This was so good! I am DYING for more!
Just Pretend
Chapter One:Princess of Santo Padre
"Curiosity often leads to trouble"
-Alice in Wonderland (1951)
~~~~~
"¿Tienes algún plan hoy, niña?" (Do You have any plans today baby girl? ) My father asked as I helped him bring in my luggage to abuela's house and into the spare room.
I simply shook my head.
"No, other than going to lunch with Emily. You know she's going to have my head if I don't come meet her and Miguel's son" I replied, finishing off a tight dutch braid of my hair.
"¿Por qué? ¿El club me necesita?" (Why? Does the club need me?) I paused briefly.
He simply chuckled and came over to me, kissing the top of my head.
"tu dedicación a este club me hace pensar que eres miembro de este club" (Your dedication to this club makes me think you're apart of this club) he replied. I simply smiled and finished off the second braid.
"I'm going to head out, they need me in templo.. something about going to base town." He spoke, placing a kiss on my head and heading out the door.
I simply smiled and stood up, walking him to the door and making sure he put on his helmet when riding.
"You know, it's almost like you care about his safety more then me, Fleur" I heard from my best friend. I simply flipped him off.
"Angel, leave her alone. You and I both know she will gut you like a pig" my father spoke and I shook my head.
Its always these damn men.
As i finished getting ready for the day, my phone went off, noticing it was Emily I smiled and answered.
"If you're calling to ask me to babysit absolutely. I'll watch my god baby" I smiled, picking out the days outfit.
"I was actually calling to see if you wanted to have lunch. Miguel is busy doing some kind of work and I don't want to stay in the house with Dita.." Emily spoke, the irritation in her voice evident when she spoke of Dita.
"Emily.. I love you to death. But give me a break on the Dita thing. That's your mother in law..you have got to understand her side of things" I replied. I decided on a simple pair of leggings, a nice and flowy t shirt and a pair of converses. It was extremely hot today in Santo Padre, I wasn't going to try dying just because I wanted to look cute.
"Nicole.. I do understand her side. But she's just so... pushy. Its as if she wishes she was me instead of in her own position. " I could hear the frustration and decided just to bed it. I didn't want to deal with her anger.
"So, where for lunch?" I asked, grabbing my jacket and purse.
"Just here. If its okay, Nestor is picking you up on the way to Miguel."
I sighed. Nestor was Miguel's best friend, and he was merciless. A beautiful, but very troubled man. He was Miguel's right hand, and also his best friend.
As I went to go outside to my car Nestor was already there in the famous black escalade.
"Yeah, he's already here Em. I'll see you soon!" I smiled, hanging up.
I peered at Nestor, whom seemed to be as enthused with me as I was him.
"You gonna let me sit up front or am I still subjected to the back seat?" I asked. He stared me down, the dark orbs of his eyes peering back at me. He cracked a smile and shook his head.
"Always a pleasure, Fleur." He opened the passenger door and waited for me to get in.
" Don't call me that, Duendecillo" (gremlin) I climbed into my seat and put the seat belt on, not trusting his ability to drive. Nestor scoffed and rounded to the drivers side of the vehicle.
"You really ought to give him a chance, Nicole. Hes not that bad." I heard Miguel say from behind me.
"Jesucristo, Miguel. Tienes que dejar de hacerme esa mierda sabiendo muy bien que tengo un corazón débil." (Jesus christ, miguel. You have got to stop doing that shit to me knowing damn good and well I have a weak heart.)
Miguel laughed, shaking his head. Nestor got into the vehicle and put his sunglasses back on, pulling out of the driveway.
"And give him a chance for what? To teach me how to braid my own hair?" I turned in my seat to face my bestfriends husband. I started playing with the end of Nestor's braid, much to his disapproval. I smiled and yanked it a bit, just for him to turn his attention towards me and give me a look that would normally make me melt, but only added fuel to the fire.
"I can't wait to kill you" he simply spoke, and I sat back in my seat.
"First of all, you can't. Emily would have your head and bitch to Miguel which we both know won't go over well. Secondly, where the fuck are you driving? Did you braid your hair too tight because this isn't the way to the estate" I replied. It wasn't a lie.. we weren't even headed in the same direction as Emily and Miguel's home was.
Miguel coughed uncomfortably in his seat, and I looked at him through the mirror. His eyes screamed for me to just please give him a break from our bickering and I sighed, knodding.
Eventually we did stop at an abandoned building, and a group of motorcycles stood outside the entrance.
"Wait, Miguel. Why is my father and the MC here? What's going on?" I asked, turning in my seat.
"It's just a small detour for buisness. I asked the MC for a favor on something and they simply complied. I hope you don't mind.. I can have Nestor drive you to Emily and Cristobal shortly.." he continued but I shrugged.
"No, it's ok. I can visit my father for some more time. " I smiled quickly and got out of the vehicle, being met by my tio bishop.
"Niña, ¿qué haces aquí?" (Baby girl, what are you doing here?) He asked, giving me a quick hug. He was always so protective of me, especially since his son, my cousin, passed away a few years ago. I think he took to me as if I was his own daughter..which was fine. Between him, my father and tio Marcus I was the princess of the Mayans.
"Quick detour, I was on the way to visit Emily. They picked me up. " I replied, looking quickly at Nestor and Miguel.
My eyes set on Nestor, who was standing against the vehicle. His eyes seemed to be trailing me, and as they set on mine he quickly turned his attention away.
We walked in and there was a bigger man tied to a church pew, this must of been what my father was talking about when he said that they were going to Base Town. For some strange reason, Miguel put on a yellow rain coat and it made me giggle.
"Look at him! He looks like he's going to audition for the role of georgie in IT" I quietly spoke to Angel, causing him to giggle.
"Nikki, stop." He replied and I couldn't help myself, I kept going.
"What? Look at him! He about to start singing and shit about dancing in the rain!" I replied, laughing harder. The attention in the room turned to us and I shrugged.
"My apologies" I very quickly spoke, Nestor looking at me with an annoyed look on his face. I shook my head at him and flipped him off, adding what ever fuel to a fire i could.
Miguel turned back to the bound man, starting to question him.
"You ever meet her?" He asked, crossing his hands infront of him.
"Never in person. She'd give us a call or a text, gave us a drop point" the man replied.
"Where?"
"Indio Quarry. We used proxies to drop off the drugs, pick up the cash. Never saw a face..no names.."
Nestor grabbed a bag off of the table behind him, handing it and its contents to Miguel.
"Found this in your jeep. Payment?"
"She didn't tell us it was the cartel..I swear" the man replied.
"Bullshit, your men were told of the fact it was the Galindo Cartel when they robbed the MC. "I spat out, getting annoyed.
"Not now, Fluer. Please. " Miguel spoke to me, turning his attention back to the man.
"Was she.. American?" Miguel spoke.
"No.. spoke English, but she was latina i think. Young. She sounded young. " the man replied. He looked so scared, but I knew it was a guise. I walked to Nestor who was playing with various knives, and picked up a machete.
"Unless you plan on getting your shirt stained and having a meltdown, put it down." Nestor spoke, not bothering to even look at me.
"Nestor, I think you did your braids too tight. You're forgetting I don't have meltdowns over blood on me.. you forget so easily." I cupped his face, smiling.
I walked away from him with the weapon in hand, towards the man. As Miguel turned around I lifted the weapon, and swung it down on the man's arm. He cried out in pain, obviously. His blood splattered on my face, my clothes..
Some of the Mayans who weren't familar with me looked at me in terror, my father simply shook his head and Miguel sighed, shaking his head.
"Nicole... we have people for that. " he spoke, but I put my hand up.
"He basically took food out of Cristobal's tummy. It needed to be done. Besides.. pigtails over there shouldn't be the only one to have fun" i replied. I walked back over to Nestor smiling. The look in his eyes was something different and I just stared at him, using his button up to wipe the blood off my face quickly.
"Dont ever doubt me again, pigtails. " I said quietly to him and walked back outside.
This was going to be fun.
Caught In The Middle | Mayans MC ~ Breakfast
word count ; 6,370
Victoria released a groan filled with soreness and exhaustion as she pushed herself to sit up in her queen sized bed with only one good arm. The Miller woman glanced over to her alarm clock and noticed that it read in bright green numbers that it was only seven-fifteen in the morning.
Victoria furrowed her brows in slight confusion as to what woke her up. She had called into work to say she wasn't going to be coming in, so it puzzled her as to why she was awoken so early when she usually slept late during her days off. However, Victoria didn't have to question herself for much longer when she suddenly heard a loud banging coming from somewhere in the house.
The pediatric nurse immediately became worried about the noise coming from her single home - especially after her eventful night with the Galindo family - so Victoria quickly opened up her bedside table for her protection weapon before she quietly cursed. Victoria finally came to realize that she left her gun in the middle of the desert.
"Shit," the Miller woman whispered before her hazel eyes hurriedly scanned her bedroom for a weapon while she continued to hear loud noises coming from somewhere in her house. Victoria sighed in relief when she spotted a metal baseball bat leaning beside her closet door. Thank God for protective bikers, Victoria thought as she quietly tip toed over to the weapon.
Victoria carefully tightened her one good hand around the metal bat before she, as silently as she could, opened up her bedroom door and tip toed into the hallway. Once Victoria was out of her bedroom, she realized that the banging sound was coming from the kitchen area. Why the hell is someone in my kitchen? Victoria wondered in confusion.
The Miller woman knew it was pointless to question herself, though, so she ignored her puzzlement as she slowly and silently continued to travel through her house with her metal baseball bat settled high onto her shoulder incase there was someone dangerous in her house.
Victoria paused once she reached the entryway of her kitchen as her brows, once again, furrowed at what she was seeing. Inside of her small and homey kitchen was a familiar back covered in the signature Mayans kutte standing in front of her stove. "A-Angel?" The Miller woman cautiously called out as she slowly settled the heavy bat against her thigh before she inquired once he swiftly turned around to face her, "w-what are you doing here?"
The Reyes man flinched when he heard Victoria's voice before he swore, "shit," as he had planned on surprising the busy nurse with breakfast after her medical conference. "You aren't supposed to here ye-" Angel began as he turned around to face the brunette woman before he suddenly froze when he saw Victoria's injures.
Angel instantly forgot about the pancakes he was making as he carelessly dropped the plastic spatula down onto the ground before he hurriedly crossed the room and cradled Victoria's face gently in his large hands. "What the hell happened, mi princesa?" The Reyes man hurriedly interrogated as he tried to control the anger in his voice, "who did this to you? What happened in Stanford? Why didn't you call me or El Padrino?"
Angel felt like he was going out of his mind in worry as his brown irises glanced at the scratches and bruises that littered the brunette woman's face and arms before his gaze settled harshly onto the makeshift sling. The Mayan felt like his brain was working in overdrive as his mind went through all of the horrible possibilities of what could have happened to his girl and it was driving him mad with worry and a little bit a guilt that he hadn't been there for Victoria.
The Miller woman shot Angel the tiniest of smiles before she lied as she tried to continue to hide what really happened last night, "it was just an accident." Victoria knew it was pointless to continue her lie when she was talking with the very protective Angel but she still tried to anyway. She just didn't want to worry Angel too much or he would probably end up locking her up with no way of helping Emily bring back her son to them and she couldn't let that happen.
However, unluckily for Victoria, the Reyes man didn't believe her lie for even a second as he shot the brunette woman a warning glare. "Don't you dare lie, Victoria, not to me," Angel commanded before he took a deep breath to calm his rage for who could have injured his princesa. Once Angel felt a bit of his anger leave his body, the Mayans member asked once more as he stared deeply into Victoria's hazel irises, "who did this to you?"
The Miller woman released a heavy and slightly painful sigh as she knew that she couldn't lie to Angel anymore. It was stupid of her to even think she would be able to keep up her lie when Angel has always been very protective and perspective about her body language and responses over the years. Plus, Victoria figured it would best to just lay out all the cards as it pained her for even a day to lie to her best friend.
"We should take a seat," Victoria quietly muttered as she carefully moved out of Angel's grasp without hurting herself even more. The Miller woman silently placed the metal bat onto her wooden kitchen table before she slowly lowered her sore body into the closest chair that adored her small and round table that only fitted four people.
The Reyes man had anger, confusion, and worry radiating from his warm body as he quietly followed behind Victoria. The Mayans member took the seat right next to brunette woman, so he could feel her and protect her if he had to or it was just because he needed to feel her warmth after knowing she had to go through something so horrible by herself -- that was the guilty part inside of Angel.
The silence in the Miller kitchen continued for a solid three minutes before Angel couldn't take it any longer. "You're scaring me," the Reyes man mumbled when Victoria only continued to stare over at him. Angel felt like his body was going to explode any second now. He felt like he needed to teach someone a lesson but he also felt like he needed to hold Victoria from anymore dangers in their lives.
The Miller woman released another heavy sigh as she continued to gaze across at Angel before she finally spoke as she requested while she anxiously rubbed her thumb across the lines on the wooden kitchen table, "I'm about to tell you something and you might get pissed, but please, let me talk, okay?"
Angel furrowed his brows in confusion but he nodded his head, anyway, as he knew it was the only way the pediatric nurse was going to tell him what happened to her. The Reyes man silently reached across the table and gently grabbed ahold of Victoria's good hand before he began to rub his thumb against her palm as he softly murmured, "I'll listen."
Victoria, once again, let out another deep but shaky breath as she prepared herself for the anger that she knew was going to be coming from the protective Reyes. However, Victoria knew the issue wasn't going to disappear, so she decided to just rip the band-aide right off but slowly as she knew how Angel's temper could get.
"Alright," Victoria began, "so a week or two ago, I ran into Emily in town." The Miller woman silently nodded her head when she noticed Angel's thinking face before she stated, "yes, that Emily." Victoria reached over and gave the Reyes man's hand a tiny squeeze before she continued, "anyway, we got to talking and we made a plan to have dinner - which is where I was last night."
The Reyes man immediately furrowed his dark eyebrows together when he realize Victoria had lied to him about her whereabouts. However, before Angel could interrupt, the Miller woman gave Angel a pointed look to remind him of his promise before Victoria continued after Angel huffed in annoyance, "I went to dinner with Emily and Miguel. Everything went perfect until we were heading back to Santo Padre."
The pediatric nurse took a nervous and shaky breath as she connected her hazel irises with Angel's brown ones before she confessed the part that would anger the Mayan the most, "t-there was an accident. It was the rebels, Ange."
The Mayans member's brown eyes instantly widened as he knew exactly what Victoria was speaking about. "Fuck," Angel swore angrily as she ran his fingers through his dark hair. Angel was furious because Adelita told him last week that the rebels were going to hit the Galindo cartel where it would hurt but he would never imagine that Victoria would be caught in the middle of it as well.
Angel hurriedly stood up from the table before he cautiously but quickly pulled the Miller woman up from her chair. The Reyes man pulled Victoria tightly into his chest before he practically growled against her temple, "mi amor, are you fucking crazy?" Angel took a deep breath to contain his anger before he asked softer as he ran his large hand down her back, "what were you thinking dancing with the devil?"
The Miller woman used her one good arm to wrap around Angel's waist and gave his body a small squeeze before she softly assured the Mayan as she laid her right cheek onto his warm chest, "I'm fine, Ange." Victoria lifted her head after a moment to connect her hazel irises with Angel's brown ones before she assured him, "I'm good. I'm slowly healing now and besides, Nestor took me home, so I'm safe now."
Angel immediately pulled back when he heard the name of Galindo's assassin before he stared into Victoria's hazel eyes with his brown ones slightly widened. "That fucking psychopath?" The older Reyes asked before he shook his head as if he was scolding the pediatric nurse. "Mi amor, that guy is dangerous," Angel warned the Miller woman. "He's probably worst than Galindo himself," the Mayan exclaimed with a humorless chuckle.
