only now finding out about neumorphism and. how can people miss the point of skeumorphism so bad
#not even gonna go on whether it looks good or not (it depends. some designs look like shit some are cool etc)#but the point / fun of skeumorphism is that things are represented by physical objects#neumorphism realizes we're starved for buttons after 10+ years of progressively touchscreen-ization of interfaces but can't let go of#minimalism and sleekness (as defined by the 2020s)#idk early mac os was super minimalist in style so maybe that argument doesn't make a lot of sense#but it feels like the point is to look elegant and Premium? hm 🤔#whatever. dont wanna write A Whole Thing#btw sorry for who i might become now ill be working as an ux designer#ive a feeling ill have a ton of web thoughts in a short period of time#(would prolly happen with any job tbqh)
