closeness. The outside world ceases to exist, and it's just the two of you, entwined in an embrace that speaks volumes without uttering a single word. In this intimate dance, you feel a profound sense of trust and vulnerability, knowing that you are sharing something special and rare.
You can feel him begin to writhe beneath you, legs shifting and pressing against the space between yours. You pause momentarily, letting the moment linger, before reciprocating the same passion, grinding down with your hips to create friction between your clothes. The moan that elicits from Noah echoes into your mouth, the feeling of pleasure taking over him for a moment. As the kiss lingers, your hands wander, discovering the contours of each other's bodies. His hands now gripping desperately at your body, one cinched below your thigh, pulling it up closer to him, the other hooked around the back of your neck, thumb rubbing delicate shapes into your skin. Every touch, every caress, elicits a gasp or a sigh from both of you, like a plea for more.
But eventually, the need for air becomes undeniable, and you reluctantly break the kiss, your lips still tingling from the connection. Breathless and flushed, you meet Noah's gaze, searching for reassurance and affirmation. He looks back at you, with the same search in his eyes. Almost like heâs looking for answers too, like heâs asking if he could continue. You lean your forehead against Noah's, your breaths intermingling as you revel in the afterglow of that passionate kiss. Both of you are out of breath, panting in an effort to regain some kind of consciousness. Time seems to stand still, as if the universe itself is holding its breath, acknowledging the significance of this shared moment. That is, until the rattle of the fridge door, and the flood of its light tears you from the moment, violently throwing you back to the reality around you. With a jolt, your head darts towards the source, the silhouette of Jolly in the fridge gives you your answer.
âBout time you guys kiss and make upâ he says, with such a carefree nature, a hint of humor playing in his last words. âNick, you owe me 20!â He calls, exiting the room and around the corner.
âWeâre they fucking, or just making out?â You hear Nick call from another room.
âJust making out. Thank Christâ Jolly answers to himself, leaving you and Noah to giggle, flushed red with embarrassment. Despite being caught in the act, it didnât dampen the mood. You were still straddling Noah, but sitting more upright now. He sits up, readjusting so you sit atop his lap. He brushes a loose strand behind your ear, and looks at you tenderly.
It might be the lack of oxygen, but the way the colorful light from the tv dances on Noahâs face makes him seem more beautiful, like something youâve never seen in him before.
In the room's shifting shadows, the illustrations decorating his neck come alive, dancing in the changing colors that starkly contrast with the white of his shirt. His hair was a mess, tangled and knitted from your fingers, but it was his eyes, and the way they looked into your soul, that made you feel at home. With your hands draped around his neck, you lean in once more, placing a gentle kiss on his lips. He closes his eyes and leans into you again, pushing his hands against your back to make you closer to him as you both revel in the fleeting moment. Even if it did change things in the future, you didnât care.

scariness & comfort of feeling (noah sebastian x reader one shot)
For everyone who goes through rough times rn, with also extra smily Noah. <3
âIt feels like i havenât seen you in ages.â
Noahâs words makes my head snap up from my phone, meeting his gaze. The small smile that is curled around his lips is warm, but his dark brown eyes look at me worried. I sigh, putting my phone inside the pocket of my hoodie in front and shrug.
âYeah, sorry. Been busy,â I mumble, my eyes flicking down to his soft sheets of his bed that Iâm sitting on. He joins me, sitting close next to me, his body turned just enough to face me well, feeling him studying my facial expressionsâand I hate it, making my cheeks flush by shame, awkwardness and fluttery.
He knows me long enough to know that something is going on.
âBusy with what?â Noah asks me, his voice still gentle yet also letting me know that he sees right through me. I sigh once again, just deeper this time, more frustrated, feeling myself heat up more and more by his stare undressing my every secret and emotion.
âJust⊠my head. I guess. Thinking. Surviving.â
He nods slowly, pursing his lips a bit, his eyes then ranking down to my oversized hoodie, hiding my small body. I begin to tug at the sleeves a bit, feeling exposed underneath his gazeâand he knows that.
