              Half a smile is offered up to him, swallowing as she allows the blanket to wrap around her shoulders, swallowing as she accepts the card to let green eyes drift over it. “My name’s Harry. It’s nice to meet you.” Fingers are extended to shake. “It’s been a really long time since I talked to a social worker. At least since I dropped out of the system.” Six years? Maybe a little longer. 

              A breath escapes her, head shaking a little. “All the social workers who’ve looked like social workers have sucked in my experience. It’s not a bad thing, not looking like your typical employee.” Dimples show as she smiles again, letting out a breath as she does. "It sounds like you found the good way out. And you’re paying it forward. That’s admirable.” She smiles again, pushing fingers through her hair. 

                “I’m... Okay. Just had something happen. Dragged up some bad memories.”

as the music from the credit scene from the movie they had been watching starts to play,  Kaylee’s eyes will slowly open blinking a few times before noticing her head on Noel’s lap.  a sigh comes before slowly sitting up,  looking to their daughter nuzzled up into her dad’s side and him asleep with his head tilted back onto the back of the couch.  moments like this Kaylee wished they could just work it out,  maybe even suck it up and stay together for their daughter,  but she knew it wouldn’t be healthy for either of them. 

pushing the thoughts away she’ll stand,  walking over to lift Izzy up to carry her to bed,  making sure not to wake her up as she does.  eyes will look to Noel again hearing him start to move and she’ll sigh.  “ sorry..  you can go to the bed if you want.  I can stay out here. “  Kaylee will whisper to him while rubbing Izzy’s back.
