Get bestie yeah this is real. I don’t want to say “too big” but genetics do in fact play a role!! And the birth weight of the parents do factor in. Genetics is a player and so are some other factors that affect baby size in utero but yes babe genetics is in fact part of the equation! I see a lot of little mamas with these big guys and yeah! Bigger babies! so ask how big your future BD was at birth so you can factor in your odds

And that being said you absolutely can grow a baby that is bigger than your pelvic outlet allowance! Cephalopelvic disproportion! It can be hard to get these babies out :) and if they’re positioned in an unideal way on the way out! Oh boy! Lots and lots of work goes into it :) it’s not EVER easy to push a baby out but sometimes its even more difficult! Perineal lacerations are a thing! So! Yeah! Jump scare!
