Stop enabling thievery in the Sims community. Don't steal poses/content.
@hellosimsulani (known as Simsulani) is stealing poses of multiple posemakers and is making money from it, taking advantage of those posemakers' work, but also of her (paying) Patrons by deceiving them with content that isn’t hers and already exists for free. It is proven with at least 15 affected creators and there are more yet to be uncovered. Because of theft we lost ToysOfDukeness as posecreator. Stealing people’s work is not okay, people pour passion into their creations. We are losing talented Simmers because of theft.
See the proof here (the document is under construction and more is to be investigated): SIMSULANI STOLEN CONTENT
Simsulani has been stealing poses for YEARS. She went unnoticed because she is good at camouflaging. It is incredibly hard to notice the stolen poses at first glance, it is a frankenmesh fiasco. I tried to dissect the poses and find the original creators, it is a slow and tedious process.
Groups and couples got split up and merged. Places in groups got swapped and/or rotated. Normal couples or single poses suddenly got a kid or partner (or both). Some expressions were made clownesque, exaggerated or the eyes closed. To make it harder, she added accessories or removed them. She changed the body anatomy (resulting in broken poses sometimes) to make it appear different.
In some preview images clipping and/or weird gaps are very noticable. It shows they were posing with someone or something that got removed or changed around.
Why did I share this? Pose makers can make mistakes, everyone does, but these traces of thievery and dedication to it instead of making her own poses. And she is earning money from poses that creator’s share for free.
I am not against early access (I am against perma paywalls though), but if you ask people for money to access your content early, you should deliver content of your own or you aren’t fit for content monetization. Content of your own or go home. Don’t steal others' poses or meshes to fill your wallet. Same for commissions, people commission you to create something, not to steal something.
So please, if you’re a posemaker, check if you were affected and share it, she even got poses of a small posemaker like me. If it is confirmed I will add it to the document.
For pose users, please don't support Simsulani’s behavior. There are many amazing pose creator’s she stole the poses from, please go to the original creators instead and not to Simsulani. Money will aid in enabling her so please cancel your subs.
And Simsulani, please cancel all the Patreon tiers until you make your own poses and go make your own poses from scratch. Never steal anyone’s poses again.
----
I am not releasing my centaur pose pack today, my apologies, but this all feels too bitter.
I am so not okay with all the stolen content I have seen so far - and I know there is so much more hidden (also besides Simsulani and besides poses). I don’t want this to continue for us. The Sims community is supposed to be a creative outlet and fun place. So please let change happen. Don’t enable thieving creators, don’t give them download numbers or money for content that isn’t their own. There are many wonderful Simmers and creators out there creating amazing content, go to them instead.
A big thank you to ToysOfDukeness and @simmireen to paving the way. I am just a small pose creator, but I hope there will be a ripple.

Lol Linda didn't JUST namedrop DeeDee and shit on her content. She downloaded ALL OF DEEDEE'S CONTENT on tumblr looking for stuff that had too big of textures and only found ONE ITEM. She decided to put Deedee on blast for that one issue.
She's going through free creator's stuff in order to find anything she can point out as flawed and say "THESE FREE CREATORS ARE THE REASON WHY YOU HAVE PINK FLASHING!! ONLY ME AND MY PERMA-PAYWALL FRIENDS KNOW HOW TO MAKE CONTENT!! SO BUY FROM US!!"
I guess they're not making enough money rn so they have to whine and bitch about people who provide their stuff for free.
Mean-fucking-while, Linda and her friends are taking meshes from GorillaGorillaGorilla, Bank42, Rimmings, Backtrack CC and MAMY other sims 4 CC creators, converting them to sims 2 and making a profit off of OTHER PEOPLE'S MESHES AND TEXTURES.
They're like "wahhh making good conversions is hard!! I deserve to be payed for the work I do!"
But you know what's even harder? Making models from scratch! If you and your paywall buddies want to understand why people are pissed off at you, Linda, TRY MAKING MESHES FROM SCRATCH YOURSELF. It's not fucking easy. You are making money off of other people's models+textures, including bodyshapes, clothes, furniture and more. This is someone else's hard work you're making a profit off of.
Also. The "pink flashing" is just a fucking excuse. She's like "I have mine and my friends' content in my game and I never experience pink flashing!"