âIâm sorry things are going backwards for you again, y/n.â
I slightly frown, trying to brush off the truth with a small, soft laugh, as if he is overreacting. He is not. âWhat? Donât worry, Iâll be fine.â
âYeah?â he taunts me, his voice now sounding less warm, more worried, but also frustrated with worries for his best friend. âY/n, youâre almost drowning in that hoodie.â
âYou know I like oversized clothes, especially hoodies.â
âYes, but this is insane.â
âWhat do you mean, insane?!â I snap, my brows furrowing deeper, my nostrils flaring as anger, but mostly defeat frustration comes up, going all the way to my throat to slightly squeeze it by sad emotion as well. I know heâs right. âIâll be fine, Noah. Always made it through.â
âYeah, but for how long though?â he then fires back, his voice slightly rising, his face now dropping in raw emotions of worry, sadness, and anger for the current situation I canât seem to get out of. âIt kills me to see you like this, and that you donât get the help you need, you deserve. Itâs insane that you have to do this all on your own, and I get the energy that gets pulled out of you by that, and not being able to handle almost anything or anyoneâbut pushing me away wonât get you anywhere, âcause I actually want to help you. Please, y/n, stop resisting me and tell me how I can help!â
Noahâs loud words echo around through his bedroom walls, bouncing right into my ears, making their way into my mind and leaving me speechless for a moment. I blink, a shuddering breath escaping my lips for a moment as my heart pounds louder into my chest, a knot of shame, anger and sadness appearing into my stomach and chest. But most of all, the feeling of helplessness and loneliness, being pulled out of the depths of my soul and getting unlocked by Noah just like that, after successfully being able to hide it away for so long.
And then, I just start sobbing, hiding my face in my trembling hand in shame, my cheeks flushing even more. I hate crying, showing emotion and being vulnerable, but Noah pulls me into a tight hug right away, making me wrap my arms around his strong but warm bodyâfeeling safe yet terrified at the same time, as my deepest emotions flush out my squeezed shut eyes, my forehead leaning on one of his shoulders, my cries muffled by his own hoodie he is wearing.
His tattooed hand gently rubs my back, his chin placed on my hair, and when I then feel him press a loving, soft kiss on it my chest gets replaced by a tight tug of warmth and flutters, the knot in my stomach slowly loosening.
âItâs okay,â he murmurs, his hand then going up to my hair being held together in a low bun, his fingers caressing though my roots in a gentle way, âlet it out. Itâs insane that you hold it in so much for such a long time. Itâs healthy and much more relieving to let it be there, to progress it all, both for your mind and body.â
âItâs scary,â I sniff in response, knowing his words are true, but sounding like a terrifying taks for me. âLetting it in, letting the emotions be there, be real, overwhelming me⊠itâs horrifying. I have no control and itâs horrifying.â
âI know,â Noah softly whispers, pressing yet another gentle kiss on my head before we then slowly let go, and he brushes a loose strand of hair out of my face and behind my ear as his eyes look at me comfortably, lovingly and calmâeasing the storm inside of me much more than anything else could the past months. Having someone in front of you, caring for you on such a deep level, immediately makes a difference for me, making it easier for me to breathe again, the rope around my neck that got tighter and tighter with each day passing slowly loosening up.
âAnd if you want to, and if you tell me how, I can try to make it less complicated and scary for you. Make it comfortable and easier. And I came prepared, actually.â His lips slowly curl up, as he then stands up and leaves the room for a moment, the twinkle in his eyes promising me that everything is okay and heâll be right back.
After a minute of two curiously fidgeting with the ends of the sleeves of my hoodie, Noah comes back again with two ice cream cups of my favorite Ben & Jerryâs flavor, making my face instantly light up as a breathless, surprised laugh escapes my lips.
