Name: Azalea Syanthos Nereusou. Role: The Little Mermaid and The Sea Witch. Gender: Female.
Age: 18. Birthday: 18th September. Race: Mermaid.
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual.
Relationship Status: Single.
Place of Origin: Kouralion Courts.
Grade: First year college student at Praefatio Academy.
Dorm: Room 4, Torch of Coral.
Classes: [COMING SOON BY TERM.]
Azalea is the second youngest child of the Nereusou-Poseidonou clan from the Kouralion Courts, and Nerissa’s twin sister. While her family has heavy Greek Pantheon lineage, Azalea is the first in her bloodline to be a fairy tale, thus making her both a Fable and pseudo-Greek deity.
At a young age, she had a curiosity for magic and the arcane, particularly from seeing her mother’s talent in witchcraft. Additionally, she was a very well-known for her beautiful singing voice, its peerlessness perhaps the first sign that she was going to be written as The Little Mermaid.
She attended Praefatio Academy since preschool with Nerissa, her mother’s alma matter, but was expected to transfer to Olympia Academy like her other siblings. However, having chosen the fairy tale route, Azalea continued to attend Praefatio. Some time in high school, she was announced to be a member of The Fairest Five, her rank being The Fairest of Them All.
During her last year of high school, Azalea changed her fairy tale destiny by become both The Little Mermaid and The Sea Witch, thus causing a bit an upset with the Seelie and Unseelie Courts, while some of the other Fable folk reacted more positively. Azalea’s standing to the public view is half-and-half, and the constant talk about her has turned her more timid, and reserved.
Azalea grew up with Conan Hemming, a descendant of The Big Bad Wolf, whom is her best friend, and additionally another reason why she didn’t want to leave Praefatio.

THE SOUND OF REVERIE.
Basics.
Full Name: Rosalie de Cristaux. Aliases: Rosie. Title: The Bridge Between Worlds, The Bridge, Gatekeeper, Lady. Birthday: 8th September. Race: Fae. Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual. Relationship Status: Dating Xemnas (Soulmate). Home World: Château de Cristaux. Other Residences: Twilight Town, The World That Never Was. Family: Baudouin de Cristaux (father), Giselle de Cristaux (mother).
OH, I INHALE YOU IN SMALL DOSES …
Physique.
Biological Age: 22. Eye Colour: Lilac. Hair Colour: Rose bloom pink. Height/Weight: 168 cm/64 kg. Build: Hourglass. Skin Tone: Relatively fair. Face Shape: Oval, chubby cheeks.
… AND ADORE YOU LIKE THE ROSES.
Personality.
Rosalie doesn’t see the world in black or white. Rather, she believes that things are always in the grey area, and that everything happens for a reason. She sees things in the point of view of others, particularly like how not everyone has the same definition of what’s right and wrong.
As the prime source of what keeps the Worlds connected, Rosalie knows and understands the weightage upon her shoulders, along with the responsibilities that she has to handle with the job.
Although Rosalie takes her role seriously, she isn’t completely serious, stiff, or uptight, but rather lighthearted and carefree for the most part. She is often seen as cheerful and upbeat, always seeing the positive side of things no matter how bleak a situation may be.
She is also quite intelligent, particularly in battle strategy and risk management, being able to assess situations on the spot.
Remarkably friendly (and occasionally quite a loud mouth), Rosalie adores befriending the new people she’s met in her journey, regardless their personality; Be they standoffish, brash, eccentric, rude — It doesn’t matter, she welcomes them all with open arms.
Despite all this, there is some sense of negativity to being as easygoing as Rosalie is, as often when things don’t go her way or the way she thought they may go, she has to handle the situation to the best of her abilities. This makes her a bit of a pushover, or someone that can easily be walked all over. In her own opinion, Rosalie sees herself as someone with remarkably low expectations, thus not setting herself up for disappointment as easily.
Rosalie has always been a curious lass, even when she was younger. Maybe even a bit too curious for her own good, always keen on learning and discovering new things, places, and meeting people.
Furthermore, Rosalie doesn’t bask in the light, nor does she fear the darkness. She is comfortably situated in the centre between the two and between Xemnas’ thighs.
Beneath everything else, Rosalie can be seen as a very selfish person. For an example, she knew of Xemnas’ overall plans but never told any of the other Organization members, nor did she warn Sora, or anyone else for that matter. While this proves how loyal she is to Xemnas, it also shows how much she prioritizes him. However, Rosalie is not blinded by love, and steps in or intervenes with his plans if they put her duty in jeopardy.
ROSALIE’S HOME WORLD: CHÂTEAU DE CRISTAUX.
The inhabitants of Château de Cristaux are Fae-like people whom were guided and influenced by the Crystals within the underground of her family’s castle. While the World itself is named after the Château, it spreads to forests, villages, and farms on the outskirts towards the mines. The World is made up of mostly pastel and pearlescent colours, particularly on pinks and purples.
Rosalie’s people all had magic coursing through their veins, mostly used for healing, sustenance, and agriculture while Rosalie herself became the sole source of keeping the wards surrounding the World up, thus making her its guardian by extension.
Since separation of the Worlds, Château de Cristaux has been forgotten through magic, and former rulers have isolated the World and treated it like a haven and sanctuary, sealing anyone from entering or leaving without permission from the appointed gatekeeper.
As mentioned prior, her people, and Rosalie herself, are Fae-like, especially in their culture: beliefs, rituals, and spiritual connections. They see their Crystals as sacred, believing their very livelihood and lifespan depends on them, and refer to themselves as the Crystalline, though the term is rarely used due to a lack of outsiders that visit. Another ‘tradition’ is that eventually, at a certain point in their life, a Crystal will tell them who their Soulmate is, and a mating bond will form. Soulates of the Crystalline can be anyone, and only properly form after they’ve met, but don’t necessarily develop in an instant. Commonly, it is other Crystalline; However, some unlucky souls find their Soulmate in residents of other Worlds, and due to the wards, never get to meet or be with them. Mating bonds needn’t always be acted on or accepted, and sometimes are ignored completely in the modern times, believed to be part of old traditions.
The Crystals and the existence of the Cristaux bloodline is the sole reason why there is neither an excess of light or darkness in the World.
Baudouin was the former Bridge Between Worlds and thus its former ‘ruler,’ however Rosalie is the current bearer of the title.
THE DARKNESS IS NOT TAKING PRISONERS TONIGHT, MY DEAR.
A little bud in bloom.
The only child of Baudouin and Giselle de Cristaux, Rosalie was the next one to take up the mantle and role of the Bridge Between Worlds. Thus, her childhood and upbringing involved a lot of preparations for when she was mature enough to handle her duties. She experienced all sorts of training, all to hone the abilities that eventually would aid her; Particularly opening pathways or gateways for those with the ability to travel through them.
Her Home World is a lavish, elegant, and beautiful place, with her and her family having lived in a castle-like estate. While having a princess-like upbringing, Rosalie always had the heart of an adventurer, longing to explore the other Worlds she was groomed to protect the balance of.
The relationship between herself and her parents wasn’t necessarily warm, but fine all the same. Which was all the more reason why leaving home was easier for an adolescent Rosalie. She had inherited the title and responsibility from her father, who was a stern, and dedicated to his work; Only weak, and putting in the presence of his wife. Her mother was just as stern as her father. Despite the femininity of her name, Giselle was harsh and ferocious woman, built like an Amazon and originally the personal guard to Baudouin. The two married after their mating bond finally clicked after years of romantic tension, and during a brief courtship.
Although she doesn’t show it much in the current day, Rosalie felt significantly burdened by her responsibilities when she was younger, always feeling a sense of weight on her shoulders. Despite having to grow up fast, Rosalie had a pleasant childhood, having enjoyed herself as well as having a good environment to be raised in.
When Rosalie eventually came of age and was prepared enough, she was sent off to maintain the connections between all the Worlds.
The Darkness is not taking any prisoners tonight, my dear.
In her adventures, Rosalie travelled from the dry savannahs of the Pride Lands, to the underwater world of Atlantica, the Land of Dragons, Wonderland, and so on.
Each World provided her with the thrill of adventuring and discovery of new places, history, people, and stories for her to remember in the days to come.
Yet no amount of training or preparation could have prepared her for the outbreak of the Heartless. However, some of the Worlds disappearing was what brought Rosalie out at her busiest. Restoring the invisible threads that connected one World to the other while the ‘chosen’ she kept hearing about battled the darkness and locked the Keyholes. Rosalie eventually managed to reconstruct all of the destroyed Worlds once Ansem was defeated by Sora, Donald, and Goofy, and through the situation, she discovered new insight on both darkness and light.
In this moment I let go, with you.
And despite all this, the one place which left the biggest impact on her was one which wasn’t originally on her 'list.’ Having — quite literally — stumbled into The World That Never Was. This was where Rosalie met Organization XIII’s leader, Xemnas, for the first time, but only for a brief, passing moment. As the World was a bit too much for her to handle due to its uniqueness (much alike the End of the World), she had to leave to attend to the other Worlds once the Nobodies had began to spring up.
Still, her wish to properly meet the mysterious, hooded figure came true when they ran into each other in Twilight Town.
Even though she was well-aware that Xemnas was a Nobody, Rosalie’s significant soft spot for him was not ignored in the least. The two of them, despite one being overemotional and the other having a severe lack of emotion, became a couple. A very odd pair; She was the somebody that gave her heart to nobody. While not entirely agreeing with his methods, and goals, Rosalie never intervened with his plans.
Rosalie was devastated at Xemnas’ supposed defeat at the hands of Sora and Riku, yet still didn’t blame them whatsoever. Everyone had a different definition of what was right and wrong. Yet, that didn’t make it hurt any less, of course.
But then for some reason, he came back, they were reunited. Young Xehanort and Xemnas explained it to her but honestly what the fuck even why did they bring time travel into this. “You have a giant fucking forehead,” Rosalie yells at Xehanort, and Xemnas drags her away before things get out of hand. they have hot sex or something i have to check my fanfiction
After they were reunited, Rosalie told Xemnas that he was her Soulmate.
BEAUTY, AND GRACE.
Paraphernalia.
Attire.
Rosalie wears a white tube top with a black under bust, and with a black pair of panties shorts that have a chain belt across to fasten her ruffled cape skirt. She wears a pair of ribboned pink heels, black thigh high socks, and pink fingerless gloves. Her wavy hair is kept up in a ponytail, held back with a black hairband.
There is honestly nothing functional or practical about her outfit, but honestly at least there aren’t like fifty thousand unnecessary zippers.
Like really, what the Hell is going on over there?
Weapon.
Rosalie wields a metallic pink whip sword, adorned with a rose keychain and motifs across it. The radius of her weapon is wide, and has the ability to inflict damage on both Heartless, and Nobodies, though Rosalie doesn't normally come to blows with the latter.
Her choice of weaponry also permits her to open, and even close pathways if necessary. Though not entirely the sole source of her powers, her whip sword lets her use these abilities without draining too much of her energy as it would if she went freehanded.
Additionally, her weapon lets her open doorways, and with Xemnas' teachings, she is also capable of opening Dark Corridors.
Rosalie has various whip swords, all with differing names, and having a rose keychain. Her known weapons are: Wicked Rose, Savage Thorns, Dragon Spine (Ultima).
Abilities.
Everything has rhythm.
Rosalie is a skilled gymnast, thus making her quite flexible and quick on the battlefield. Her attacks do not deal great deals of damage too often (unless used in repetitive succession, such as Rosea Arcanum), but are very quick and often stuns her foes.
Her battle style uses a mix of both swordsmanship (when her whip sword is not detached), and a dominatrix whip user.

