She was the last little one left of a two hour Joy House class I did this week! I have to say all the kids were so incredibly focused and worked so hard sweating in the heat with only one water break. They were really focused for two hours and I have never seen that and I am talking 2 to 5 years old kids focused for 2 hours it was amazing! My classes are usually a fast passed 1 hour but the school director wanted me to keep the kids busy from 4 to 6pm. So it was a full on 2 hours and it was so easy to keep them captivated, learning and entertained! There is such a huge need! I tell you all kids young and old are craving structure, hard work (this is the magic secret that builds self confidence) and are all wanting to learn, work out, sing, dance, do gymnastics, do art, create, get up and do something and have fun! They all said “Miss Joy can you coming back tomorrow?”
When Miss Joy gets her way any kid anywhere in the world will be able to go to The Joy House! So I guess I can do this! I have written hundreds of songs for The Joy House, created and edited (analogue)The Joy House TV Show (that China wanted internet rights too back in 2005), I created thejoyhouse.com back when Network Solutions ran the domain names and when websites were born and I built my website with dreamweaver but now it needs revamping big time! I need to take old school and make it new school! So disappointed in people that promised to help but never did so I am going to have to build my own site on my own or raise money to get Go Daddy to help me build an online e-commerce store. It will have everything finally in one place! JOYHOUSTV - Miss Joy and The Joy House for kids, Joy House Music For kids, The Joy House Fun House, The Joy House Dance Party, The Joy House Shop. Going to have to find ways to bring the kids to The Joy House. Instead of Miss Joy going out and making The Joy House! I know there is a huge need! I also heard on the radio yesterday the music that is most popular right now is country and children’s music! Plus I have to make a new rundown for the new TV Show! I just love seeing kids focus on whatever they love doing! I always remember during my middle school and highschool years at Scotch College I would always go to the art room to work on my art during my recess and lunch break. It was my “happy place”. Then after school it was the gym and the ballet studio. When I won “Flashdance” for South Australia and then did Countdown that opened my eyes and ears to the pop world. I still wanted to be a ballerina so I joined a ballet company at 15 and toured Australia, studied ballet at The Princess Grace Ballet School in Monte Carlo and College of Performing Arts but when I did CATS I just knew one day, someday if I followed my heart” that I would create a place to bring the arts, sports and pop world’s together. A positive and happy place for kids. A place where all kids if they wanted could learn and try whatever they had a passion for from the best of the best. This is is my dream for The Joy House for all kids to have a chance of doing something they love not just the privileged. I truly believe if people could find a way to do what they truly love I really think the world would become a happier place. There would be less depression, less addiction, less teenage suicide, less mass shootings, less prisons, less everything. Most of this world is stressed out and unhappy because most people are not doing what they love to do❤️ Finding ways to do what I love not only saved me in every possible way but it has inspired me to show others how to do it. That is why I started writing songs, moved to London and then to Los Angeles where I saw a huge need and created The Joy House. Last night the show went great. Miss Joy brought Santa out and we all started to sing the festive holiday singalong song Miss Joy wrote “It’s Christmas Time” with Santa it was cool and then .....someone knocked the DJ out....oops ...poor Santa, sorry Santa accidents happen but the show must go on! (One year we will get it right!) This is a perfect example of why if there is no music there is no “Joy House” because Joy House Dance Music creates a vibe that just makes kids and people happy and Miss Joy only writes songs that make kids and people happy and seeing kids, parents and teachers happy makes Miss Joy happy. This is why she does what she does and why she never gives up on her big dream of Miss Joy and The Joy House for kids being available for every kid in the world.