Victoria lightly shrugged her good arm before she defended Nestor, "he's not so bad." The Miller woman knew Nestor got a bad rap from everyone in Santo Padre but he wasn't that bad that he would hurt her. Victoria hadn't known the Oceteva man that long but he was very kind and careful around her, so she didn't see any reason to really worry about Nestor.
"You know you can't trust anyone who isn't the Mayans," Angel reminded the Miller woman before he added as he thought about the assassin, "especially when it's someone who's working for Galindo." The older Reyes had met Nestor a hand full of times and he had never set well with Angel. He always felt like Nestor thought he was better than everyone else because he's best friends with Miguel and he was just too cocky for Angel's liking.
Victoria couldn't help but stay silent at the Mayan's words. She didn't usually trust people straight away from her life in Charming and with Motorcycle clubs in general but there was just something about Nestor that made Victoria want to trust him wholeheartedly. The Oceteva man haven't gave her any reason to not trust him, so Victoria couldn't agree with Angel like she usually did.
Victoria wasn't just going to judge Nestor because of his career choice or who he surrounded himself with. That would be hypocritical of her when she had surrounded herself with people who others would consider 'bad people' her entire life. She wasn't any better or different from Nestor, so she had no reason to not trust Nestor at the moment.
The Reyes man didn't really like how Victoria stayed silent to her not trusting someone in Galindo's circle but he didn't push it when he was more worried about her. "So, what exactly happened last night?" Angel questioned as he lightly ran his thumb across the palm of Victoria's good hand as if he needed to touch her to make sure she was okay.
Victoria released a heavy sigh as the memories of the last two days came into her mind before she took a seat back at her small, round kitchen table as she prepared herself for her story. "It all happened after dinner when we were on our way back to Santo Padre," Victoria began to tell Angel what happened once he joined her at the table, "we were driving down a dark road when this car ran the SUV off of the road. The car had flipped multiple times, I think."
Victoria lightly shook her head with her brows pulled together. "I think I passed out for a few seconds or minutes, I'm not sure," Victoria mumbled before she focused back onto the story. "Anyway, I don't really remember much about what happened but what I can recall is that one of them shot and killed the Galindo family's bodyguard when he told the Rebels to leave," Victoria recalled before she pointed towards the bruises on her face.
"That is from when I got into a fight with one of the males," Victoria explained before she added with a humorless chuckle, "I was trying to protect Cristobal and Emily and they didn't exactly like that I was fighting back." The Miller woman glanced down to her arm in the sling before she mumbled with a frown, "that's when they snapped my arm and escaped with the baby."
Victoria knew it wasn't her fault and that there was no way she could have stopped three rebels on her own but she still feel felt guilty that she wasn't able to keep her childhood best friend's child safe. The pediatric nurse just wished that she could have fought and tried harder to keep baby Cristobal away from the rebels.
Angel was absolutely livid after hearing everything that Victoria had to go through. Angel was pissed because he knew that this was going to happen but he hadn't done his job in keeping Victoria safe like he has always promised to her, to Happy, to Pops, and to Jax. The Mayan was even more pissed because Adelita swore no one would be hurt. But most of all, Angel was pissed at himself for putting Victoria in danger without even thinking about this possible outcome.
The Miller woman honestly thought Angel was pissed because a child had been hurt but other than that, she didn't understand why his face was turning so red with anger or why he was pacing her kitchen while he cursed up a storm. It wasn't like she was hurt that bad, so it couldn't be that.
"Are you okay?" Victoria cautiously asked before she quickly added as if to assure the Mayan, "I'm sure Galindo will have all his people out looking for their son." Well, at least, that was what Victoria was hoping. Victoria really hoped that Miguel will be able to find the baby as quickly as possible with the help of all the people he knows. No child should be put in the middle of all of this.
The Reyes man had his back towards Victoria as she spoke and he was glad that he did, so she didn't see the mixed emotions he had when Angel ultimately decided that he would lie to her. Angel didn't want the Miller woman to be even more involved than she already was with the Galindo family after what happened with the rebels and he wanted to keep Victoria as safe as possible, so Angel figured his best option was to lie.
So with his plan in mind, the Reyes man took a silent deep breath to get control of his anger before he slowly turned to face the worried Miller woman with a calm and unbothered facial expression. "I'm good," Angel muttered as he took at seat back at the kitchen before he gently grabbed ahold of Victoria's good hand and gave it a light squeeze. "I was just thinking that Bishop will want to hear about this and help find the kid," Angel lied right out of his ass when he already knew who had the Galindo child.
"That's good," Victoria muttered after she released a small sigh of relief. "They need all the help that they can get," the Miller woman commented. Victoria furrowed her brows as she added, "I don't know much about the whole cartel business but I know it's gonna be hard to get Cristobal back from the rebels."
Victoria only knew things about the rebels from what she had seen from the news but she was still incredibly worried for the small child. The Miller woman had seen first hand how much it screws up a small child from being caught in the middle of something like this.
Victoria could remember like it was just yesterday about how much Abel had struggled when they finally brought him home from the IRA. The Teller boy was very quiet and cried for months after the fact before he was himself again. Luckily, Cristobal is younger than Abel, so hopefully he won't suffer as much.
The Reyes man leaned over the table and placed a soft kiss onto Victoria's temple. "Don't worry too much, mi princesa," Angel told the Miller woman before he assured her, "Galindo has an army behind. I'm sure the kid will be back home before you know it." The Mayan firstly wanted to calm Victoria's worrying but he also wanted to try to get her mind off of it because he know how much Victoria liked to help the people she cares about - Emily - and he definitely didn't need the pediatric nurse to get involved into this.
Angel stood up from the kitchen chair as he focused on distracting the Miller woman from everything that was going on before he muttered as he decided to focus back onto the food that he had been preparing, "let's see if I can save breakfast."
Victoria lightly chuckled as she could definitely smell the burnt pancakes on the stove. The Miller woman slowly stood up from her seat as well before she suggested, "why don't we just go down to the diner for some breakfast that we know will taste good?" Victoria didn't exactly trust Angel in her kitchen and she was too tired to babysit him right now like she usually did when he wants to cook.
The Mayan instantly turned towards Victoria as if she had just offended him. "I know how to cook!" Angel loudly exclaimed before he quietly mumbled as he turned around and looked down to the burnt pan of pancakes, "you just took me by surprise, that's all."
"Well, my bad," the Miller woman giggled as she leaned the right side of her body against the counter while she stared up at Angel in amusement. "I'll make sure to not to get hurt again for the sake of your breakfast skills," Victoria sarcastically joked since they would usually cook together.
Angel turned his head and looked over to the pediatric nurse with a deep frown embedded on his face. "Don't joke about that," the Reyes man ordered as he still felt so much guilt over Victoria's injuries. "It's not funny," Angel quietly mumbled as he cautiously grasped Victoria's bruised face between his large and rough hands.
"I'm sorry," the Miller woman sincerely apologized as she could see how serious the biker was taking her injuries before she leaned up and pulled Angel into a gentle kiss. "You know I use humor to deal with things," Victoria mentioned with a small pout.
Angel couldn't help but release a small chuckle as he nodded his head. "Yeah, I know," the Mayan murmured before he placed another kiss onto Victoria's soft lips. "Now, go sit down," Angel ordered after he took a step back from the pediatric nurse before he told her, "I'll fix us something to eat."
Victoria took another glance down to her burnt pan on the stove before she inquired in worry for the sake of her kitchen, "are you sure you don't need any help?" Victoria absolutely adored Angel to death but she did not trust him to not burn down her house.
"I know it looks bad," Angel muttered as he tossed the ruined pan into the sink to clean later before he promised, "but we still have eggs and bacon, so it's not totally ruined." The Mayan wanted Victoria to have a semi-good practice, so he begin to move around the nurse's kitchen like a top chef as he quickly grabbed a new pan from the cabinet underneath the stove and placed it onto the burner before he swiftly jogged to the refrigerator and grabbed the pack of bacon and the carton of eggs.
"Do you need a hand?" The Miller woman inquired after watching Angel run around her kitchen with amusement all throughout her hazel eyes. Victoria found it cute how serious Angel was taking breakfast when they could just go a few miles away for a hot meal at their regular diner spot.
"I told you, I got this, mi princesa," Angel confidently exclaimed before he focused his brown eyes on placing the maple smoked bacon into the heated pan. "You just go sit at the table and look pretty," the Reyes man ordered as he shot Victoria a teasing grin before he quickly focused back onto not burning the bacon.
The Miller woman pouted when Angel completely denied her help at cooking before she voiced her annoyance as she mumbled, "but I wanted to help out."
Angel playfully rolled his brown eyes before he fully turned around and faced the pediatric nurse. "If you really wanna help," the Reyes man began as he wrapped his thick arms around Victoria's waist before he swiftly placed her on top of the kitchen counter and added, "you can make sure I don't fuck up."
"I guess that will do," Victoria mumbled in false disappointment. The Miller woman knew there was no way Angel was going to let her help when she was injured, anyway, so Victoria figured this was her best bet.
The kitchen in the Miller house was silent in a calm tranquility as Victoria just watched Angel cook them breakfast for a few minutes before the pediatric nurse curiously wondered after Angel had plated the pieces of bacon, "so, what's been going on with the club? Is Creeper doing okay?" Victoria hadn't heard anything about how the Mayan was healing since she fixed him up after a bad run and when she had first met Miguel and Nestor.
"Ah, ah, ah," the Reyes man exclaimed as he waved the metal spatula at the pediatric nurse. "No club talk," Angel reminded the Miller woman, "you know the rules for breakfast."
Victoria rolled her hazel eyes as their rules came into her mind. It was their rule that they made years ago that whenever they breakfast on Saturday mornings that there would be no talk of club business - it wasn't like Angel told her much, anyway. "Alright, fine," the Miller woman muttered as she held up her one good arm in innocence before she inquired since she knew Angel wasn't going to answer her previous question, "so, what's your plan for the day?"
"This," Angel simply stated like it was obvious while he began to crack a few eggs into the sizzling pan that was greased with the maple bacon fat.
"Huh?" Victoria instantly inquired with confusion dripping all throughout her voice. "Don't you have things to do with the club?" The Miller woman continued to question before she commented, "I'm sure you boys are going to busy with Miguel today." The pediatric nurse knew that the Mayans did have boring and slow days but she figured today would be extremely busy with the Galindo baby missing.
"I'm taking a sick day," Angel simply murmured as he turned down the stove before he turned around and walked in between Victoria's legs. Angel carefully wrapped his arms around the Miller woman's waist before he began to place light and playful kisses along her neck.
Victoria playfully rolled her hazel eyes at the Mayan as she wrapped her one good arm around his waist before she sarcastically muttered, "oh, I'm sure Bishop will love that you skip club business for me." The Miller woman knew just how serious the president of the Mayans was when it came to his members and Victoria definitely didn't want to be the reason why Angel got into trouble with his president
."Bishop will understand why I have to skip today," the Reyes man assured the brunette woman as he placed a gentle kiss onto her temple before he went back to focusing on their scrambled eggs. Angel gave the eggs one last stir and salted them before he transferred the eggs onto the two plates and carried them to the kitchen table.
"Are you sure Bishop won't mind?" Victoria worriedly inquired as she watched the Mayan move around her kitchen. The pediatric nurse didn't want Angel to get in trouble because of her. Besides, her injuries weren't even that bad. It wasn't like Victoria couldn't move or do anything by herself.
However, Angel thought differently as he went back over to the Miller woman and lifted Victoria up from the kitchen counter before he carefully carried her to the wooden table. "Stop worrying," the Mayan ordered after placing Victoria into her chair and after placing a quick kiss onto her lips. "Bishop is probably going to be showing the prospect the ropes and dealing with Galindo all day, anyway, so unless he calls, it'll be a slow day for me," Angel assured the Miller woman.
Victoria stared the the Reyes man's brown eyes for a moment to make sure he was telling the truth and when she couldn't find any of Angel's tale signs of him lying like his twitchy eyes or his high voice, Victoria released a small sigh before she murmured as she relaxed a bit from her worrying, "okay."
The Mayan widely grinned at the pediatric nurse before he clapped his hands together. "Alright!" Angel exclaimed before he cockily ordered as he nodded his point finger towards Victoria's plate of breakfast, "now try my food and tell me how good my cooking is."
Victoria playfully rolled her hazel eyes at Angel's cockiness but did what he wanted, anyway, as the Miller woman grabbed her fork and scooped up some scrambled eggs before she pushed them into her mouth. The pediatric nurse chewed on them for a few seconds to tease and make Angel wait before she finally swallowed the eggs.
"Well?" The Reyes man impatiently questioned with a hint of excitement dripping from his voice as he stared across at Victoria, "did I do good or did I do fucking great?"
The Miller woman released a small chuckle before she lightly nodded her head. "They aren't too bad," Victoria murmured with a careless shrug of her good shoulder.
"Oh, come on!" Angel loudly exclaimed after he released an equally loud groan. "You know those are the best eggs you have ever had!" The Reyes man argued as he pointed his finger down towards his own scrambled eggs.
"You know Nookie's Diner has the best eggs," the Miller woman reminded Angel as she playfully pointed her fork at the Mayan.
Angel released a small chuckle before he nodded his head in agreement. "Alright, you got me there," the Reyes man muttered before he cockily exclaimed, once again, "but you know I have the second best eggs!"
Victoria knew what the Mayan biker wanted to hear but she knew she had to lie a little bit. Angel's eggs were definitely tasty but they didn't hold a torch to the late Gemma's. The Miller woman's second surrogate mom could make the best breakfasts in this world. It used to be one of Victoria's favorite things about going to Charming.
However, Victoria decided to let Angel have this moment, so she lied a tiny bit. "Alright, you have the second best," the Miller woman murmured with a heavy sigh like it hurt her to say that before she shot Angel a playful grin.
"You bet your ass I do!" The Reyes man cockily exclaimed before he leaned over and placed a kiss onto Victoria's lips with his wide grin still playing across his face.
Victoria playfully rolled her hazel eyes at the Mayan once he had pulled away from their kiss before they focused back onto eating their breakfast in a comfortable silence. It wasn't tense or awkward. It felt perfect. It made Victoria feel calm after everything that she had been through in the past forty-eight hours. The comfortable silence made Victoria feel at home, like she always did when she was with Angel.
The nurse and the Mayan ate their breakfast for a good fifteen minutes or so before Victoria placed down her fork with a sigh. "That was really good," the Miller woman complimented the biker as she leaned over the table and placed a kiss onto Angel's cheek as another praise before Victoria stood up from the table with her plate and carried it to the sink.
Victoria turned on the water and was about to begin to clean up her plate along the mess that was made in her kitchen but Angel instantly recognized what she was tryin to do, so the Mayan quickly jumped up from the table before Angel wrapped his arms around Victoria's waist and gently pulled her away from the sink.
"Ah, ah, ah," Angel tsked before he told the injured woman, "you aren't doing any of that."
The Miller woman released a loud whine once she realized Angel really wasn't going to let her anything in her house. "I have to do something," Victoria complained, "I don't have work today and I will go crazy if I just sit around all day."
"Well, that's exactly what you are going to be doing," the Reyes man told Victoria as he pulled her further away from the sink and her need to clean up. "You need to rest and make sure you're healing," Angel murmured as he began to walk the Miller woman out of the kitchen and towards her bedroom.
"But I need to clean!" Victoria argued as she looked back towards her messy kitchen with a frown.
"It'll still be there later and I'll even clean it up," the Reyes man quickly assured Victoria. "But I don't care about that right now," Angel stated and argued with zero room for argument as he led Victoria inside of her bedroom, "I only care about getting you back to one hundred percent after what happened."
