In my case at the age of 17 I was told that my body had #attackedmyliver causing #irreversible #cirrhosis to my #liver - I was told I would #neverbeabletohavechildren I would always need to take #medication and at the age of 30 I would need a #livertransplant - I got to 32. Now I am campaigning for organ transplantation to be brought on to the #nationalcurriculum and I have written a #childrensbook that I hope to #selfpublish later this year in the aim of helping to #educatechildren and their parents about the wonderful #gift which is #organdonation - #presumedconsent may help with the #shortageoforgans but only #informededucation will change things. Please consider becoming an #organdonor on the #nhsorgandonorregister But also consider signing my #petition - you really could #savelives #savealife - I’m only alive today because someone signed the organ donor register and now I’m going to be given an indefinite amount of time to spend with those I love. However I may need another #transplant in the future and there is no guarantee I will get one. I don’t want anyone else to go through this.