Inquisitor as a Companion.
Basics; —
Inquisitor’s Name: Aerdes Lavellan.
Race, Class, & Specialization: Elf, Mage, Arcane Warrior; Fire, and frost favour.
Varric’s Nickname for them: Rosy.
Default Tarot Card: The Empress.
Title: The Inquisitor (unofficially, post Trespasser), Keeper, First to the Keeper (formerly).
Birthday: Eluviesta, 9:23 Dragon.
Race: Elf (Dalish).
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual.
Relationship Status: Married to Iron Bull (presumably).
Religion: Old Elven.
Family: Nerite Lavellan (cousin), Clan Lavellan, Gérard de Noailles (adopted father), Penelope de Noailles (adopted mother), Mariette de Noailles (adopted sister).
Biological Age: 17-18 at the start of Inquisition, 21 at the end of events in Trespasser.
Eye Colour: Hazel.
Hair Colour: Dark brown.
Height/Weight: 163cm/55kg.
Build: Slim, and petite.
Skin Tone: Tan.
Distinguishing Features: Aerdes’ Vallaslin was originally a tattoo in respect to Mythal, however was later modified to resemble an Orlesian mask, imprinted onto her face. She also has a beauty mark under her lips, and a large scar going through her left eye.
—————
Personality; —
Aerdes is both the wind, and the mountain — She is flexible, and able to change her opinion on matters, yet at the same time is immovable if her mind is properly set on something. She is described as compassionate, as most of her actions are beneficial to others. Though, to the all-seeing eye, it should be noted that Aerdes’ actions also benefit her in some way. This is most likely from her time spent in Orlais.
However, Aerdes’ cunning and skills of manipulation aren’t negative, and more often than not meet the best interest in many others, as well as not harming them. Still, she does everything a certain way for a reason, always having an ulterior motive despite having the best intentions at heart. Perhaps the most selfless thing she has ever done was risking her life in the standoff between Corypheus and his Lyrium-infused Dragon, so that the others could survive Haven.
—————
Pre-Inquisition.
Born with magic pumping through her veins, Aerdes was appointed First to the Keeper at a ripe age of 13. Her magical capabilities, talents and ability to harness them were perfected at an early stage.
Her cousin, Nerite, was born within the same year as her, and were both coincidentally mages. However, Clan Lavellan didn’t send the latter away, and rather Nerite was appointed to be Keeper Deshanna’s Second.
This sparked a bit of a friendly rivalry between Aerdes and Nerite, however this is mostly one-sided on Nerite’s end.
The Lavellan Clan moved from place to place very often, and Aerdes was happy in the wild for the most part, however always wanted a little more adventure and not necessarily live as a vagrant.
Her wishes were sparked to life when a high ranking noble family from Orlais had lost their way through the woods after a failed assassination attempt, and were saved from Aerdes and Nerite from being attacked by wolves.
The house head, Gérard, and his wife, Penelope, were both grateful and fond of their Elven saviours, for their rescue saved them both as well as their young daughter Mariette.
After the clan had tended, sheltered, and aided the Noailles family, the head of the household offered a favour in return: Taking in one of the Lavellan clan’s members to experience living in Orlais, under the safety of the noble family. Aerdes was the only one keen to go, and through persuasion skills, the Keeper Deshanna and the Elders eventually let her go — Albeit with a great deal of hesitance.
Aerdes convinced her higher ups that her going to Orlais would prove beneficial for their clan, giving them more insight, connections, and perhaps a chance to better the opinions of City Elves and Orlesian nobles of the Dalish.
Gérard was the first person to notice the potential in Aerdes’ conversation and charismatic skills, and knew that she was capable of being moulded into a powerful player in The Grand Game.
For her protection of being both a mage and a Dalish elf in Orlais, Gérard suggested giving Aerdes’s Vallaslin a modification. Though not traditional, and perhaps disrespectful, the survival of their newly appointed, and future Keeper was vital. As every slave/servant in Orlais needed to wear a mask of their owners, Aerdes’ unique ‘tattoos’ would prevent her from being harmed in the city, for if she was killed and her body was found, people would know that she belonged to the Noailles.
This is how Aerdes got her more mask-like pattern for her Vallaslin, as opposed to the typical style; Ironically, her Vallaslin literally became slave markings.
Although recognized as a slave to the public, Aerdes was treated like a second daughter to Gérard and Penelope, and like an older sister to Mariette. The arrangement was beneficial to both Aerdes and the Noailles. As Aerdes was given access to books on old magics, as well being able to pick up whatever else other apostate children of nobles were learning, and additionally learning and experiencing The Grand Game and how it worked firsthand. As for Gérard and his family, owning a Dalish slave was admirable, and having branded Aerdes with her mask was seen as humiliating to other nobles.
Aerdes being a mage was suspected by many others outside the family, however there was never enough proof for this to be discovered.
She spent several years with the Noailles, up until she was 17. Afterwards, she returned to her clan, where she would later be propositioned with another ‘infiltration’ of sorts.
Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts.
Aerdes’ sharp tongue and wit is perfectly displayed in The Winter Palace in Halamshiral, where she outplays everyone with power or say (notably Empress Celene and Grand Duke Gaspard).
Upon arrival at the palace, many of the nobility recognized Aerdes by her distinguishing Vallaslin, however under the protection of the Inquisition and Gaspard de Chalons, neither Aerdes nor Gérard lost face in the discovery that the Inquisitor was a mage.
Initially receiving disapproval for both her race and her being a mage, Aerdes paid little mind to her comments of being a ‘knife-ear’ or an ‘abomination.’ Rather, she vividly displays her true colours in front of her associates, who realize there is more to her than they originally thought.
The first instance is in Aerdes finding Montbelliard’s Ring for a noblewoman, where the Inquisitor dances around the subject.
Prior to entering the palace, Aerdes’ snooping for secrets and eavesdropping did not go unnoticed to the Spymaster, who began to confirm her assumptions of the Inquisitor’s past and stay in Orlais.
While her suspicion and coy way of playing earned the approval of a few members of the court, to some of her companions, Aerdes seemed well in her element amongst the nobles — Even with Gaspard’s initial warning, Lavellan appeared to be far too comfortable in playing cunning.
After having entered The Winter Palace and proceeding to the ballroom, Aerdes was introduced as ‘Lady Inquisitor Aerdes Lavellan, formerly of House Naoilles.’
She speaks to Gaspard, Briala, Celene and her ladies-in-waiting shortly after the introduction. While seen as a ‘formality,’ it was also an opportunity to see things in each one of their perspectives.
Before speaking to Leliana, she mingles with the nobility. Some familiar faces remark that they she is very good at keeping secrets and covering her tracks, while others speak ill of her thinking that she can associate in their ranks. Regardless, Aerdes still manages to strike a deal with Lady Mantillon. Other Elven servants also interact with Aerdes, warning her of strange things happening in the Servant Quarters.
After the Inquisitor speaks to Leliana, they then discuss plans on what to do, as well as to be on the look out for Celene’s Arcane Advisor.
Once the attention around her had died down, and her companions began to get on the move, Aerdes then did investigations of her own: Starting with the Guest Wing, and later the Grand Library as well.
At one point, while returning to the ballroom for show, Aerdes meets Morrigan, the occult advisor mentioned by Leliana. She explains that she was attacked by a Tevinter agent, and passes the keys to the servant quarters.
Aerdes then takes her small party of companions with her to investigate the servant quarters and later the Grand Apartments, where they are greeted with a Venatori attack. They hunt down the Harlequin, and are later joined by Briala.
Briala states that she has noticed how ‘busy’ Aerdes had been, and thanks her and her companions for avenging her people that had been slaughtered. She offers the Inquisitor her alliance, along with her underlings, believing that Aerdes would be having a hefty say in the outcome of the negotiations.
Though vague, Aerdes implies that she might fancy Briala and her allies being on the Inquisition’s side, particularly because they both want better for their people as a whole, not just the City Elves or the Dalish.
Once the party returns to the ballroom, Florianna de Chalons requests a dance with Aerdes, saying that others cannot hear them on the dance floor.
After her dance with Florianne, Aerdes discusses their options with her advisors, who all give suggestions on who to save, and who to slay; Aerdes, however, believes there must be a reason the Duchess is throwing her own brother under the bus.
She later dances with Iron Bull, which shocks the court, but also fascinated them — especially after the Inquisitor’s dance with Florianne de Chalons. The attention and gossip about them humoured Bull quite a deal, remarking about how the Orlesians were struggling to piece together that the two were involved.
Needless to say, wagging tongues wouldn’t cease whispering about an Elven apostate with a Qunari mercenary.
Before the Inquisitor investigates the Royal Wing with her party, she approaches Gaspard and Briala with the material she has on them thus far.
In the Royal Wing, a hefty amount of dirt on Briala, Celene, and Gaspard land ever-so-nicely on Aerdes’ lap, properly sealing each of their fates in her hand.
Upon rescuing the Elf being attacked by the Harlequin, she receives blackmail material on Briala. In Celene’s private quarters, she discovers material on the Empress. And in the courtyard, she learns something vital about Gaspard.
She was later pressed and questioned by the three advisors on how well she was able to ‘fit in’ with the Orlesians, and beat them at their own game. Though Dalish by birth, and a firm follower of the old ways, Aerdes is as Orlesian as any noble. It is here where more light is shed on her past time in Orlais to her companions and her advisors.
Aerdes then tells the truth about her time as a temporary ‘slave’ in Orlais under the Noailles family educated her in the ways of The Grand Game, which thus explains how she managed to execute things to her favour, and get the ending she wanted: Celene remaining in power, with Briala putting in heavy input at her side. As for Gaspard? The bastard was beheaded, probably.
Leliana comments to Josephine and Cullen that Aerdes had possibly been playing all of them all along.
On the balcony, after the events have subsided, Aerdes and Iron Bull share a moment. She tells him that although the political games were fun, the highlight of her night was being reunited with adopted family. Bull then offers to make her night even better, and the pair of them dance for the second time in the ballroom (and also try to find more snacks).
————— —————
Where they are in Haven: In the apothecary.
Where they are in Skyhold: In the gardens.
Things they Generally Approve of: Reuniting Briala and Celene (major approval),
Side-quests or in conversation: helping the Dalish, not looking down on elves.
Things they Generally Disapprove of:
Feelings on the Mages:
Feelings on the Templars:
Friends in the Inquisition: Vivienne, Iron Bull, Dorian, Varric, Cole, Leliana —
Generally, Aerdes gets along with everyone. Her and Cassandra have differing views, but have a mutual respect for each other. Once specializations have been unlocked, party banter reveals that occasionally the two spar/train together. Aerdes changes Cassandra’s views on magic greatly, and similarly Cassandra makes Aerdes realize that there needs to be some restraints on magic.
Aerdes is particularly fond of Iron Bull, often flirting with him in a cheeky, albeit less than subtle manner. Bull entertains this, and comments on how forward Aerdes is for being so ‘inexperienced.’ If neither are romanced, and Dorian and Bull’s romance hasn’t been triggered, the two will eventually get together. Bull strictly calls Aerdes ‘Kadan’ after it has been locked in, and Aerdes calls him ‘Vhenan.’
Vivienne has a surprisingly good relationship with Aerdes. Originally starting out rocky, with Vivienne being a supporter of Circles and Templars, and Aerdes being more of an apostate. However, the two soon find common ground in their love of Orlais, and The Game. Aerdes being a terrific player impresses Vivienne, and the two tend to talk about their reputations in Orlais.
—————
Banter; —
When she sees a Dragon:
Travel Banter with Canon Companions of your choice:
Aerdes: So, Madame de Fer.
Vivienne: La Dame Peinte.
Aerdes: I wasn’t aware gossip of me would reach the ears of the Enchanters. I’m almost honoured.
Vivienne: My dear, gossip of you spread like wildfire in Orlais. You’re lucky the Noailles family are practically royalty. I’m surprised that news of an Elven apostate practically being an entertainer in the Imperial Court hasn’t cost you your life.
Aerdes: I was still more a servant like the other elves than anything else. Besides, I think the branding on my face seemed like a punishment to the Orlesians. Even though it’s a mask I wear with pride.
Vivienne: Once again, I’m curious as to how the other nobility didn’t try to get rid of you, my dear.
—————
Vivienne: You certainly have a way of charming the nobles in Skyhold, don’t you?
Aerdes: You mean for a Dalish Elf that was once a servant? (Laughs.) It’s easier when they’re out of Orlais. The more eyes that are watching them that aren’t Orlesian, the more vulnerable they are.
Vivienne: Are you sure you aren’t Orlesian by blood?

FEATHERS UNDER MY DRESS.
Basics.
Full Name: Fenella Swan. Aliases: Fen, Fenny, Fenella Danseus, A Minor Problem. Title: The Swan Queen. Birthday: 7th April. Race: Swan. Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual. Relationship Status: Dating Reizo Rinkaku (Mate). Place of Origin: Swan Lake. Religion: Agnostic. Family: Von Rothbart (Father from Odile’s bloodline), Unnamed step-mother (From Odile’s bloodline).
LET ME DANCE SECRETLY IN YOUR HEART …
Physique.
Biological Age: 17. Eye Colour: Turquoise. Hair Colour: Ash black, with white streaks. Height/Weight: 171 cm/58 kg. Build: Slim, tall, and very well-endowed. Skin Tone: Pale (formerly, post rebirth), tan (currently). Face Shape: Oval, very delicate features. Swan form: Dominantly black feathers, however also with white ones.
… WHERE NO ONE ELSE CAN SEE.
Personality.
Fenella’s personality is unique in the sense where she cannot be described as having positive traits or negative traits on their own, for she is a fusion of both Odette and Odile, thus having their characteristics respectively.
Odette.
This side of Fenella is a curious young maiden, always out and about in the world to learn and explore more. She is also kindhearted, calm, and understanding. Brave, courageous, and near fearless, which can be evidently seen from how carefree she is when she dances, no matter where she goes in her endless dancing travels.
Odette’s personality in Fenella is what drives her to fight back from her curse and confinements. However, this side of her is also more stubborn, and hardheaded; Fenella is not afraid to speak her honest opinion if asked for it, though often has the good graces to hold her tongue depending on the situation. Her ‘never back down’ mentality sometimes puts her on a stage of trouble, though she’s rarely caught in a situation that’s too tough for her to really handle (not yet, at least).
Fenella has practiced manners and a polite way about her, this gives her the graces and charms of a lady. She is effortlessly elegant, both with Odette and Odile’s personalities, as a given from her ways as a ballerina.
Odile.
Her slightly more darker side can be seen in Odile’s characteristics. However, it’s not all completely negative. Fenella is seductive and charming should she see the need to be so, though occasionally, without her proper realizing it, her dances portray a more alluring side to her nature. At times, this side of Fenella can be very vain, and unappreciative of what she’s given, or granted; To an extent, she can also be awfully greedy. She has a fondness of showing off, particularly her clothes and ballet slippers.
Fenella also has a sense of cunning, which is disguised by her sweet and friendly personality from Odette’s half of things. This trait has garnered her the ability to get others to do what she wants for her, particularly material things. While she can be seen as heartless or selfish for all this, it’s more so of a means of herself to survive. Furthermore, Odile’s persona has given Fenella a sense of self-confidence, assurance, and authority.
The swan’s charms have proved useful, as this is how she gets what she needs: Clothes, food, and an occasional shelter, or place to stay.
Both sides of Fenella’s personalities love to dance, and perform; She sees as all the world as a stage, and everyone she comes across as an audience.
THE BIRD WITH A BROKEN WING.
The caged bird dances.
Fenella was once two separate beings entirely; Odette, and Odile. Von Rothbart, a powerful sorcerer who often affiliated himself with birds like owls, and ravens, had originally sought to rid of Odette, and replace her with his daughter, Odile. Odette had been turned into a swan because of her step-mother, who was affiliated with Rothbart. Eventually, she had caught the eye of Siegfried, and eventually the prince and her fell in love. She was to marry Siegfried, however Rothbart sought to intervene, in hopes to seize a kingdom, or two.
Seigfried eventually threw a ball where he was to choose his bride, and had invited Odette. Rothbart, however, sealed her away, and replaced her with Odile. Siegfried, unintentionally betraying Odette, though she manages to show up, only to witness this.
Seeing her flee, the prince that realizes that a trick has been in play when he witnesses Rothbart fly away as an owl. Giving chase to the original Odette, Siegfried and her realize that the curse of her being a swan was never to be lifted, and the two then decide to die together in the lake. Thus, leaving Rothbart and Odile with nothing accomplished.
Not satisfied with this, Rothbart decided to rewrite this story, and instead of having Odile and Odette as two different beings, he decided to fuse both the white swan, and the black swan together.
With Odette having committed suicide, half of the problem was solved for Rothbart and his new plan. All that's left was Odile — So he murdered his own daughter, and threw her body into the lake that Odette and Siegfried had died in, and where their bodies were resting.
Rothbart combined Odile and Odette’s essences and souls, fusing the pair to become one person as opposed to two. His intentions were to use the black and white swan to his advantage in a power play, practically planning in using his daughter as a concubine to princes and kings in disguise before taking over their kingdoms.
This is what lead to Fenella being born, though what Rothbart didn’t foresee was that Odette’s personality to fight back from being controlled (and to some extend, Odile’s), and their two strong personalities would be overpowering to his puppet strings.
Destined to shine for a single lovely night, and then to fade and fall.
Fenella escaped from Swan Lake after her ‘rebirth,’ now seeking to make her own story, and choices; She refused to die for some man, and additionally refused to be some sort of pawn to a man’s plot of self-gain. However, Fenella still carries the curse of turning into a swan — Though this only occurs at nightfall, and when she’s near a body of water. However, as of recent, she has been able to control when she shifts.
Her newfound freedom, though liberating, has proved to have several struggles. Fenella doesn’t have a home, or a place to turn to, and often has to convince or charm others into giving people food, or clothes, or any sort of survival need. Furthermore, Fenella doesn’t have a destination to go, or any idea where she is for the majority of the time. She has danced in forests, towns, villages, cities, and less than safe or even forbidden locations like war zones, or camps.
Still, the little bird has avoided being killed or gotten into a situation where people seek to harm her, often because her ballet dancing is seen as captivating, and a distraction.
This, while seems like a good life for an adventurer, is also very tiring and hard for Fenella, as she has no real purpose other than to run from Rothbart’s attention, doing everything she can to avoid having her story be told by anyone else other than herself, furthermore avoiding the chances of her life becoming a tragedy, again.
Fenella befriended the mob bat prince named Reizo Rinkaku sometime during her travels, very often using his home as a place of refuge. While Reizo was suspicious of her reasons in constantly returning, he let it slide even after learning the truth, with Fenella telling him about her travels, misadventures, and her debts.
Due to Odile being in one of her past lives, Fenella is a capable sorceress which aids her in getting away, and surviving. With practice, Fenella would probably be a more skilled and adept magic user. However, she avoids using it too much due to her father being able to sense her magic.
Despite her seeming to live like a person who needs hand-me-downs, or like a charity case, Fenella has a royal status of sorts; She is regarded as the Swan Queen, though the title may not have value to too many.
Fenella used to be on the constant run, and never in one place for too long. She has a lot of IOUs, and favours owed to people, in a constant loop. The swan has ‘stealthily’ moved in with Reizo, finally having some shelter over her head. After one night of sleeping together, the pair’s relationship began to be a lot more intimate, and eventually lead to them dating.
I KNOW WHY THE CAGED BIRD DANCES.
Paraphernalia.
Attire.
Fenella wears tutus and bodices, like any ballerina. Her clothes change every now and then, however, the Venetian-styled mask in the design of a swan normally always covers her face when she’s in cities, towns, or kingdoms. Additionally, she wears ballerina slippers that have ribbons that go up to her thighs, they are mismatched in colour, but are solid black and white on either leg. Her clothes always have intricate designs, and are made of the most expensive, and most delicate fabrics. Fenella’s ballerina slippers are never worn out. She also has a feather motif as a consistency.
Her most consistent outfit is a black bustier with a zipper on the front and poofy off-shoulder sleeves, and a tutu-like black skirt. She also wears a pearl and ribbon choker.
Abilities.
Everything has rhythm.
With Odile having been a sorceress, Fenella has held onto the prowess and skill. While her magic is capable and quite strong, she avoids using it to prevent being sensed and found by Roth.
Previously, she was capable of shapeshifting into several different types of birds, however can only turn into a swan, now. She still can, however, turn other people into animals or creatures.
Everything dances.
The Swan Queen is a very talented dancer, with perhaps nobody to rival her dancing talent. Though only skilled in ballet, this has aided her in avoiding get caught, or dodging things in the line of danger. Essentially, her dancing skills are what keeps her alive. As often, her trespassing may put her in trouble, Fenella has used her talent as distractions, a way to flee, or even giving a performance for spare change, or for payment.
She has the ability to turn into a swan, when she’s under the moonlight and near a body of water (more effectively, lakes). Though she garners the ability to fly, and float along water, this renders her as vulnerable on occasion, as if in the line of hunters, she may be viable as a target. Fenella’s swan form is of black and white feathers, though notable, she has more black feathers than white.