The Mayan gently placed Victoria on the edge of her queen sized bed before he worriedly inquired as he looked over the Miller woman's injures, "now, is there anything you need? Do you want to take a bath? Do you want to take off the sling or does your arm feel more comfortable with it on?"
The Miller woman lightly rolled her hazel eyes at Angel's worrying and cautiousness but she really did appreciate it. Victoria always did love how protective the Reyes men in her life has always been with her ever since she was little. It made her feel safe no matter the situation.
"I'm fine, Ange," the Miller woman promised with a small chuckle as she slowly pushed her body up to lean against the headboard of her bed. "I would love to go clean up your mess but I don't think you'll allow that," Victoria muttered as she playfully glared over at the Mayan.
"Nope," the Reyes man exclaimed as he took off his Mayan kutte and laid it onto Victoria's dresser before he joined her in bed. "It's not your job to clean that shit up. You said it yourself, it's my mess, so I'll do it," Angel told the Miller woman as he carefully wrapped Victoria into his arms and laid the pediatric nurse onto his chest. "You just need to relax for once," Angel murmured before he placed a light kiss onto the edge of the Miller woman's brunette hair.
Victoria couldn't help but release a small sigh as she linked her fingers with Angel's larger ones. Victoria honestly hadn't known how much she needed this right now until she was in the moment. The Miller woman had been running off of fumes from worrying about Emily and Cristobal along with facing off against the Rebels that Victoria hadn't had time to just relax and calm down. She had felt on edge the whole that but with Angel holding her, Victoria finally felt at home.
"Thank you," the Miller woman softly whispered as she brought Angel's hand to her lips and placed a light kiss onto his warm and rough skin to show her appreciation to him right now.
"You don't have to thank me for anything," Angel muttered as he still felt a large amount of guilt over the fact that he knew what was going to happen that night. Even though the Reyes man didn't now Victoria was going to there, he still felt so much guilt because he was hiding this from Victoria but Angel promised himself that he wouldn't involve Victoria even more than he already has in club business. Angel had made that promise to Happy awhile ago and he didn't plan to break that promise or something horrible might happen to Victoria like what happened to Tara and Gemma.
"I know I don't," Victoria murmured as she looked up at the Reyes man with a small smile. "Just... Thank you for being here for me," the brunette woman murmured before she leaned up on her good arm and kissed Angel's lips.
The Mayan instantly kissed Victoria back for a few seconds before he slowly pulled away. "I promise I'll protect you better if something happens like this again," Angel swore as he stared directly into Victoria's soft hazel eyes as he ran his thumb across her cheek, "if it comes down to it, I will never leave your side again."
The Miller woman playfully rolled her hazel eyes from the end of Angel's promise as she knew that could never happen in their life. "You can't do that, Ange," the pediatric nurse reminded the Reyes man before Victoria gave Angel an example why that would never work, "you have club business to handle almost everyday."
"I don't care," the Mayan stubbornly exclaimed. "I'll have the prospect come and watch over you when I can't," Angel stated before he paused for a moment and quickly added a second later as he thought of a better plan, "hell, we'll just have club meetings here."
Victoria, once again, rolled her hazel eyes at Angel's antics before she lightly slapped his chest. "Oh, calm down," the Miller woman exclaimed before she told Angel, "you don't have to go to such extreme measures. It was just a small car crash."
The Reyes man instantly grew serious as he sat up in Victoria's bed at how easy going the Miller woman was being about this. Angel cradled Victoria's face in his hands as he slowly exclaimed to get point across, "this is the most important thing in the world to me. I don't care if you accidentally trip and fall, I will always worry about you and I will always take care of you."
Angel stared deeply into the Miller woman's hazel eyes for a moment before he lightly swiped his thumb across her lip with a small grin as he slowly released the seriousness from his body. "You already know you can't get rid of me, babe," the Reyes man exclaimed with a playful glint in his brown irises, "you're stuck with me forever."
Victoria released a light chuckle before she let her body relax back onto the Reyes man's chest. "Oh, I know," the Miller woman exclaimed before she joked with her cheek pressed against Angel's beating heart, "besides, I'm not going anywhere when I have my own personal teddy bear."
"Damn straight," the Reyes man proudly exclaimed as he relaxed his body back onto the Miller woman's bed and began to lightly run his fingers through Victoria's brunette hair. "I will always have your back," Angel whispered as he grew serious, once more, "I'll protect you from this life as much as I can, mi princesa."
Angel gently squeezed the Miller woman's waist as if to prove to Victoria that he was there for her before the Reyes man softly murmured, "you just rest now. I'll make sure no bad guys come in and hurt you."
The Miller woman was quiet for about a minute or so as she took in Angel words before she mumbled with a chuckle as she thought Angel was taking protecting her a little too serious, "uh, Ange, I'm pretty sure the rebels don't even know where I live."
"Shhh," the Mayan instantly muttered before he placed a kiss onto the edge of Victoria's brunette hair. "Let me have my moment," Angel whispered.
This instantly caused for Angel and Victoria to lightly chuckle together as they released the seriousness in the Miller woman's bedroom before they were overcome by a comfortable silence as they laid in one other's arms. However, while Victoria felt relaxed and calmed for the first time in the last two days, Angel was filled with worry.
The Reyes man didn't want Victoria to get wrapped into this mess. It was bad enough that Victoria had already been around Miguel Galindo and his lapdog - he didn't need Victoria getting caught in the middle of the rebels as well. Angel just hoped and prayed that he would be able to keep Victoria safe from everything that was about to rain down on Santo Padre.
Mi Alma - Part Three
A few years ago, Miguel, Lina, Nestor, and you were laughing together in a restaurant in Florence, Italy. Back then, you thought you would have many other happy moments with them. But then everything changed - was it for the worse, or for the best?
Love, Murder, Friendship, and Trust.
Mi Alma, a story with Miguel Galindo, Nestor Oceteva, Lina Brayer (OC) and Aurélie „Elie“ Gaillard (OC)
Part One | Part Two | Part Three | Part Four | Part Five
Warning: Smut, someone being drunk and someone crying
Words: 1564
London, UK – Present
After a hectic week at work, you decide not to go to the traditional Friday drinks with your colleagues to go home early, ready to order a takeaway and watch Netflix for the rest of the weekend.
As soon as you unlock your front door, you can hear some sounds coming from your kitchen and the smell of food. First, a bit scared about the fact that someone enters your apartment, you then reassure yourself by thinking that a bulgar will not cook you diner.
Heading toward the sounds of pans, you find Nestor standing in the middle of your kitchen.
"How did you get in? "you ask him once he notices that you are here.
He simply replies, "Special skills, "with a smile on his face.
You could say nothing else about that, so after shaking your head a bit, you decide to change the subject and ask him about the food he is preparing. It smells delicious, and you can't wait to eat whatever dish he is making for you.
You sit on one of your kitchen stools and observe him cooking when you notice a bag in the hallway. You interrogate him about it, and he tells you that this is because he came here directly from the airport without checking in the hotel first.
"You don't have to go to the hotel. You could stay," you offer him. At the moment he accepts your offer, you start to feel a lot warmer.
After finishing the meal and congratulate him at least a thousand on his cooking skills, you offer him to watch a movie.
"You know you can wear something a bit more comfortable here?" you say, pointing at his clothes.
"You right ... Do you mind if I go take a quick shower?"
"Not at all! Take your time."
You are now sitting on your sofa when you see him: he is wearing sweatpants and a white T-Shirt. It's not the first time you see him like that; however, it's the first time you see his hair undone and still wet.
You can't stop staring at him, and you should make a funny face because he starts to laugh.
Nestor comes to sit next to you on the sofa, and you play the movie you picked earlier. You are midway into the movie when you see that he starts do his hairs.
"Can I do it?" you ask him while pointing at his hair. There was something about them; they were basically asking you to touch them.
He sits on the floor in front of you, and you try your very best. When you are done, you go on your knees in front of him, take his head in your hands, and start checking your work.
"I'm not as good as you ..." you say, a bit ashamed of your work.
"I'm sure they are perfect," he replies with a soft voice while grabbing your wrists.
He leans toward you and kisses you: this is the best of your life, and you want more. You want him.
He should feel the same because he pulls you on him and you are now straggling him. When he pulls apart, he lightly places back some hair behind your ear and asks you: "Are you sure?"
"Yes."
His hands are now running down your back until they reach your waist, and you immediately start moving against him. Your fingers begin to explore his body, and you could feel his toned muscles underneath his shirt. Meanwhile, Nestor grabs the aim of your T-Shirt and lift it above your head. He then unclips your bra and starts to kiss your neck down to your nipple.
The feeling makes you moan, and your hips start to dance faster on him. You could feel him getting hard underneath you, and you pull at his T-Shirt. You want to feel him; you want his skin against yours.
As soon as he removes it, you run your hands flat against his tattoos covered skin until you reach the waistband of his sweatpants. You scratch him lightly with your nails, which makes him groans.
While you keep kissing, he places both hands on your ass, squeezes it before standing up. You could feel his muscles work underneath your hands, and it makes you wetter than you were already. Wrapping your leg around his waist, he carries you to your bedroom.
Instead of sitting, he makes you lie down on your back. You can feel his hands starting to run from your chest to the waistband of your legging before he slides it down your legs. He smirks when he sees your black lace panties. Nestor kisses your lower body while running his finger between your legs. Your back harch at the feeling.
He keeps kissing down until he reaches the inside of your thigh and makes your panties follow the same journey as your legging. His kisses are getting closer, and soon you can feel his breath on your most intimate part, following by his tongue. God, it feels so good, but you need more. Tugging at one of his plates, you whisper in a moan: "I want you Nes ..."
He lifts himself from the bed, removes his sweatpants and his boxer. Lying down on top of you, he starts to rub himself against you. The feeling catches your breath, but it's nothing compared to what you feel when he finally goes inside of you.
"Aurelie ..." he whispers in your ear while you are bitting his shoulder and digging your nails in his back.
He starts to move nice and slow, making sure that you could really feel all of him. And you do. Every. Single. Centimeter. You begin to moan louder, and he can feel you squeeze him. He grabs your hands and pins them on top of you with one hand while the other goes under your knee and push it toward you. This new position makes him go deeper into you. That's all you needed; you come like never before underneath him while screaming his name. He follows you a few seconds after, burying his face in your neck before biting it.
When he finally looks at you, you both start to laugh: years of small touches, lingering looks, and sexual tension have both makes you come in a matter of minutes.
----
In the morning, you wake up before him, still in his arms. Softly rolling out of bed to get some coffee, he is still asleep when you come back to lie down next to him. You were looking at him with a smile on your face.
"Like what you are seeing?" he asks you with his sleepy voice.
"You look peaceful."
"Always when I'm with you, Mi Alma."
"What does it means?"
He opens his eyes and looks at you.
"Mi Alma," you clarify.
"My Soul," he says while pulling you closer to him and softly robing your back. He looks at you, searching for any sign of regret in your eyes. He can't see any, but he wants to be sure. "Are you ok with that?"
You lean to kiss his lips, his cheek, his neck and down his chest. When you reach his lower stomach, you whisper, "Yes "before licking the tip of his dick.
London, UK – Present
The following Wednesday, you were already sleeping when you heard some banging at your front door. Putting on a dressing gown, you check through the optical peephole and see Miguel on the other side. As soon as you open the door, you know that something is wrong: he removed his tie, his hairs are messy, and he smells alcohol.
He was staring at the floor without moving, so you grab his hand, pull him inside your apartment, and help him to sit on your sofa. He looks defeated, and it broke your heart to see him like that.
You know he will not tell you anything, so you did the only thing you were thinking about: you hold him and run your hands in his hair to soothe him a little. At some point, you realize that he felt asleep in your arms. Not wanted to wake him up, you snuggle a bit more on your sofa, grab a blanket you always keep nearby and wrap the both of you into it for the night.
----
You are preparing a quick breakfast while Miguel is taking a shower when you hear your front door open. Nestor stops as soon as he sees you. You walk toward him and rise on your tiptoes to kiss him when he steps back.
"Is Miguel still here?" he asks you coldly without even looking at you.
Before you had the time to say or do anything, Miguel appears behind you. He looks a lot better than yesterday evening.
The two men are now heading to leave our apartment. Before, Miguel put his hand in the small of your back, kiss your forehead, and whisper in your ear: "Thank you."
You tried to grab Nestor's hand, but he avoids you again and follows Miguel. Feeling some tears forming in your eyes, you go to your bedroom and slide under the blankets. You really can't explain Nestor's behavior. Everything was fine between the both of you. Or at least it's what you thought before today.
Luciana sighed out as she leaned against the kitchen island and stared at Nestor. He was sitting at the kitchen table, drinking his coffee and reading some texts he had received from Miguel and Marcus. He looked up at Luci from across the room and smiled.
"Why don't you come join me, mi amor?" Nestor asked softly as she moved from where she was towards the kitchen table. Nestor patted his lap some as Luciana gently said down in his lap.
"Can't you just call Miguel and say you're sick? I have a few packages coming today." Luciana asked and smirked some. Nestor gave her a look as he placed a small kiss on her cheek.
"We have an important meeting today with the Mayans and Adelita. If I wasn't doing that today then I would." Nestor said as he began placing small kisses against Luciana's neck. She hummed softly and closed her eyes.
"I can't promise that I won't already have my packages open and used once you get home." Luciana explained. She was hinting at what she bought but still kept it a surprise for Nestor.
"If you use anything before I come home, mi amor, you're going to be in trouble." Nestor said as he placed a small kiss on Luciana's cheek before going to stand.
"Have fun at work, Nestor. I love you. Stay safe." Luciana placed her hands gently on his chest and a small peck on his lips. Nestor smiled softly as he placed another kiss on her lips, deepening it a bit.
"I'll be home for dinner tonight. I'll call if I'm not." Nestor said as he took his coffee cup to the kitchen sink. Luci hummed softly to herself as she waved at Nestor before he heading to the garage to get into the SVU.
Once Nestor had left, Luciana checked the tracking number on her packages. It still hasn't updated and she just wanted everything to be here. A sigh escaped her lips as she turned and began to clean up the dishes Nestor had used for breakfast.
Luciana had wanted to bring a few toys into the bedroom but she never wanted Nestor to feel discouraged. He was amazing in bed, but a girl needed something different. So she decided some new lingerie would be nice and a Hitachi Magic Wand. She had read some amazing reviews on the vibrator and decided she would try it.
Luciana did the daily housework while also texting her brothers and talking to her father on the phone. Ez had decided to FaceTime Luciana since him and Angel were on a run and they wanted to check in on their big sister. As Luciana laughed at some stupid joke Angel had told her, the doorbell rang.
"Ooh! My packages are here! I'll talk to you two later. Oh! And we're a surprising pop with dinner Friday! Ez will keep him distracted long enough for Angel and I break into his house and try not to burn it down." Luciana explained to her brothers. They both laughed and said their goodbyes as she threw her phone to the side.
Luciana quickly got up to grab the three boxes from the porch and carried them into the house. She ran as fast as she could into the bedroom to open the boxes and smiled at the box of the hitachi wand. She was excited to use it and just didn't want to wait until Nestor got home.
Luciana got the toy out of the box and quickly plugged it in to charge it up as she opened the other boxes. All the lingerie she had bought were in the other two boxes and she forgot exactly how much she had bought. Thank God Nestor never looked at her bank account since she had spent way too much money on her latest internet shopping spree.
Stripping out of her pajamas she wore all morning, Luciana slipped on her crotchless lacy one piece and quickly adjusted the straps. This was the first piece of crotchless panties or lingerie she owned and she was kind of scared. What if Nestor didn't like it? Luciana let out a sigh and pushed those feelings out of the way. He was going to love everything she bought.