âTold you,â he grins, as he then hands me a spoon and sits down as well. âYou praise this flavor so much that I of course have to try as well.â
I warmly and thankfully smile at him, and for the first time since months things indeed feel less scary and darkâthe two of us together like this warming my scarred heart.

BAD DECISIONS PART 2
Noah Sebastian x Fem! Reader
Summary: When Noah realizes the decision he had made and that he had lost you, what does he do to try to reverse the situation?
Warnings: Crying, arguments, drinking, fights.
Word Count: 1.5K
---
**Noah's POV**
What the hell had I done?
She wasnât here.
Why did I leave?
âŠ
It was 10 PM, and I was still sitting in a bar with Jolly. He had called me out after I told him about my fight with Y/N. I had already drunk everything, trying to forget the fact that I had been a terrible husband and, worse, a terrible best friendâthe best friend of someone who had trusted me with all her secrets.
âEarth to NoahââJolly pulled me back from my thoughts.
âSorryââI turned my attention back to him.
âBro, I know how important she is to you, and right now, I think you should go home and figure out a good way to apologizeââJolly warned me.
âSheâs not going to forgive meââI sighed.
âYou donât know that; you havenât talked to her yetââ
âI know her, Jolly, like the back of my hand. Weâve been married for the last two yearsââI knew she was upset and that she wouldnât want to talk to me right then.
âTry, man, bad decisions are made this way. Maybe sheâs waiting for you at home, hoping for an apologyââ
âYouâre right, okayââI got up from the table.
âLet me know what happens, alright?ââJolly gave me a light hug, and I just nodded, heading for the exit.
Where had my bad decisions taken me?
âŠ
I parked my car in the garage, rehearsing in my head what I would say to her, what excuse I would make to try and keep her from leaving, to try not to lose her.
I turned the key in the door. As I opened it, I was met with the darkness and silence that filled our home. My eyes spotted the note I had left when I left in the morning. It was crumpled and near the trash can.
I called out her name, asking where she was. The silence lingered. I made my way to our bedroom, hoping she would be there. But all I saw was her side of the closet nearly empty. Her suitcase was gone.
I felt my heart drop, tightening in my chest. Where had she gone?
My hand quickly went to my pocket, searching for my phone. I opened my contacts, looking for her name, and quickly dialed.
âHey, itâs Y/N. Leave a messageââ
Voicemail.
What the hell had I done?
She was gone.
I scrolled through my contacts and clicked on Jollyâs name.
âWhatâs up, man?ââhe answered quickly.
âSheâs goneââI felt tears burning in my eyes, and my voice got cracked.
**Y/Nâs POV**
Two days had passed.
Two days with no contact from Noah, no contact with anyone. I checked into a hotel near the beach. I needed this time to think about where my relationship with Noah was headed. I only left my room for four things: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and to hit the beach.
My phone had been off since I left our house; I still didnât want to deal with my problems. My mind wasnât in the right place for that yet.
But it was time to resolve this; I could feel divorce waiting for us.
I turned my phone back on.
There were lots of unread messages and missed calls. Even from his manager, Matt.
Nick had called me 56 times.
Nicholas had called me 78 times.
Jolly, 48 times.
And Noahâ147 times.
I opened my chat with Noah, and his last message was sent two hours ago.
âIâm sorry.â
I needed to call him.
I put my phone to my ear and waited for his response.
âY/N?ââthere was desperation in his voice.
âHi, NoahââI replied.
âThank God, I was so worried about youââhis 147 calls confirmed that, I mentally replied.
A few seconds passed before I responded.
âI want a divorceââ
Everything went quiet, no reply came.
âWhere are you?ââhis voice stumbled.
âUm, a hotel, the one we stayed in when we got locked out of the houseââa light smile crept onto my face, remembering the time we left the house key in Nickâs car, and he had gone to San Francisco.
âIâm coming overââI could hear him grab his keys.