… IN WAR, WE FIND OUT WHO WE REALLY ARE.
Personality.
Positive.
Zosime is a wise woman, the one good thing that came from her long, tiring life. Other than her peerless beauty, her daughters inherited Zosime’s curious nature, with an unquenchable thirst of knowledge. With the wisdom she’s earned through her adventures in the past, and from her life’s experiences, she’s very talented in finding ways to adapt in the different places she’s travelled to, and in any kind of situation/environment.
She is effortlessly charming, thus making it easy for her to get out of any situation no matter how difficult it may be, or how complex her misadventures may be. Zosime has survived even the most threatening of predicaments by using her wit and charisma to their fullest potential, which is what many believe is what got her out of the worst predicaments. She is also incredibly independent, never truly relying on anyone other than herself, along with being direct/honest when her schemes or lies are unearthed.
There really isn’t anyone that can outsmart Zosime, even if they have her cornered and in a stationary position for a long period of time; At one point or another, she will find a way to turn the tables to her own advantage. Her resilience and perseverance are undeniably another trait that Nerissa and Azalea have inherited, ergo why her daughters are more forward in going after the things that they want, as compared to her sons. This, though not applied to wars or anything of the like directly, has garnered Zosime the reputation of quite the tactician and strategist — For her own gain, of course.
Zosime is also very perceptive, and often her judge of character is accurate.
Despite being a stranger to nearly everyone she meets at first, Zosime is effortlessly charismatic, and earns the trust or at the very least, the acceptance of those she meets. This is essential to her survivability, as talking herself out of situations, or in some cases, into situations, is necessary.
She always knows what she wants, and her determination is unwavering.
Negative.
Zosime is arguably even more manipulative than the former Sea Witch, Ambrosia. This is evident by the way she managed to wrap even the cunning and conniving Ambrosia around her finger for many years. Her charms have helped her make her way through life mostly unscathed, and always achieving whatever it is she’s chasing for. However, the backlash of this that it often hurts those around her, even if they are people she cares for.
To this, some may say Zosime is cruel, and to some degree, heartless. This can be seen in how she uses anyone she can to achieve higher social status, objects of interests, or even just a place to rest her head; She has no idea how to stop, nor does she necessarily know when it is too far.
Therefore, by extension, Zosime is notorious for never letting anyone ‘in.’ She pushes herself away before anyone can get too close, or before she grows too attached; A prime of example of this situation is her very on-again, off-again marriage to Nereus. Zosime isn’t used to being in one place for long (unfortunately, something that weighs on Nerissa’s own personality), thus she gets restless and antsy if she’s committed to someone or something for a long stretch of time.
She is a terrible, terrible mother. Zosime cares very little for her children’s wellbeing, often seeking to put them in the care of others so that she does not have to carry the burden. While this traumatized them, she claims that it was better that way.
What Zosime wants is a permanent mystery. No one really knows what it is she seeks in life, and neither does she.
THE TIDES STOP,  JUST TO WATCH YOU.
The sea is filled with tears.
Much of Zosime’s history is a mystery, and for the most part she tries to cover up, or deny anything; Though some things are salvageable. For instance, Zosime’s origins and species was heavily fabricated and glamoured, and rarely anything has remained consistent over the years. Though not necessarily lying, she also has a way of avoiding the truth.
Zosime’s species is the key example of what she’s good at hiding. Since her childhood, Zosime was disguised and glamoured as an abyssal mermaid, of the jellyfish family. Her true natural being was that of a sea dragoness, though still an abyssal. The reason(s) why she has kept this hidden is unbeknownst to many, for she refuses to tell, though it’s speculated that she does this to hide her identity of her paternal roots, or that she was avoiding unwanted attention of being a rare type of species.
That being said, passing by as an abyssal jellyfish mermaid made things easier to blend in, which essentially seemed good at the beginning, though the struggle of making a name for herself proved to be difficult after a little while.
She was never really a settler.
Zosime is a daughter of Poseidon, though she never knew who her mother was. This, though she may not make much of an issue about it, plays quite the role in her own position of being a mother. She was left to be raised by a chantry in the Caspian Colonies, though during her childhood, Zosime knew that she didn’t want to spend the rest of her life on holy ground, or anywhere near and religious beings or practices; She wanted to be free.
Never really one to care too much about her parents, though Zosime’s lack of proper upbringing resulted in her growing up to be a rather bitter, manipulating, disdainful, and frigid bitch. Her lack of a maternal presence may have been what caused her to not see the need for her children to depend, or require their mother; Though she denies this.
This is how to be a heartbreaker.
Her childhood was spent growing up in a chantry, though she herself was never too religious despite knowing a hefty deal about it. Zosime was a chantry maiden that cleaned up the house of worship.
The peers she had were mostly overbearing, and all socially climbing with under the table manipulations. Watching how those that the public saw as holy, and graceful play roles of crafty, deceitful beings is undoubtedly where Zosime’s own deceptive nature stemmed from. Years of observing until her early adolescence on how the game of social climbing and status was played, Zosime had become a talented player in the prime of her youth, and managed to manipulate and charm her way to progressively higher ranks.
Such ways eventually gave her the opportunity to open pathways to a life outside of what she had grown used to and known, which was young Zosime had been pining for since she was growing up. By spreading rumours, and planting little clues and evidence to be discovered, secrets that would expose the dirtier, shadier things that occurred under the table, and behind closed doors.
At the disgrace of the chantry, she found her exit to a path to a brand new life.
Her first step was to flee her hometown, and proceed to move towards a bigger place, targeting those with wealth or a remarkable social status to start her little game. She succeeded, charming her way to a status of mistress, taking advantage in gathering whatever she needed for her future travels.
Zosime always knew that she wouldn’t want to stay in one place for too long, wanting to see the world and sate her curiosity of the arcane magics.
Thus, she planned most of her travels ahead, albeit knew that there would be unforeseen consequences along the way; Still, she had utmost confidence in her abilities to charm her way through life. This characteristic would eventually prove to be what got her both in trouble, and out of it — Though most of the time, it’s been seen to get others in strife while Zosime would get off scot-free
Such a case would be after she decided that she was both done and bored with her ‘sugar daddy,’ proceeding to frame him for the murder of town’s physician, even though she was the one with the blood on her hands. Zosime never specified why she really killed the physician, though it might be because they got too close to discovering the truth on who she really was.
Zosime’s boredom has more oft than not caused the deaths of many people, though in her words, they are not always as innocent as they appear. To a woman such as Zosime, everyone wore masks, and had façades and games.
She didn’t make the rules, but she knows how to play the game, and she knows how to win, too.
I’m done getting pushed around by all of you.
In one of her adventures, Zosime ruffled the feathers of the wrong man, and was marked for the death. Having fled towards the Lastearian Abyss after a long chase, she earned several wounds and was thus desperate for any sense of shelter and help she could get her hands on. This lead her to crossing paths with Ambrosia Kallos, whom she won over with her familiar charm, and thus helped her with healing.
Zosime’s personality and free spirit eventually captured Ambrosia’s attention and curiosity, thus leading to the two of them forming a relationship, where Zosime persuaded Ambrosia to see more of the world outside of her own place of exile.
Though on the surface, the friendship between the two women seemed genuine, however unbeknownst to Ambrosia, Zosime’s intentions were more selfish. Once more seeking the next big opportunity, Zosime set her sights in earning a royal status once more.
So she left to to visit the Empire of Leviathans, where she caught the eye of Paal Fe’Vacys. Though he was married, his wife Lania, was believed barren due to her illness. Eventually getting outplayed by Paal, Zosime was to repay him of the privileges she was given by carrying his heir. Zosime, though already impregnated with Paal’s child (who would later be named Ertiex), was not having this. She thus fled back to Ambrosia, who helped her when her son was born, and aided in leaving him at a knight academy in another kingdom.
This turn of events was the first of many that put a stretch onto the friendship between the two women. Despite this, for several years, Zosime stayed with Ambrosia in her abyss to avoid getting caught. However, much like before, she grew tired of being hidden and kept in one place for too long, thus sought out somewhere else to explore, and someone else to set her sights on.
Her arrival to the kingdom Nereus ruled over was not unnoticed, and she garnered the attention of Nereus himself. He eventually tried to court her, much to the dismay of his wife, then. Zosime, though not having any intentions to fall for the man personally, she had no issues in rubbing it in Cordelia’s face that she had the fancy of the other’s husband. This rift between the two women expanded further when Zosime unintentionally got pregnant with Nereus’ son, who would later be named Dyros.
After giving Dyros up to the kingdom’s knight academy, she left to return to Ambrosia. Her son with Nereus was kept a secret for many years, for this would avoid a scandal and a revolt.
Ambrosia, however was suspicious about Zosime’s behaviour. Despite the fact that the pair of them were going on adventures and travels like in the good old days, The Sea Witch suspected that Zosime’s heart wasn’t fully in it. Without her own knowledge, Zosime longed to be with Nereus, having fallen for him in their time together.
She then went to visit him several years later, where Zosime would leave pregnant with a daughter (who would later become her twin daughters, Azalea and Nerissa).
Run fast for your children.
Growing tired of Zosime constantly leaving her for others, Ambrosia then devised a scheme to pass her title to someone else. Though not having any heirs of her own at the time, Ambrosia decided that the child Zosime was carrying would be the next to carry her burdens; Her plan was discovered by Zosime, but there was little she could do about the situation at this point. Furthermore, she would later on force Zosime to choose between her and Nereus.
Ambrosia helped Zosime in the deliverance of her baby, though Zosime chose to leave Ambrosia, and sought to do the right thing for her child for once, and leave Azalea under the care of Nereus. She, however, chose to avoid letting them know of Azalea’s future.
To her dismay, Zosime chose Nereus over Ambrosia, thus breaking off their bond, for good this time. Returning to Nereus’ side, though not without the disapproval of several peers, particularly Cordelia. Deciding that she should stay in the clear for the moment, knowing of the upcoming storm, she’d stage her own execution, which lead to scarring Azalea for many, many years.
Azalea eventually grew up to be a stunning image of her mother, which tormented Cordelia severely, to Zosime’s glee.
Zosime fled from place to place for many years, staying under the radar for the most part, especially to avoid the attention of Paal, who at that time already had children of his own with Lania, was still seeking to use her as a vessel to carry his offspring, due to her bloodline.
She eventually stayed at the Ephemeral Cathedral for many years. She watched as Utix Sybil was tutored and taught by The Peacewalker then, and having seen that the girl had a bright future ahead of her, Zosime would then ‘quietly’ aid in Utix inheriting the role. While the autopsy proved that The Peacewalker passed away due to an illness, Zosime knew better.
Regardless, unknown to anyone other than herself, Zosime is responsible for getting Utix Sybil the role of The Peacewalker.
After many years of isolating herself from her family, Zosime eventually returned. Though, not without having gotten rid of the one remaining thorn at her side: Cordelia. While her death would seem like an accident, Cordelia would not be missed by anyone — Aside from her children, perhaps. Oddly enough, her step-son Phrixos has grown fond of her somewhat.
Though there was a very distinct rift between her, Azalea, and Nerissa, Zosime eventually managed to stabilize her relationship with her daughters, and with Nereus as well. Though Nereus and her are very on-again, off-again, this is mostly a source of comedy. Nereus is the only person she has ever truly loved, even despite having to manipulate her way to his side. Their relationship is often seen as light-hearted, and humorous, and the pair, though failing as parents, have done a remarkable job in raising Sealbuto, their adopted grandson.
WRINKLES? THE ONLY WRINKLES HERE ARE ON THE CLOTHES, HONEY.
Paraphernalia/Equipment.
Weaponry.
Daggers/Knives — Zosime uses blades, much like her daughter Nerissa would adapt later on, and even inherit the knife she once used to nearly kill her with when she was an infant (or rather, Azalea). She has used her blades in many situations, particularly in her murders.
Alchemical Concoctions — Sometime in her life, Zosime must have had learned alchemy or apothecary from her travels, granted that she has no issues in conjuring up remedies or poisons should the situation need it. Poison has been something she used commonly in her little escapades, and she has mastered a way to not leave a trace in her victim’s body.
Attire.
Zosime uses very relaxed robes and gowns, regardless of her form. She prefers clothing with likeness to her jellyfish glamour, such as with long strips, and sheer material. After being crowned queen, her clothes have been more regal-like, with added shine, and sparkle along with noticeable amounts of jewellery. As a nod towards her two daughters, Zosime wears both white and black pearls in her accessories.
A FEW TRICKS OF THE TRADE.
Abilities.
Not a pawn.
Zosime’s voice is capable of wooing and luring land folk, enchanting them to her charms, like any other mermaid. Her voice, however, is special in a way that her lullabies have a healing way to them. This not only effects those on land, but also to other residents of the sea, for the most part. They are also good for calming or soothing others.
Furthermore, her bloodline has made her lifeline much longer than the average mermaid, for Zosime has exceeded her three hundred years of living.
A queen.
She is very skilled in magic involving illusions and glamorization, as evident from the way she could disguise herself as being a pure jellyfish mermaid for many, many years. She has also used this on others, manipulating their thoughts or even memories, especially in situations where she needed to keep her appearance, name, or anything else a secret.
Zosime’s abilities as a sea dragon give her a hefty amount of strength and durability, though she doesn’t entirely enforce this, as she prefers to be more delicate and careful with these kinds of situations. She rarely comes to the need to battle, but though never really specified, Zosime is trained much like an assassin, particularly with her preference to be stealthy, unseen, never caught, and with her cautiousness.
Trivia.
— Zosime and Nereus have several running jokes in their relationship. Such as making puns with her name (such as: ‘Nosime’ or ‘You are my Hosime.’), along with their sex tape having been leaked to the public, and that the pair of them are both terrible parents but have somehow become very good grandparents to Sealbuto.
— She collects vials, and other empty bottles.
— In her youth and before she decided to let her body and face age, Zosime looked exactly like Azalea.

