a common criticism of netflixvania i see a lot is the whole "church bad" thing (i will admit it became so reddit atheism in the later seasons though) but i don't really see it... like the original castlevania games have always been Church Bad since the church completely ostracized the belmonts and only called them for help when they were really desperate (dracula moment) plus a lot of the religious themes in castlevania are just for the aesthetics. don't worry i still hate netflixvania but the og games were very critical of the church lol

I appreciate your netflixvania posts because I tried to give it a shot this weekend and I was struggling to get through season 2, didn’t even make it to the infamous alucard sex scene.
HI LOL i had the exact same experience as you, i actually enjoyed season 1 (i still have my issues with it though) but when i got to season 2 i was like WOWWWWWW this shit sucks. don't bother watching the rest it's not worth your time
