@nextlater // first meetings
The thing about pubs is, everyone tends to go there, once or twice- not always, but you do tend to go, usually with your friends. There's a game on tonight, so it's also a very crowded with people watching it and hoping to celebrate the game's results.
She's currently sitting down, on one of the few tables with any seats you could feesibly take, given she had gotten there just in time to get a table. Some people politely asked and took chairs to join tables with others too. Her drink ( spiced rum and coke, one of her favourites ) is half full, only having two others before this.
"Oh," She says, upon seeing a man looking around for a seat. "I have a spare if you need one!" She's not sure if he needs it to join tables with someone else or not, but hey, she's not gonna deprive the man of a chair.

"A cup of coffee for you, Ceara?"
— @nextlater (Katarina)
"E-Eh..? A... cup of coffee..?" Shoot, she doesn't usually drink coffee... How should she answer...?
"...I uh... I'm fine with water..!" That's a bit better, but also, it's not juice. She's trained herself in the art of 'being fine with drinking water' at least.

@nextlater liked for a starter with Shinji Ikari
Shinji was walking around aimlessly killing time until Misato was out of her meeting with whoever it was she was meeting with. after a moment he came to a park were several people were playing chess. Misato had ordered him to learn the game, although he wasn't sure why exactly. A few of the players looked to be about his age so it caught his eye, not that he was confident enough to do anything other than watch very conspicuously.
#nextlater#Muse - Shinji#wrote this with Ayumu in mind but whoever is fine with me#I hope this works okay

@nextlater from here
“I definitely don’t have any memories of things like that, growing up. I think if I did I wouldn’t have as much trouble with computers as I do. It’s okay though, like you said.” Well, it mostly was anyway. Sometimes it felt like a huge weight on his social credentials. At least with certain crowds it did anyway. “And uh, just for the record- shrubs and bushes are really the same thing! In case you weren’t being rhetorical or making another joke- ha.” Ha. Oh he was going to make it awkward again, wasn’t he?
If Raguna had been considering asking Judyta for advice about computers, he sure wouldn’t be doing that now. She could be commended for staying as busy as she did, but there also came with it an air of distance. Well, Raguna, there are people out there who claim you’re too nice. Expecting it of others is your own misstep. The young man smiles with a sigh, slowly navigating his way into the login process for his computer. Oh, that tapping technique for the keyboard. It’s effective at least?
“Cooking isn’t that hard to learn. I make most of my meals when I have the time to do so. Even if it’s just something simple. But uh. The homework assignment. Right. I was thinking something like…” Now was good a time as any to slip into a bit of work mode. The assignment wouldn’t finish itself. For all his fumbling with computers, at least his reading comprehension was strong and the young man was good at picking out themes in the text. “…it’s hard to write about it though. Because I wasn’t a big fan of the protagonist. Don’t they come across as a little too self centered?”

"Do you ever think you were born in the wrong decade? Or wish you were born earlier, I mean?"
@nextlater — Sayaka
"In all honesty, I never thought I was born in the wrong decade neither wish being born earlier. And you?" She was curious to know.

Continued from here. | @nextlater
With winter bearing its teeth, ready to savage the United States with its boreal fury and biting weather, Bernadotte was beyond willing to forsake his little apartment in the redwoods for the opportunity to meander around in better conditions… even if it did start out in a low place. The blond threw open the lid of the bin, its stench finally registering as fresh air wafts in. In Las Vegas, it could only go up from there.
"Trash again... great. God forbid that I end up someplace decent on one of these trips and not end up the most repugnant, malodorous man around with god-knows-what all over his clothes... could be worse though, I suppose. At least there aren't rats this time..."
#{Main | Bernadotte}#nextlater#{Queued}#|| I moved over to the beta editor so I replied in a new post. Hope you don't mind -w-;

@nextlater liked for a holiday starter w/Twins!
The two flawless glided across the frozen pond. It was sort of a hidden talent of theirs, but, they would hold off on showing off until they knew if their guest could keep up.
"So, do you need to hold our hands?" It sounded like a tease but, it was an earnest question.
"Also, don't worry. We’ve skated on this lake before, and it's definitely solid enough." Andrew added, trying his best to be reassuring.

"Everything okay? You took a nasty sort of spill there." There was concern on the blonde's features as she knelt down near the other. "Is anything broken? Hurt? Bruised? Twisted? I can patch it up as best I can and take you to Mondstadt so a doctor can look at your injuries."

@hanafuda-s-p-a || @nextlater asked:
"Ah, Sie sprechen Deutsch!" Miriam stood up straight. "Wie geht es Ihnen heute? Wo kommen Sie her?"
"Ich könnte ein Bier vertragen. Und Ihnen?"
“?!”
        Huh?! Who was this?!
    There is a spot of confusion from Fischl, as she tries to sort out what’s being said to her - gotta make sure she’s understanding right.Â
“Einer ist in Ordnung, obwohl Sie sich Ihrer Absicht nicht sicher sind.“
    A shake of her head.
“Ich bin der Souverän des Immernachtreichs, Fischl von Luftschloss Narfidort – und nein, ich habe keine Lust auf ein Bier.”

"They seemed to be in the bag. The key isn't too big, so perhaps its an apartment key or a door key?" Honestly she had no clue what it was all about, but as they opened the note, the address was there first. It wasn't too far off, along with an adress to another school which was also close to other address.
'You are formally invited to attend...' It was a school registeration form, already filled with all of her information as well as the letter of acceptance to the school. Though they were surprised of her coming in the middle of the semester, she had still been accepted as a transfer student, with her studies starting in a few days.
"W-wait, does this mean... I get to stay here?" Her wish. had it been granted in a some what weird way?
peopleoftheshadows:
Looking over her things and thinking about his words, she wasn’t completely sure what she wanted to do right away, but with everything she had, she also had as much time as she wanted and needed.Â
“I wouldn’t mind going and seeing the town a bit better. Maybe checking out what this adress in this note actually is and key for that matter.” She had a few guesses, since her wish had been made come true. Of course she’d miss her aunt, but she knew she could always call her now, that she actually had her phone with her and she wouldn’t be alone after all. She had a friend here.
“… huh? Key and note? What are you on about? Was it in your bag there, or…?” Uh-oh… checking out a strange address, huh? I bet we’re in for more madness if we go that route. … well!
“Let me see.”

@nextlater liked for a starter!
  “They’re kidding, right?” Wrong. There was absolutely no denying the huge list of flights cancelled on the board right in front of the crowd, the reason definitely being due to the large snow storm that was visible from the outside.
Letting out an annoyed groan, he turns his head to the nearest person, eager to complain. “I can’t believe the snow is this bad - the weather reports only said it would be light snow... where the hell did the storm come from?”

"Hey Syn, it's been right cold lately, how about a nice trench coat made by the best tailor in Kaunas?"
"... not myself, I have no idea how to do that. But some guy I know. Yeah."
@nextlater (that's Kazimieras right there)
"That's quite an offer, Kazimieras. I am lacking in coats down here, so consider me interested." The 'some guy I know' comment gets a chuckle out of her. Cheeky. "Is that right? Lead the way, then."

"Wowza!"
Three million?
"You sure were quick to tack on another three zeroes to my offer for someone so anxious-looking a moment ago. Shame I can't really come up with that amount."
She didn't merely run off with it, which comforted him. Figures swam around in his mind. "... I know enough to realize that that's far too low. ...
"Three million." That would be enough to cover all three years of his high school tuition, for certain.