FUCKING INSANE IN THE BRAIN.
Basics.
Full Name: Nyra Haemorinth. Aliases: Bloodbath, Twerp, Baby Sis, Little Vamp, Nya (by Nylis). Title: Chieftain. Birthday: 6th June. Race: Plasma mermaid. Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual. Relationship Status: Dating Vergil. Place of Origin: ??? Occupation: Chieftain of the Haemorinth Clan. Religion: A joke. Family: Nyx Haemorinth (oldest brother), Nylis Haemorinth (older twin brother), Hephery Haemorinth (father, deceased), Vaerin Haemorinth (mother, deceased).
THEY SAY THAT I’M DANGEROUS …
Physique.
Biological Age: 17. Eye Colour: Copper brown (normally), violet (when excited/feeding). Hair Colour: White-silver (originally), platinum or dark blonde (dyed). Height/Weight: 177cm/67kg. Build: Curvaceous. Skin Tone: Slightly tan. Face Shape: Sharp chin, oval. Distinguishing Feature: A fading scar across her face, several more scars across her body, and fake horns used as a headpiece occasionally.
… LIKE EVERYTHING I TOUCH JUST FALLS APART.
Personality.
Positive.
Nyra is a driven young female. While others may find her intimidating, the trait is actually a positive thing in her eyes. Feeling in charge and in control puts Nyra at her best, for that’s when she’s effortlessly charming, and persuasive in every way. She is extremely passionate, particularly about those people she holds dear, such as her brothers — Particularly Nylis; Nyra adores her twin brother more than anyone else in the world despite their bickering.
She is loyal, believing strongly in the term, ‘Blood is thicker than water.’ Be it familial blood ties, or blood pacts, she treats them both the same, a diplomatic surprise from her. This makes her a good leader, despite her young age. However, Nyra is aware that she can’t carry the weight of the complete clan by herself, ergo making her rather realistic for the most part.
With no ulterior motives, or selfish desires whatsoever, the love Nyra has for her family is genuine and pure. Though she doesn’t express it as often as she should, she does care deeply about the wellbeing of her brothers, and puts them on a list of her priorities. The same is said for Vergil, whom she regards as her priority, and is perhaps the first person outside of her family that she has ever felt love for.
Her relentless behaviour benefits her in a way that she always gets what she wants, regardless of what it may be. And while this might be annoying, or pushy, this makes her unshakable in her desires and motives.
Nyra Haemorinth also appreciates a good challenge and/or opponent. She’s not so swell-headed to the extent of having no acknowledgement of other people’s talent. Rather, she’s not stingy of giving compliments.
Negative.
Very, very bloodthirsty, and near insatiable in that regard.
The youngest of the Haemorinths is very insecure, and constantly feels like she’s struggling to come up for air in the shadows of her brothers. Nyra isn’t very smart, or as smart as her brothers, and thus this is the root of all her insecurities. She’s very panicky about these things, and any prodding at her vulnerabilities is ultimately her weakness. To an extent, she is also easily jealous, and should she be compared or feel the need to assert herself, she can be very competitive.
Yet, at the same time, she’s quite full of herself (and with good reason), even though she’s not afraid of showing her respect for one worthy of receiving it. Surprisingly, Nyra can be shy and clam up if the situation fits. But in these rare cases, she becomes completely closed off, and hard to crack open, unless there’s some form of encouragement.
Never having stayed anywhere too long, she can get quite restless if she’s still for too long.
She is completely insane, and evil to the bone, especially in the situations that push her to act as such. A very mentally unstable mermaid. Nyra is cruel, and has no qualms in hurting anyone regardless of their age, or who they are, so long as it benefits her personally, or in terms of the livelihood of her clan and family.
Nyra is remarkably greedy, never satisfied with what she has for long, she always chases the next high to conquer. While not stingy to share her riches and gains, she isn’t exactly the most gracious idol to look up to, particularly when she constantly goes after every new adrenaline rush, however crazy or dangerous it may be. Nyra doesn’t particularly care about her own life, rather being the type to accept her death when it comes — Thus, why she has no issues in fighting an opponent that’s stronger than her, for should her demise come, she’d welcome it, knowing she went out with a bang.
FASCINATING; DRENCHED IN RED, AND MYSTERIES.
Selfish people always live longer.
Nyra was born the youngest of the Haemorinth children, taking the third spot amongst her oldest brother Nyx, and her fraternal twin brother Nylis. From their youth, the siblings have always been close, but their relationships were truly tested upon the death of their parents when the twins were at the age of two, and when Nyx was only seven years of age. Having been orphans, outcasted and basically raised by their brother – who was still a child, himself – put the remaining Haemorinths through hardships, and Nyra had to see the world early, and grow up fast.
Both Hephery and Vaerin came from commoner backgrounds, living an easy and comfortable life with the rest of the small Haemorinth clan. Nyra never knew much about her parents, relatives, or ancestors, though by judgement of their natural bipedal forms, it can be assumed that they came from Atlantean descent. The entire lack of status never sat well with Vaerin, and by her influence, made her husband agree with the desire for more. After failed attempts of social climbing, the couple grew tired of themselves and their children being regarded as nobodies.
For years, they studied forbidden, dark magic and spells that would garner them power, and immortality. As foreshadowed by their last name, blood magic and sacrifices reacted very well with them. Vaerin initiated the sacrifice of her other relatives, in an attempt to draw out demonic entities to them. It worked, albeit not completely according to the original plan. Though the memory is foggy, Nyra recalls that her parents failed to properly bind most of the demons, thus why they retaliated and fought back; As opposed to dropping dead.
Unfortunately (though not according to Nyra), the lack of proper preparation cost Vaerin and Hephery their lives, though their final efforts and breaths were all concentrated in protecting their children from the same, sad fate of death.
The transfusion of demon blood into the bloodstreams of Nyra and her brothers was a success, despite the great loss of the rest of their clan, ergo granting them heightened psionic powers/skills in addition to their merfolk abilities.
However, the news of the slaughter amongst own family members, and magic involving bringing forth unholy creatures did not bode well with other clans, kingdoms, etcetera. Fortunately, though, to the pleasure of her deceased parents, the remaining Haemorinths were no longer nobodies, and under the leadership of Nyx, and the bloody hands of Nylis and Nyra, they were finally leaving their mark in the unforgiving world.
Nyra dyes her hair blonde regularly to avoid showing off her original roots — being a mixture of whites, greys and silvers — to avoid looking too much like her late mother. Being called ‘Vaerin’ in a case of mistaken identity, or compared to her mother’s appearance is a pet peeve of hers, as she holds a grudge and disdain for both her parents. If asked about them, she will refer to them as the world did when they were still alive: Irrelevant.
In the end, we’ll be infinitely, and utterly alone.
Growing up without any parents, or elder relatives to guide her at such a young age explains Nyra’s rebellious-like personality, as the only figure she could proper look up to was Nyx, and to some extension, Nylis. The trio had to go through severe poverty and homelessness for quite some time, as they had to flee their old land to be spared by angry, neighbouring clans/tribes.
These struggles, however, were admittedly what brought the siblings so close and reliant on each other.
Moving all over the place from time to time, it was only once they had all acknowledged and accepted the hybrids that they were. Regarding themselves as the first plasma mermaids, the Haemorinths began acting like the monstrosities (or ‘freakshows’ as Nyra prefers to call them) they were regarded as, and were supposed to be. This invoked fear, and an infamous reputation of Nyra, and her family, across the oceans. Which, to her, was perfectly fine.
Though she has an odd way of showing it, Nyra does respect her oldest brother, as Nyx took on the responsibility in raising and keeping her, and her twin, alive at such a young age, himself. The bond between Nyra and Nylis is near inseparable, as the pair have always been close since birth.
Because of the mutual overprotective nature of one another, the twins do not hesitate to go over the top in displays of their affection — Basically a competition of who loves the other more. This relationship, however, can also be seen as possessive. An example would be how Nyra has had some past boyfriends, but none have lived, unfortunately for them, as Nylis has taken it upon himself to get rid of the unworthy. For instance throwing them off a cliff, decapitating them, or sucking them dry (Context? Please, darling.) for some prime examples.
“He wasn’t good enough for you, anyway.”
“No one’s ever good enough for me, you fucking make sure of it, Nylis.”
Regardless, the twins are a notorious duo. While they are powerful on their own, when they work together and in sync, the pair are a force of nature.
Don’t cry out when you’re pierced by thorns — You wanted roses, yeah?
At an early age, Nyra’s unstable mental state began to surface. The cause of this is assumed to be an overdose of demon blood intake that now floods her system rather than course through it in combination with her regular bloodstream, however it’s not entirely certain. Nyra had a tendency to act more violent than her brothers, less restrained in her bloodlust and desire to destroy, further enhanced by her addiction to blood consumption (as, unlike her brothers, Nyra had never learned how to suppress or grasp reigns of her thirst).
In order to restrain or at least have her under some form of control of her savage behaviour, personalized shackles were made for her, the cuffs of the chains connecting to her veins. These restraints were infused with magic that ensure Nyra, for the most part, is able to control her urges. Without them, or should she take them off for even a second, she will lose it and seek to devour anyone/anything to sate herself.
Furthermore, Nyra has grown completely dependant on her shackles, and thus without them, she loses any sense of emotion or humanity, both getting completely shut off like a switch.
Her reputation of being rather berserk, even after being restrained somewhat, has spread like wildfire. With the notorious and infamous deeds of her and her family, it’s rather unsurprising that those who have heard of Nyra tend to be a bit more cautious, if not completely appalled by her. Amongst other merfolk, or creatures from the sea, the Haemorinths are considered abominations, and are unwelcomed. Ergo, this is why Nyra is never really in one place for long.
She is, however, very fond of visiting the world of those that walk on land. Not just because of the cultures and such, but rather because she has a ‘buffet’ of sorts to select her meals — or feasts? — from, not just humans, but other creatures that lurk or inhabit the place.
At one point, though she still adoring her family, Nyra felt the need to be a bit more independent and find her own way, or get her own space in a taste for adventure.
She needed, in her words, a chance to write her own story, or at least just a chapter of it where her decisions were unaffected by other people’s opinions, and were more so her own than what was expected, or, in some cases, demanded by other people.
Evidently, this little step forward in self-reliance would rewrite anything that she originally had planned …
When I had half my truth, I found the rest in you.
Through odd fate, or perhaps a bizarre twist in her story, Nyra met a man named Vergil. She was more or less interested in harassing him for the sake of a reaction, though got more than she proper bargained for when she slowly began to find herself attracted to him.
Naturally, she went through some inward panic and turmoil for a bit, as any normal person would react.
“He has a beautiful face. I’m not sure if I want to punch him, or fuck him?”
It’s not necessarily a fairy tale, so to speak, not like most stories. Yet a nephilim and a mermaid falling in love would almost be poetic, if it didn’t start off with Nyra attempting to provoke and annoy Vergil for the sake of a reaction. But he made her work for it, and he could keep up with the banter. And really, we make our own fairy tales. For the most part. It’s more like ‘choose your own adventure,’ really.
“I irritated him so much until he fell in love with me. It’s a pretty sound tactic, I gotta say!”
Vergil makes Nyra happy (and hopefully vice versa), and ultimately, that’s really all that matters.
I’d rather be the villain than the victim.
Still on her path in finding her own way (or some hippie shit like that), Nyra is continuing her way in making her own story, not living in the shadows of her brothers, or relying completely on them for a chance at adventure, and mischief in her life. A young woman with little to no hesitance in trying new things, Nyra sees the world for hers to take … Or at least to grasp, and fuck with where she can.
Currently, Nyra spends her own free time doing a lot of travelling. And the main reason for her travelling? To eat. The plasma mermaid has taken a liking to trying out all sorts of different types of blood. But who knows? Maybe she’ll finally get a chance to play a bigger role, for once. Not just the love interest, or the sidekick. The unredeemable villain? The anti-heroine who shows a hint of a conscience? Or the hero that’s beyond saving?
The possibilities are endless.
HAVEN’T YOU HEARD? I’M THE CRAZY BITCH AROUND HERE.
Paraphernalia/Equipment.
Weaponry.
Blood Shackles — On both of her wrists, Nyra wears a pair of gold cuffs. Her bloodstream is connected to it, ergo why it’s impossible to pry off the metal from her skin. When she manipulates her blood to her veins, it solidifies. The shape she is most familiar with would be chains, thus why that would be her primary choice of weapon.
Fangs — Though not necessarily a ‘weapon,’ per se, Nyra adores using her needle sharp fangs to bite, and tear apart other people (sometimes herself, for she enjoys pain). Her fangs are very sharp, and piercing.
Attire.
Casual — Nyra doesn’t necessarily have a primary outfit, though the one constant would be the cuffs of her shackles, and the excessive amounts of jewellery to match, and rose motifs. The contents of her closet are all shades of red, gold, and black. Normally she uses very form fitting clothes, and ankle boots. Tube tops and tight leather pants are a consistent set of items in her everyday where. She also tends to use a flower crown of roses on her head. Occasionally, Nyra also wears skirts, or dresses. Her style is essentially very caught up to the modern fashion.
GET BENT.
Abilities/Powers/Skills.
I can rip you to shreds, and do my nails at the same time.
Blood Magic is something Nyra and her brothers all expertise in, though all in different ways. The art of this type of power uses life itself, though proving potent in terms of spells and such. Nyra herself tends to use her own life force. The outlet for Nyra’s powers solely comes from her shackles, the rest of her powers completely sealed to avoid an incident where she might lose control. Regardless, this does not make Nyra any less powerful. In fact, staying true the ideals that she is purely the one with only brawn in her family, Nyra is a force to be reckoned with. She is only capable of manipulating her own blood.
Selfish people always live longer.
Furthermore, dabbling in this type of dark arts does come at a hefty price. Though being able to manipulate her own blood, Nyra is thus cut off of most of the normal talents a regular mermaid has. The ability to control/manipulate water, or singing to captivate people and/or cause storms are some of the skills that have been stripped of her. She still, of course, has the ability to breathe underwater.
I’m the evil one, in case you were wondering.
As a plasma mermaid, or a mutant/hybrid/freak of nature/abomination/etc., Nyra is more alike a vampire than a typical mermaid. Not even near compared to their neighbouring species: Sirens. She has the ability to turn most of her teeth into needle point fangs that can normally pierce through flesh easily (regardless how tough), and much like a vampire, she feeds off of her prey. However, though she is greedy in terms of consumption, Nyra doesn’t necessarily feed for the sake of sating her hunger. While she does need to feed for survival, the way her species works is that they have to continue consuming blood in order for there to be blood in their system.
Your pain, my thrill.
Nyra has an immunity to being poisoned, which is assumed to have come from the fusion of consuming various types of blood. That being said, her blood itself can have acidic/toxic properties. If her blood is spilt, and should she feel like it, and when someone else comes in contact with the liquid they may be poisoned. Do make sure to get your shots done beforehand, yeah?
Fighting Style.
Don’t be stupid. Survive.
As mentioned prior, the way she uses her blood magic/manipulation is to create ‘chains’ out of her own blood, or the blood she has consumed. The liquid solidifies, and her shackles then behave like whips and/or tentacles, and are very painful, should you be on the receiving end of them. They can bend and act in any way she should wish, spiralling and twisting in ways of her imagination. On occasion, Nyra is also capable of turning them into rapiers should she prefer more needle-like things. She is relentless, and devastating when she uses her shackles, having utmost expertise in managing them and having mastered them, creating a moveset that is uniquely hers, and not imitated by anyone.
I will always look out for myself.
In addition to her unique abilities, Nyra is a very skilled acrobat. Cartwheels, backflips — Anything for flair, and theatrics. Though, not necessarily a flashy fighter on purpose, Nyra does like to show off or show superiority where she can. Evidently, this is both a good and bad thing, as she can get carried away, or perhaps do more than is necessary. Furthermore, Nyra does not believe in holding back, and prefers for fights to go full force. She isn’t too fond of training, and spars for a this reason.
Staying alive … It’s kinda my speciality.
Nyra adores using brute force. As much as she likes whipping people into shape, she enjoys beating them to a pulp just as much. She is relatively strong for a girl her size and age, though not insanely so. Additionally, Nyra has a remarkably high tolerance for pain. Or, to be more precise, she enjoys being in pain, or being tortured physically. She is more of a masochist than a sadist, which thus explains why she likes provoking (shit-talking) her foes to really rile them up to the extent of them showing her no mercy.

Trivia.
— Nyra’s favourite video games are Bloodborne, and the Dark Souls franchise.
— She is allergic to kelp.
— Nyra is very photogenic, and is additionally very addicted to taking selfies.
— Her favourite colour isn’t red, in fact, it’s purple — The soft, pastel kind. She doesn’t wear anything of that colour, nor does she have anything in her closet. This is mostly because Nyra believes she has to upkeep her ‘hard’ and ‘tough’ image. She wants to look cool, to put things simply.
— Nyra has a burning hatred for a certain Sea Witch, and her twin. This is more so petty jealous than real hatred, as Nyra desires for her and Nylis to really be the only powerhouse twins from the sea.
— She hates the smell of chlorine.
— Has a weird addiction to red roses.
— She smells like roses and gin.
— Her favourite song is All Star by Smash Mouth.