Luciana put on some shorts before going through the house and doing some daily chores. After cooking herself lunch and doing the laundry, Luciana looked at the time and huffed. Nestor wouldn't be home for another two hours and thought it wouldn't hurt to use her new toy. So, Luci made her way to the bedroom and took her shorts off. Unplugging the wand from the charging cable, Luci settled on the bed. She was glad she bought a cordless toy since the outlet on the wall was pretty far from the bed.
Playing with the two speeds on the toy, Luciana was worried at first. They both were pretty intense and fast speeds but she read that you'd have the best orgasms with it. Luci let out a sigh as she calmed down and she turned the toy on. She stared at it for a moment before moving it down between her legs.
The vibrations were intense. More intense than she's ever felt before. But it felt good, it felt amazing. A loud moan escaped her lips as her hips thrusted up into the toy before settling back onto the bed. Her eyes were closed as she just focused on the pleasure she was feeling. It was something she had never felt before.
Luciana didn't hear the front door open and when Nestor walked into the house, he heard the moans of his girlfriend. Nestor stopped and stood there, listening. Slowly he made his way to the bedroom and the faint buzzing of the toy became louder and louder along with the moans. Nestor opened the bedroom door and smirked when he saw his girlfriend in the beautiful lingerie, legs spread with the toy pressed hard against her clit.
Nestor just watched Luciana as her hips lifted off the bed as she let out a loud moan. Luciana's orgasm hit her hard and it was the best feeling in the world. As much as Luciana loved whenever Nestor could get her to that point, boy did the vibrator make her see stars. Luciana pulled the toy away from her and turned the toy off and just laid there.
A small chuckle left Nestor's lips as Luciana's head shot to the side. Luciana let out a sigh as she grabbed the blanket and pulled it over her body.
"Jesus Christ, Nestor. You can't just sneak up on me!" Luciana shouted out as she sat up. Nestor smirked and licked his lips some at the sight he saw.
"I was going to surprise you. Mikey let me go early." Nestor said as he sat on the edge of the bed. He pulled the blanket away from his girlfriend's body and looked over the new lacy lingerie. His eyes roamed over her body and paused when he looked down towards her legs.
Luciana smirked as she laid back and spread her legs. An auditable groan escaped Nestor's lips as he moved to stand at the edge of the bed in front of Luciana. He was staring at her as he grabbed a hold of her ankles and pulled her closer to the edge of the bed.
"I told you if you used your toy before I got home, you'd be in trouble..." Nestor said as Luciana looked up at him. She had a look on her face, like one a kid has when they were caught doing something bad.
"I'm sorry..." Luciana said and bit her lip. Nestor ran a finger through her folds before shoving it inside her. Luci closed her legs and groaned as she tried to scoot away from him. She was overstimulated and she wasn't quite ready for round two.
"Open your legs, mi amor. I want to see." Nestor said as he forced her legs open with his free hand. Nestor shoved another finger into Luciana's heat as she lifted her hips off the bed and moaned out.
"S-stop! It's too muuuuch." Luciana looked back at Nestor and tried her best to squirm away from him. With a raised brow, Nestor removed his fingers from her and took a step back. Luciana raised her head off the bed to look at her boyfriend. He slowly began unbuttoning his top before his hands drifted down to his belt to undo it. As he pulled the leather from the loops, he undid the button on his dress pants and quickly took his button up off.
Luciana just watched as Nestor undressed himself and stood there in front of her in just his boxer-briefs. His erection was strained against the thin fabric and Luciana licked her lips thinking about his cock. She couldn't wait to feel him inside her. Nestor just stood there, slowly removing his boxer-briefs. Once they were off and in the pile of clothes now on the floor, Nestor pulled Luciana closer to him, so she was on the very edge of the bed.
"Please, stop teasing me, Nestor." Luci groaned as she bucked her hips towards his erect member. She wanted him, needed him. She was praying she wasn't going to have to beg.
"I told you to wait until I got home, Luciana. You couldn't follow the simple rule..." Nestor said as he slowly ran his tip through her folds. A whimper escaped her lips as she batted her eyes at Nestor.
"I tried to wait, Nestor, I really did... but it was calling my name." Luciana explained as she trusted her hips against his as she felt the tip of his cock slide into her. Letting out a small moan, Luci closed her eyes but then whined once she felt him pull out.
"You didn't try hard enough... and you think you deserve me? My cock?" Nestor asked as he continued to very slowly slide the tip through her folds. Luciana went to open her mouth to speak before Nestor pushed himself into her, filling her up.
Luci's mouth hung open as she threw her head back. It was pure ecstasy feeling him fill her up completely. But he didn't move, no. Nestor just stayed there for what felt like an eternity until he very slowly began pulling his hips away. It was agonizingly slow and Luciana didn't like that. She just wanted him to fuck her senseless.
But Nestor had another idea.
He pulled all the way out before very, very slow pushing back in. Luciana hates this, it felt like she was being tortured. Listening to his girlfriend groan out and beg softly for more, Nestor leaned down and brushed his lips over hers.
"You've been a bad girl, Luci, and now you're gonna pay..." Nestor mumbled against her lips as his hand reached out for the vibrator. The toy that had been long forgotten was turned on as Nestor looked it over. Luciana's eyes widened at the sight of the toy as Nestor ran it slowly over her breasts.
Luciana closed her eyes as she felt the vibrations against her nipples and tried to jerk away. It was too intense for those sensitive buds of nerves so Nestor pulled it away and placed it hard against her clit. The moment she felt the intense vibrations against her, she tried to move away but Nestor grabbed her tightly. He basically pinned her down as he smirked before he began thrusting roughly into her.
This was now a completely different pace than what Nestor was just going and Luciana couldn't handle it. His hard thrusts from him plus the intense vibrations from the toy had her eyes rolling back. It was pure ecstasy.
Nestor watched her face change and smirked as he turned the speed up on the toy and pressed it harder against her sensitive bud. Luci bucked her hips up into the toy and Nestor's hips. His thrusts never faltered.
Luciana couldn’t form any words as she felt her orgasm wash over here. There was no warning since the stimulation from the toy and Nestor was too much for her. Feeling her clench around him, Nestor let out a groan as he threw the toy to the side and quickened his pace.
Nestor let out a long and loud groan as he felt his orgasm nearing. He quickly pulled out as he released his seed all over her lace covered stomach from the lingerie. Luciana looked up at Nestor, chest rising and falling quickly as she glanced down at her stomach. She slowly ran a finger through the cum to collect some before bringing it to her mouth and licking it up. Nestor let out a small groan before walking to the bathroom.
He came back with a wet rag and quickly began cleaning Luci up. She smiled up at Nestor as he cleaned her off before he threw the rag towards the bathroom and curled up into the bed with his girlfriend. Luci placed a very loving kiss against Nestor’s lips as she relaxed against him.
“I love you, mi amor.” Nestor mumbled softly as Luciana placed her head against Nestor’s chest.
“I love you, too.” Luciana smiled up at him. Nestor turned to look at the toy that was beside him in the bed and began chuckling. “What?” Luciana questioned him with a raised brow.
“Nothing. It’s just... I just hope I don’t have any competition in the bedroom.” Nestor stated that caused Luciana to burst out laughing.
“There is no competition, Nestor. It just adds to the pleasure you give me.” Luci explained as she pulled the blanket over their bodies more.
“Emily and Miguel are going away for the weekend, going out of town.” Luciana looked up at Nestor and frowned. She knew what that meant.
“And you’re going with them?” She asked softly as Nestor placed a loving kiss against her lips.
“I am, and you are coming with me.” Nestor said as Luci raised a brow slowly. “He thought a couple’s getaway would be nice for all of us. Going to the beach and then a vineyard.” Nestor explained as he placed another kiss against Luciana’s lips.
“A-are you sure, Nestor?” Luciana was unsure. She wanted to go, she did, but she really didn’t want to feel like he had to take her.
“Mikey has it all planned out for us. Two hotel suits, a cabana on the beach. Please?” Nestor explained the nice weekend getaway. Luciana day there, thinking about it for a few minutes.
“I’d love to go, Nestor. When do we leave?” Luciana asked as she cuddled closer against Nestor’s side.
“Tomorrow morning, 8 AM we head to Mikey’s place and we leave once him and Emily are all ready.” Nestor explained as he ran his fingers slowly through Luciana’s hair.
“Mmm, I should shower... care to join?” Luciana forced herself out of the bed and Nestor was quick to follow her.
If You Kissed Me Now (Nestor x OC)
On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me simply golden Nestor.
Word Count: 3,432
Playlist: Last Christmas - Wham! & Christmas Time is Here (Vocal) - Vince Guaraldi Trio
We had a specific arrangement. No feelings, no attachments, no obligation. We kept it simple, and fun. It worked. For the most part. There were a few routines we had that blurred the lines a bit, but neither of us were particularly bothered. He kept me a secret because of Galindo, and I kept him a secret because well, Galindo.
It wasn’t every night that Nestor stopped by, but I expected him more often than not. Tonight was another one of those nights. No prior text or call, just Nestor stepping through the door. When he did come over, there were two ways the night could pan out.
Typically, he’d ambush me the second he saw me. Throwing us into a long night of passion and good times. However, there were the few and far between nights that had him dragging his feet and collapsing down on my couch. Tonight happened to be one of those nights.
I was leaning against the counter in the kitchen when I head the front door click open. I peered around the fridge, seeing Nestor’s tired eyes. The door closed of it’s own accord, Nestor’s eyes closed as he stood in the doorway. I arched an eyebrow but waited. He wasn’t a man that you pushed. He’d make his issues known when he was ready.
Without a word, he trudged forward, past the kitchen and right into the living room. I watched the entire time until he fell back onto the couch. He leaned back, head in his hands. I sighed. Must’ve been a hard day. I popped my hip off the counter and opened the fridge. Grabbing two beers.
I popped both caps off as I walked into the living room. I placed one down on the coffee table in front of him. I nudged the TV remote in the same direction, but Nestor was one to enjoy the quiet when the time called. Taking a swing of my drink, I stepped up onto the couch, settling myself behind him.
I encased Nestor between my legs and pulled his head back until it was laying in my lap. He didn’t protest. I set my beer down on the ledge next to me and began running my hands along his French braids. On my second time through them, I delved my fingers into his hair, massaging his scalp.
His shoulders immediately relaxed, and his body slumped into me. I smiled. I may have been the only person to know his secret. He was a man who loved his hair being played with. I slid one hand down the right braid, wrapping it around my palm and tugging. He let out a quiet mumble and I leaned down to press a kiss to his temple.
I let his hair unravel from my hand and watched as it fell back down to his shoulder. I continued to massage his scalp, reaching down to the back of neck and top of his shoulders. After loosening up the tension, I reached for the ends of his braids, took out the ties and began undoing the long plaits.
I didn’t mind these nights. They were welcomed. Over the last year of our tryst, we’d shared the few stress relievers that we held close to our hearts. These quiet nights were becoming more often and I couldn’t help the worry that built. I knew he appreciated that I didn’t question the change, but at the same time I wanted to make sure he was ok.
There were rumours going around that Miguel’s son had been kidnapped. If it was true, it would explain why Nestor was so exhausted. He was Galindo’s commander. He was in charge. He led the Calvary. If they were searching for his son, there was no way Nestor was taking any breaks. It was surprising he was even finding time to make these visits.
Lost in my thoughts, I almost missed as Nestor’s arm reached out and plucked my beer from next to me. He brought it back to his mouth and was about to begin drinking when I realized what he was doing.
“That one’s mine.” I murmured.
He gave a tired smirk but continued to drink out of my bottle, letting his eyes sink closed again. I rolled my eyes and gave a gentle tug on the end of his hair. He opened his eyes, narrowing them up at me. I winked, giving him an innocent smile. I let him drink the rest of my beer, while running my fingers through his unbraided hair, detangling it.
“You have plans on the 23rd?” I asked.
It was random, but I figured he could maybe use a distraction from his day job. He furrowed his eyebrows before shifting to his left and gazing at me.
I shrugged, “I have a work function. Want to be my date?”
His eyebrows shot into his hairline.
I laughed at him, “You don’t have too. I was just thinking it would be a nice change?”
He turned back, facing the front again. He lifted the bottle to his mouth, downed the remaining liquid and swallowed. I swung my leg around him and slid down the couch cushions to sit next to him. I bent one leg beneath me, and held my head up with my hand.
“That’s the day before Christmas Eve.” He observed.
I nodded, “Yep.”
“You’re inviting me to your work’s Christmas party.” He elaborated.
I exhaled, “Is that a problem?”
He pouted in thought. I wasn’t sure if he’d say yes or not. If everything with the cartel was as bad as it was sounding to be, he might not even have the time to break away for a night. I moved to reach for the beer on the table, the one original for him, when his arm intercepted mine and stole the second beer.
I let out a sound of protest, glancing up at him to see the stupid shit eating grin on his face.
“You already drank mine.” I argued.
He chuckled, shrugged and tipped it towards his mouth. I rolled my eyes and smacked the arm holding the bottle. He lost his grip on it, tilting it and spilling it all over himself. I fell backwards into the couch laughing, only to have him crawl onto of me and shake out the liquid like a dog, coating me in the mess.
“Ugh!” I groaned while attempting to shield my face.
His laughter rang out around us as he lowered himself down to my level. I dropped my arms let them settle on his shoulders. His hands caressed their way up my arms and encased my neck. I bit down on my lip but Nestor dove down, prying my lips apart with his teeth. He tugged on my lower lip before letting go and kissing me swiftly.
“What do I have to wear?” He murmured, pressing another kiss to my mouth.
I paused, holding his head a few inches from mine. I searched his eyes, unsure if he was coming by his question honestly. I would never want to make him feel pressured to make a change he wasn’t ready for. Knowing exactly what I was doing, he winked and smiled.
“Seriously?” I needed to ask, for my own clarity.
He nodded in affirmation, “Yes. What’s the dress code?”
“Black tie.” I responded, a shy grin growing on my mouth, “Super fancy.”
He rolled his eyes, and sat up, pulling me with him.
He sighed, “Alright. I’ll pick you up and we’ll go together.”
I scrunched up my nose, pleased that he wanted to be my date for the evening. I threw one leg over his lap and leaned my head on his shoulder. I grabbed the remote off the table, flicked the TV on and began channel surfing. Nestor reclined into the cushions, draping his arm around my shoulders.
I stopped on the Food Network, admiring the meal being made before my eyes. Whatever it was was deep fried and cheesy goodness. My stomach rumbled and I remembered why I was in the kitchen when Nestor showed up. I’d been hungry and rummaging through my cupboards for a snack.
I licked my lips and glanced up at Nestor, “Great, now what’s for dinner?”
He laughed and pressed a kiss to my temple before grabbing his phone to start scrolling through Uber Eats.
~(MMC)~
I stood in my hallway, using the mirror there to pin the last few pieces of hair in place. I hadn’t gone for much in the hair department. A simple up-do with a few stray tendrils here and there. It complimented the low cut off the shoulder evening gown I was wearing. I went for a deep rouge colour, knowing it would compliment my skin tone.
I hadn’t gone overboard with the accessories, choosing to only wear a delicate gold chain and matching gold pumps. I glanced out the front window as I heard a car pulling up. I checked the time on my phone and smirked. Exactly on time. I slipped on my shoes, making sure the straps were securely in place before reaching for the door.
I tucked my clutch under my arm, recounting all the essentials I needed for the evening. Lipstick, phone, keys, cash and cards. I stepped through the door, shutting it behind me and locking it. I turned towards Nestor’s car to find him ducking out of the driver’s side to come and greet me.