Yeah? Well i guess what? I have content from deedee, fakeblood, R13 and other creators she decides to shit on and I don't experience pink-flashing either! I don't even experience crashing. This is because pink-flashing has nothing to do with high-poly meshes or big textures! I know people who play with no cc at all and get pink-flashing. We still don't know the cause of it.
I bet if Linda got a different laptop, she'd be experiencing pink-flashing left-and-right, because I do have some of her shit from and GOD ARE THEY HIGH POLY AS FUCK.
On another note.. Sorry about the rant; I had to get it out of my system because I don't have a public tumblr blog, but I've been using tumblr to find cc for years, and I've been following this Linda drama since like 2020. It still makes me fucking lividd.
OMFG You're KIDDING. She downloaded ALL of her stuff just to try and be a bitch? Amazing. I knew that she was the worst but I had no idea it was like that.
It's so funny because back in like '21 when we were having all that drama about Sunny targeting pay creators I was always like they suck but honestly live and let pirate, you know? If someone's stupid enough to pay for this shit, let them. I never had a problem as long as they didn't try to impede on pirating. Get your bag, girl.
But what exactly is Linda trying do? Make people feel like paying for content is the only reasonable way to get it?

SO lilsims*e went on a rant about defending early access creators during one of her last lives (4/24 - around 2 hours and 24 minutes) and let me tell you, it was quite something to watch someone completely misrepresent an argument like that.
I didn’t expect much of her, since she's friends with "charging 3 dollars for nipple overlays" littled*ca, but it was so low of her to claim that the people who are against editing a mesh for five minutes and putting it behind a paywall for WEEKS can't make CC of their own, specially since a lot of the people against EA are creators of amazing content here on simblr.
ps: it's also funny to watch perma paywallers get blamed for being the worst (they are), but it's not exclusively perma paywallers that doxx people 🫣🫣🫣
I've never watched her in my life and im not gonna start now lol. idc, she can have her opinion or w/e, she's entitled to that. but I know she upset several ppl with how she spoke to them during this stream (you're not the first person to tell me this) so hopefully she doesn't talk to any of her other followers like that in the future.
anyways, unconnected to her bc idk her, just going off some of the other things you said- it also confuses me when ppl say those critical of early access don't know how to make cc. We do know how to make cc, that's the problem. If we didn't, we wouldn't know about LODs or poly or hat chops or the amount of effort it takes to make an item. The ppl that don't know how to make cc are generally ok with it and I've had a few ppl tell me they became disillusioned with early access once they learned how to make cc. Or people that couldn't afford dlc and then when they finally got it one way or another, realizing that the cc they had was just slightly changed from items they get from ea's packs. I've heard both sentiments a lot.
also, yes, perma-paywallers have now become the boogeymen/scapegoat that creators can point to to make themselves look better whilst at the same time not doing anything to actually help. many early access creators only mentioned the doxxing ring to assure people that they would never do that and they are safe. that was the theme of most of their posts and there hasn't been a peep about it since. And I've never seen any big early access creators talk about their fellows (early access) that have also doxxed people or held any scummy business practices for that matter. Such as manipulating patreon's billing system for their own benefit to charge people twice. They never speak about any of the problems of the system and just go "permas are the real problem" without ever suggesting anything to be done about the permas or even just making their followers more aware of what the problem is or how to stay safe.
I don't really expect this to change. Right now, the sims 4 community is dominated by and built on a system of monetization. This includes not only paywallers of cc but simstubers that are fueled by ad revenue, sponsorships, and stream donations. They are all connected, to each other and to EA. And at the end of the day, it all comes back to money. So it will not change or be dismantled until the Sims 4 dies and they move on to the next thing that makes more money. I haven't found any solution for this other than just not paying them a cent, blocking them preferably, and keeping your own circle of people/followers aware of who isn't safe while just hoping for the best.

What Dollhouse Mafia dulls are doing : DULLhouse Mafia's barbarian action
DollHouseMafia became DullHouseMafia, which shares paid CCs for The Sims 4 in telegram, smells like spoiled dairy products now. Like any other groups, which has unwavering managing group for a long time, it became 'I-WON'T-HEARING-ANYONE' group like we can see similar cases in history.