Role:

Abilities:
Whip Sword — The bladed-whip that she uses wrapped around her waist like a belt is drawn, and she uses it to attack enemies at a close range. This is her equivalent to a melee attack, however, does a subsequent more amount of damage than Supposedly, the whip is her primary weapon, though the melee nature of it makes her role of a defense hero a bit complicated. This makes her versatile enough to act as an offense hero on occasion, but also defensively hold the point.
Throwing Knives — Siren's throwing blades have a long range that can inflict severe harm on an enemy. This makes her a good flanker that can keep enemies away from a point, or taking out snipers like Widowmaker or Hanzo (granted that Siren is fast enough to strike at them). Her range attack releases three projectiles each time.
Rush of Sighs — Siren lets out a stored sigh, regaining 100 health if uninterrupted. She can move around as she does this. Fianna can also heal through certain enemy Ultimates.
Siren’s Song — Siren lets out a cry that stuns the enemies within her radius for 0.9 seconds. If timed well, this is an excellent way for Siren to give finishing blows to low health opponents, or used as a way for her team to go for some kills, as well. Alternatively, Siren can use this as a way for her to get away if she's surrounded or low in health.
Requiem (Ult.) — Siren draws out her whip sword, pirouetting and twirling about as she strikes at her opponents as she sings. While this does a hefty amount of damage, especially on slower enemies, faster enemies like Tracer and Genji can retreat quickly from her or take an opportunity to strike. If followed after Siren’s Song, she can be a deadly force in pushing the enemy back.
Story:
Fianna Räuber's past in growing up wasn't too remarkable, though she knew she was expected to follow her father's footsteps in working in for the military despite wanting to be a ballad singer. Upon finishing high school, she was drafted for the Swiss Armed Forces almost immediately.
Originally a corporal in the Swiss Military, she dropped out after an accident at the enhanced soldier program left scandals galore amongst the ranking officers and the ‘volunteers.’
Though it was forged that Fianna had volunteered herself, she (along with a handful of recruits) were forced into an human-omnic hybrid program by the military’s black ops to be the next Swiss Guards, the operation intended to be much like the Cent Suisse, and was named after them. Their intentions were to make an elite team of super soldiers that had enough humanity, but the perks and advancements of an omnic. It was later learned that these black ops were in partnership with Talon, as a last minute resort for any upcoming desperate times.
When she was 16 and coincidentally eligible, and operations went underway immediately. For her, the scientists had hoped to create a walking supersonic hybrid; However, through her surgery, Fianna's vocal cords got damaged. This, unfortunately, rendered her talking voice to be monotonous, and nearly entirely mute. However, recordings of her voice were stored in a chip and planted inside of her along with her enhancements so that she could have her siren-like abilities.
Due to the several damaged soldiers in their care, the volunteers were asked to resign to avoid an uprising scandal. However she, along with a few others were recruited into Overwatch, and Siren herself was appointed into their covert operations of Blackwatch, taking up the call sign of ‘Whiplash.’
While her speaking voice was rendered completely flat and monotone for about two years, her singing voice was still pleasant, but at times releases sharp decibels to stun others. Angela Ziegler eventually found a way to repair her damaged vocal cords, however the damage was a bit too severe for it to be fully recovered: Fianna still had to rely on cybernetic wirings down her throat to speak in different inflections.
It was revealed at the time of the recall of Overwatch and the regathering of the Talon council that from the moment she was enlisted into Cent Suisse, Siren was working under/for Talon the entire time — From the Swiss Armed Forces, to Overwatch, to Blackwatch.
Her call sign is revealed to be Siren.
Fianna was given her own team to lead, a strike team called The Raptors who act in a group only in the ugliest, or most dire situations.
The members are:
Berg, a former Crusader turned vengeful after the fall of his comrades and family in Eichenwalde (Günther Krieg — Tank)
Mastermind, a former serviceman of Fianna from their army days and who was a tactical genius that now provides shields, armours, and ‘bubbles’ to her teammates (Candice Dust — Support),
Snakeroot, the martial artist extraordinaire that is a wanted outlaw (Goh Yue — Offense),
Crossfire, a crossbow specialist and folklore fanatic who was formerly working as a filing clerk for Blackwatch (Robyn Telle — Defense).
Chevalier, a medical prodigy and the team’s primary healer who was shunned for his au natural medical research costing hospitals and clinics money due to his cheaper, natural alternatives (Augustin Boucher — Support).

THE WELL OF ALL SOULS.
Basics.
Full Name: Utix Sybil. Aliases: The Most Holy, The Most Pure, The Divine. Title: The Peacewalker. Birthday: 30th September, Race: Acheron mermaid. Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual. Relationship Status: Dating Villiere Arconia. Place of Origin: Town of Lovania, Amorynth. Occupation: High Priestess. Religion: Syncretism. Family: Madora Sybil (mother, deceased), Polyer Sybil (father, deceased).
I WAS LOOK FOR A BREATH OF LIFE, FOR A LITTLE TOUCH OF HEAVENLY LIGHT …
Physique.
Biological Age: 18. Eye Colour: Sanguine. Hair Colour: Fawn. Height/Weight: 172cm/51kg. Build: Slim, relatively busty. Skin Tone: Fair. Face Shape: Oval. Distinguishing Feature(s): Utix has ridiculously long hair, reaching just above her ankles and tied in a loose braid. For some reason, Utix always seems to have a sad look in her eyes, even if she’s far from being in such a mood.
… BUT THE CHOIRS IN MY HEAD SANG NO.
Personality.
Positive.
Utix is a kind, generous girl with a trusting personality. She’s very innocent, and has an unwavering love in the world despite knowing it’s not always worth such a view. Hope is something that can never be stripped from her, for she knows it’s the last thing that flickers out even in the darkest of situations. While she does not force any beliefs onto others, she tries to inspire.
Additionally, Utix constantly sees the best in people, even though she might already see the truth. She is, without a doubt, one of the most honest and genuine people to exist. Her generosity doesn’t just extend to the faithful, or the believers, and Utix treats those without a belief the same she would someone with.
She is an actual cinnamon roll.
Utix has a soft spot for romance, making her quite the romantic. Similarly, and unbeknownst to the knowledge of the other members of the clergy, often the romance books she reads have a racy chapter or two. She is also extremely curious, always wandering and wondering around (even about/around things she perhaps should not), mostly because she doesn’t quite fancy being left in the dark or having the truth omitted from her. She prefers to learn on her own rather than rely on the words of others, particularly her fellow members of the Chantry.
Negative.
Utix is extremely clumsy, and just as unlucky. Though these two things don’t necessarily come in to play in situations where she is being serious, devout or being a figurehead; In her personal time, however, Utix needs to be protected at all costs or else she risks falling off a cliff.
Her greatest strengths can also be regarded as her greatest weaknesses. Utix is far too trusting for it to be safe, and often if she’s alone, she may be tricked or deceived. Thus, this is why there is normally always someone around her unless she is safe within the Chantry.
Hence, why Utix can often be a bit rebellious. Being constantly guarded or around people trying to shelter her, the young mermaid tends to shirk her responsibilities to go explore, or just sneak around. She likes the rush and the chance of being caught a bit too much.
Utix’s unwavering believing in the good things in life is additionally a bad thing, as she is seen as too forgiving, even to the most cruel of people. Her belief of giving chances seems to be infinite, and though she is not biased, she is also lacking in being firm about what’s right and wrong. She is often taken advantage of, even by the fellow members of the cathedral.
She is rather blur and oblivious. If someone is making a lewd or lecherous comment/joke towards her, she will not quite catch it unless it’s blatantly pointed out to her.
Her purity, and her being some sense of untouched perfection makes her an ideal target of being corrupted by others.
FROM WHAT HOPE HAD WROUGHT.
A taste of divine rush.
Utix was born the only child to a noble family in Amorynth, the capital city where the Ephemeral Cathedral is located. The Sybil’s held their title of nobility due to her mother being a descendant of the Acheron mermaids of the Underworld, and thus passing the blood inheritance to Utix. At a young age, her knowledge of religious studies excelled that of a scholar. Recognizing her daughter’s talents and intelligence at the age of nine, Madora sent her to the Chantry to follow the paths of the faithful.
The clergy took her in, naturally, thus Utix spent her youth growing up in the cathedral. She was personally tutored and trained by The Peacewalker (the head of the organization that spread the message of their beliefs, along with a diplomatic figure that settled religious disputes, among other things) before her.
The Ephemeral Cathedral was a house of worship that practiced and preached more about the acceptance of every and any belief. Syncretism, Utix found, was exactly what the world needed despite it often having contradictions. The Peacewalker before her eventually came to his death due an illness, but before he passed, he had elected her to be the next Divine. At this time, Utix was only fifteen – going on sixteen. Thus, this made her the youngest Peacewalker to have ever been elected.
In sorrow, we weep.
Utix’s rise to power earned an uproar from most of the faithful. Many claimed that her heritage and name was what made her earn such a title, and not her knowledge. Additionally, they blamed her for the death of the past Peacewalker, with some believing she was the one to have murdered him for her to attain the title.
Though panicked, and far too young to carry the weight of such burdens, she handled the situations and accusations the best she could. Utix kept to the old ways as best she could, fulfilling her duties and tending to those who came to the cathedral personally. Despite only supposed to be more of a figurehead, Utix took most roles up herself, including confessionals. However, despite her good intentions and the fact that her involvement moved many, there were some that still held disdain towards such a young priestess being in power.
Those that didn’t fancy Utix’s reign would then target her family, with another noble family taking it upon themselves to murder her parents, along with any witnesses. The news devastated Utix, and many believed that such an event would cause her to use her status to make a move in retaliation, such as ordering an execution of the nobility that caused her such harm. However, she remained coolheaded in her choices, reminding that vengeance was not of practice in her belief as a Divine, and that she was to be a forgiving figurehead despite the crime. This then earned Utix the approval of many, however where she failed to act, others did not. Her parents and her former caretakers deaths were avenged by those who once said she was a fraud.
Some say that this was actually a tactic for Utix. The way she handled the unfortunate event of her loss of her parents is what earned the hearts of followers, and that though she personally didn’t have anything to do with the act of avenging, the way she moved the hearts of others was a smart move, as people thus took up arms in her name. There are those that believe that Utix used her words in place of actions to get the dirtiest jobs done for her, thus making her an exceptional player in a grand game.
Into the rush.
As the years passed, Utix’s reign as The Peacewalker won over many, whilst others still sought to either overthrow or get rid of her. Utix introduced new laws, ones that continued in the practice of peace, along with hymns and chants that would inspire, rather than invoke the fears of Gods (whatever or whomever they may be) into those that came into the Chantry. By her second year as a Divine, Utix had turned The Ephemeral Cathedral into the safe haven it should have always been seen as, rather than a place where religious teachings would be forced upon. Rather, she folded it to become a place where faith could celebrated and taught to those who wanted to learn, or a place to atone for their sins.
Her intentions, and the purity of them earned her the titles of ‘The Most Pure’ and ‘The Most Holy,’ the unofficial titles of her reputation catching on amongst others.
Part of her duties included her attending peace talks at conclaves or meetings. This was not just limited to the sea, as representatives of the land and even the sky would gather for these things. Her attendance at these things played an important role, as she was often the voice of reason and mediator. The matters were not always religious, and despite her lack of teachings, Utix proved to be quite the diplomat.
The years proved that there were coincidences where if things did not go Utix’s way or if say she had a lack of the necessary approval, there would be an uproar or a ‘convenient’ death that would clear and grant a path for her. This sparks talks that there were hidden agents working in favour of Utix’s claim to power, whereas others simply choose to believe that being good and doing the right thing is what gave The Most Pure such an ethereal, near immortal existence.
Utix hasn’t said anything about this publicly, though she has acknowledged the conveniences.
Additionally, as she is tends to the confessional booth, she is also rather knowledgeable of quite a bit of information. She has heard more secrets, confessions, and truths than possibly anyone else in the seas. The suspicion of Utix being quite the spymaster grew, though she played oblivious to these rumours.
She has met two Sea Witches in her lifetime — Both in confessionals. One being the current one (the ever so elusive Azalea Corsage), and the other being the one prior (the presumably deceased Ambrosia Kallos).
Utix is also one of the few aware that a woman named Zosime once wanted to leave her son (believed to be Charybdis Skylla) to be raised by the clergy at the cathedral in the past, however the bassinet was taken in the middle of the night by the baby’s father.
Do you keep going to the river to pray?
Now eighteen years of age and soon to be nineteen, Utix is a bit more curious and slipping into a bit of rebellious stage. Having built quite the reputation for herself along with the cathedral, she desires a little life for herself. While others her age spent time amongst friends, in adolescent romances, or doing things that was appropriate for their age, she was conducting sermons. Wanting brief tastes of these experiences, Utix tends to ‘disappear’ between meetings or things of the like to have fun.
Though not directly involved with the clash between the Leviathan and Mermaids, Utix has heard opinions and met members of both parties. At one point she sheltered Nerissa Nereusou after her resurrection, and on several occasions, she’s had contact with Father Paal Fe’Vacys, another religious figurehead and monarch of the Leviathan Empire.
A Godkiller that Utix had recently befriended, Itzel Silvestre, has aided in getting Utix to loosen up a bit more, acting more her age and more like ‘a normal person.’ Though still a tad foreign to her, Utix is doing her best. More often than not, however, the speedster seems to have to use her fast talents in saving Utix from her clumsy ways.
Utix is a tad envious of Itzel, mostly because the other girl gets to go where her heart so desires. This has a dual meaning as Itzel for one seems to have a good hold on her powers to run wherever she’d like at a fast pace, whereas Utix’s portal drawing tends to be a bit … Terrible. Another meaning would be that Utix is tied to her duties, whereas Itzel seems more free.
Have a dance with the Devil.
Though having conversed with men before, Utix finds herself oddly flustered around a Kraken named Villiere Arconia. This is mostly perhaps because he’s shirtless, and perhaps the most skin on a man she’s ever seen before were exposed arms or knees. Villiere’s presence encourages the priestess to explore and try more things, instead of living in such a sheltered way.
Him being the opposite of her, regarded as The Devil of the Deep, and she being named The Most Pure make for an interesting combination, considering such different and contrasting reputations.
Paal has tried to coax Utix into telling him more about what she knows through her many hearings and speakings with those in the confessional, though Utix is a firm believer of confidentiality between her and the guilty.
Currently, she is preparing for the likely event of a conclave to settle the chaos that is in tow between those that side with the mermaids and those who side the Leviathans. On the subject of the war, however, Utix has no opinion, thinking that both sides have their reasons and faults in this battle. Both politically and personally, she has made it known that she refuses to get directly involved.
HUMBLED, AND BLESSED.
Paraphernalia.
Weaponry.
Staff — Though not necessarily a weapon, Utix carries about a staff. She uses it to heal, to charm, to pass divine blessings to, and to draw portals. However, in the events that she needs to get physical, she will use her staff to thump others on the head … Unfortunately for Utix, she tends to end up hitting herself with it.
Holy Book — She also carries about a book by her waist, though this isn’t a weapon in the least unless she, once more, uses it to swat someone. The contents of it are canticles that have seraphic means behind them.
Attire.
The Robes of the Divine — The Most Holy wears a headdress of a nun, though hers has floral décor around the trim for the sake of personalization. Her hair is tied into a loose braid as always, with an assortment of pearls about it and roses by her ear. Her sleeveless, black robes are lined with a thin layer of ruffles underneath, and she wears a pair of tights beneath. Her sleeves are actually separated like gloves, and she wears a corset. Though many have spoken about it, Utix’s outfit is very fitting to her slim figure. She wears a pair of gold boots.
Casual — Utix’s attire for casual occasions are just a simplified version of her formal robes, just with less trims of gold and accessories. Her shoes are instead black boots, and she lacks the corset. Often, Utix chooses not to wear her headdress in this attire.
PERHAPS A TOUCH OF HEAVENLY LIGHT?
Powers/Skills.
Glass heart hymns.
Like most other mermaids, Utix has a lovely singing voice. Though unlike her fellow kin, she uses her voice to not charm people to their deaths, but rather to embrace life and whatever it brings them. She is often using her singing talents in chants, hymns or songs of praise. As a hobby, however, she does not sing as much.
My song knows what you did in the dark.
Utix is actually quite talented in the art of espionage, though rarely does she put this into a situation of harming others. Rather, she uses such a skill in advice. Upon learning certain things about those that seek her out, she teaches them to repent and instead make right if they have done harmful things. Her intentions, so far, have always been using her knowledge to the benefit of others and for peace. However, Utix actually keeps these confessions recorded in a book, unknown to anyone else apart from her.
Do you believe in magic?
There is some amount of magic in her veins, quite the lament amount, really. Utix mostly uses this to open portals, though she’s not very talented on her own or without proper coaching. She uses this as a means of transport, especially in attempts to escape and avoid doing her duties.

