— Y/N: A nursing student that is currently considering going to full time med school so she can become a surgeon because “that’s where the big bucks are.” Has never gone a day without seeing something supernatural. Used to wish all the time that she could just “turn it off” — and still does sometimes. Has only truly come to terms with her abilities in the last few years. Is known around campus to be really nice but also a little weird. Makes her friends stand with her when talking to spirits (and other things) so she doesn’t look crazy. The Blossom of the girls’ trio and the glue that holds the whole group together.

— NICHOLAS: Y/N’s best friend. The two have been attached at the hip since they met their senior year of high school. Bicker like an old married couple and are CONSTANTLY mistaken as an actual couple— much to the dismay of Nico’s long term bf Euijoo. Even though he complains about it, he’s the one that’s usually there for all the supernatural messes Y/N gets into.

— JAY: Went to high school with Y/N but only became close to her towards the end of their senior year after she helped his grandfather move on. The son of a famous businessman— which means he instantly became the group’s wallet. After he found out about her abilities, he began studying the supernatural to help her.

— LILY: Met Y/N during freshman orientation at JYP U and the two hit it off immediately. Became very interested in the supernatural after finding out about Y/N’s abilities. Like Jay, she dove into studying the supernatural. The Bubbles of the girls’ trio.

— KAI: Had the biggest crush on Y/N last year but now only views her platonically. Would rather stay in playing video games or watching anime. Almost passed out the first time he really got to see Y/N’s abilities in action. For some reason, his deceased aunt likes to pop in a lot when he’s with Y/N.

— NATTY: Loves listening to drama but hates being involved in it. Was a major skeptic before meeting Y/N and seeing her abilities first hand. Found out about Y/N when she helped her ex-roommate get rid of an attachment. The Buttercup of the girls’ trio. Likes bullying the boys out of love. Has a one sided beef with Beomgyu.

— MATTHEW: The newest member of the group. Has only been at JYP U for about six months. Found out about Y/N’s abilities when she helped him get rid of a trickster spirit that was wracking havoc. Still trying to get used to Y/N randomly talking to things that he can’t see.

Entering the school that morning y/n wore a black hoodie with the hood up hoping no one would see or recognize her. But her attempt fell as she could feel everyone's eyes on her, people even leaning close to one another whispering. She knew she shouldn’t have come to school today, maybe her parents will let her move back in and will be okay with her dropping out?. No, that wouldn’t work. Her parents had a hard time accepting the fact she decided to go to school for Art instead of Medicine or any other ‘real’ degree. What makes her think they’ll be okay with her dropping out?. Holding her head down pulling the strings of her hoodie she sped up trying to get to her first class of the day.

Stopping in her tracks though when she saw a few of the Soliel girls standing in the hall chatting away. ‘Fuck’ she said to herself as her attention landing directly on NingNing. Knowing she will have to walk past NingNing as her class was literally right there. Taking a deep breath she gained whatever confidence she had left in her. Lifting her foot up to take a step forward she instantly turned around and began to walk back to her dorm. There’s no way in hell she can do this, getting ready to leave the art and music building she felt someone interlock their arm with hers. Jumping at the interaction she looked up to see that it was just her friend Natty. “Oh thank fuck it’s just you” she sighed in relief. Natty scanned her and turned her right back around “you’re not skipping” was all she said as she led y/n to her 3D digital design class. Filled with dread and the impulse to isekai herself Y/n let her friend drag her. Walking past the Soliel girls as they felt their eyes; especially NingNings eyes on her. One of the other girls whose name was Karina leaned in to whisper to NingNing to which she only nodded and sent a rather chilling glare towards Y/n.

It was at that moment y/n officially made a mental note to follow through with the isekai later that night hoping a truck would be ready to run her over. “There ya go” Natty said, breaking y/n out of her miserable thoughts. Natty gave Y/n a reassuring smile as she patted her head, “it’ll be okay, with how the people are at this school they’ll forget about this in a week tops”. Knowing Natty was probably right y/n sighed and nodded. Saying their goodbyes as Natty left to go to her own class. Y/n made her way to her usual computer. Pulling out her tablet and getting everything set up for class, praying to whoever was up there to take it easy on her today.

