Oblivion is so difficult because on the one hand, it's a genuinely enjoyable game and it provides valuable additions to Elder Scrolls lore, but on the other: it took Cyrodiil, which was long established to be Fantasy Rome, made everything Vaguely Medieval European, and filled it 95% full of British accents with names like Roger Nettlebone or some shit, which was illegal and a waste of my time
