BIO

it was hansa's father that wanted to move to america, to a small supernatural community in pennsylvania, where hansa was born and raised. protectors, hansa was put into martial arts classes very young, expected to take them as seriously as she did school. while her dad wanted her to study muay thai, the gorgon always favored her mother's side and instead leaned towards wing chun, which was better for her small stature anyway. while always outspoken, sometimes she could be unnecessarily so, much to the dismay of her father. her childhood best friend was the sweet to her sour, though, the bubbles to her buttercup; it was a relationship that she thought could withstand all others, the sibling she never had. the child had this ridiculous notion that they were soulmates. that was why the betrayal hurt so much. she didn't mean to do permanent damage. the rumors, her girlfriend ... she was only fifteen when it all just ... happened. perhaps if it was only one person things would have been different — but it wasn't. her family moved from the home they built, shamed and exiled after their daughter killed two undeserving girls. and hansa never let anyone get quite so close again. unfortunately, things never quite felt the same with her parents either. she felt guilty, knowing she caused their lives to be uprooted and as soon as she turned eighteen, she left. never staying one place for long, hansa has found herself in portum after seven years living a pretty nomadic lifestyle. after a year, the longest she's spent in one place since childhood, the gorgon has finally began to let her walls down, though still fears her own self sometimes, never wanting to let her emotions control her and lead to her hurting an innocent again.

tango, flo, and jet are usually roaming portum together, though the snakes tend to stay near hansa and tango tends to stay near the snakes.

she hasn't practiced martial arts in years but does miss it.

music has always been her true love and one thing she's always done while traveling is seeing shows from her favorite bands, even so much as them inspiring spots.

I always promised myself I would be the type of writer who would respond to every comment because I cherish them all. But I can barely answer my work emails these days and would rather reply to none than to only a select few and make others feel left out.

They're all pretty happy tbh. If you want super cozy/warm vibes you can't go wrong with New Year's Resolution.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Rarely. And I feel very lucky for that. I used to write a lot on Wattpad when I was in my teens/early twenties and comments were pretty brutal back then. So I've become a bit jaded when it comes to dumb one-liners. Essay-sized mean comments? Get a life. lol.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Have you read on-again, off-again, yet? It's my latest smutty installation.

Endless Night is inspired by Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist and that's probably the closest I've ever come to doing that.

Yes.

Yes. Very grateful international readers are interested in reading and translating my work.

I do artist-writer collabs but not with other writers.

Dramione & Jurdan (but I'm happy with Holly Black's original and I don't try to rewrite perfection).

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

You wouldn't know because I have enough foresight not to publish it lol.

That's an awkward thing to answer about myself... But if I had to pick it would be: brevity, banter, first POV voice, and maybe specificity when it comes to description.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Action scenes. I also struggle with transitioning ideas between paragraphs seamlessly. Sentence structure variation (I'm working on it).

The Body Count was my first dramione fanfic and still holds a special place in my heart.

In one shots, it's probably at the coffee table. I'm really proud of how much I was able to cram into 3.7k words and it's still one of my favourites today.

Favorite movie(s)?

This is a tough one, i don’t watch as many movies anymore as I do tv, but I used to go to the movies all of the time when I was in my late teens/early twenties. I think it’s Palm Springs because I love a good time loop movie and I have a huge crush on Cristin Milioti. I also like the Back to the Future movies, the Dark Knight is always a good watch, Friends with Kids with Adam Scott is one I really enjoyed, the Addams Family movies from the 90s, Cabin in the Woods, Knives Out, Click, Fury, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist, the Final Destination movies, the It movies the newer ones and the tv movie, Dredd, I like how many came to mind haha I’m probably forgetting a ton too. Thank you!!

I mean Nick and Nora’s infinite playlist and Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List also got made into movie. But like neither of those movies got the same level of hype as RWRB or heartbreaker. And only Naomi and Ely had a gay co-lead. That said I would love to read adult gay romance by David.

They just don’t put the same umpf behind adapting gay men’s YA that they do gay men as written by women YA it must be said.

Anyway yes David should do a one off where his protagonist is older than 20