BEFORE THE MADNESS, THE SADNESS.
Basics.

Distinguishing Feature(s): Her hair is just glamoured, hiding the scarlet tentacles that grow from her scalp. Ambrosia’s right eye is normally covered by her fringe, which hides the two scars beneath it.
... A GIRL LOST HER LIFE.
Personality.
Positive.
Ambrosia is a determined, brave, and straightforward. She doesn’t shy away from danger or confrontation, but rather dive into it head first. The Old Witch is not naïve in the slightest sense, but rather is firm in her own beliefs and checks her sources before letting anyone tell her otherwise. The woman has a surprising sense of empathy, and more often than not tends to put herself in the position of others to get a feeling of situations.
She is not without a heart, but she does know what’s right and wrong.
Negative.
What Ambrosia is famous for is for being manipulating, cunning, and cruel. These are all traits she’s embraced and is well aware of. Perhaps Ambrosia was a kind, honest woman at one point in her life, perhaps there were events that eventually pushed her over the edge. But as history will tell, she had always been rather evil, like the villain that appears in every story — Except without a tragedy to have started the fire.
She has always been very selfish in her motives, never shying away from this fact, as well. After experiences that occurred prior, Ambrosia appears to be cold, and
You can’t judge a book by its cover, especially a fairy tale …
THE FIRST PAGE OF CHAOS.
Don’t tiptoe over shattered glass.
Born to a kept farming family of five, Ambrosia was the middle child. Her youth was nothing spectacular, or off the page, and the days of agriculture were dull and dry to Ambrosia — She desired more from the world, more for herself. Ambrosia always had a talent in magic, though her mother always noticed that the energy she displayed was more malicious than that of a normal mage. As she was still quite the youth, Ambrosia thought little of it, and figured she was just having fun, as magic was her one outlet of something wild in her very sheltered lifestyle.
One night, while messing about with her powers, Ambrosia brought forth a demonic entity — the remains of a soul that belonged to a dark sorcerer — that sought to devour the town’s occupants, which would thus allow him to resurrect himself. She saw this as an opportunity, and through the means of forbidden, dark magics, she managed to seal the demon, again … However, this time within her being, which thus not only corrupted, but enhanced her powers.
Though the brutish force was able to be contained, the lives of many of the townsfolk, along with Ambrosia’s sister, Amber. She was forced to leave her home at the young age of twenty, fleeing as they declared her a witch.
This was her Awakening.
No light, into the dark.
Ambrosia spent many years in her twenties learning and practicing her magic, delving into the darker, unexplored areas of the sea where she made her domain. Along her journeys, she was known for wreaking havoc where she liked (“It’s practice, with some unwilling targets.”), all so she could hone her lament skills.
These shenanigans earned the attention of the desperate, as they believed that this woman who wore the mantle of The Sea Witch with pride could help them. They mistook Ambrosia for a genie, or a fairy god mother. She would help them, at a price. More often than not, the contracts or deals would fail on her patron’s account, and Ambrosia would collect and suck their mortal vessels dry to prolong her life span. This is how she prolonged her life to an unnatural lifespan, exceeding the normal 300 years a mermaid normally lives.
Ambrosia was rendered an outcast by most of the merfolk community, with kingdoms exiling her or even banning her despite her having never been to their province. This made her popular with the other pariahs, such as the wandering cults or the gruesome plasma mermaids.
Overall, however, it should be noted that Ambrosia is on no one’s side but her own.
A breath of life.
More than a hundred years later, Ambrosia’s paths crossed with the woman who would first show her what it was like to let light crack and seep into her dark surface. Zosime was injured, having fled and escaped into Ambrosia’s territory; The Lastearian Abyss. It would’ve been easy for Ambrosia to have killed her off, consuming her life source for her benefit. but infatuation and curiosity got the best of her, and she let Zosime hide in her lair, along with tending to her wounds.
The two women bonded, with Zosime surprising Ambrosia by not asking for anything else once she was healed. Rather, attempting to repay her in gratitude. Zosime was the one who convinced the witch to travel out of the shadows and explore, once more.
And for the first time in about a century, or two. Ambrosia left the shadows.
The dynamic duo were known for causing immense havoc across the seas, and above the shore. Maleficarum and The Heart of Tides being a force of nature, and dark forces all in one flurry of a storm.
Electric.
Though the duo did stir up a lot of trouble, Zosime had also convinced Ambrosia to help those who needed it most. Unused to being ‘good,’ however she tried for the sake and the wishes of her friend. Ambrosia’s reputation was then in between being a helper, and hellhound.
Many years later, at one point, Zosime went missing for a long time … Last seen by the outskirts of the Leviathan Empire. Ambrosia was worried, naturally, though could do little due to the complications of the Leviathan dominance in the high and low seas. This was when Ambrosia realized that her friend had many dark secrets, and would always be hiding something from her.
Lipstick stains on pillow cases.
Eight years later or so, Ambrosia, who by now had mastered every type of magic that her talents could possess, continued with her status as The Sea Witch. Feared, and ferocious, she spent her days dabbling in magic and madness. At this point, sadly, the drift between Zosime and her had begun to stretch, particularly because of the ‘jellyfish’ mermaid’s growing romance with Nereus, with whom she also had a child in the earlier years.
Zosime claimed Ambrosia was jealous, and she even admitted that she might be. Though they were not intimate or sexual or in any means romantic, Ambrosia always saw her closest friend as the love of her life, but that was never a mutual feeling.
As an Agent of Chaos, Ambrosia grew tired of playing saviour to the other, and instead played the manipulative villain; A role she did well considering her ‘job.’ Speaking with The Sodality, they came up with a secret scheme in giving Ambrosia the freedom of notoriety. When Zosime would get pregnant with Azalea, her greatest mistake, the child would carry on Ambrosia’s role and her sins.
The other woman would find out about this plan, but not of Ambrosia’s involvement. Unfortunately, she was already with child when she had discovered this.
Further finding reason to drive Zosime into her arms, Ambrosia would lead Nereus into spotting his then mistress (now wife — come through, Zosime) with The Sea Witch. Once caught, Zosime would later find herself dealing with an ultimatum, and Ambrosia would relish seeing her suffer and feel torn.
At this point, Zosime’s pregnancy with the ‘cursed’ child was still unknown to the kingdom of Nereus.
The heartbreak heard around the world.
When Zosime went into labour, Ambrosia acted as a midwife and helped in the birth of Azalea (or, back then known as Nerissa), keeping the child a secret until Zosime decided what she wanted to do with the situation. At this point, Ambrosia already knew of the destiny awaiting for baby Azalea, all part of her master plan.
However, she didn’t attempt to stop her when the other tried to kill the infant, figuring that murdering of one’s own child would cause a life filled with grief; Considering Zosime’s track record: Abandoning Ertiex in the trenches, and Dyros on the doorstep of a knight academy.
Zosime debated on doing the right thing, for once, to let the child be raised in the castle. This meant that Zosime would once more be leaving. Ambrosia threw a fit, warning that if she left once more, it would mean that they were through — She wasn’t going to wait for Zosime and waste her years any longer.
In the end, Zosime chose Nereus over Ambrosia, the betrayal breaking the heart of the previous witch of the seas, and causing her to turn her back on all sea life once again.
Ambrosia’s last words to her old friend was an accusation of abandonment, and how that she would never forgive Zosime for all the heartache she put her through. Despite their nature, the real wicked witch had always been Zosime.
They both brought the worst, and the best in each other simultaneously, and thus were never good for one another.
Believe me, I’m lying.
A little while after these occurrences, Ambrosia got pregnant. Having met a Leviathan soldier, she spent a night or two with him before he returned to his service. The pregnancy was not planned, though the meaningless fling lead to something more. Becoming a mother herself, though not the traditional type.
Ambrosia spent about the first five years with her daughter, before realizing she could not give her the life she needed. The wilds were no place for a growing child, but perhaps an Empire was. The cecaelia snuck her daughter into the Leviathan Empire, right onto the doorstep of Paal. Her daughter, named Genevieve, would never hold resentment to her mother. Rather, Genevieve understanding that Ambrosia was doing what was best for her, and having faith that they’d reunite when the time was right.
Ambrosia felt a pinch of guilt, then, perhaps coming to understand Zosime’s decisions. Women like them would not make good mothers to children deserving love.
There are worse things than dying.
Years later, the fateful encounter of Azalea coming to Ambrosia for help would finally happen. The witch gave her the legs she desired, but at an expensive cost: Azalea’s soul was taken and separated from her being, thus making her life span’s length a mystery to even the likes of Ambrosia, and she would carry the weight of being the next witch of the seas.
This ignited a fire of vengeance in Azalea, and these flames were but water to Ambrosia. Two years later, Azalea returned to the sea, and found Ambrosia. With no hesitance or remorse, Ambrosia was beheaded, and could finally leave behind her strife of a life.
She was free.
Like living.
The solace of death did grace Ambrosia for long, as The Sodality were far from done with her; The higher-ups resurrected her.
Furious, Ambrosia would then channel her anger in once more destroying Zosime’s happiness, her primary target being Azalea, along with the entirety of the Nereus clan for tearing her and the one good thing in her life apart.
Secretly siding with the Leviathan Empire, she’d coo Ladon into taking her in, offering what information and tactics he needed. Paal, a Sodality, was well aware of this, and suspected that Ambrosia’s presence was also so that she could spite him. Though living lavishly in the compound, in some regards, Ambrosia is seen as a prisoner of the Leviathans. She is not allowed to roam, or freely leave the camp should she desire to. No one knows of Genevieve and Ambrosia’s familial bond.
Ambrosia is also on a quest to retrieve her skull.
WE’RE CONDEMNED TO DEATH.
Paraphernalia.
Weapons.
Jewellery — As odd as it sounds on the surface, Ambrosia’s gold and gems are all charms of the dark arcane. Portions of her power are stored into these charms, mostly because her magical ability is so excessive that if she was to contain them into her person, she would simply become an embodiment of magic with no conscience.
Voodoo dolls — Each person she meets has one made in their likeness. They’re actually rather cute; Nearly chibi-like.
Grimoires — Spell books are but light reading to Ambrosia, now. Having memorized nearly everything, a sheer utterance of a simple word could cause a city to crumble because of her tongue. Most of these books are kept for aesthetic reasons, now.
Attire.
Bitch, I’m Ambrosia.
Casual — She wears a big-sleeved purple robe, a very loose piece of clothing that covers and hides the skintight catsuit of a darker shade beneath. Her clothes are rather simple, and easy for manoeuvre.
Travelling — The same thing, more or less, except the robe is replaced with a similar one that has a hood, along with a face mask to hide her featured, namely her nose downwards. She also carries a shabby-looking rucksack of beige colours, containing potions, and whatnot.
DO YOU FEEL SAFE AROUND ME?
Abilities/Powers.
A song for the unloved.
Ambrosia isn’t too fond of singing, mostly because she had very little reason to burst out into song. Rather, she prefers humming tunes. Her voice is quite lovely, naturally, and holding some mysticism in it. It is hypnotic, like most voices of mermaids, though is more quick to drive listeners who are affected into killing themselves.
Pushing ambrosias.
She is capable of controlling hydrokinesis, telekinesis, substanciakinesis, and cyrokinesis effortlessly, though atmokinesis takes more work as she is no longer The Sea Witch. Ambrosia is still significantly powerful, though without her skull, her powers are not as devastating as they once were. With Azalea’s own abilities and her possession of Ambrosia’s skull, the pinkette is a deadly sorceress, and Ambrosia acknowledges this.
Hey, hey, what can I say?
She is not immortal, but is definitely no longer mortal. Ambrosia is considerably undead to some, while others see her as ghost. Ambrosia sees herself as neither, rather feeling more like a demon of the seas than a mermaid. Things change, and people do, too.
BECAUSE I SURE AS HELL DON’T.
Fighting Style.
Chains, baby.
Very laid back, and avoiding direct confrontation at all costs. Ambrosia has a limitless amount of summons to throw at her opponent, and will never get exhausted. Lest, of course, they seal her magic, or prevent her from summoning.
Leave my body.
Ambrosia is a master manipulator, and though she may lack brute force, she plays mind games well. Literally, even. In some cases, she dives into the minds of others and messes with them to the point where they either become a vegetable, insane, or drive themselves to suicide.