When Nestor came around and looked up he froze. I bit down on my lip, nervous. Neither of us had ever been so formal. I continued towards him, reaching down to grab a handful of my gown before reaching the steps. Upon reaching them, Nestor shook out of his reverie and held out a hand.
I laid my other hand in his and he guided me down the steps. As I made my way down I couldn’t help but be impressed with his attire. Nestor never looked shabby, but there was a distinct difference from his everyday clothes to this. He was donned in all black. Black slacks, a black button up and a black tie. The only colour on him was the gold Gaudalupe chain and pendant.
Both of us were caught up in admiring the other. I knew tonight would be different for us. We’d never gone out in public together. We didn’t ‘date’. Add in the formality of the night, and it made it seem like more than just a simple work party. It felt like an official first date.
While still holding my hand, Nestor took a step backwards and made a show of eyeing me up and down. I blushed but loved the attention. He stepped in closer, his eyes locked on mine.
“Mi princesa.” He murmured.
The heat in my cheeks strengthened and I attempted to hid behind my clutch. I took a moment to steel myself again, hoping most of the red had disappeared. I peered over at Nestor, who was still grinning. I tapped him lightly on his upper arm with my clutch.
“Don’t get all sentimental on me now.” I teased, “Where’s that bad boy persona you so like to flaunt?”
He chuckled at my obvious ploy to distract him but wasn’t falling for it. Instead of replying, he led me towards the car, opened it and helped my climb up into the seat.
“Think you can handle the buckle on your own?” He taunted.
I rolled my eyes, grabbing for the door, “Shut up.”
He laughed out loud as a I shut the door in his face. He rounded the front of the car before climbing into his side. I made a big show of pushing the buckle into the clasp and staring at him. He shook his head in amusement, a smirk on his mouth.
He pulled away from the curb and we were on our way. My heart was pounding, the rush of blood all I could hear. I knew that he agreed to this, but now the nerves were taking over. I stared out my window, watching the scenery as it blurred past. I really liked Nestor. Maybe a bit more than the ‘friends with benefits’ rapport we agreed on. I didn’t want to overthink the night, but it was Christmas after all. Didn’t we all get that one Christmas wish? He could be mine.
We’d only been driving for twenty minutes when his phone went off. Without glancing down, he picked it up and answered. I could hear immediately who was on the other end. It was a voice I’d grown to recognize. Miguel Galindo. We’d never met, seeing as Nestor and I never stepping out of our comfort zones. I knew without a doubt that Miguel was Nestor’s oldest and best friend. Aside from the whole cartel thing.
The conversation wasn’t long, and I knew that meant that Nestor wouldn’t be accompanying me to my party. When Miguel called, Nestor was gone. Not only was that his employer, but it was also his friend. Someone he cared deeply for. I couldn’t be mad. I sighed waiting for the inevitable. Nestor dropped his phone back down onto the console and turned to me.
“Mind if we make a quick stop?” He asked.
My mind reeled. What was he saying? I knew literally what he was asking me, but what was the underlying meaning? Where were we making this so called stop?
“You sure?” I confirmed, “You can just drop me here. I’ll call an uber, or catch a cab.”
Nestor shook his head, “No. Half an hour, tops. Then we’ll be back on the road.”
I arched my eyebrows, surprised that he was being so forthcoming.
I shrugged, “Alright.”
~(MMC)~
When we pulled into the driveway, I felt all the air from my lungs disappear. I’d seen beautiful homes before, but it was another thing to be pulling up in front of one. Nestor grabbed his effects, before turning off the car and stashing his keys in his pocket.
I relaxed back into my seat, prepared to wait out however long we’d be here. Nestor took no more than three steps towards the house before he realized that I hadn’t moved. He turned around and beckoned me to follow him. I widened my eyes, questioning him. Nestor nodded, coming back to the car.
“Come on.” He coaxed, “You’ll be more comfortable inside.”
He held out his hand, waiting. I swallowed. I was going to meet Miguel. This was huge. Was I prepared for how huge this was? I thought tonight was a small change. Something new added to our routine. Nestor had gone and chosen to make a full statement.
I exhaled and placed my hand in his. I’d already decided that I wanted him. Cartel and all. If he was willing to make that stand too, then I wouldn’t make it hard on him. I slipped from my seat, the sound of my heels on the cobblestone driveway loud to my ears.
When we reached the door, he didn’t knock. Every alarm in my head began going off. I wasn’t even knocking at the door of Miguel Galindo. I was waltzing into his family home. A stranger. Someone he didn’t even know. I really hoped Nestor knew what he was doing.
Nestor led me straight into the main room. He offered me a seat, but I was too nervous. I discreetly shook my head, opting to stand for the time being. I was prepared to be kicked out on my ass. There was no way I’d be permitted to stay in here.
“Nestor!” I heard Miguel call from our left.
We both turned, and it took all but second for Miguel to notice me. I swallowed, seeing the calculating expression on his face. He made his way over, and greeted Nestor without any malice. When they parted, Nestor turned to me, grabbing my hand and pulling me closer.
“This is who I’ve been hiding.” Nestor announced, “The one I wouldn’t tell you about, mi princesa.”
For a split second I forgot where were were and sighed, lightly smacking Nestor’s arm. Miguel watched the interaction with fascination. His eyebrows shooting up into his hairline.
“Princesa?” Miguel questioned, pointedly looking at Nestor.
I rolled my eyes, trying to remain calm. I nodded, inhaling to quell the butterflies in my stomach and extended my hand.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you.” I greeted, “Nestor doesn’t talk much about his personal life, but there’s no question that you mean a lot to him.”
Miguel chuckled, and took my hand. He pulled me closer and gave me the traditional kiss on both cheeks.
On the second cheek, he whispered, “You can relax. You wouldn’t be here if Nestor didn’t completely trust you.”
I blinked at the statement. Wild tears began to build. Ones that I hadn’t realized had been in the bank but now that my fears had been acknowledged, they felt the need to make themselves known. I bobbed my head in acknowledgement and turned away to wipe at the tears threatening to spill over.
Miguel pulled back, “Why don’t you have a seat out there,” He pointed to the back deck, “and I’ll have Nestor back to you in no time.”
I smiled, “Thank you.”
As I made my way across the room, Nestor broke from his conversation to catch my wrist. I turned to face him, and he puckered his lips to blow me a kiss. I smirked, laughing at his cockiness. Regardless of how sweet he was being, his inner sixteen-year-old always made an appearance. I shook my head at him, and kept on walking.
“Cool it lover boy.” I fake admonished, “You haven’t even taken me on a real date yet.”
I could hear Miguels laughter as I walked away.
~(MMC)~
We were back in the car, no more than forty-five minutes later. It was a bit longer than the half hour he promised, but I wasn’t all that concerned. Nestor leaned forward, inserting the keys into the ignition but paused.
“What?” I questioned, tilting my head to the left.
He exhaled, closing his eyes. After a beat, he pushed back on the steering wheel and reached into the console storage between us. He lifted up the arm rest and pulled out a rectangular black velvet box. There was a simple red bow tied around it.
He held the box between his hands, staring down at it.
“I was going to wait until Christmas to give this to you.” He explained, “I’ve been carrying it around for weeks now. I wasn’t sure if it would be too much. We’d always been comfortable in our arrangement. And you barely wear any jewellery. I didn’t know if you’d appreciate the gesture. Then you asked me to come with you tonight. Some how, we ended up on the same page without the other knowing.”
Everything around me froze. My brain stopped functioning and I wasn’t even sure I was breathing. This was too good to be true. He handed the small package out to me. With shaking hands, I accepted the gift. I laid it down in my lap, taking a moment to process the gravity of our situation.
I ran one finger under the ribbon, breaking the bow away from the box. With my thumbs I pushed the box up and open. I let out an audible gasp when I saw what laid inside.
“Nestor.” I murmured.
It was beautiful, gold chain bracelet. It was dainty and subtle. There were two charms hanging from it. One a heart, and the other the first letter of my name. I rolled my lips together, unsure of what to say. No words seemed to be appropriate for this gift.
I held out my wrist, “Put it on, please.”
He smiled, plucking the delicate bracelet from the cushion. He wrapped it around my wrist, attaching the clasps together. The cool metal made the hair on my skin stand up. It was precious. Important. I gazed up at the man across from me. His eyes were shining, proud of his present. Proud of me.
His hands framed my face as he bowed to kiss me. I met his mouth with mine. It was wet and imperfect, but I didn’t care. I knew a few tears had spilled over and I was ok with that. I pulled back, licking my lips. Never in all my years had I pictured myself having the fairy tale Christmas story but here I was, experiencing it all.
“Merry Christmas, mi princesa.” He whispered, kissing me one more time.
NSFW 18+ - Not smutty but smut implied.
It was one of those rare days in Santo Padre where the cool air reminds you that there are four seasons, the scent of death lingers in the air. The leaves, the soil, the grass, all dying as autumn blows through town, everything tinged brown. The click of her boots echo through the empty park as she slides into the cold metal chair, placing her handbag carefully on the ground she pulls out a smaller bag emptying it on the chess board table.
Her long fingers placing the pieces from their last meeting, satisfied with their placement she leans back, studying the board. Trying to predict his next move. She doesn’t have to wait long, as he slides into his seat, no acknowledgement of her as he slides his next move.
A smirk dances across his lips as he watches her, her skin glowing, she’s always been brighter than anything in this town. He watches as she cocks an eyebrow studying the board. Her tongue darted out, licking her lower lip, before her teeth sank in. He wonders what it would be like to sink his teeth into her delicate lips, would she enjoy it, or would she shed a tear? He doesn’t know which option excites him more.
She finally looks up, his hair is out of his normal braids, his curls cascading around his face, a hint of the wildness that sits just under his skin. Her eyes roam, taking in his wide shoulders and hard chest. His tattoos poking out of his shirt collar and his wrists, she lets her mind wander, wondering just how far down his ink goes. Her fingers hover over her next move, and without a second thought she captures two of his pieces.
A soft laugh escapes his lips, as her eyes meet his dark ones, getting lost in the soft flecks of gold within.
“One of these days I’m going to stop letting you win,” he murmurs.
“You’ve never once let me win,” she retorts.
“No?” he asks, cocking his eyebrow as he makes his next move.
She gazes down at the board, thinking of her next move “why would you?” she asks.
He leans back in his chair stretching his legs out, his jeans brushing up against her stockings, the heat from his body making him shiver.
“Maybe I just want to get back in your good graces,” he smirks.
“There are better ways to get back in my good graces” she states, making her move, her eyes studying his fingers, wondering what they would feel like against her bare skin, skimming across her ribs, cupping her breasts, rolling her nipples between them.
She can feel the intensity of his gaze, as she looks up meeting his eyes again. His tongue darts out, licking his lower lip, another shiver runs through her.
“You could get on your knees and beg for my forgiveness to start with” she says, moving her final piece into place “Checkmate” she smirks as she packs up the pieces, as he leans back in his chair, smirking at her.
She slides an envelope across the table as she stands, picking her handbag up and slings it over her shoulder. As she starts to walk away his hand snakes out grabbing her arm, she can feel his warmth through the thickness of her coat, his fingers setting her alight.
She looks down at him as he smirks up at her “tell me when and where” he murmurs, his voice tinged with anticipation and desire.
She reaches into her coat pocket pulling out the card she prepared earlier, dropping it into his lap, leaning down as she brushes her lips across his ear.
“Don’t be late,” she whispers, feeling the shiver run through him.
Straightening up, she walks back out of the park, her heels echoing against the concrete, his eyes burning into her from behind.
Once she’s out of sight he picks up the card she dropped, heavy paper, embossed with gold detailing only an address with a date and time, neatly typed.
He smirks down at the card “checkmate” he mutters to himself as he collects the envelope off the table and heads out of the park himself.
Caught In The Middle | Mayans MC ~ The Aftermath
Info | Chapter 1 | Chapter 2 | Chapter 3 | Chapter 4 | Chapter 5 | Chapter 6 | Chapter 7 | Chapter 8 | Chapter 9 | Chapter 10
Word count: 11,178
Victoria huffed out another sigh for the fifth time this morning as she searched through the mansion-like Galindo compound for her cell phone. The Miller woman had looked inside of the conference room, the guest bedroom, the bathroom, the living room, and the kitchen for her cell phone but she wasn't having any luck in finding the device.
Thankfully, though, as Victoria walked through the dining room, she noticed her iPhone lying at the edge of the corner of the wooden table. Victoria immediately rolled her hazel eyes at the sight of her device as she had totally forgotten that this was the last place that she had been at with cell phone when she and Nestor had shared a bottle of bourbon since she couldn't fall asleep at around two in the morning.
Victoria pulled out one of the many chairs around the Italian and expensive dining table as her body was still so exhausted from last night's events before she turned on her cell phone. The Miller woman's hazel irises instantly widened when she noticed that she had a lot of missed calls and text messages from Angel, a few from Ezekiel, and a check-up type text message from Happy.
"Shit," Victoria swore underneath her breath as she knew this wasn't good if she planned on keeping what happened last night a secret. The brunette woman just hoped that neither Reyes brother had stopped by her house and noticed that she wasn't there or she would have to lie and Victoria absolutely hated lying to the Reyes men. Victoria just didn't want either of the men to worry about her or even know that she went to dinner with the leader of the Galindo cartel since she knew how protective that they can get.
The Miller woman figured that she would listen to the voicemails and check her text messages that she hadn't opened yet before she would start freaking out about what she was going to tell the Reyes men. However, though, before Victoria could even click on one of the many voicemails that Angel had left her - which confused Victoria a lot since it hadn't even been a full twenty-four hours since the kidnapping and he couldn't have possibly heard what happened yet - Victoria was soon interrupted when she noticed that the older Reyes was calling her once again.
The Miller woman took a deep breath as she stared at the photo of her and Angel making silly faces at the camera before she finally slid her finger across the screen and accepted the call. Victoria, however, didn't even get the chance to greet the Mayan before Angel hurriedly asked the pediatric nurse, "hey, are you okay?" Angel paced the outside of the clubhouse as he continued to ask in a worried voice, "I didn't hear from you last night and I stopped by the house and the hospital, too. They haven't seen you either. Are you in trouble?"
Victoria pulled the cell phone from her face when Angel wanted to know where she was before she took another deep breath and prepared for what she was about to do. The brunette woman knew that she couldn't tell Angel the truth about what happened last night since she knew he would want to see her right away and he'd probably end up confronting the Galindo cartel out of anger and would probably end up dead if he saw her injuries right now.
Besides, Victoria wanted to be here for her old friend during a difficult time, so the Miller woman figured lying to Angel was her best option right now. Victoria took another deep breath to calm her nerves before she brought her cell phone back to her face - where Angel was still asking questions about her location. "I'm sorry," Victoria uttered as she cut off the Mayan's interrogation before she told him her master lie, "I totally spaced out yesterday and forgot I had a medical conference in Oa- Stanford."
Victoria mentally scolded herself for almost screwing up her plan already by saying that she was in Oakland. The brunette woman knew that would have been one major mistake since she knew Angel would have called Marcus or one of the other Mayans from the Oakland charter to check up on her. Victoria figured Stanford was her safest answer since it was far enough away from Oakland and Charming, so Angel couldn't call either Oakland charter or any of their friends at the SAMCRO clubhouse.
"I left late last night," Victoria continued with her lie as she covered up her mistake. "I'm just now finished getting settled into the hotel that the hospital placed me in for the conference that I completely forgot to give you call to let you know I wasn't in S'Padre," the Miller woman explained to Angel.