When you join the group, you will enjoy the warm aura at the moment, but you will get it soon that your comments will be deleted without proper reason even your comments make sense.
Because the manage group, 'mods' in other words, only stands behind who sharing CCs, and if he or she said something untrue, it become roughly true in that group. Doner says always right thing in that group.
But it won't go long, because they can't remember that you did donation before. They are willing to do rude things to you. Their head storage is too small to remember something.
And they show tantrums when you just mention about the price of the CCs. Of course, people in the group usually are either a miser or not really going to pay any money for CCs. But when you just say how much the CCs are, you can see their tantrums in various way. Sometimes they look like burning moth. It's one of their funny reactions in the group.
However, DullHouse has several channels, and they sometimes ask each other for CCs. And you can see their another funny actions.
They can't even search what they want. They seriously NEED HELP when searching CCs, while normal people can search google, tsr or any other search engines. And I think some of them maybe are under IQ70s or suspicious adults who can't have credit cards.
They are just CC junkies. They just can't do ordinary thinking. NEW CCs are all they want. Or they want to excavate old FORGOTTEN CCs even their creators want to forget. They are endlessly screaming 'mine! mine!' like seagulls in FINDING NEMO.
They can't be creative. They are being parasites for 2~3 years since the group born, and never tried to learn any creative skills. Think about these 2~3 years. Some CC creators became famous, enhenced their skills, be an EA partners, or earned some money. But them? They are still in Goddamn shithole. Begging CCs 3 years ago still begging CCs there. I think they have no future.
They leak other people's CCs and Mods like pee leaking. They spill other people's bags of beans without any guilts. They leak other people's time, blood, sweat and tears without feeling sorry. I think they are going to spill great amount of pee when they get old same way, and they might join a group named 'DiaperHouse Mafia'.
They have no patience. At first, they showed respect to Early Access creators. At least they pretended to. But now, they are just dogs which drool, pulled their brains out whether it is Early Access or Perma Paywalled.
They are shameless. The mods who are managing the group became soaked in inertia. People would finally know what is in the mods' tiny brain. [Donation], in other words [Money] is always RIGHT, huh?
At first, they showed themselves as CC pirate badasses. But now? They are as obeying dogs to their doners. And they are not even badasses, they are just pooping asses. All they can product is only poop.
They have no principle, rules or any respectful behavior. They want just free things without any responsibility.
In conclusion, they lost their direction.
Meanwhile, people in the group showed helping mind even in their hard circumstances, but now?
They are just helpless BEGGARS.
Once, they had some compelling reasons, but now all they can do is just whining.
What they still missed out is that CC making needs education, skills which need thousand of times and efforts. It's different from the time when playing with sloppy polygons in old times.
Of course, CC creators who create awful polygons should not thumbs up to this post. Some of them should not even feel happy at this article.
It is kind of destiny to get criticism since when you decided to publish your CCs to everyone.
People have EYEs, SENSEs and Aesthetic criteria.
Some of creators should be aware of how hard it is to get money from CCs and to satisfy others, and do not make fun of their CUSTOMERS.
If you once decided to sell your products, you have to treat your CUSTOMERS. Do not block or mock any of customers without proper reason.
Always be in your mind that transaction and contract make new relationship between you and your followers.
If you do not? I won't care about being your CCs are in that Dullhouse Mafia's savage hands or not.
I only feel sorry for hardworking creators and their cc leaks.

Ok so here's the thing. I don't particularly like when I see/hear that a simmer has gone and taken a free mesh from EA, retextured it, PAY-FUCKING-WALLED it cause they really did some shit. GG. You get a trophy. I'm Peppermint Petty who lives on Petty Lane in Pettysville so I don't ever hope or wish for harm to others. But stop for a moment and think about what you did. Are you going to lose subscribers? Maybe. Are people going to unfollow you on your socials? Also a possibility. Will there be a lot of talk and nothing is done? Also sadly, a very real possibility if no one takes this seriously.
There is always this big shit drama about those who patiently wait for CC to drop vs those who sail the seven seas. Then you have those that simp, not sim but SIMP, for the perma-paywall stuff. Is it worth it? Only if the creator can rig the mesh right. I can't. So I don't (create or simp. Simping is eww.). I have a very close friend who can mesh in her sleep & it's detailed like a blender render but low poly. I would marry her but her hubby won't go for that.
