We're behind at work. Like, way behind at work. Behind enough that the Powers That Be (i.e. the department head who is terrified of sullying his pretty PowerPoint with subpar statistics) have let the standard issue health insurance folks at the high care patient claims. If these people open a claim and don't finish it, they have to put what the problem was.

My first claim of the day had someone abadon ship because there was a bill for "scary physiotherapy" and we didn't have a note saying if it's justified.

The patient's nerves are turning to burning goo as per every bill we get, as well as the preceding prescription for "physiotherapy for central nervous disorders". We have 14 notes justifying every other physical therapy and medication that might delay the inevitable. High care patients get at least two annual assessments to make sure they are adequately cared for both medically and in everyday life.

Mx. Chuckles wants an additional, 800 euro assessment to make sure they really have a neurological condition.

Someone please remind me of this the next time impostor syndrome sets in.
