Céline’s first song Ce N’était Qu’un Rêve (it was only a dream) was released 37 years ago in her home region Québec, Canada. The song was written by her mother and brother. Released on her debut album La Voix Du Bon Dieu in the same year it has become one of the most iconic songs by Céline.

It was announced this week that there will be a new material released from Prince, who passed away two years ago. Back in the early 90′s when Céline was starting her English language career, Prince heard her singing and wrote a song called With This Tear especially for Céline. It was released on her second English album Celine Dion in 1992. Check out the interview of Walter Afanasieff, the producer and Céline about it.

Fais Ce Que Tu Voudras (do whatever you want) was released to launch Céline’s compilation album Les Chansons en Or in 1986. The music video was one of Céline’s firsts! The song was written by Réne Grignon from Québec and Eddy Marnay from France which the later wrote majority of Céline’s production during the 80′s.