This is LITERALLY the perfect time for those in the USA as we approach our long holiday weekend. Let me set aside the colonizer speech & the mass marketing frenzy that is Black Friday. (take a few moments to pause here, I did when writing this) It's kinda funny to me the parallels between that & CC creators who PW and hype up something that will happen A wHoLe AsS mOnTh FrOm ToDaY!!!!1!!1!!!1111111 Sounds like Black Friday advertising to me. huh Guess that makes this parallel even better. Saturday is SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY. I challenge you to search #ts4freecc & reblog tha beejeezusss out of the creators AND STORYTELLERS who do NOT get the love they deserve. FIND NEW CREATORS to follow!!!!! LIFT UP the community we love. Don't make me get Mariah over here to start her sanging, she's fully thawed out.
Also I must state, I am still a newbie, I got this thought after rolling thru my BFF frannnnss stories @cinamun & I was on like Nov 16?? HAD I CONTINUED FIVE POSTS. I would have seen this one by @tau1tvec I 10000% did not mean to take an idea. I'm just pissed for the ones who do good work and never get any recognition.

slayslayslay69420 again - This time I come to you needing advice. me Whenever I go to ts4 rebels and try to click on a link to download it tries to make me download a google extension but it never works. I was wondering if you or anyone seeing this has had any experience with this or its something wrong with my browser (I use chrome and have tried safari). Also curious about your opinion on those who perma-paywall their cc: personally it annoys me but wanna know what you think.
Please, and I repeat PLEASE, NEVER click on anything or download anything from a link that pops up after trying to download on TS4 Rebels. It is malware and/or a virus and it is not your friend. Just exit the link that pops up immediately and do not open any zip or any file that comes from that pop uplink.
As for perma paywall (especially those who charge an obscene amount), I don't support it, and never will. I think some people forget that this game is ridiculously expensive for no reason whatsoever. We're getting an EP on horses when in the Sims 3 it was already included in Cats & Dogs? We got occults such as vampires, but that was included in the City Pack in the Sims 3?
Now you don't have to pay for it, but regardless, this is an expensive game with too many issues and scams to count, so paying for perma paywall CC is ridiculous. I fully, 100% support Early Access CC however though. My only time I didn't was when the new Growing Together EP came out and people we're releasing recolorings of infant closes and charging early access for a mesh they didn't make.
I hope that sheds some light on my opinion on paywall & non-paywall cc!

Tyler Winston Cars Whereabouts & Updates
On September 15, 2023, I reappeared to the public to revive my spark for making custom content in The Sims 4. I posted a few updates for my old releases. After the last update that I did last September 26, 2023, I disappeared to the public again despite the schedules lined up for future releases.
I know it is unprofessional to keep everyone hanging without notice, and I might have broken everyone's trust by disappearing out of nowhere, I would like to apologize for my careless actions.
Where Was I These Past Several Months?
While I was away, I looked for 3D models that I could use in making Sims 4 Cars since my main source of 3D models is currently unavailable for maintenance. I have found a new source of 3D Models, but it has limited models available compared to my main source.
I have made a few cars and I'm preparing them for future releases. I never notified anyone about it, even my friends making cars for Sims 4. I will be posting more teasers soon, so stay tuned!
What About The Old Releases That Haven't Received An Update Yet?
I will be updating them slowly, but there are cars that I've made before that needed an update in textures and models and I might delete them from the public until further notice.
Candidates for Temporary Deletion
2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser - Outdated Interior Texture
2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 - Outdated Interior Texture
2016 Pagani Huayra BC - Needs Model Replacement
2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 - Needs Remodelling (Potentially)
2016 Lamborghini Aventador SV - Needs Model Replacement
2009 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG - Outdated Interior Texture
So What Are Your Plans for the Future?
I still want to make cars for Sims 4 since I've been doing it for years since I was a teen, but I want to keep things smoothly for myself without too much pressure. I want to make being a Custom Content Creator something that I genuinely enjoy, and not something that I am required to do.
So with my return, I want to keep things at my own pace without being pressured just because only a few people are seeing the things that I make. I also want to keep things healthy without intending to compete with other Sims 4 Car Creators in the community because I never wanted to compete with anyone in the first place and all I want to do is to do whatever I enjoy and share it with everyone.
