I made a quick stop between storms Friday evening and it paid off with 10 bass landed and even more misses. Well, some misses I shook off as they weren't big enough. The @missile_baits #DBomb in Bruised Plum and the #shockwave in Candy Grass were my weapons. 50 lb @fishseaguar Flippin Braid and 10 lb Red Label fluorocarbon made it happen. And I had them on @wootungsten #NeverChip flipping weights and swimbait hooks. I got out with my buddy Tim yesterday and had an AWESOME time!! I started off by catching the first 2 bass and then it all went south. Nothing I did worked. Both came off wood, and I was using a @powerteamlures grub rigged on 59 lb @fishseaguar Flippin' Braid and a @wootungsten #NeverChip weight and a @gamakatsu.usa super line hook, but could not get another bite on wood. But Tim finally decided to get in the game, yet not until late in the day did he get a bite on wood. And while a spinnerbait should have excelled, not one strike. Made a quick stop with my little brother today. The mayflies were terrible. The @missile_baits D Bomb in Bruised Plum sure did great rigged with a 3/16 NeverChip @wootungsten on 65 lb @fishseaguar Smackdown Stealth Gray Braid and my @quantum.fishing gear performed flawlessly! Bill used a Missile Baits 48 in Junebug to land a pickerel and this sweet bass. @wootungsten Never Chip and also Never Guess 👌 We are anglers just like you and we started WOO! Tungsten because we were tired of fishing with weights that chipped after half a day on the water. We also hated having to guess which size we were tying on. A 3/16 oz looks very similar to a 1/8 oz but as you know, they fish completely differently.
