It is the anniversary of EDSA People Power Revolution!!

Today I will show you "La villa de Ferdinando Marcos sur la mer" by Daniel Lavoie ("The Villa of Ferdinand Marcos By The Sea")

Really old French song from 1986. The music video and costume choices are very interesting as well, from Daniel's use of a luxury car and breaking into a ramshackle/squatters' building, (the military under him used to persecute anyone tagged as reds, including students and activists. The poor were covered up) his "Marcos" character bowing to the only "human" in his audience (the Imelda woman) while everyone else are cardboard silhouettes, the trail of shoes leading to her (Imelda was known to have a shopping addiction with countless luxury shoes)

they're very short shots but I think for a foreigner he really was on point with them. It's a very good song and I hope you will give it a listen