Do You Have Any Plans To Monitize All The Custom Content You Make?
Yes. I won't be denying that. Ever since I was a teen, I've been planning to monetize it with Patreon, but due to my age at that time, I didn't manage to do it. Now that I'm an adult, I want to continue my plans to monetize all the custom content that I make. Currently, I plan on how to monetize my Custom Contents and possibly market it to more people who also play Sims.
I have opened my Patreon Account, so feel free to check it. (But don't do any paid subscriptions yet since I'm still working on it)
Does That Mean You'll Put Your Custom Content Behind A Paywall?
Yes and No.
I will be putting my custom content on a paywall only for a certain period of time, but I want to make that length reasonable not only for me but for everyone so that everyone can still support me without the requirement of spending a dime.
I have shown a STRONG OPPOSITION against Perma-Paywall Creators in the past, so the last thing I'll do as a Custom Content Creator is to put everything that I make behind a Paywall permanently.
I want to keep it as fair as possible for everyone, whether they are a paying supporter or a non-paying supporter, so don't worry much about it.

i have so many thoughts about EA’s statement abt paywalled content, some of which conflict. something really needed to be done about completely unreasonable “early access” content (like a month or more for a public release??) perma paywalled cc, creators tracking and doxxing those who distributed the files. i think we forget that at the end of the day a lot of this community is young people, charging 20 bucks for 1 cc set is morally disgusting esp when the people paying these are probably mainly teenagers/college aged people, & EA is already bleeding us dry.
but also it sucks this will hurt modders who actually make the game so much better and put in so much effort (like lumpinou or cc creators releasing entire sets w very reasonable early access) i think the takes like “why did they ever depend on this as a job” etc are kind of hurtful, specifically abt people who actually put work in. i’m not talking abt slight mesh edits and stolen meshes,, but idk making mods & cc do take legitimately so much time and work, as a hopefully future artist who is hopefully going to be largely dependent on like youtube ad revenue, and very possibly something like Patreon, it is a little disappointing to see takes like “get a real job.” it makes it really clear people just don’t value specific type of work bc they don’t see it as legitimate. but it is totally possible i’m letting my future goals paint that view.
but also i’m equally tired of every single post on my dash being a early access piece of cc i wouldn’t get for weeks, and overall i think my take is just that i hate it ever got to this point. i wish that we never monitiezed this hobby community so deeply. i miss exchanging free cc on simblreen and when it felt like the biggest simblrs on the platform cared about the game, before they all just became patreon cc creators who only post when they’re promoting a cc pack. this isn’t meant to @ anybody in particular (except creators like f*lix and s*xam and others like that, fuck those guys fr.) but really just my late night musing abt how this community has changed since i first joined and a bit of sadness for the implications this will have on mod creators who are legit the saving grace to my game, but also that i’m glad that we finally will have some system for the really exploitive people. and some apprehension that this will actually stop those people and not just prevent aforementioned modders who do work hard.

So it seems some cc creators are nuking themselves over the statement from EA
I always knew that the time would come when EA would finally address this whole perma paywall thing. I just didn't think it would come so sudden, it's not like they didn't know what was up they knew. EA made a reference to wickedwhims in the game called whicker whims it's the laundry basket in the game(lmao). So they knew that people were having mods and cc in the game, the whole doxxing situation just bought it to the light what was really going on behind closed doors and I feel it made them have no choice but to address this issue.
Back in 2017 is when I feel patreon started to become popular in the sims 4 community. I remember a lot of creators having everything for free and you had to go through adfly which I hated because of random pop ups on my laptop. Then all of a sudden things that were only supposed to be locked for 2-3 weeks because months and then YEARS. Then all of a sudden you had gifts and exclusive cc popping up and it became so normalized. These same creators that were making cc when the sims 4 came out that were free and used to release content after 2-3 weeks started not release anything at to the public.