Getting everything set up she saw someone sitting down next to her in her purview vision. Not really minding as she continued her tasks until she felt the person tap on her shoulder “hey, you’re y/n right”. Looking over to place a face to the person she screamed internally. Right beside her was Nicholas, giving her his signature smile that used to make her heart flutter with his black hair falling slightly in his sharp intense eyes. “Uh, um yeah…that’s me” chuckling nervously as she tried to be polite while she screamed inside questioning why he’s talking to her and what the hell he wanted. “I’m Nicholas, but you already know that right?” he teased lightly making Y/n wish she could disappear in her hoodie. “Heh. yeah I know…um don’t you usually sit in the front? Not trying to be rude but”, Nicholas hummed at her words as he nodded, “yeah, but I thought I’d switch things up today”. Nicholas' eyes never left her, his body even facing hers as he leaned in slightly closer to her. “I didn’t know we had this class together actually, what are the odds right?” only nervously chuckling at his statement still weary of him but now also irritated as they’ve been in this class for about five months. “Yup, we’re also in Art History with Professor Kim together” trying to hide the annoyance in her voice, Nicholas now taking the turn to look awkward not realizing he shared two classes with her. Only really knowing about this class because of Taki.

“Ah, sorry about that, I don’t really pay attention to my classmates I guess” Nicholas attempted to apologize. “But you’re paying attention now?” Y/n asked the irritation levels slowly rising in her, taking Nicholas off guard a little but regaining his composure, clearing his throat. “Yeah, I guess I am, can’t believe I missed such a pretty girl in my classes” his effort of flirting only made y/n panic inside. She won’t lie she did enjoy the attention slightly, but something inside her just made her want to throw up. “Oh…thanks” was all she could respond with, awkward silence now taking place as they stared at each other. Nicholas had no idea what he should be doing, she’s not reciprocating to his flirting. “Um, look I know this might be weird since we haven’t really talked before. But would you like to go with me to the party next weekend?” expecting her to agree with his invite to the party.

“No” was not the word he was expecting to hear though, “oh, are you going with your friends then?” Nicholas asked. “No, I'm not going to the party....don't like them”, taking in her response he let out a little oh. He didn’t think it was going to be this difficult to talk to her. Not only is the conversation not going anywhere but he feels so nervous talking to her. He’s never felt this nervous talking to a girl before, so why is he now?

As you walk towards the canteen with Ningning, conversing about the upcoming events week, you catch Nicholas looking at you.

"What's up?" Ningning asks, noticing your sudden silence.

"I don't know if this is weird, but I don't think I hate Nicholas anymore."

Ningning can only chuckle, "That's a good thing, considering you two have to do be sitting at the food stall for quite some time." She jokes.

"No, it is weird." You insist, "He must be trying to sabotage our game in two weeks."

"You're still going on about that bet? I thought it was just a silly promise, you're actually going to play a soccer game against him." Ningning asks, her hand reaching for the sandwich in front of her.

"Even if it was a silly bet, coach already planned it. There's no backing down now." You sigh.

"Aye, I bet Nicholas isn't trying to sabotage the game. You really think he's that manipulative to manipulate you into not hating him? I bet the poor guy just has a little crush on you after saving you last game."

"You too?" You exclaim, causing Ningning to let out a laugh. "Everyone is saying he likes me."

"Y/n, it's time you wake up. He's head over heels for you. See for yourself next week at events week."

Nicholas’ POV

We arrived at 8pm to our dorm, all the ride here I was questioning myself how was I gonna ask Star. I admit it was pretty crazy since we hardly had a full conversation but I really liked Hana, so. And I had nothing to lose, really. The worst she could say is no or just block me.

I laid in my bed with my headphones on, still thinking. I decided to text the guys first.

After that enlightening conversation with my friends, I decided to text her. Here goes nothing.

Star’s POV

I was at the studio with Yeri, the others had left to the dorm not that long ago. We were finishing another song for our upcoming albums. Yeri and I were the songwriters of the group, even before debuting. We wrote whenever we could or when inspiration hit, so we had a lot of unreleased songs; when some were rejected by our label, we would sell them to other groups, both Kpop and western.

As Yeri went to receive our coffee order that was brought to us by our manager, my phone vibrated. Meaning I had received a message, thinking it was Hana or another one of my friends, I grabbed it. To my surprise, it was neither of them, instead it was Nicholas; which was pretty odd since I didn’t have his number and viceversa. I would have to check with Jo later.

I scanned through it as I heard the door opening and closing, and furrowed my eyebrows. He wants to what?!

Synopsis: Nicholas likes one of the top idols of the moment, he’ll do anything to get her attention. Even fake date one of her members.