The Reyes man couldn't help the sigh of relief that escaped his mouth as soon as heard Victoria's calm and smooth voice as he had been worried for hours. "You almost gave me a heart attack, mi princesa," Angel muttered in his rough voice as he ran his fingers through his thick and dark hair. Angel took a deep breath to remind himself that the Miller woman was okay before he curiously wondered and added in a mumble, "do you know when you'll be back home? I miss you."
The Miller woman tried to silent the laugh that was bubbling up in her sore chest as she heard the needy biker's clingy voice that she was quite used to from over the years. "I should be home by tomorrow morning," Victoria stated once she could breathe again from hiding her laughter. Victoria didn't think it would be a good idea for Angel to see her tomorrow because of injuries but she knew if she would have told him that she was going to be up at Stanford for a few days then he would just end up showing up to place that she was not located in and it would make this situation so much worse.
"Alright," the Reyes man mumbled with a quiet sigh as he leaned his body against the side of the Mayans clubhouse. Angel wasn't really pleased that he wound have to wait another day to see his best friend and best girl but he knew there was no other option right now when the club was constantly busy and it wasn't a necessity to see Victoria right away.
The line between the pediatric nurse and the Mayan member was silent for a few moments as they just enjoyed the calmness before Angel spoke up again. "You do miss me, right?" Angel inquired with a playful tone to his voice.
This time, Victoria actually released her laughter as she amusingly chuckled at the needy biker. The Miller woman took a second to collect herself after laughing at the Mayan before she softly murmured, "yeah, I do." The pediatric nurse immediately bit down on her bottom lip as soon as the words escaped her mouth as she was suddenly riddled with this large amount of guilt. "Listen, Ange," Victoria began as she took a deep breath before she furthered her lie, "I really need to start getting ready for the first conference today." The Miller woman knew if she didn't hang up now, then she would just end up spilling everything to Angel.
Angel released a small sigh as he didn't want the conversation to stop before he mumbled, "yeah, I know." The Mayan, no matter how selfish he wanted to be, wasn't going to hold Victoria back since he knew how important her job was to her. "Give me a call when you get back to the hotel," Angel requested as he wanted to make sure that Victoria was being careful without any club members watching out for her. It was a protective thing that Angel had been doing ever since he was eighteen and Victoria was seventeen. He just always liked to have a club member keeping an eye on Victoria to make sure that no enemy of the Mayans or SAMCRO could harm her.
"I will," Victoria automatically promised since she was used to this routine with the older Reyes brother whenever she would leave Santo Padre. It was the deal that she had with Angel along with uncle Chibby out in Charming.
The Miller woman briefly closed her hazel eyes and took a deep breath when their conversation grew silent as she remembered that she was currently lying to one of the most important people in her life. Victoria absolutely despised lying to Angel, so the brunette woman quickly made an excuse, "I-I gotta get going, Ange."
Angel knew that he was holding the brunette woman from his stalling so he mumbled out, "alright." The Mayan member stood up from his position against the clubhouse and headed towards the stairs as he said his goodbye, "I love you, mi princesa, and be careful today."
"Love you too," Victoria mumbled back before she quickly ended the call before she or Angel could say anymore to make her feel even more guilty for lying to him. The Miller woman immediately released a heavy sigh as she tossed her cell phone onto the dining table before she glanced down to her injured arm with a deep frown embedded on her face.
Victoria's mind was absolutely jumbled right now from everything that has happened in less than twenty-four hours. The Miller woman was worried about how she was supposed to handle the Angel situation tomorrow morning when the older Reyes would most likely show up at her house to check on her - where he would see her broken limb and the bruises covering her body.
Victoria knew it would go either one of two ways. Angel was going to get furious and want to kill someone or he was going to go into protective mode and not let her out of his sight. The Miller woman would settle for the second option every single time since this had to deal with the Galindo cartel and Victoria didn't want Angel's cute face to be ruined with a bullet.
The pediatric nurse was so lost in her thoughts of what would be waiting for her tomorrow morning as she sat at the dining room table in the Galindo compound that she didn't even hear anyone walk into the room until she heard the Oceteva man gently ask her as he stood a few feet away from her, "everything alright?"
The Miller woman immediately looked up from her injured arm with a surprise look on her face at the new voice in the room when she had thought she was completely alone. Victoria relaxed, though, when she saw it was Nestor before she shot him a shy smile. The brunette woman lightly shrugged her good arm as she answered his question, "just a worried Angel."
Nestor silently nodded his head in understanding as he hummed, "ah." The Oceteva man joined the brunette woman at the dining table as he took at seat directly beside Victoria before he curiously wondered, "are you planning on telling him what happened last night?" Nestor knew that Miguel was going to involve the Mayans in search for the youngest Galindo but he wanted to know what Victoria thought.
Victoria instantly shook her head as she released a small chuckle. The Miller woman rolled her hazel eyes when she noticed Nestor's puzzled expression before she explained why that wasn't a good idea, "Angel has a temper, so I don't think telling him would help anyone. It would just cause Angel to get a bullet in his head by my best friend's husband."
Nestor twitched his head to the side as he stared across at the brunette woman with curiousness shining throughout his brown irises. "And why do you think he would go after Miguel?" The Oceteva man questioned before he stated, even though he did know it was Miguel's choice of business for the reason why the car accident and the kidnapping took place, "he didn't cause what happened last night."
The Miller woman rolled her hazel eyes as she stated, "Angel doesn't even know I've been around the Galindo cartel lately, so he'll definitely blame it on Miguel if I explained what happened." Victoria lightly shrugged her good shoulder before she added to prove her point, "besides, you've met Angel and seen how he is. He shoots first and asks questions later." Victoria couldn't even count anymore how many times Coco had called and ranted to her to get Angel's head on straight over the years.
"Ah, yes," the Oceteva man murmured to himself as he nodded his head before he told the Miller woman with a hint of amusement shining throughout his voice, "the kid has quite the temper." Nestor was usually silent during the meetings with the Mayans but he could remember a handful of times that he had seen Angel Reyes getting scolded or a slap on the back of his head by the president of the motorcycle club.
Victoria immediately gasped at what the cartel assassin had said before she lightly slapped Nestor's arm with her good hand like they were the best of friends. "He's not a kid," the Miller woman defended the older Reyes in a mumble.
"He sure acts like one," Nestor teased as he released an amusement chuckle. The Oceteva man shot the brunette woman a teasing smirk before he wondered, "why are you seeing him again?" Nestor honestly didn't see why Victoria was settling for someone like the older Reyes brother when she was so smart and kind and also so much of a mystery.
The Miller woman couldn't help the beet red blush that rose onto her tan cheeks at the Oceteva man's question. Victoria avoided Nestor's playful gaze as she looked around the dining room before she muttered, "I am so not having this conversation with you." The pediatric nurse didn't know what it was but she just felt too awkward to talk with Nestor about her relationship with Angel.
"Alright, alright," the Oceteva man uttered with an amused and hearty chuckle as he raised his hands up in the air in innocence. Nestor stared across at the brunette woman for a silent moment with a tiny smile playing on his lips as he always enjoyed their time together before his dark eyes slowly focused onto Victoria's injures. "How's the arm doing?" The Oceteva man inquired as he knew Victoria had to be still in pain - especially during the first day after the incident.
"It's fine," the Miller woman stated with a small shrug as she glanced down to the white arm sling covering part of her chest and shoulder. Victoria glanced up to Nestor as she gave him a thankful smile for what he did to help fix her up before she added in a bitter tone, "it's just a little sore - nothing I'm not used to." Victoria may have not gotten injured since she was a young teenager but her injures were nothing compared to what she had experienced back then.
The Oceteva man couldn't help but to immediately frown at Victoria's words as he knew no normal person should have experienced these type of injures to be so casual about it. This was just another thing that made Nestor so curious about the mysterious woman. "What do you mean by that?" The Oceteva man wondered as he wanted to find out about all of Victoria's secrets like this one.
Victoria's hazel eyes instantly widened when she realized that she had uttered those words out loud. The Miller woman had thought she had said that sentence in her head - something that had to deal with her childhood trauma from her father, something that she never wanted to talk about ever again. Victoria knew that she needed to quickly fix her mistake before she said something worse, so the brunette woman hurriedly sputtered out, "I-I mean..."
However, thankfully for Victoria and sadly for Nestor, the Miller woman was soon interrupted before she could make an excuse by Miguel Galindo suddenly walking into the room before he asked his fellow associate and best friend while he stared down at his cell phone, "where are we? Has anyone found anything?" The leader of the Galindo cartel growled out before Nestor could even say anything as he angrily muttered, "we don't even fucking know what car they are driving."
Victoria, who had been anxious sitting in her seat at the dining room table when she heard Miguel's fierce and devil-like voice, shakily raised her good hand in the air before she nervously and cautiously uttered to the angry cartel leader, "um... If I may... I think I can be of some help with that." The Miller woman had planned on helping in any way that she could but she was anxious about speaking to Miguel since she didn't know if he would end up killing her if she said something that would upset him.
The Galindo man swiftly looked up from his cell phone as he hadn't realized that Nestor was with someone until he noticed his wife's old friend seated right next to his head of security. The aforementioned Oceteva man immediately straightened out his body when Miguel took notice of Victoria before he asked the brunette woman before Miguel could jump down her throat, "what do you know?" Nestor had planned on asking Victoria about last night's events but he wanted to let her rest first - something that was very unlike him.
The Miller woman nervously glanced between the two men before she stared solely at the man with the missing son as she recalled what she remembered from last night, "it was an old station wagon." Victoria briefly closed her hazel eyes as she tried to remember the details of the vehicle before she stated with a look of certainty in her sparkling irises, "it was yellow and it might have a few bullet holes in it."
Miguel and Nestor both immediately raised their eyebrows at Victoria's surprising statement. "Yours?" The Galindo man curiously wondered about his wife's old friend and someone is actively involved the Mayans motorcycle club.
Victoria nodded her head before she explained, "I'm always packing for protection." The Miller woman was quite used to dealing with weapons throughout her years of being around motorcycle clubs. She had handled guns ever since she was seventeen when she would go over to Charming - even though the Sons have always kept her pretty protected on their own. So Victoria was quite familiar with using a weapon - even though it had been years since she had to use one.
The Galindo man nodded his head once as he gave the brunette woman a look of appreciation for going that extra yard that his wife's security guard couldn't. "Thank you for protecting Emily," the cartel leader stated as he uttered his praise for what Victoria did for his family.
"Of course," the Miller woman murmured as she gave the Galindo man a soft smile. "I would do it again if I could," Victoria added her true feelings about what happened last night. It was true, too, as Victoria would always protect the blonde woman like her own sister. It didn't matter that they have spent years apart from one another, Victoria would always be there for Emily.
"I appreciate it," Miguel told the brunette woman with a tiny half smile as he showed his praise once more. The Galindo man then swiftly moved his fierce dark eyes over to his head of security to get back to business. "Come," Miguel commanded as he nodded his head back towards his office before he stated, "let's go talk about what your men have gathered."
However, though, before the Oceteva man could stand up from seat at the dining room table, the Miller woman, once again, nervously muttered, "if I may..." Victoria lightly cleared her throat when two pairs of brown eyes were locked on her before she told the leader of the Galindo cartel, "I would like to know what's going on." The brunette woman quickly added with she noticed the change of emotions on Miguel's face as she uttered, "I... I'd like to offer my help."
The Galindo man raised one of his eyebrows in amusement at the brunette woman. "Really?" Miguel curiously wondered before he questioned as he crossed his arms over his designer gray suit jacket, "and why should I want your help and what could you do for me?"
"Emily has always been family to me," the Miller woman explained, "so that makes you and Cristobal my family as well and if there's anything I can to help, then I want to do it." Victoria had always been someone that liked to help people in need and when it comes to someone close to her, the brunette woman would do everything in her power to help.
Miguel stared across at the Miller woman for a few tense moments as he tried to get a read on Victoria but when he couldn't find any ill intentions within Victoria's soft and kind hazel eyes, Miguel looked over to his best friend and head of security. "Nestor," the Galindo man simply called out as he silently asked the assassin for his opinion on the brunette woman.
Nestor wasn't really a fan of Victoria getting involved with cartel issues - for some reason that he couldn't understand but docked it down for just simply caring for the brunette woman under the few weeks that they have gotten to know each other. However, the Oceteva man also liked the idea of being able to keep an eye on Victoria instead of her being around the bikers and them carelessly putting her in even more danger than she already is.
"She could have seen something important that we haven't caught yet," the head of security of the Galindo cartel told his boss after a moment of making his decision to let Victoria join in on their conversation and allowing her to get involved.
Miguel completely trusted the Oceteva man's judgement, so he released a silent sigh along with muttering, "alright." The Galindo man silently took a seat at the dining table across from Nestor and Victoria before he asked the brunette woman in his very serious voice that he always used when it came down to the family business, "did you see who these people were that took mi mijo?"
Victoria released a small breath of relief when the leader of the Galindo cartel was going to allow her to be involved with the issue of Cristobal's kidnapping and what happened last night. It pleased the brunette woman because if he didn't, she would have just went behind his back and did her own research to help Emily find her son since Victoria basically owed her life to the blonde from everything that she did for her during their childhood.
"They were Los Olvidados," the Miller woman told Miguel with complete confidence in her voice. Victoria, even though she didn't know much about the rebels, knew enough from what she had seen on the local TV news stations like the creepy masks that they had been wearing last night.
Miguel twitched his head to the side with his fingers resting underneath his chin as he listened to the brunette woman's words. "How do you know about them?" The Galindo man curiously interrogated the pediatric nurse about one of the Galindo cartel's current enemies.
"Angel and the club," the Miller woman answered Miguel's question with an obvious response. "He always tries to make sure I'm protected so he tells me a little bit about what the club does and their business," Victoria explained about how she knew about the rebels when Miguel gave her a puzzled look.
The Galindo man slowly nodded his head as he accepted the brunette woman's answer before he questioned as he got back on topic to what took place last night, "and you are sure that it was them?"
Victoria immediately moved her head up and down. "It was two large men and a small child all dressed in creepy masks," the Miller woman described what she had seen. Victoria slowly moved her hazel irises down to her injured arm before she added bitterly, "the angry one with the long hair definitely knew what he was doing." The brunette woman glanced over to the tense Nestor as she uttered, "I think he had military training or he grew up into a rough life."
Victoria twitched her head to the side as she thought about her words before she looked back over to the cartel leader. "It makes sense, though," the Miller woman commented before she continued with her thought process, "if they are apart of the 'Forgotten Ones' because of whatever bad experience it may be from something you, the cartel, had done, of course they would want to retaliate."
The Galindo man couldn't help the wide smirk that lifted onto his lips at the fact that Victoria wasn't scared of what she said to him and that she wasn't hiding anything. "So, you are very much informed?" Miguel questioned with a teasing tone in his voice.
Victoria released an awkward chuckle as she nodded her head. "It's part of the deal with getting involved with the MC," the brunette woman explained with a small shrug of her shoulders before she added, "Angel doesn't tell me much but the news are a big help along with my own research." Victoria never liked being in the dark when it came to club business but Angel wasn't like Jax or Chibs with letting her know everything, so Victoria usually did a little bit of research just to be careful and cautious around certain people.
The dining room table in the Galindo compound grew silent after Victoria's explanation of her knowledge of the rebels before the Oceteva man opened his mouth and continued with their conversation. "Tell us more about the people that hit the car," Nestor requested as he stared over at the brunette woman.
Victoria moved her hazel irises over to Nestor before she nodded her head as she focused back onto why she was speaking with the leader of the Galindo cartel. "I'm not exactly sure what year or model the car was but I know it was an old yellow station wagon - maybe late eighties," the Miller woman explained. Victoria shook her head as she added to her description, "and it wasn't bright yellow. It was more like a fading mustard type color. It also had four doors."