âWhy, Noah? I just want a divorce; I donât need to talk to youââ
âIâm not letting you file for divorce without talking to me face to face first. I know the hell I put you through. Iâve been a terrible husband these past few months, but you wonât divorce me without talking to me in person.â His voice was solid, sure of his actions.
I felt tears threatening to fall.
âOkayââwas all I could manage to say.
âŠ
It had been 15 minutes since Noah had called me. I had brushed my teeth and tried to hide the fact that I had spent the last two days crying and thinking about the end of our relationship.
A knock on the door made me feel like I was in high school about to present a project in front of the whole class.
Nervousness.
I walked toward the door, standing in front of it, taking a deep breath and trying to convince myself that everything would be okay.
I opened the door and was met by Noahâs puffy, red eyes.
He was still so beautiful.
âH-hiââhis voice faltered.
âCome inââhe nodded, and I quickly closed the door behind him.
When I turned to Noah again, I was surprised by the warmth of his embrace, something I hadnât felt in months, he held my so tightly.
âPlease donât ask for the divorceââthere was desperation in his voice.
âDonât ask me to do that after you treated me like a complete stranger for the past few monthsââmy voice was weak but firm.
He pulled his face from my neck, looking me straight in the eyes, holding my face in his hands.
âI know, I know, that Iâve been a jerk the past few months and that I didnât treat you the way I should haveâand Iâm so fucking sorry for that. But please donât divorce me.â- His eyes were shining with tears threatening to fall.
âAnd how am I supposed to be sure you wonât do it again? That you wonât come home and treat me like a complete stranger?ââI pulled his hands away from my face.
âMy promises might not mean anything right now, but I swear I will never treat you that way again; I promise I will improve. I wonât spend so much time in the studio. I promise to put effort into our relationship like I did in the beginningââI searched for any sign of dishonesty or hesitation in his eyes, but all I saw was truth and fear.
The truth is that everyone makes mistakes, everyone takes bad decisions, but we donât always have to crucify others for their wrong actions.
Of course, you shouldnât stay in a place where the same mistake keeps happening and the person doesnât see the issue or insists on the mistake.
But we are human beings; we are capable of making mistakes every day.
âI wonât be able to forgive you again, Noah. Please keep your promises. Each one you break is a part of me wanting to disappear from your lifeââI wiped a tear that had fallen on his face.
Noah brought his hands back to my face, looking into my eyes deeply.
âI promise, I promise, every part of me needs you, today, now, always. I promise from the bottom of my heart youâll never have to go through this pain againââ
âYouâre my confidant, Noah, the person I seek when I come home and need comfort. Youâve held all my secrets like no one else; no one knows me like you do. Please donât throw that away.â- I held his hand.
âI promiseââhe whispered.
He hugged me, and I had missed that warmth for months.
He was here.
âForgive me,â Noah whispered, kissing my forehead, and I simply nodded in agreement.
âDonât make me doubt your love for me againââI replied.
He looked at me and brought his lips to mine.
The feeling felt surreal.
Our lips always fit together, as if they were meant to be.
âI love youââI felt happiness hearing those words again after months of thinking he had stopped loving me.
âI love you tooââI whispered back.
We kissed again.
Our kiss was interrupted by a knock on the door.
Noah walked over and opened it.
Jolly.
âThank God you two worked it out. Noah without you isnât worth anything.â There was a tone of joy in his voice.
âShut upââNoah replied, smiling lightly and giving Jolly a pat on the shoulder.
I smiled, hoping that this time, everything was going to be alright.
Donât dwell on your bad decisions; chase after them and resolve them.
ââââ

Darkness at the heart of my love
Pairings: Noah Sebastian x reader Warnings: none Notes: again, don't know where this is going, many ideas, never an ending hihi. Also, listen to this song, it was my muse for this thing/chapter whatever you wanna call it lol.
You traced the faded design on your chipped nail polish, lost in memories of a summer filled with his laughter and stolen kisses. It seemed like ages ago, those sunny days when his voice was always there, comforting and familiar. Now, as you waited for him to answer the phone, you couldn't help but feel the weight of all that had shifted.