After a while it became so hard to find good quality cc that I liked for my game that wasn't locked, and at the time I was a young teenager(now 23) so I didn't have money to buy anyones patreon and I knew I couldn't ask my parents to buy me cc for my game unless it was from EA. I know my parents would have looked at me crazy as to why i'm spending almost $30 a month on a video game. (Which I also want to bring awareness to this as well, not everyone is an adult and can just buy cc whenever they want there are kids and teenagers whose parents are not willing to spend monthly payments for something that's not made by EA themselves)
I hate when creators like to call simmers who can't afford their patreon cc broke. I promise you that is not the case for a majority of people who play the sims. Obviously there are people who can't afford it but nobody wants pay to up to 25-50 dollars a month on cc. Your NOT the only creator that someone is getting cc from and its seems(not all)like yall forget. That's basically a damn UTILITY BILL at that point.
If your so stressed about not being able to make money then put your talent to use and go into 3D software or be apart of a big gaming company like EA, Rockstar etc. or even a indie game like paralives which i'm sure they will be grateful for your help. But stop using the excuse woe is me I have student debt to pay I have bills to pay, I have this and that to pay for. So do your PATRONS that give you money every month they are REAL people THEY ARE NOT YOUR DIRECT DEPOSIT CHECK AT THE END OF THE MONTH.
It sucks that a bunch of people ruined it for everyone that actually enjoyed making content for the sims and went by the 2-3 week rule and NEVER perma paywalled. I hope you guys keep getting the love and support you deserve.
I hope what EA did was a eye opener to everyone to stop being greedy and to follow the rules, now everyone is feeling the effects of what's to come in the future.
And to the people who were subscribed to someone's patreon page and they decided to nuke their whole page after the statement from EA I hope that was a eye opener to you as well. Those creators only saw you guys as dollars signs and they never really cared about you. If they did their page would still be up and they would just ask for donations and make everything free, to them this was a job and not something that they were truly passionate about. I know cc is a lot of work as a beginner it's tough to figure how to use blender and the sims 4 studio and maya and marvelous designer. Everything on youtube is mostly a speed mesh tutorial and you have to set the video to like 0.25 just so you can follow along and replay every video at least 50 times to get it and most walkthroughs are hush hush. Everything is trial and error its days and weeks for something to be perfect for the public. If you really were passionate then you would still be here and i'm sure you lost loyal patrons that have been with you since day one, if you ever decided to come back.(but honestly the community has seen your true colors and i'm sure they wouldn't welcome you back with open arms sorry not sorry)
Anddd since it seems over the next few weeks and months to come a lot of big creators are probably going to leave. This is just a rumor but they are talking about making png files and object files to sell and for you to convert it in your game or they'll send you the package file. Some creators are talking about only making things for blender only but like you can't even play the sims properly in blender like that doesnt make sense at all?!?! You'll only be using it for pictures and that sounds like it would get boring after awhile because then you'll have to convert things over into blender and in the sims 4 studio because you want it in your game that seems like a lot of unnecessary steps to me just so you can still make a profit. But honestly that sounds like the whole doxxing ring all over again if you choose to do that then be safe(use a fake name and fake email address for everything so nothing can link you to your real identity). Who wants to go through all that when they can find someone else that has their download public.
But in good news that means a lot of small cc creators(myself) are going to be coming up in the next few months and years to come so I say now is the time that small cc creators need to be practicing their craft and promoting their cc to the community. If what learned from this whole patreon mess and doxxing ring is to help everyone who wants or is interested in making cc share everything from tutorials to walkthroughs even if it seems like newbie questions help out. Everyone started out as newbie and didn't know how to use the camera controls in blender(lmaooo my ass was struggling okay) hopefully we can repair and build back up the sims community.
Anyways rant over feel free to add your two cents if you want but I said what I said.

So.... There are modders out there who work to create stuff, stuff that you don't need to play the game and it takes them time and knowledge but you don't want to pay them? Okay. Maybe i'm the one who doesn't understand the problem? They work, they propose a product that you are in no way forced to buy but you don't want to? Then don't buy it? People donnt work for free what is this the 1660? What is the problem someone explain.
So.... There are modders out there who create stuff unto their own volition, stuff they were never forced to put their time into... they took it upon themselves to create something for a GAMING community that they once upon a time had a passion for... and for some (NOT ALL), that passion has soured.... And now they EXPECT payment to be made for something that (for some "artists") are stolen from other 3D modeling artists, in addition to using EA's original code, original files to port it into the game and blatantly profiting off of a company brand, not to mention exploiting its fans... That's like walking into a friend's closet, claiming you designed it, slapping a Dior patch on it and selling it. ILLEGAL. It's honestly about time EA put this new policy out, finally realizing the abuse that was happening right under their nose.
