NEW MUSIC:

Asking Alexandria’s Danny Worsnop released a cover of Gnarls Barkley's classic hit “Crazy.” The song follows his other cover of Amy Winehouse's song “Back to Black,” which was released back in May.

Biffy Clyro released a music video for the song “Space,” which comes off of their new album A Celebration of Endings. The recent LP is currently standing at the top of the midweek UK Albums Chart. 

Neverkept released a new single titled “Sundown, Somehow,” which narrates the “ups and downs you face in recovery or struggles in any capacity.” The song follows two previous singles, “Complicated” and “Reunion Tower.”

You Me at Six released a brand new single, “MAKEMEFEEALIVE,” along with a music video. The song marks the first new music from the band since the song “Our House (The Mess We Made)” back in February.

Point North released a music video for their track “No One's Listening,” off of their debut album Brand New Vision. The song and video narrates a message towards the abolishing of ICE in the United States.

Movements released the second single from their upcoming second album No Good Left to Give, titled “Skin to Skin.” The band recently released a previous single, “Don't Give Up Your Ghost,” alongside an animated music video.

Neck Deep released a cover of the classic song “Flagpole Sitta” by Harvey Danger for Amazon Music. The original song was notably used as the theme music for the British TV sitcom Peep Show.

This Wild Life released a cute ukulele cover of the viral track “Death Bed (Coffee for Your Head),” originally by Powfu and Beabadoobee. The original song previously received a remix featuring Blink-182.

Girlfriends returned with their highly-awaited follow up single “Eyes Wide Shut,” after the release of their debut single “California.” The group’s co-founder, T.Mills, originally made a name for himself in music thanks to MySpace.

TOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Thursday played a special livestream gig last Wednesday, supported by a pre-filmed set from Cursive as well as And So I Watch You From Afar. As an added bonus, My Chemical Romance’s Frank Iero filled in on guitar.

The Maine's John O'Callaghan performed a one-take live version of the band's song “Numb Without You” from the studio. The band are bidding farewell to the You Are OK era with “Flowers on the Grave,” a livestream concert, this Saturday.

Rock Sound held its “Rock Sound Summer Show” digital event last Friday, featuring a lineup of 13 acts. Among the lineup included performances by PVRIS, Against the Current, Enter Shikari, State Champs and more.

Slam Dunk Festival revealed its second wave of bands for its 2021 event. Joining the lineup are the likes of NOFX, Billy Talent, the Used and State Champs, among several others.

Parkway Drive rescheduled the dates for their Viva the Underdogs headlining North American tour. The tour will now take place in 2021, with Hatebreed, Knocked Loose and Fit for a King returning for the new dates.

OTHER NEWS:

Apple Music Hits announced several exclusive shows from various artists including Blink-182's Mark Hoppus. His show, titled After School Radio, focuses on songs, artists and the culture he experienced over his career.

Jimmy Eat World's Jim Adkins released the latest episode of his new podcast Pass-Through Frequencies, this week featuring Dashboard Confessional's Chris Carrabba. The friends first met at a show in New Jersey two decades ago.

On Thursday, Never Shout Never frontman Christofer Drew took to social media to announce his new psychedelic project Dryymy. He went on to assure fans that a new single and record through the project are coming soon.

Frankie Banali, legendary drummer of Quiet Riot, passed away at the age of 68 due to pancreatic cancer. According to his wife Regina, Banali passed away Thursday night in Los Angeles surrounded by family and friends.

Machine Gun Kelly and Blackbear‘s latest collaboration “My Ex’s Best Friend” dethroned Twenty One Pilots‘ “Level of Concern” on Billboard’s Rock Streaming Songs chart. The TØP single formerly held the No. 1 spot for four months.