"Hey, babe" Noah's voice finally rasped through the phone, heavy with sleep. It was the first time you'd heard from him in days.
"Hey" you forced a smile. "I was starting to think you'd forgotten about me."
He chuckled, but it lacked its usual warmth. "Sorry, busy week. Soundchecks, interviews, you know...â
You bit your lip, pushing down the familiar pang of loneliness. "Yeah, I figured," you mumbled. You weren't sure if you were more hurt by the missed calls or the casual dismissal of your absence, like he hadn't missed you at all.
The silence stretched, thick with unspoken emotions. Finally, you gathered your courage. "So, when do you think we can have a proper talk? Itâs been a while since, you know, weâve had an actual conversation that lasted longer than 5 minutes.â
"Honestly, (Y/N), it's been crazy. I don't know when things will settle down."
The truth stung. You knew it wasn't just the tour schedule anymore. He wasn't making the effort, and your once vibrant connection felt like a fading radio signal, distorted and barely there.
"Okay," you said, your voice cracking slightly. "I understand."
You ended the call quickly as you didn't want him to hear you cry. The quiet in your small apartment felt overwhelming, tears welled in your eyes. It made it hard to see as you scrolled through X.
Among the bright lights and pictures of concerts, there he was. Noah, laughing with a bunch of fans, his arm around a pretty blonde girl, her smile big and happy.
A wave of nausea washed over you. You knew, logically, that he was a celebrity, bound to interact with fans. But the sight of him so close to another woman, the intimacy of his touch, ignited a jealousy you hadn't anticipated.
It wasn't just jealousy, though. It was a deeper feeling of insecurity that had been bothering you for weeks. It ate away at your confidence, leaving you feeling empty inside. You started to wonder if you were just a temporary fix in his glamorous world when he came back home.
Every time Noah didn't respond to your messages or calls, it felt like a punch in the gut. You felt completely alone, like you were drowning in a sea of uncertainty, desperately clinging to the hope that Noah would throw you a lifeline.
But he never did. Instead, he brushed aside your attempts to share your feelings, making empty promises and offering half-hearted apologies. It felt like he didn't really care about you anymore, as if you didn't matter in the grand scheme of his busy life.
When you called, he was always laughing with someone in the background, always busy, always talking. Other times, he was tired, his voice heavy with exhaustion, or sleepy, his words slurred as he struggled to stay awake. But his attention was never one hundred percent on you. It was as if he existed in a world that never slowed down, a whirlwind that left little room for anything else, for anyone else.
One evening, as you sat alone, feeling sad and listening to music, how poetic. The lyrics of "Darkness at the Heart of My Love," the song you and Noah shared, echoed around the room. Now, the lyrics felt hollow, a cruel reminder of a love that couldn't survive the distance.
A bitter smile twisted your lips. The summer had died, taking your love with it. You finally understood Noah's silence. It wasn't just about the tour schedule; it was about him choosing a different path, a path that didn't include you.
The anger that had been simmering beneath finally boiled over. You grabbed your phone and dialed his number, your fingers trembling slightly. He answered after the first ring, his voice laced with surprise.
"Is that it, Noah?" you began, your voice surprisingly steady despite the storm raging within you. "Is this how it ends? With unanswered calls and texts and photos with girls who look like they stepped out of a magazine?"
The silence on the other end was heavy and suffocating. Noah was surprised by your sudden outburst, his usually quick response delayed as he struggled with your words.Â
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Noah spoke.âI⊠I don't know what to say, (Y/N). It's not like that."
He sighed. Did he just fucking sigh at your words? This making you even angrier than you already were.
"Then what is it like, Noah?" you asked, raging. "Why do I feel like I'm always waiting for you, but you donât seem to need me?â
There was a pause, a long silence again. And then, Noah's voice said âIâm sorry, (Y/N). I've been so caught up in everything... I didn't mean to make you feel this way."