The Miller woman thought back to what she could remember about the vehicle that took off with the youngest Galindo before Victoria commented, "honestly, they might not even be driving it anymore since I got in a few bullets but then again, I'm not sure if they landed or not." Victoria released a small sigh as she stared at the man with the missing son before she mumbled, "I wish I could be more of help."
"It's okay," the Oceteva man immediately assured Victoria as he lightly placed his warm and rough hand onto her exposed knee, that was peaking from the silk pajama bottoms that Victoria had gotten from Emily last night, from underneath the dining table and gave it a small squeeze. "It's a lot more than we knew earlier," Nestor told the brunette woman as he assured her that she had been helpful to them. The Oceteva man wasn't exactly sure why he felt like he needed to make sure that Victoria's spirits weren't lowered but he would do whatever it took to see that sweet smile on her face again.
"Nestor's right," the Galindo man told the pediatric nurse as he nodded his head. "I appreciate the help, Victoria," the cartel leader uttered his praise for the information that the brunette gave them. The dining room at the Galindo compound grew silent for a moment as Miguel stared across at Victoria before he quietly muttered as he silently gave the brunette woman a request, "and if you could keep my wife busy today, I would very much appreciate that as well."
Victoria immediately knew that the Galindo man wasn't really asking her but telling her to do it. However, the Miller woman didn't mind since it probably had to deal with the brutal parts of the cartel to get their son back, so Victoria shot Miguel a small smile as she uttered in agreement, "of course." The pediatric nurse slowly pushed her chair away from the dining table and cautiously moved to stand up from the table as she told Miguel, "let me know if I can help you in any way."
However, the Miller woman didn't put in the fact that her body was still slowly healing as her felt herself lose her balance for a second. That second was just enough time for the cartel assassin to see it before Nestor was quickly standing up from the dining room table. "You alright?" The Oceteva man worriedly asked as he steadily wrapped his large hand around Victoria's elbow to help hold her up.
Victoria lightly waved her hand - which caused Nestor to let her go - before she told him with a small chuckle, "I'm good." The Miller woman shot the Oceteva man a grateful smile as she softly murmured, "thank you." Victoria appreciated everything that the cartel assassin had done for her since last night. Nestor had been nothing but kind and gentle with her when he fixed up her cuts and bruises along with making sure that she was comfortable in bed when she had finally went to sleep at around four in the morning.
The Miller woman shot the two men of Nestor and Miguel one last smile before she promised the leader of the Galindo cartel, "I'll make sure Emily is okay while you handle your business." Victoria watched at Miguel gave her a small nod and Nestor shot her a soft smile before she silently walked out of the room.
Victoria sluggishly made her way out of the dining room and the kitchen before she walked up to the patio door as she could see the familiar blonde woman sitting outside with Miguel's mother, who Victoria had met last night, while Nestor and Miguel took their exit out of the Galindo compound. The Miller woman just stood outside the double glass doors for a moment as she prepared herself to be there for her old friend - even though the leader of the Galindo cartel had asked to her to do just that. Victoria was going to that anyways but she knew that she needed to make sure that Emily didn't start asking about her husband's whereabouts.
The Miller woman took one last deep breath once she was ready before Victoria silently pushed one of the two glass doors open and made her presence known as the brunette woman walked out onto the large patio - which immediately caused Dita to quickly look up while Emily kept her gaze locked on her son's favorite stuffed animal in her hands.
"Good morning," the older Galindo woman, Dita, greeted the pediatric nurse with a friendly and polite smile shining across her lips despite their current circumstances of her missing grandson.
"Good morning," Victoria greeted the older woman back as she shot Dita a small smile before she took a seat across from the two Galindo women. The Miller woman stared at her old friend with her brows furrowed in sadness for what the blonde was going through before she softly asked, "how are you holding up, Emmie?"
The blonde Galindo woman lightly shrugged her shoulders as she kept her teary eyes locked on the stuffed lion toy that Cristobal loved to sleep with. "I want my son back," Emily finally mumbled after a moment in a broken and shaky voice.
The Miller woman's heart immediately broke at the sight of the Galindo woman. Victoria hated that Emily had to go through this but she was going to do whatever that she could to help Emily cope while Nestor and Miguel tried to track down the rebels that stole the youngest Galindo.
"I know," Victoria softly uttered before she placed her good hand on top of the Galindo woman's shaking one. The pediatric nurse waited until Emily looked up to her for the first time this morning before she asked, "have you eaten yet?" Victoria shot the blonde woman a playful smile before she uttered, "I could whip up some of my famous french toast for you."
The blonde Galindo woman let a small half smile lift up onto her lips as she instantly recalled the memories of Victoria making french toast during their childhood. There was absolutely nothing famous about the Miller woman's french toast but they always said it was because it was the only thing either girl could make when they were younger. "That sounds perfect," Emily told the pediatric nurse as she could really use some type of comfort right now.
A wide grin immediately lifted onto Victoria's face as she was glad that she had seen the tiniest of smiles lift up onto the saddened blonde's lips like she had wanted. The Miller woman gave her old friend's hand a small squeeze before she looked over to the other Galindo woman. "Would you like to join us, Dita?" The pediatric nurse politely asked as she didn't want to be rude or disrespectful by leaving the older woman out.
Dita shot the Miller woman a small smile as she nodded her head. "Of course," the older Galindo woman uttered as she accepted Victoria's invitation to breakfast.
Victoria gave the older woman another smile as she was pleased to have mama cartel join her and Emily before the injured woman slowly stood up from her seat. The pediatric nurse waited until Emily shakily stood up as well before she linked her good arm with the blonde woman's. The three women then silently headed back to the Galindo compound, where Victoria placed Emily at the island bar, before the Miller woman headed into the kitchen to get the correct ingredients for her famous french toast.
"So, how did you two meet?" Dita inquired from her spot beside her daughter in law as she watched at the Miller woman grabbed a couple of eggs with her one good arm. The Galindo woman had heard a little bit about Victoria from when Emily gushed to her about running into her childhood friend the other day but Dita didn't know all that much about the Miller woman.
"We've known each other practically our whole lives," Victoria began as she shot the blonde woman a quick grin. "We met in kindergarten, I believe," the Miller woman told Dita as she started to crack eggs inside of a glass bowl, "and we never could separate after that." Victoria couldn't really remember a time during their childhood when she and Emily weren't attached by the hip. She figured it was because they both didn't have the best home lives growing up so they grew closer that way.
"It's not like she gave me much of a choice," Emily joked as she shot her old friend a teasing but tiny smile.
Victoria playfully rolled her hazel eyes at the blonde woman before she pointed towards Miguel's mother. "Don't let her fool you, Ms. Galindo," the pediatric nurse told Dita before she uttered in a singing voice, "she loves me."
The older Galindo woman smiled as she watched the two women act like they never lost touch before she focused her dark eyes on the brunette. "Please, call me Dita like I've told you to do," the older woman told Victoria with a small chuckle as she had told Victoria to do so over four times since they met last night.
"Sorry," the Miller woman apologized sheepishly as she grabbed a loaf of bread from the kitchen island. "It's a force of habit," Victoria explained, "I'm used to talking to parents all day long." The Miller woman spoke mostly to emotional parents and other nurses or doctors, so Victoria was used to being polite and kind as a pediatric nurse.
"Ah, yes," Dita murmured as she remembered hearing about Victoria's career before she commented, "Miguel mentioned that you were a children's nurse." The older Galindo woman stared at Victoria with interest shining throughout her dark eyes before she curiously wondered, "how are you liking it?"
A soft but wide smile immediately pulled onto Victoria's face before she gushed as she prepared the first piece of french toast, "oh, I love it." The Miller woman made sure that the piece of bread wasn't going to burn before she looked up to Dita and continued, "it's so rewarding to take care of sick children and see them get better."
However, before Victoria could further talk about her job as a pediatric nurse, the Miller woman quickly took notice of Emily's crestfallen face from the mention of children, so Victoria quickly decided to change the direction of the conversation to keep Emily's mood in good spirits. "But, yeah," Victoria muttered as she lightly waved her hand before she told Dita as she flipped over the piece of french toast, "Emmie and I have always been attached at the hip."
The Miller woman added another piece of french toast to the pan as she stated, "we lost touch right after graduation but I'm so glad I ran into her the other week." Victoria looked up and shot her old best friend a small smile to show Emily that she truly meant that before the brunette woman softly murmured, "Emmie's a special girl."
The blonde Galindo woman couldn't help the small smile that played across her slightly chapped lips. It meant a lot to Emily, despite how she was currently feeling and everything that she was dealing with, to know that Victoria felt the same way that she did. "Thank you, V," the blonde woman softly murmured as she showed her praise for her childhood best friend.
"Of course. Anything for you," Victoria softly murmured back as she stared across at the blonde woman, "you know that." The Miller woman basically owed Emily her life from the blonde being there for her during her younger years. Victoria didn't know how she could have survived if she hadn't had Emily to help get her mind off of her troubles at home.
The Miller woman continued to stare across at her old friend with a soft gaze before she cleared her emotional throat and glanced away as she could feel her hazel irises begin to cloud like they always did when she thought about her past. "Alright," Victoria muttered as she shook her head and shook away those bad thoughts before she told the two women, "breakfast is served."
The pediatric nurse began to grab the plates but she could only use one arm at the moment so she only grabbed one of the three plates before she made her way towards the kitchen island. "Oh," the older Galindo woman gaped when she noticed Victoria struggling before she moved to stand as she uttered, "let me help you."
"No, please," Victoria quickly exclaimed before Dita could fully stand up as she stopped the older woman in her tracks. "I need to learn how to deal with this," the Miller woman explained as she glanced down to injured arm that was resting inside of a tight sling. Victoria glanced back up to the two Galindo women with a small smile before she continued, "besides, I'm a guest. Let me serve you guys."
The Miller woman wasn't going to take no for an answer so she didn't wait for Dita to agree or disagree as she placed one of the plates in front Emily before she made a couple of trips to grab the last two plates along with a cup of freshly chopped strawberries and a pitcher of warm syrup. It took at least five minutes of Victoria walking back and forth from the kitchen to the island before she finally took her seat beside the two Galindo women and uttered with a grin, "eat up."
The three women then immediately began to dig into their comforting breakfast that was made by the pediatric nurse with only the sound of Dita and Victoria getting to know one another ringing throughout the compound before the older Galindo woman volunteered to wash up the dishes once they had finished eating. Victoria didn't want to seem disrespectful, so the brunette woman silently agreed.
The Miller woman knew that she still had her duties of taking care of Emily and making sure she was doing okay, so while Dita got started on the dishes, Victoria silently grabbed ahold of the blonde woman's hand before she guided her up the staircase. "Let's get you into some fresh clothes," the pediatric nurse told her old friend as she knew getting dressed could help Emily's mood even if it was just by a little bit.
The blonde Galindo woman emotionlessly allowed Victoria to pull her all the way up the stairs before she silently slumped down onto hers and Miguel's king sized bed with fresh tears clouding her blue eyes as her mind was filled with nothing but thoughts of her sweet boy. "I miss him," Emily finally mumbled her first sentence ever since they had started eating breakfast.
Victoria's heart instantly broke at the sight of her old friend. She hated that this happened to Emily so she wanted the blonde to know that everything was going to okay. The Miller woman slowly bent down until she was eye level with Emily before she gave the Galindo woman's hand a tight squeeze as she promised, "we're going to find him." Victoria gave her childhood friend an assuring smile before she added to give Emily the confidence that she needed to make it through the day, "and I'm going to help in anyway I can, too."
The Miller woman waited until Emily silently nodded her head before Victoria gave the blonde woman's hand another squeeze. "Alright," Victoria murmured as she slowly pulled her injured self up into a standing position before she stated with a small grin playing on her lips, "let's get you into something cute."
The saddened Galindo woman released a loud puff of air at that request before she mumbled with a deep pout embedded on her face, "what's the point?" Emily honestly didn't see why she should even get out of bed when her son was currently missing. The last thing she wanted to do right now was to get all dolled up.
"Because," Victoria began in a singing voice before she explained as she prayed that it would give Emily the hope that she needed to believe that everything was going to work out, "you will want to look your best when you get to see your sunshine again." The Miller woman knew that getting dressed up when Emily's child was missing sounded like a stupid idea but it was the small things that would keep Emily in a high spirited mood and that was exactly what Emily needed right now during a difficult time.
Emily couldn't help but shake her head with an amused but tiny smile playing on her lips as she stared across at her old friend. "What happened to tomboy Victoria, who never gave a crap about dressing up?" The Galindo woman curiously wondered as she recalled that during their childhood, the brunette woman absolutely hated wearing dresses and skirts - except for when they would go to parties or when they had that dream of being ballerinas.
"She grew up," the Miller woman mumbled, mostly to herself, as she instantly remembered why she didn't dress up as a kid. It was another one of her bad childhood memories. Victoria didn't dress up when she was in her early teen years because of her father's associates that were always around and made her uncomfortable by sexualizing her.
"I didn't start dressing up until I got into college," the Miller woman quickly told Emily as she, once again, pushed away her childhood memories like she had been doing a lot lately. "It took me one trip to LA for me to realize that I love dresses," Victoria jokingly told the Galindo woman - which was partly true since it took her to go on a shopping spree, a birthday gift from Angel, for her to realize that she loved dressing up instead of always wearing tank tops and jeans all the time.
"Me too," Emily commented with a small chuckle as she remembered that she and Victoria were practically identical when it came to how they dressed when they were younger. "I think it was once I met Miguel that I wanted to start dressing up all the time," the Galindo woman explained to her old friend with a soft smile playing on her lips as she thought back to her college years and when she met the love of her life.
Victoria silently nodded her head to show that she was listening to the blonde woman as she grabbed a cute pink and black blouse along with a pair of black slacks from Emily's closet. The Miller woman walked back to her friend once she had the outfit ready before she jokingly told Emily, "I'm sure it had something to do with all that money he had."
The Galindo woman released a small chuckle before she lightly shrugged her shoulders and joked right back, "that's partly true."
The two women immediately fell into laughter together - even though they both were just joking around since Emily didn't care about Miguel's money and Victoria could see the love that the married couple shared with one another. It took a few minutes for the two women to calm down as it was something that the emotional blonde needed at the moment before Victoria exclaimed as she handed her friend her new outfit, "alright, let's get you showered and changed."
Emily couldn't help the loud groan that instantly slipped through her lips at the Miller woman's command. "Ugh, do I have to?" The Galindo woman complained as she honestly didn't feel like doing anything today. She just didn't feel like herself without her sunshine's giggles ringing throughout the compound.
"Yes, ma'am, you do," Victoria told her old friend as she pulled Emily up from the large and probably comfortable bed with her one good arm. "I'm taking care of you and you know the rules, you have to do what I say," the Miller woman reminded Emily of the promise that they made when they were kids. It had been like a game for them whenever Victoria had gotten a round of bruises from her father and his associates or Emily felt abandoned by her parents never being home. If either of them was sad, the other would do everything in their power to make each other feel better and the other couldn't disagree with any of it.
The Galindo woman released another loud groan as she recalled the rules of their childhood game. "Fine," Emily mumbled as she knew that she couldn't argue with the Miller woman or the punishment was a week's worth of laundry - but Emily wasn't sure if that rule still applied and she didn't want to find out. The blonde pointed her finger at the pediatric nurse before she exclaimed as she compromised, "but I want ice cream."
"A deal is a deal," the Miller woman exclaimed with a wide grin shining across face as she watched in amusement as Emily stomped her way into the master bedroom's bathroom. Victoria stood like that until she heard the shower start up before she took a seat on the king sized bed with a heavy sigh and instantly lost her smile. The Miller woman felt relieved that she could drop her strong act for a few minutes.
