#MemorialMonday: Today, we mourn the loss of a true legend who helped re-define Southern Rock and Country into what it is now, Charlie Daniels @thecharliedanielsband . Daniels passed away at age 83 from a hemorrhagic stroke and his passing left a huge hole in the heart of the music entertainment and the fans who enjoyed his entertaining music! I enjoyed listening to his music growing up. Almost three years ago (8/9/2017), I had the honor of photo shooting “The Charlie Daniels Band” at the NYS Food Festival held at the Empire State Plaza, Albany,NY. Kyle Bourgault asked me to photo & video shoot his band who opened up for Daniels and “The Scooter Brown Band”. Although I never met Daniels in person that evening, it was an honor to have the privilege to watch Daniels perform in the press pit and be involved in the NYS Food Festival. Thank you again Kyle, for the opportunity that I won’t forget. Thank you Charlie for your music and for entertaining us all these years.