... HELP ME GET THE BLOOD OFF MY HANDS, NOW.
Personality.
Positive.
Champagne Quartz … How do I begin to describe Champagne Quartz?
Champagne Quartz is flawless. Her body’s insured for piles of gold per limb. She’s been rumoured to have ruined five marriages … Per day. The Kama Sutra has an entire section inspired by her. One time she met Azalea Corsage … And Azalea said she was pretty. One time she clawed me in the face, and it was awesome.
Our favourite blonde cambion is a happy, positive spirit, ergo why she prefers the name Champagne — Because she’s bubbly, and pretty to look at. Also because she’s very expensive.
Born with a heart of gold, even despite her less than pleasant past, Champagne is a kind woman who makes light of every situation with her cheerful, and humorous nature. She’s easy to talk to and befriend, with very minimal dislikes and no judge of other’s character whatsoever.
Champagne respects consent severely, and is an incredible listener.
Negative.
I lied when I said she was flawless. Champagne probably has more flaws than I let on.
Champagne Quartz is crazy. Due to her many trying times, her sanity has diminished over her long lifespan. Champagne is erratic in behaviour, and extremely unpredictable in the sense that she’s often doing things that aren’t socially acceptable, or fitting into the current situation. Though not mentally unstable to the extent that she’s insane, Champagne suffers through depression and anxiety — Not like she’d show it.
Not exactly a closed off person, Champagne tends to let parts of her life slip out easily, however she is not entirely an open book. However, it can be rather tricky to tell what’s a lie, and what’s the truth when it comes to her. She has little respect for personal space with people she's close with, unless they express discomfort.
Additionally, she is surprisingly manipulative, and enjoys making people’s brains hurt with riddles. The main reason why Champagne behaves this way is because she’s the current Cheshire Cat.
Champagne’s loyalty can also be easily bought.
GO CRY ABOUT IT, WHY DON’T YOU.
Don’t you think we oughta know by now?
The myth or the proverb of how cats have nine lives is omnipresent in Champagne’s story. In her past life, or lives, she has always been The Cheshire Cat, from the fairy tale of Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland.
This current life, however, has proven to be the worst one to be born into for her.
However, regardless if past, present, or future, Champagne stays true to her character of involving everyone around her with perplexing, near nonsensical conversations, along with indirectly (or directly) causing mischief, just by showing her presence.
Though not necessarily aligning herself with being evil, or good, Champagne does seem to have morales, and is really just doing what’s expected of her character. From past records, if you can find them, it can be seen that she often serves and served as a deuteragonist, aiding or nudging people in the right direction. However, it is not uncommon to find that she has also been a tritagonist — As she does, after all, cause mischief and mayhem.
Evidently, she’s very good at her role, and though she has no proper recollection of every little thing she has done before, she makes a few references, Champagne is experienced enough to know how to control her powers, her social skills, etcetera.
Don’t you think we should’ve learned somehow?
Champagne Quartz, born Alvira Milani, was the daughter of an incubus and a human. Her mother, Adora, was the daughter of a priest, and was shamed and eventually exiled from being the next high priestess after coupling with a demon of desire. When Champagne was born, the religious folk of the church insisted that the child had a demon in her, and debated on whether to kill the baby, or try to cleanse her.
Unbeknownst to them, or even to Champagne herself, Adora and the incubus whom she had lied with were longtime lovers, and the conceiving of Champagne was not the result a one time night of passionate romance and dirty lust. Adora was groomed to be the high priestess of her church, following in her father’s footsteps. One night when she was staying late to practice her preaching, the demons of the church came out to play. The one in particular that took interest in her was instantly smitten, as was Adora. What one night of fooling around in a cathedral eventually lead to several, until finally Adora found herself expecting.
When she broke the news to her parents, Champagne’s mother was believed to be carrying the spawn of the devil’s agents. What saved Adora and her baby from death was her mother’s words, telling the people that murdering of an innocent child before it was even born was a sin.
However, once little Alvira was brought into this world, the cleansing began.
When the girl was capable of standing, the people of the church would start to use methods of torture to scare and/or kill the demon that they believed to be possessing her. Apart from beatings, Champagne was often locked in cells to the brink of starvation, or even being drowned to the near point of death.
There was no demon, or evil in her.
Eventually, word of a slaver being in town lead to the girl’s religious peers and even her own mother to decide in selling Champagne off. She had only just turned six. The slave ring was surprisingly homely to the young girl, even though the labour and training were intense, she had food, shelter, and friends, along with people that actually looked after her, and didn’t try to kill her because of her roots. She simply belonged.
My mouth tastes like secrets that I can't keep.
Once taken in by The Court of Ziex, a notoriously large slaver group, Champagne and others that had been bought were trained intensively for whatever form of work they’d be hired to do. Assassinations, prostitutions, escort services, servant duties, and so on — They were taught and disciplined to be the perfect dolls for whatever their clients or masters desired of them.
The Court of Ziex worked in a way where their slaves could never have a permanent owner. Long-term contracts were available, but even then had an expiry date that would need renewals. The slaves were considered rentals.
By the age of eleven, Champagne was skilled in the field of domestic work, and had mostly done servant jobs as she and the other children below eighteen were considered too young to partake in any sexual services.
When a nobleman named Comte Bacque had temporary ownership over her, Champagne would eventually fall apart. Supposedly only bought to be a maid at his manor, the Comte eventually took advantage of the girl and forced himself on her.
She was only twelve.
Once the contract had been finished, a young, traumatized Alvira would take up on an assassination job on Comte Bacque, and his group of friends who were equally horrid, and twisted men as he was. After having gone under the disguise of a servant girl, she’d poison their drinks (delicious, expensive champagne) before locking them in the same library where she had lost what was left of her innocence.
She was only twelve.
After these events, she would no longer use the name of Alvira Milani, and chose the name Champagne — Named after the bubbly beverage used in her first kill(s). Declaring Alvira dead, she would reinvent herself over the years, accepting her life as a permanent slave.
A man chooses, a slave obeys.
Four years later, Champagne had blossomed to an ideal ‘doll,’ so to speak. At sixteen, she was well-rounded in several fields of jobs and services. Highly in demand, a good portion of Champagne’s youth was spent in royal courts; Acting as a concubine, servant, spy, informant, or even a form of militia. However, the real reason behind her employ was to gather information on her clients/employers for The Court. These roles carry on even now, in more modern times.
Earning quite the popular reputation of getting the job done (take that as you will), she is now highly in demand.
Currently, she is working for several people, and is still taking up jobs. However, The Court she belongs to, or her employer(s), so to speak, still call the shots. Termination or extension of the contracts she takes up is ultimately decided by the higher ups.
She is also on the run from Ophelia Schwarz, also known as The Black Rabbit, daughter of The White Rabbit, for Champagne refuses to return back to Wonderland.
RILE A LION, IT’LL SHOW ITS CLAWS.
Paraphernalia/Equipment.
Weaponry.
Claws — Though really more of an extension of herself, Champagne’s feline claws are her primary source of ‘getting shit done.’ Filed and finessed perfectly, they can act like daggers should enough pressure is applied. She is very fond of using them.
Firearms — All clad in gold, and personalize. Champagne knows how to work her arsenal of weapons, though only should the situation come for it. She doesn’t really have a preference in any of them, more so using whatever she can for practicality, or what suits the situation.
Attire.
Casual — Champagne doesn’t really have a style, though she adapts to whatever setting or time she’s in. She prefers using rompers, or onesies, shorts and a brown coat. Her colour schemes range from neutral, earth tones to bright oranges and yellow.
Catsuit — For stealth purposes. Sometimes other purposes.
FIGHT ME, YOU CERAMIC BITCH.
Abilities/Skills.
Nine’s a good number.
Champagne has multiple ‘lives.’ The way this works is that each of her lives have no limit to their number, but should she die, she gets another life. It’s assumed that she has nine, in regards to the saying of how cats have nine lives. This also gives Champagne an immense amount of durability.
Did you just ‘nya’ at me?
As the Cheshire Cat, Champagne has the ability to teleport, dissipating into orange and purple sparkles before her being disappears entirely. Each time she does this, she leaves behind a large, cat-like grin hanging in the air for half a minute or so.
The last thing I heard was a pair of heels clicking.
She is very good at keeping her balance. There’s never a moment where Champagne loses her footing without landing properly. As a feline, she has heightened senses in terms of vision, smell and as mentioned prior, balance. This makes her remarkably talented in stealth, even if she’s wearing stiletto boots. High fashion.
Fighting Style.
Ah, fuck, I broke a nail.
Champagne prefers to use her nails more than anything, especially in replacement of knives or other types of blades. Though she does occasionally use an arsenal of firearms, she prefers to get up and personal with her target before she takes them out. This might be because of her feline nature to be clean. Or she just takes pride in her manicure.
Can you keep up?
She moves in fast, unpredictable manoeuvres, very swift and agile, making her all the more hard to catch. More often, Champagne prefers to avoid massive amounts of conflict, but should the situation call for it where there’s more than one target, or in the rare case of a job backfiring, she is capable of assessing the situation and adjusting accordingly. Still, however, very wild and all over the place.

HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO SAY MY NAME …
Physique.
Biological Age: 21. Apparent Age: 18. Skin Colour: Fair. Hair Colour: Tickle-me-pink. Face Shape: Oval. Eye Colour: Grey. Height/Weight: 167cm/65kg. Build: Hourglass figure, with hips that do not lie. Mermaid Tail: Pink scales, with three petal-like fins of lighter hues. Adorned with pearls, and occasionally ribbons.
… WHEN YOU CAN’T EVEN GET AIR TO YOUR LUNGS?
Personality.
Positive.
Elegant and eloquent, generous and gentle, poetic and passionate, Azalea is a literal fairy tale right down to her personality. She is a hopeless romantic, in love with love itself — Flowers for special occasions like anniversaries or for triumphing the battle, dancing through the rain or on burning coal, taking romantic walks on the beach or slaying dragons with your significant other, et cetera.
Surprisingly religious, Azalea is a devout follower of the Greek Gods, particularly Poseidon, and other deities related to water. Adventurous, dedicated, observant and driven, she also loves to learn about others, and the world around her. She is also helpful, doing whatever in her power she can to aid those she cares for, never once hesitating to lend a hand.
Azalea is not the once timid flower she was once before, no longer relying on others to defend her, she is more than willing to stand for herself, and fight her own battles. However, knowing that being prideful could lead to a fall, she is no longer hesitant to accept aid when it is offered. Wise beyond her years, though humbled; The Flower of the Depths is renowned for her singing abilities that tie in with her sorcery, among other things, though knows better than to swank unnecessarily.
Negative.
Though a sucker for love, Azalea is simultaneously terrified of commitment. This is just one of her many traits that oppose one another, making her quite the walking contradiction.
Her warm heart makes her quite vulnerable, for many see mercy as a weakness, not an act of kindness; And they are right. Naivety makes her an easy target to sway, and though she is able to read most people by the aura they give off, you don't have to be cunning to hide your true motives. Ergo, Azalea has to be wary of whome she lays her trust in. Her endless desire to learn, and fulfill her curiosities often puts her in danger, as she has no restraints in expanding her knowledge.
Even as Azalea's faith in her Gods is strong, there are several occasions where she finds herself questioning her beliefs due to her physical and mental suffering. Azalea is not open. A lot of her trauma, and fears remain undisclosed, even to those she trusts the most. Thus, the little mermaid has a lot of inner turmoil, and stress.
Azalea’s greatest flaw is that she’s considerably two-faced, and beneath her soft heart lies a form of cruelty that’s been gnawing its way out.
EVERY BEAUTIFUL FLOWER HAS A NASTY LITTLE ROOT.
And the arms of the ocean delivered me.
Azalea was born out of wedlock, to the ‘gentle’ water God Nereus, and the High Sea Dragoness Zosime, a child of Poseidon, Olympian. Though only somewhat aware to her mother, Azalea's birth was very well orchestrated by the Graeae, whom pulled ‘favours’ from other Greek Gods to, in a sense, construct an Agent of Chaos. The creation of Azalea was well approved by the likes of Eris (the Goddess of chaos, and Azalea's inspiration), along with Circe (the Goddess of magic) as she had the ancestry of Chaos, and the blood of the Titans on her father's side, along with the direct Olympian bloodline from her mother's side of the family.
Her mother was well aware of her future, and actually attempted to kill her infant daughter to prevent her from such a fate. Regardless, Azalea’s childhood wasn’t necessarily traumatic, she was just isolated by those she was related to. Apart from her siblings, she grew up with Ladon, Evantis, Milic, and the grandson of the Big Bad Wolf, Conan Hemming. Even in her youth, Azalea always felt out of place, and desired to live on the surface; She just wanted to be part of that world.
Some time during her childhood, Zosime brought Azalea to some of the courts between pantheons, and fairy tales, where she met her childhood and best friend Conan. Her longtime friendship with Conan was another heavy factor that added into her wanting to be on land.
Yorgen, Azalea’s father figure and personal appointed guard, practically raised her from the beginning, with her mother staging her own death by  and her father’s reluctance to acknowledge her. Nonetheless, the bond between the pair was good, and Yorgen was the first one to call her Azalea instead of Nerissa, after they had discovered a shrub of azaleas when exploring the surface; The nickname stuck, and eventually became Azalea’s name.
Azalea had Yorgen properly regarded as her foster father some years ago.
Leave all your love, and longing behind.
When the idea of marriage was brought to her attention, Azalea swam like Hell. Due to feeling restless, left out, and that her life was lacking adventure, sixteen-year-old Azalea was (foolishly) lured into meeting Ambrosia, the Sea Witch. Succumbing to the occult’s pretty promises, Azalea believed she was ‘simply’ trading her soul for the ability to both walk on land, and return to the sea — Naturally every contract has fine print.
The pinkette had her soul disembodied, thus allowing Ambrosia to pass her title and role of being the Sea Witch to Azalea, freeing the former from the chains, and responsibilities of the wailing sea. Apart from this, the little mermaid soon realized that every time her tail split into two pairs of legs, it would feel like a sword had pierced her flesh, and every step she took would cause the soles of her feet to burn, and she would feel like she was walking on sharp knives. Her supposed freedom brought her immense suffering, even if she moved with elegance, and grace, she’d sing and dance with the thought of death in her heart.
The Plague of Chaos.
Ah, this would be the chapter where Azalea’s greatest secret (one that only good ol’ Ladon knows of), and deepest regret finally gets unveiled. Before the new Sea Witch disappeared from the underwater world for a gaping amount of three years, she left quite the impact; Just ask the kingdoms she ruined, the races she killed or led to extinction! Of course, at this point it should be pointed out that Azalea didn’t really have the intentions to cause a mass genocide. Well, not really, anyway. Azalea may say that she didn’t fully have control of her power when she casted a spell that took the lives of many. Azalea will say that the books of the arcane she read never prepared her for this. Azalea is lying.
Diseases spread like wildfire through kingdoms, colonies, villages … Plaguing people with incurable and unexplained symptoms before stripping them of their lives entirely. The plague wasn’t just a sickness. It was beyond physical ailments, infecting people’s minds and seducing their thoughts into turning on one another. Riots broke out, children got caught up in the madness and either had to fight back or be killed as chaos infested the surrounding waters. Wars were no longer  just between kingdoms, but broke out internally as well. This lasted for a year before Azalea finally lifted the curse, though from the sanctuary of the Chemical Garden, safe from angry mobs, and those that wanted to burn the bitch witch at stake.
The scarring event that caused mass genocide was called the Plague of Chaos, the aftermath resulting in the loss of many lives, and several races from the sea still suffer until now.
But the crashes are heaven, for a sinner like me.
In the years of her hiding and avoiding the use of magic, Azalea lived quietly in observing, and learning the culture of the ones that walked on land. For a little while, she blended in before letting certain people learn of her fishy secret. Passing the time by going from land, to sea, she’d continue her mermaid life of singing and luring men (and women) to their deaths. Apart from this, the little mermaid was also biding her time in tracking down Ambrosia. Once discovered, Azalea sought revenge for the damage that was done on the woman who ruined her life by killing the other. Ambrosia’s skull now rests atop Azalea’s staff, although some say they still see the ghost of the Old Witch sometimes, whispering something about the lack of justice brought to her. After all, she was just doing what the Gods told her to.
Sometime after Ambrosia’s murder, Nerissa (you know, Azalea’s soul?) was free from her undead shackles, and could wander the Earth. She wants revenge on Azalea. This story is full of revenge, seriously. Can’t people let go of grudges?
Never let me go, never let me go.
Despite her commitment issues, Azalea has actually actually fallen in love, and is currently with someone. Her fear of settling down, and being vulnerable to someone seemed to dissolve instantly upon being with Galation. Like every great love story, he met her while she was in a towel, but every princess has her knight … Every mermaid needs her Magistrate? Oral magic.
She is mostly seen with Galation, either in their house in the city, or at their seaside residence which also acts as Azalea’s personal lair.
Azalea has never properly expressed it, though her behaviour and actions imply that she would — eventually — like to marry Galation at one point in her life. This is a large development for Azalea, given that she’s sure enough on her end that their relationship is something she can fully commit to, and that Galation is ‘the one’ for her.
Galation is both Azalea’s first love, and true love, despite the very different worlds they come from.
(But seriously, doesn’t mercury kill fish).
Those poor unfortunate souls.
Azalea finally came out of hiding as the Sea Witch after a good few years, which naturally didn’t bode well with most of the folks from the deep blue. Still, Azalea grasped the fear of her reputation and used it to her advantage; Any that tested her would suffer like before, and she wouldn’t hesitate to invoke her wrath once more. Wow, it’s like she actually likes being cruel, huh?
Nerissa and Azalea were finally reunited, soon after. Alas, the former was murdered just as the two were getting along later on. No worries, by popular demand, Nerissa was brought back through necromancy. Yay.
With her being both on land, and in the sea, Azalea’s magical prowess had many come to her for help. And does she help them? Yes, indeed. Naturally, her deals are all sly, and always come up with a price that’s more than the original cost. The difference between Azalea and Ambrosia would be how she actually lets the miserable, lonely, and depressed know of the consequences. Of course with her being more ‘public,’ per se, attentions have been drawn.
The Leviathan presence soon spread to land after discovering that’s where Azalea’s main domain was.
Azalea remembers most, if not all of her victims when it comes to drowning, as she finds the method of submerging someone as ‘intimate’ so to speak. However, one that she can’t quite remember or recall is Zedekiah, a man whom she had drowned after the two crossed paths at one point; There were two very different definitions of ‘rock the boat.’
Some flowers are just too dangerous to touch.
With her identity no longer swept under the rug, the girl with coral-like hair is now like a force of nature. With allies/friends like hers, who needs an army? Regardless, Azalea still plays the role of the Sea Witch to this very day, helping people on her terms as she does the bidding of the Gods (as most Agents of Chaos do). As the day ahead seem to be filled with bloody fields, and dark skies, Azalea appears to be making amends with her past mistakes before it’s too late.
Her superiors, The Sodality, have taken notice of Azalea’s faltering nature, and have her facing consequences. Azalea is ‘sick,’ though what the exact illness is, and if there’s a cure, is ambiguous at current.
If Azalea exerts her powers and abilities, her skin turns ghastly white, and purple lines that resemble cracks spread across her body, particularly her face. Though it is unconfirmed, both Nerissa and her suspect that in a sick joke or in irony, Azalea’s brief rebellious stage has caused a backlash, thus making her suffer a plague of sorts.
Nerissa is currently on a journey to help find a cure to aid or remedy this situation.
I’ve got real big plans, and such bad thoughts.
In her attempt to strengthen her defences, Azalea summoned creatures of extreme legend named Jureal and Layzeal, and later on Marqueal; All Bythorians or ‘Big Eaters’ in the common tongue. Notorious creatures for being one of the few things that can take on Leviathans, Azalea uses them as her front liners along with some other creatures. However, having summoned them has weakened Azalea’s life source somewhat, thus why she is currently off the map, per se.
Just recently, she has met a man that goes by the name of Tsunami, who may or may not have some ties to Atlantis.
Apart from her ‘occupation’ of being The Sea Witch, Azalea also helps her fellow fable Pelkin in his research of mythical creatures, her own offerings to his benefit being those from the sea and a few other creatures. Pelkin also helps Azalea in finding a form of a cure to rid her ‘cracking skin,’ thus a mutually beneficial partnership.
She has since healed from this condition.
Azalea is especially fond of the Akami Clan, particularly Ayagi and Kurogi, whom she sees as elder brothers, of sorts. Ayagi is majorly responsible for having reunited Azalea and Nerissa, thus why Azalea is grateful to the wolf. Additionally, she finds his company ‘endearing and fun’ given that the both of them tend to be rather ... Dumb, for lack of a better word.
Kurogi and her were not too close in the beginning, though that shortly changed after he had fought with Jureal. While Azalea has helped Kurogi realize the meaning of Jureal’s words and for the wolf to find peace in his mind, similarly he has made Azalea realize how far she has strayed from who she wants to be and who she once was. Though it is a gradual process, Kurogi’s impact on Azalea has been for the better, for she is slowly remembering who she really wants to be.
Though nothing is set in stone, it’s hinted that Azalea is next in line for the throne, and Nerissa has a plan in motion to confirm this.
But a mermaid has no tears, and therefore she suffers so much more.
Having had enough of Azalea’s meddling, Paal Fe’Vacys, the father of the Leviathans, finally sought to finish what he started by abducting her, and bringing her to the war camp to burn her at the stake (very medieval witch trial). It is then where Paal revealed his intentions to keep her as a sort of prize to stare at, burning her whenever he so felt it. Furthermore, Paal revealed that Evantis was to be his next heir as opposed to Ladon.
“Smile, girl, even in death, you are the centre of attention.”
Her status of a tortured prisoner lasted for quite a long time, thus permanently mentally scarring and traumatizing her, however, with the surprising help of Ladon, she has managed to receive any permanent wounds or burns from the fires.
She was rescued by her beloved.
For the past year since her freedom, Azalea and Galation have been living a more tame, domestic life in their seaside home to remain under the radar. She has also aided him in going to the old, abandoned Magistrate headquarters Norway to help his cause.
Galation proposed to Azalea after four years of dating. Azalea and Galation were engaged on 28th February, 2018.
I WANT TO HURT YOU JUST TO HEAR YOU SCREAMING MY NAME.
Paraphernalia.
Weapons.
Chain Whip — Decorated with pink flowers, and thick vines along the metal, of course. The whip has ten sections, its handle included. The mermaid used to use this more often, but keeps it fastened around her waist like a belt now that she prefers using her magic, or her voice.
Staff — Azalea’s staff very rarely comes out unless she really needs to unleash a great surge of magic. It has a wooden handle, and the skull that rests atop it is Ambrosia’s, with the dead witch’s amulet accessorizing the bone. Note: If Azalea actually has the need to use her staff in conjuring magic as opposed to just going freehand, she’s either trying to get all chaos to break loose, or is in a very bad situation in battle.
Grimoires —Azalea has several of these, either salvaged, found, or stolen. The main ones she uses are Lacrimis Syreni (Mermaid Tears), Liber Mortuorum (Book of the Dead), Flos Caeli (Flower of Heaven), Praesule Chaos (Dancer of Chaos), Venenum Oscula (Poison Kisses), Coeperunt Corda (Stained Hearts), and Carmina Hydra (Songs of the Hydra). Her own personal grimoire holds the spells borrowed from the ones mentioned beforehand, along with her own; It holds her most powerful magics: Petalis Tenebrarum (Chaotic Petals).
Attire.
Casual — She is mostly seen wearing a off-white, strapless gown that goes down to the floor, with quite the large slit going up to her right thigh. For someone so cautious about marriage, it’s kind of ironic that Azalea’s favourite outfit resembles a wedding dress. She has a pearl headdress with her signature azalea attached, along with pearl bracelets, and anklets. There are two pearl necklaces around her neck that she wears with pride. She is barefoot.
Travelling — Azalea still wears her signature attire at current, as she has been more stationary and not travelling as often these days.
Magistrate Mermaid — There are several times where Azalea has put on some of Galation’s clothes, pretending to be a Magistrate, but really, she just likes wearing her beloved’s stuff.
WITCHCRAFT IS WRITTEN ON HER LIPS.
Abilities/Powers.
Allow me to sing you a hymn to accompany you to the afterlife.
Azalea is like Aquaman, but cooler. She also has oral magic. Azalea’s power relies mainly on her voice, as like most of her kind, it has properties that are able to entice others. Her more powerful spells involve her having to sing lines, proses, etcetera instead of simply reciting them. The Sea Witch is notorious for her powerful vocals and the storms they cause. Even if she’s singing a song that means no harm, the light drizzle of rain is inevitable. As a mermaid, Azalea naturally has charms that seduce people, she normally feeds on their curiosity before submerging them under her control completely.
What the water gave me.
As a renowned sorceress, her spells are usually related to water, and nature in the elemental front, but she also plays with the dark arts: curses, hexes, and is even capable of dabbling in healing properties. Like most other mermaids, Azalea is capable of manipulating the weather, though hers is a bit more heightened than the regulars. She is also capable of summoning monsters, demons, and spirits of water to be bound to her in a mutual agreement. To sum it up, she has mastered several kinesis: hydrokinesis, telekinesis, gelidkinesis, hydro-thermokinesis, hydro-cryokinesis, substanciakinesis, and atmokinesis. Azalea is not so delicate a flower that her petals can be so easily crushed.
You should have listened to my warning.
The Sea Witch has quite the wrath, and survivors of both the plague and her storms are both considerably ‘fortunate.’ Azalea has mellowed some what since the incident, and hasn’t caused a massive amount of deaths without a care. Her targets usually are, as quotes, “men (and women) with dark hearts.” Azalea doesn’t live up to 300 like most mermaids, and instead has to continuously do what her Gods expect of her in order to guarantee her survival. In addition to this, Nerissa is her life source, whom has managed to avoid permenant death twice. Meaning, Azalea cannot die even if in the most severe mutilation unless Nerissa has been killed. Don’t get any ideas, bub.
Fighting Style.
I’ve got real big plans, and such bad thoughts.
Though light enough to be quick, and having the ability to be quite flexible, Azalea isn’t very strong. Her stamina is relatively impressive, however she lacks brute strength and thus avoids conflicts that are too close. If it does, she usually uses her chain whip, though mostly to cause geysers beneath the ground to erupt, and causing enough of a distance to form between her, and whomever she is battling. Azalea is not much of a fighter, better at causing mass genocide, or massacre.
I’m going to take you down.
Mentioned prior, Azalea doesn’t bode well in hand-to-hand combat, and is better at a distance. Unlike Nerissa, who can find fortune in the tide of battle either at a distance, or in closer proximities, Azalea has to be cautious and ensure there is always a gap between her and her opponent(s). Her strategy always involves her summoning a storm, as whether on land or sea, the water is her greatest ally — So, here comes the heavy downpour! Still, she’s capable of casting spells at a quick pace.

