ive been invited to hold an art stand at a con next year and before you think this is some major achievement that I’ve really made it in some way — no. my lovely friend whose confidence in me exceeds my own, is one of the organisers. in some way by making a friend and forcing them to join band with me in the 4th grade ive unintentionally networked. but the logistics of it is making my head fucking swim, it’s so overwhelming i dont even know where to start. ive got 3 weeks to consider but. yeah i might just turn it down tbh

trying to plot out a xichen/huaisang emma au solely for the purposes of slotting jin guangyao and nie mingjue into the already married siblings role. in theory this leaves us with no one to play emma's dad but no they're both emma's dad for maximum impact. and obviously jin guangyao is also the nanny. and it ends with huaisang vowing to be worse, actually.

2nd hearing test today and it looks normal thank FUCKKK. well ofc I'm still deaf, normal For Me
#actually idr if i mentioned it on here before i think i typed a rant and then closed the app before i hit post#but basically just a jumpscare my last audio tone graph came out Bad and they were like aw fuck youve lost a lot more hearing#which is WORRYING bc my deafness is sensorineural ie. from auditory nerve/brain damage not physical damage#so if it was suddenly getting worse well nothing they can rly do to figure out WHY its getting worse let alone try to fix it#but nah second test came out pretty much the same as usual. i think maybe bc i did the other one at the end of the day instead of early#morning maybe my auditory processing was just worse or smth it happens lol#well anyway they took fresh moulds so should be able to replace my 3 year old ones in a few weeks yayy#and im on the waiting list for new hearing aids with them too...and once i get them i can get an accessory to hook em to bluetooth#altho the nhs prolly wont cover it. but access to work should do if it comes to that 👍#my life is gonna get so much fucking easier when i can tune them into shit instead of switching them for super loud earphones#anyway gotta get my ass to work now blegh. always feels weird having my workday routine broken up#.diaries

I may have solved my Horrible Terrible No-Good Unpronounceable Unspellable Last Name conundrum by uh. Doing a direct translation. Which is something I could use as a ‘stage’ name / username for whenever I end up getting the chance to Have A Go at tattooing for real again. Which would need an instagram presence and maybe like business cards or just a handle that is rememberable & findable for ppl in my physical immediacies instead of like. #doctor who's been refusing to follow national advice from the nhs and association of gps to work with my private endo#and prescribe hrt as he recommends#was supposed to call this afternoon#having previously accepted that she would have to write such prescriptions#but only after id already started them privately#well my phone had its volume up all day#and it did not ring#i did get a missed call though#immediately followed by a text telling me to ring the reception to rearrange if still needed#this appointment was booked a month ago#i immediately ring the reception#it is still only a minute since the missed call#(she must have hung up as soon as it connected)#then I spend 15 minutes in a queue#which depressingly is a lot better than it often is#only to be told shes gone home for the day and the next time it can be rearranged for is in another month#at this point its clear theyre just going to keep pissing me around#so i need to find a new gp#as well as get and pay for another private prescription that should be covered by the nhs#and submit a complaint because jfc

the fact that i really love doing organisational stuff is literally the only thing that does not align with adhd and i feel like a sham when i say “man i really love organising stuff!!!” lol doesn’t mean that i’m good at sticking to it and i doing it super often. i just,,, i really like how satisfying it is, and its way easier to do organising digitally for example all this to say that i fkn love spending hours on end rearranging files and setting up a system so that my files look so neat
#shut up danni#anyways i've been putting music on my phone for the past idk couple weeks#and its going SO GOOD it's slow going atm bc wow there is a lot of songs i want to download#some of them i'd already downloaded but my meticulous nature when it comes to organising means im editing metadata for them#so uhhhh 3k+ songs? yeah that's gonna take a while lol#im gonna be downloading literally everything that i can think of#like game soundtracks show soundtracks anime soundtracks cover artist songs literally everything#i got 500gb memory for a reason and if i don't fill at least 20% of it up with music then what is even the point#adhd things#but yeah i also know that adhd people are not a monolith so dw i know im not faking having adhd#i think i'm in the process of getting that diagnosed i can't remember#i'm doing a bunch of things that needs referrals at my doctors lol#one of them being trans stuff so fingers crossed i can find a way to get top surgery on the nhs before terfs shut that down#there's no way i'll be able to afford it privately so i'm gonna have to wait to be able to do it on the nhs sigh#but yeah my hopes are not v high in the first place because five years ago i got misdiagnosed and my identity brushed off so like :)
