The Zen’in heir’s blatant eagerness was more than enough to fuel Satoru’s drive.
He tolerated the position, allowed the fingers around his throat for no other reason outside of knowing that in doing so would be equivalent to watching the other unravel, conducive to procuring the opportunity to see his adversary debase himself.
Satoru stifled the cutting gasps which escaped him, squeezed from emptied lungs by intercostals drawn tight with anticipation.
They both knew who between them truly held the power. Yet indeed, where was the fun in simply exerting it so? Their history of repeated altercations had made Naoya’s multi-faceted frustration conspicuous, and Satoru found it tremendously more entertaining to watch him break at the straining seams and betray his own stubborn diffidence and pride.
In truth, he was far from a saint himself. His own internal frustrations had only bubbled and intensified with Suguru’s departure. Who better to take them out on, and how very convenient- considerate of him to practically extend an invitation?
With his shoulder-blades pressed tightly to the wall, Satoru sank onto his knees in a single smooth motion, his calves folding neatly beneath him, knees set out at a jaunty angle. His spine trembled, his chest heaving and his frame shaking as he gulped for air. Unperturbed, he lifted his chin defiantly, grinning dangerously nonetheless.
Already, proof of Naoya’s overzealous grip was blossoming across his throbbing carotids like a flowering scald-scar, a symbol of ugly, derisive passion.
Hah. The higher-ups would go into conniptions if they caught wind of this sacrilege. Best to wear a low collar for the rest of the week.
“Now, now, no need to be so hasty.” Satoru’s lips pursed, pupils shrunken and cheeks flushed with the adrenaline coursing through his veins.
“Too weak to resist me in the end huh, Zen’in? How very crude.”

❛  if  you  have  nothing  to  hide ,  what’s  the  problem ?  ❜ ( for ahmya from naoya )
@nheioya sent a prompt for ahmya from naoya     //     still accepting !
Tumblr media
she knew very little about sorcerer clans or families, mostly because she just didn’t care.  why would she?  curses were disgusting, humans were just a plain pain in the ass.  ahmya liked neither, or dealing with neither.  especially the annoying, vain type like this one clearly was.  their personalities clashed the moment they exchanged a few words and it was evident from that moment then that the two would butt heads.  but she had been instructed by her brother to not fight anyone from the ‘ zen’in clan ’, and it was unfortunate that this man was supposed to be the next heir, or something stupid like that.  like she cares.
Tumblr media
so now she stands before him, abnormally sharp canine teeth digging into her bottom lip as she releases some of the bubbling rage in a less aggressive manner.  if she hadn’t been told by choso not to fight the zen’in family, they’d definitely be clashing right now.  “ listen, pretty boy, i’m advising you to turn around and strut right back to whatever fancy pish-posh estate you’re from and keep your nose outta’ my business. ”  although she is managing to keep herself from lashing out and attacking him she cannot stop her sharp tongue.
among her siblings ahmya was lucky enough to appear visually human, her host didn’t reject her as strongly as her now deceased brothers’ did.  the only abnormalities were her sharp teeth and blood-red eyes.  her hair was excusable, she could simply claim it was bleached.  and because she was a death painting she appears to function as a normal human sorcerer, but there were some, like this guy, who saw through the frail lie and wanted to dig deeper, which ahmya couldn’t afford to let happen lest she blows her cover as a death painting.  only the kids at the school knew she was choso’s sister, everyone else thought she was a mere sorcerer.
“ i can’t afford to get into a fight right now, i’m busy.  so you know my name, which is ahmya, you know where i said i was from...  some fuckin’ place in europe, and that’s all you gotta know.  i got sent here because of the uprise in curses and i’m here to help.  that’s all you gotta know, dude. ”  hopefully that would resolve whatever lingering suspicions he has of her, or it would start a full-blown altercation.  if so, she’s game, she’s not going against her brother’s instructions if he throws the first punch.

❝ We are only marrying because I need an heir. What you do and with who beyond that does not matter to me. ❞ ( from @nheioya )
ARRANGED MARRIAGE SENTENCE STARTERS 2.0
@nheioya
Atria had expected it, with the fleeting rumors she had heard of the man's attitude.
Although, even then, it only barely lessened the sting of his words in the end.
She didn't even know what to say in return in the beginning, her mind going haywire to find an appropriate response.
"Do you like anyone other than yourself?" Was what decided to come out instead, much to Atria's horror. But she had shocked herself so much with her own words that she didn't even try and correct herself.

“Well of course! Between the two of us, I’ve always been so much more agreeable.”

The initial attempts to dislodge him are futile. Satoru clings with an arm slung around the other’s shoulder until he decides to remove himself. Under normal circumstances, he’d have much preferred to maintain a distance between them the equivalent of a ten-foot pole.
“The Gojo clan and the Zen’ins- think about the drama, the romance, the cursed techniques!”

@nheioya ~ continued ~
The man's presence was enough to make even Tamotsu bristle, and for every step he took towards her, Atria found herself taking an equal step backwards.
As if she were just a bit desperate to keep the distance between them.
Naoya was right, Atria was a bit of a fool. Even Tamotsu tried to tell her it wasn't a good idea, not at all. But Atria's curiosity had gotten the better of her.
His question had the hairs on the back of her neck standing up and she managed a single nod as a response, finding her voice shortly after. "Blood relation, yes. My...My brother and I don't associate ourselves with them directly, though." Atria said quietly, her hands placing themselves delicately behind her back.