Trivia.
— Azalea does not actually care too much for people eating seafood, though requests that they don’t eat it in her presence. If she consumes seafood, though, she tends to get nauseous.
— Though very eloquent and intelligent in terms of conversation, Azalea is notorious for her puns. She tends to say things like ‘fins’ instead of ‘sins,’ for instance.
— In reference to The Little Mermaid, Azalea is both the story’s main character and the Sea Witch.
— She is one of the members of The Fairest Five, actually ranking first and thus being The Fairest of them all. As Azalea is a fairy tale, she occasionally will drop subtle hints of knowing others based on them.
— Though embarrassed by it, Azalea does use seashell bras, which she has made herself in her free time.
— Azalea is less fertile than normal, which may be due to that she has both mermaid and human biology. She can have children, though the timing window has to be precise. Furthermore, when it’s mating season, Azalea has rather intense ... Urges.
— Azalea (and Nerissa) shares the same birthday as her writer, for some reason.
— She sings. A lot. In almost every conversation she has, Azalea will either reference a song in a sentence, or blatantly sing out the lyric.
— She has a bad habit of saying ‘pwah,’ eating too much seaweed, and possibly even hoarding. Azalea tends to find anything she finds under the sea as a form of treasure in some way, thus her cave tends to look more like a gallery of her collections.
— ‘Azalea’ in Greek means dry apart from being a name of a flower, which is ironic as if Azalea dehydrates, she will be in a near death state. Furthermore, Azalea also comes from the sea, a place that’s wet. Mad trivia.
— Azalea and her story is based off on The Little Mermaid (with several twists), the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, tied in with Greek mythology. Azalea will often make references to this, as in her canon she is in fact The Little Mermaid. That being said, Disney’s take on the movie is also considered based on her, though more loosely and inaccurate in Azalea’s, and particularly her family’s, eyes.

SHE WEARS ALL BLACK LIKE HER SOUL …
Physique.
Biological Age: 26. Eye Colour: Pink. Hair Colour: Approximately fifty shades of grey. Height/Weight: 169cm/62kg. Build: Hourglass/Slender. Skin Tone: Fair. Face Shape: Oval. Distinguishing Feature(s): A scar in the shape of a ‘x’ on her neck, one large scar on her stomach, and another between her bust, just lots of scars in general.
... BUT HER HEART’S MADE OF GOLD.
Personality.
Positive.
Nerine, on the surface, has more negative traits than positive, and to most she just seems like the opposite of Azalea; Misunderstood to represent all of Azalea’s anger, her darkness, and her hatred as if she was just her shadow. They wouldn’t be wrong, though that was before she developed a personality of her own, before she decided that she wasn’t forced to live in Azalea’s shadow. There’s a positive trait — Perseverance. Nerine doesn’t give up easily, evident from the way she held out as long as she could in her captivity.
Though it’s hard to tell at first, she has a good heart, and has good intentions. Nerine has a soft spot for the weak, defenseless, and young children. She uses her identity as Black Pearl to help the needy, though keeps her identity under wraps.
She’s very often seen as cold and mistaken as cruel, but in reality she’s rather kind, just unapproachable. She isn’t sadistic, she just seems like it; An old torture trick she picked up on the way, people find you a whole lot more intimidating when they think you get off to inflicting harm on other people.
Negative.
Very, very volatile. She can go from being somewhat decent, and relaxed, to being aggressive in seconds if provoked or rubbed the wrong way. Nerine is very suspicious, and extremely distrusting to those she meets at first, which can be a good thing, if she wasn’t so paranoid. Her overall behaviour can be ultimately be seen as a rude, and unapproachable. She’s working on it, bless her heart.
A very reserved individual, Nerine can be seen as too selective, or choosy in her nature. She doesn’t show it much, but vengeance tends to bubble in her.
I WANT TO TEACH YOU A LESSON.
Paraphernalia.
Weapons.
Blades. Lots of blades. Nerine specializes in daggers, and knives; Anything that’s capable of stabbing, cutting, or slicing at preferably a closer range has a place in her holsters. Nerine can also attack at more ranged distances by throwing her weaponry. Though she fancies seeing blood drawn up close. She carries several daggers, and knives, all hidden underneath the cape of her cloak. She has a pair of dual-ended daggers, her main weaponry, in holsters that are fastened by her thighs. Both of them belonged to her mother. Ironically, one of them was the same dagger Zosime nearly used to stab Nerine when she was still a baby. Family heirlooms are great.
Nerine also used to use a bullwhip, too. Now, I’m not saying she’s into kinky stuff … But some people say they’ve seen her moonlight as a dominatrix. In fights, she’s actually very efficient with one, either taking them out by strangulation, by giving permanent afflictions like blinding them, or simply whipping them in a very not fun way.
She is also rather adept in using a spear, though only when needed.
Abilities/Powers.
Unlike Azalea, Nerine had no initial connection to magic. However, Nerine was capable of passing through things in a tangible state. Her speed, and durability are heightened and at their peak. It should be noted that she is not immortal, though has a higher pain tolerance, and can come out alive even if badly scathed.
Her absorption and turning into The Styx permits her to enter and leave the Underworld as she likes, however she also can hear the whispers of dead souls telling her when someone is going to die; Hence the nickname ‘Singer of Shadows.’
Nerine, though no longer really considered just a mermaid, has maintained her allure. Her charms are just as enticing as say, Azalea’s, and this is most effective on mortals. Lately Nerine has begun to start singing again, and thus her voice is capable of causing storms like most mermaids.
Fighting style.
She is agile, and her movements enable her to move fluidly like an acrobat — Just like water. Her knives and daggers enable her to fight in a close proximity, and her fast-paced move set makes it easy for her to dodge and strike at the right timing. To most, Nerine might seem to fight dirty, as she normally bides her time in her assaults. Survival of the fittest. Nothing personal.
Now, you’re probably thinking that if you take her weapons away, she’d be useless in a fight. You would be wrong. Partially. At hand-to-hand combat, she is quite capable of holding her own, and has a rather remarkable amount of strength. With all the free time she had from being a wandering soul, she took up the time to learn up some martial arts for survival skills. If the situation gets too tough, her phasing ability lets her avoid being pummelled to the ground.
Trivia.
— Although identical to Azalea aside from the obvious colour scheme difference, she is paler, has distinguishably sharper features (e.g., her cheekbones), and much more intense eyebrows. Nerine is also slightly taller than Azalea due to her ‘new body.’
— The mystery of her capes having limitless capacity/storage is never properly explained, or understood. It’s a secret that she’ll never tell.
— She used to cut her hair frequently, letting it grow to her lower back but never longer, this was a running joke as she gets confused for Nereus from behind.
— Nerissa’s favourite food is pizza. Upon being reborn, Nerine hates pizza.
— Due to trauma, she used to occasionally self-harm, mostly so that she can feel something to distract her from her thoughts and memories. Fading/Healing scars or wounds can be seen at the backs of her wrists, or her thighs (ergo why she tends to keep those portions of her skin covered).
— Her black pearls are actually more like shackles, tying her to the Underworld.
— Like Azalea, she gets nauseous after consuming seafood.
— Really hates jellyfish.
— Drools excessively when she sleeps.