And just to be clear, I'm specifically calling out perma-paywallers. And you are right, I don't want to spend money on their work, nor have I. I know full well how to vote with my wallet, and I've done so. To creators in this community I feel are genuinely talented artists and deserving of support for their efforts. I pledge to a few different patreons for early access, knowing full well those items will be free evntually which could save money.. but I do this not because I'm FORCED to put my money in to get the items, rather because I'm in love with their work so much that I WANT to support them. That's literally it. If people love your work, they will support you if they can! Art was never meant to be monetized. Hobbies were never meant to be monetized! Especially in a world where hobbies are the only escape and solace the majority of people have to cope in this insane society structured around money and productivity.
So to answer your question, dear anon: The problem is morals. I cannot under my own conscious dump money into creators who have not only stolen art -- making profit off someone else's hard work -- but have also disrespected, doxxed, harrassed, and witch-hunted the people who actually supported them, calling others "poor" for not being able to buy their ridiculously overpriced pixels, crying about how Covid wrecked their lives the worst as if it didn't wreck us all, and throwing a tantrum over the latest devastation of a policy (which was always there) ruining their SOLE source of income that they never should have had in the first place.

So with the recent situation, Leosims’ name was brought up and seeing how ppl were mentioning that Leosims has admitted before that they were using meshes from other ppl, SL and etc., it reminded me of what I went through in 2020. I was kinda new to the whole…patreon thing. I was already a patreon to 2 other early access CC creators so I didn’t rly know how this perma-paywall thing worked. I became a patreon for Leosims hoping to gain access to a set they made a year ago. After becoming a patreon, I realized I still couldn’t access the file so I messaged them asking about it. Leosims replied that my tier was too low and if I wanted it, I’d have to pay more. I then brought up EA’s UGC terms and told them that what they were doing was technically violating those terms. Leosims followed up with screenshots of a supposed conversation they had with SimGuruDrake. In the conversation, SimGuruDrake told Leosims that “if the content is not made with EA Maxis’ mesh, then it belongs to the creator. EA has no involvement with what CC creators do with their CC that is created for the game; just as long as creators aren’t attempting to monetize EA’s IP in a way that would cause issues with the brand/trademark”. I feel like the screenshot was doctored but I was never able to confirm bcoz SimGuruDrake was no longer a SimGuru by then. I just wanted to know if you or someone could confirm if that statement supposedly made by SimGuru is true or not bcoz, to me, it’s very different from EA’s user agreement terms unless I understood it wrong??

Regarding all attention towards Doxxing. More information
Note that I do NOT use any of your information from my Patreon page! You can download all my CC for free there, using the attached file below the text.
read further under the cut.
I will never get any supporters for my dream job. But it doesn’t stop me for putting my CC up for free. In fact, I’m a happy person when I see that people use them in their creations. Yes you can always support me so that I can pay my rent and bills. But you are never required to pay for my content. I use Patreon mostly as a backup uploading place in case TSR is down for whatever reason.
Noticing that @antosims sends mails to people to track them makes me shocked. He was one of favorite creators. But lost all my respect now , I deleted most of his content weeks ago because I found more hair creators that have better hairstyles and more variety in styles.
Not only Anto but many other big creators such as @newseasims , @busra-tr and others are putting perma paywalls for their content and send you malware mails. Never open links from third party mails! It’s always trouble.
Permanent paywalls won’t get you anywhere unless it’s something you 100% own and made yourself. We simply edit and add our own styles to a game, but we never developed the Sims fully. This goes for many games like Second Life , and games that allow you to modify them.
I’m stopping all support for the creators on the list. I’m deeply ashamed to have supported these people. They should also be ashamed! But most will ignore all our opinions and act like nothing happened at all. 😢
Thanks for your support for for reading! ☺️

Hey! WCIF that pulse monitor in your latest post?
Hello, anon, that monitor is part of a set that is sadly behind a perma-paywall so I cannot directly link it from the creator. Unless you want to pay $20.00.
But since I'm super nice and have never cared for Patreon exclusives you can download that entire set for free HERE.
