WORD FOR 2020 You are the Author of your life. What will you write about in 2020? This year I am called to LOVE. And I've chosen it as my WORD for 2020. Definition: LOVE= A feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a friend, for a parent or child; warm fondness or liking for another; also, the benevolent affection of God for his creatures or the reverent affection due from them to God; also, the kindly affection properly expressed by God's creatures toward one another; that strong or passionate affection for a person of the opposite sex that constitutes the emotional incentive to conjugal union. One of the synonyms for love is "devotion". Aside from those meanings, the Scriptures speak also of love guided by principle, (GREEK: Agape) as love of righteousness or even love for one's enemies, for whom a person may not have affection. This facet or expression of love is an unselfish devotion to righteousness and a sincere concern for the lasting welfare of others, along with an active expression of this for their good. - Insight on the Scriptures, Vol. 2 Love can be known only from the action it prompts. In other words: ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. God's love is seen in the gift of His Son. 1 John 4:8-10 = “8 Whoever does not love has not come to know God, because God is love. 9 By this the love of God was revealed in our case, that God sent his only-begotten Son into the world so that we might gain life through him. 10 The love is in this respect, not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a propitiatory sacrifice for our sins.” And so my intention this year is to imitate our Creator & Heavenly Father Jehovah & His Son, our King & Redeemer, Jesus Christ by including LOVE in all I say & do this year. May it be obvious that LOVE is abundant in my 💝 LIFE ❤️ SPEECH 💛 WORSHIP 💕 MINISTRY 💓 MESSAGE 💗 FAMILY 💞 FRIENDSHIPS 💚 WORK 💜 BUSINESS What is your “VISION” for this year? Is it 20/20?