His words made you feel hopeful at first. But then doubt crept in, whispering that maybe he did mean it to make you feel this way. After all, he had been practically ignoring you for weeks, so why would things suddenly change now?
"Tell me, Noah," you continued, your voice shaking slightly as you recite the lyrics of your shared song. "Does your love have a darkness? Does it run cold, deep, like the lyrics you so readily quote all the time?"
Noah's answer came quickly, his words rushing out. "No, (Y/N), it's not like that. I love you, I really do. But... I've been struggling with everything."
You listened, feeling a tug on your heart with each word he said. But even as he opened up about his struggles, you couldn't shake the lingering question: why hadn't he reached out to you sooner? Why had he left you feeling lost and alone, without any explanation?
"Goodbye, Noah," you said, the weight of the word crushing you as much as it crushed him.
You didn't wait for a response. You didn't need one. You ended the call, the silence on the other end told you everything you needed to know.
â
But the silence wouldn't last forever. Occasionally, you'd be brought back to reality by the harsh ringtone cutting through silence. Your heart would skip a beat, hoping it was Noah finally reaching out, but it was never Noah.
Everything seemed to remind you of him, yet you never felt lonelier. You couldn't help but wonder why Noah never bothered to reach out, not even once. Did you really mean that little to him? Were you really that disposable?
In the days after, you kept busy with work or watching Netflix late into the night, trying to avoid thinking about Noah. But he was always there, like a ghost in your thoughts.
You tried to find comfort in your usual daily routine, but it couldn't fill the emptiness. The coffee tasted bitter, hanging out with friends felt empty, and the nights felt long and lonely.
You tried to move on, exploring new things and even going on a few dates. But every new situationship felt like a weak copy of what you had with Noah. He had made a big impression on your heart, and no matter how much time passed or how far you went, you couldn't forget it.
Despite the hurt, there was a small shimmer of hope. You wished, deep down, that someday he would return, willing to fight for you. Though you felt really silly and stupid for even dare to think this way.
But even as you struggled with everything, life kept marching on. You started to find joy again in unexpected places, glimpses of happiness.
And slowly, ever so slowly, the ache in your heart began to simmer down. It didn't disappear entirely â you doubted it ever would â but it became more bearable, a constant companion rather than an overwhelming force.
You threw yourself into your passions, rediscovering the things that brought you joy before Noah had come crashing into your life. Music became your refuge once more, the melodies and lyrics you hadn't realized you'd been missing.
â
One evening, a couple of months later, you had a small gig at a nearby bar. It was a simple chance to share your songs with a small crowd which you really appreciated.Â
The concert was fantastic, but you did feel kinda relieved when it ended. As you left the stage, still buzzing with adrenaline, you were met with cheers and applause from the small but enthusiastic crowd. Lottie and Taylor, your ever-supportive best friends, beaming with excitement.
â(Y/N), you were absolutely stunning out there!" Lottie exclaimed, pulling you into a tight hug. "I'm so proud of you!"
"Seriously, (Y/N), that was incredible," Taylor chimed in, her voice filled with genuine admiration. "You absolutely smashed it!"
You smiled at your friends, feeling grateful for their constant support. Together, you moved through the crowd, settling into a cozy booth.
The air was filled with the scent of beer and the sound of people chatting and clinking glasses. Laughter and shared memories filled the air, recalling inside jokes and cherished memories.
They skillfully avoided mentioning Noah though, as they were fuming with him for how he had broken their best friend down to a shadow of herself.Â
You were thankful for them, as they had been there since the start, helping you through the heartbreak.
As the night went on and the drinks kept coming, you got lost in the fun with your friends, forgetting about time and how much you had to drink. But just when you were starting to relax and enjoy the moment, you felt someone looking at you.
You turned around and saw Noah, his expression hard to figure out but somehow familiar. And in that quick moment, it was just the two of you, silently looking at each other. Everything else around you disappearing.
To be continued.