Victoria was absolutely exhausted - thanks to her lovely injures from the rebels - but she had kept up this strong front so she could be there for Emily as her friend as Victoria knew that the blonde needed someone in her corner right now while Miguel was trying to find their son. The Miller woman would rather suffer herself, though, instead of Emily, so she was willing to suck it up while she helped the Galindo woman feel better during a difficult time. It's just how she always has been for the people who she cared about.
It took about twenty minutes of Victoria resting on the comfortable king sized bed before the Galindo woman walked out of the bathroom dressed in a pair of fresh clothes. The Miller woman kept her promise to Miguel as she took care of Emily and made sure that she was okay like how Emily used to do for her when she would show up at the Thomas house covered in bruises after a session with her father and his associates.
Victoria made sure that the Galindo woman was never alone or lost too much into her thoughts. Victoria also made sure that Emily ate throughout the day and went outside every now and again for some fresh air so she wasn't anxious by being stuck in the house all day. The Miller woman, in addition, kept to her promise about getting Emily ice cream by asking one of Miguel's personal bodyguards to run to their childhood ice cream parlor to get them a pint of chocolate chip. Victoria thought it had been a very successful day with the Galindo woman only have cried three separate times.
The two old friends were now settled in the living room of the Galindo compound with a bottle of red wine settled between them as they watched a classic comedy movie - The Hangover - to round out the day. However, the calmness and the laughter between the two women was soon interrupted about half way into the movie when the front door of the compound was pushed open and two pairs of dress shoes loudly clanked against the marble flooring.
The Miller woman and the Galindo woman immediately turned around on the couch at the sound of someone's arrival before they spotted Miguel and Nestor finally arriving back at the compound after being gone all day. Emily was the first one to move as the four of them basically had a stare off as she swiftly jumped up from the couch and hurriedly asked her husband, "did you find anything? Do you know where Cristobal is? Have you found him?"
However, Emily didn't get the answers that she had been hoping for. Instead, Miguel stared into his wife's erratic blue irises for a moment before he placed a loving kiss onto Emily's forehead. "Let's go to bed," the Galindo man murmured against his wife's temple.
"No!" Emily immediately shouted as she pushed as hard as she could against her husband's chest. "I want to know where my son is!" The Galindo woman shouted as she was tired of being out of the loop when all she wanted was her son back in her arms.
"Emily," the Galindo man uttered in a warning tone before he commanded, "you need to calm down right now." Miguel couldn't handle his wife's yelling tonight. He was extremely exhausted from his day of dealing with the Mayans and still not anywhere near to finding about his son's whereabouts. Miguel just wanted to have his wife in his arms while he prayed that Cristobal would be with him tomorrow.
However, Miguel didn't get his wish, though, for a relaxing night with his wife as Emily just continued to yell and shout about all of her hidden emotions. The Galindo man was quite frustrated as well, so Miguel didn't hold back like he usually would when it came to his wife. The married couple went back and forth between one another as they both said equally hurtful things as they tried to cope with the lost of their missing son.
The Oceteva man had immediately noticed the tension in Miguel's back and knew that there was going to be a screaming match from his experience with the Galindo couple from over the years. Nestor knew his best friend liked to solve his family matters in private, so he walked up to Victoria and lightly grabbed ahold of her good arm. "Come on," Nestor murmured into the brunette woman's ear before he stated, "I'll give you a ride home."
The Miller woman looked up at Nestor with a deep frown as she didn't want to leave Emily like this encase the blonde would need her. "But I want to help," Victoria argued in a mumble.
"I know you do," Nestor softly murmured as he gently pulled the brunette woman with him as he headed to the front door of the Galindo compound. "But there's not much that you can do for the rest of the night," the Oceteva man continued to explain why it was a good idea for them to leave before Nestor added to his point, "besides, Miguel and Emily probably need to talk."
Victoria released a small sigh as she nodded her head in agreement before she mumbled, "okay." The brunette woman knew Nestor was right by the look of things between the married couple by how tense the atmosphere is. Victoria may not be married but she knew that Miguel and Emily needed to talk since they haven't even done so since their son was taken by the rebels.
The Oceteva man and the Miller woman silently walked together towards Nestor's black vehicle with their hands locked together - which happened subconsciously as they walked side by side. Nestor then helped Victoria into his car and made sure that she was buckled up before he quickly rounded the vehicle and they rode away from the Galindo compound.
The black SUV was silent for about ten minutes in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere as the Oceteva man drove through Santo Padre before the tranquility was interrupted when Victoria's turned her hazel irises onto the cartel assassin. "Did I help any today?" The Miller woman curiously wondered as she had hoped that the information that she gave Miguel had helped in someway in finding his son.
Nestor nodded his head as he kept his brown irises locked onto the busy street in front of him before he informed the pediatric nurse, "we found the station wagon on the highway, abandoned, this afternoon." The Oceteva man released a small chuckle before he continued as he stated, "actually, the Stanford kid found it."
The Miller woman couldn't help but release her own chuckle as she shook her head in amusement. "Of course he did," Victoria muttered with a small smile playing on her lips. The pediatric nurse wouldn't expect anything less from Ezekiel. He had always been that smart and curious person all their lives, so she didn't find it surprising by how well Ezekiel fitted with the Mayans.
"Well," Victoria began as she lightly turned her body to the side so she was staring at Nestor's relaxed face. "What did you find in the car?" The Miller woman wondered as she focused back onto the main topic of what happened today and how she had helped the Galindo cartel.
"No rebels," Nestor stated before he shrugged his shoulders and added, "but that was to be expected." The Oceteva man silently turned off Main street as he continued towards the pediatric nurse's home before Nestor stated, "but we did end up getting a lead for some dog shelter."
"Wonderland," Victoria immediately commented as she knew exactly what place that the Oceteva man was talking about. The brunette woman had been there quite a lot. Victoria couldn't even count on her two hands how many times during her childhood that she overhead her father's phone calls from her mother's fellow associates at the strip club that she was at the dog shelter recovering from an overdose.
"Yeah, that's right," the Oceteva man uttered as he nodded his head. "We didn't find much, though," Nestor commented with a small shrug of shoulders as he decided to not mention the dirty work that he did for Miguel while at the dog shelter. Nestor didn't feel it was necessary to tell the pediatric nurse about that or because Nestor just didn't want to ruin this friendship that he had with Victoria and he didn't want to scare her off with what he does for Miguel.
The Oceteva man took a quick glance away from the road as he shot the Miller woman an amused smirk before he focused on his driving. "But," Nestor began before he stated, "I did get a punch in the face by your boy." The cartel assassin couldn't even try to hide his amusement of what happened at the animal shelter. Nestor found it absolutely hilarious how fast the older Reyes could get annoyed.
Victoria's hazel eyes immediately widened at Nestor's words as she gaped in surprise. "Angel?" The Miller woman questioned before she quickly apologized when Nestor nodded his head, "Jesus Christ. I'm really sorry about that, Nestor." The pediatric nurse couldn't help but to furrow her brows as she wondered, "what even happened?" Yeah, Victoria knew that Angel could have quite a temper but she didn't think he would just punch someone in the face.
"It was just a small misunderstanding," Nestor explained with a small shrug of his shoulders. It wasn't a total lie, either. There had been a misunderstanding at the animal shelter that got out of hand between the Mayans and the Galindo cartel. But Nestor decided to not mention that he had mentioned her name to the older Reyes which resulted in a very pissed off and jealous Angel.
"Still," the Miller woman mumbled with a slight pout to her face before she apologized, once again, "I'm sorry about him." Victoria shook her head with a small chuckle before she joked, "I don't think you guys and I will ever be having dinner together." The brunette woman knew from the start of this new friendship with Nestor, that he and Angel would never become buddy-buddy with each other but she knew that was definitely out the window now after they literally got physical with one another.
The Oceteva man released a heavy and amused laughter - something he used to only do around Miguel but now Victoria was added to it since he felt so comfortable with the brunette woman like he could be himself. "I don't think he'd like that very much," Nestor commented after a moment as he shook his head in amusement.
"And why do you say that?" Victoria wondered as she stared at the side of Nestor's calm and relaxed face. The Miller woman wasn't stupid or oblivious when it came to the beef between the Mayans and the Galindo cartel so she knew it was obvious why Nestor and Angel would never be friends but she just wanted to know what Nestor thought about the older Reyes brother.
"He seems like the jealous type," Nestor uttered his opinion on the Mayan as he took a quick glance into the brunette woman's hazel irises. The Oceteva man shot Victoria a small smile before he focused back onto the road he murmured with a small smirk playing on his lips, "besides, I don't think he'd like it very much if he knew I've been taking up his girl's time."
The Miller woman couldn't help to immediately blush at Nestor's words. Victoria avoided the Oceteva man's gaze like she always did when she would turn red before she quietly mumbled, "you're probably right." Victoria completely knew Nestor was right, though. She had experienced protective Angel basically all her life. However, the brunette woman wasn't sure why she blushed. She was used to people calling her 'Angel's girl' ever since they started their relationship, so she didn't know why it affected her when Nestor said it.
I'm too exhausted to psychoanalyze my relationships right now, Victoria thought as she mentally shook her head and rested the right side of her body against the cool car door of Nestor's black SUV. The Miller woman didn't know how many times since she had met that Nestor that she had thought about her seemingly normal relationship with Angel. The pediatric nurse found it annoying that she kept doing that. Victoria guessed it was because another man was showing interest in her life...
A wide smirk was proudly placed across the head of security for the Galindo cartel's face as he watched the hue of red brighten up Victoria's tan cheeks along with the different emotions showing across her figure. Nestor just found it so amusing by how red he could get the Miller woman to turn. However, Nestor decided to not tease Victoria about it right now as he knew that she had a long day.
Instead, the Oceteva man and the Miller woman sat together in a comfortable silence as they drove through Santo Padre for a few minutes before Nestor slowly pulled in front of Victoria's driveway. "Here we are," Nestor murmured as he parked his black SUV and slightly turned his body so he was now looking at the brunette woman.
The Miller woman's hazel irises immediately widened in surprise when she looked out the window and saw her familiar home. Victoria found herself having a lot of these moments where she would just lose track of time whenever she was around Nestor. She just found his presence so relaxing from her crazy life with taking care of ill children and her night job of taking care of the Mayans. Nestor was like that middle, the in between, in her life and Victoria couldn't help but cherish every moment that she had with the braided man.
"Thank you," the Miller woman softly told Nestor as she glanced over to him with a shy and embarrassed smile as she knew he had caught her moment of surprise - like he always does. Victoria released an awkward chuckle when Nestor only smirked at her before she quickly faced the door and opened it with her good arm so she could get out of this embarrassing moment.
Victoria was expecting a few things for what Nestor would do like drive away or say goodbye but what she definitely wasn't expecting was for the cartel assassin to meet her around the black SUV with a soft smile shining across his usually hard face.
The Oceteva man stood only a few inches away from Victoria as he stared deeply into her hazel irises for a few moments of tranquility before he brought his rough hand up and gently placed it onto the brunette woman's smooth cheek. Nestor rubbed the pad of his thumb gently against the Miller woman's skin before he softly whispered, "be safe."
Nestor barely even got the words out of his mouth before he swiftly forced his hand away from the Miller woman's cheek and walked back into his black SUV. The Oceteva man didn't even spare Victoria another look before he was pulling out of the driveway and heading back to the Galindo compound. Nestor didn't know why but he felt like he had to protect Victoria. He didn't know if it was because she was someone special to Emily, his best friend's wife, or because he enjoyed her company - but Nestor swore as he tightened his hands around the leather steering wheel that he was going to make sure nothing like last night happened ever again to the brunette woman.
Victoria couldn't help but to bite down on her bottom lip as she watched the black SUV speed away from her. The Miller woman didn't know how she felt about Nestor's soft words. It was only two words but it still had a lot of meaning behind them. Victoria didn't know much about Nestor but she did know those two words held worry or care for her. Victoria couldn't help but to smile a tiny grin at the fact that Nestor cared for her because she could feel herself feeling the same way during the short time that they had talked.
However, though, the thought of who Nestor was caused for a frown to pull onto Victoria's face. The Miller woman knew this was just another can of worms since Nestor worked for the Galindo cartel and she's involved with someone in the Mayans. Victoria knew Angel would never be okay with this friendship. He doesn't own you, Victoria reminded herself with a sigh as she walked up to her front door. Victoria couldn't help but release a heavy groan as she knew that she was playing with fire right now.
The Miller woman felt like everything was just piling up on each other in such short amount of time and Victoria absolutely hated that she was lying to her best friend. Victoria was keeping all these secrets from Angel like where she has been, the dinner with the Galindo cartel, and, of course, her injuries. Victoria was never one to lie to her loved ones so it was killing her to do so. However, Victoria knew it would just cause more problems and she knew Angel didn't need that right now with how stressful he always sounded when he spoke about the club. I'm protecting him, Victoria told herself as she tried to find a reason to why she was lying to Angel.
"Ugh," Victoria groaned as she could feel a splitting headache coming on from all of these running thoughts. The Miller woman shook her head as she closed the front door behind her before she placed her body against the large wooden door with a heavy and exhausted sigh. Victoria knew this was just only the beginning.
Victoria hated that she putting herself in the middle of all the cartel and Mayan business but she swore that she would help Emily. The Miller woman was going to help in anyway that she could in finding the Galindo prince - even though she knew it was completely dangerous along with the fact that it would be another lie to Angel.
"Fuck," Victoria swore as she closed her hazel irises and leaned her head back against the front door as she felt her headache getting worse. The Miller woman shook her head as she released another sigh as her mind was running a mile a minute. "I need sleep for a few hours... or a few days," Victoria mumbled to herself before she zombie walked to her bedroom to get some much needed rest from everything that has happened in the last twenty-four hours.
Mi Alma - Part Five
A few years ago, Miguel, Lina, Nestor, and you were laughing together in a restaurant in Florence, Italy. Back then, you thought you would have many other happy moments with them. But then everything changed - was it for the worse, or for the best?
Love, Murder, Friendship, and Trust.
Mi Alma, a story with Miguel Galindo, Nestor Oceteva, Lina Brayer (OC) and Aurélie „Elie“ Gaillard (OC)
Part One | Part Two | Part Three | Part Four | Part Five
Warning: smut
Words: 1983
London, UK – Present
As soon as you open your front door, you see Nestor jumping from your sofa and walking toward you. Without saying anything or giving you the chance to walk away, he kisses you passionately. You take a few seconds to process before kissing him back. His reaction and his words are still hurting, but you also really missed the feeling of his lips and his arms around you. This kiss leaves you breathless, and when he pulls you in his arms, you are burying your face in his chest.
"I'm sorry, Mi Alma. I'm sorry for not believing in you. I'm sorry for thinking that you were playing with me. And I'm sorry for comparing you to Lina. Miguel explained to me why he was here as soon as you left!" he says while tightly his hold on you.
"It was 3 weeks ago, Nes ..." you say while trying to pull away to look at him.
"Yeah, I know ..." He whispers while letting you step back a little. His hands are still holding your waist, ready to pull you back if you decide to reject him.
"So why did you not come sooner?"
"I struggled a bit to process the fact that Miguel could have a Female friend."
You couldn't help yourself but smile at that statement. When Nestor sees it, he leans again to kiss you. It's a lot softer than earlier. He knows you enough to understand that you will not reject him now.
The alarm of your oven interrupts you to signal that the diner that Nestor prepared is ready. While he is dressing the plates, you open a bottle of wine and pour some into two glasses before placing them on your dining table.
As soon as the diner is finished, you basically jump on him. He catches you without any effort and takes you to the bedroom. You strip each other of your clothes. He sits against the head of the bed and pulls you on top. He grabs the back of your head to bring it toward him and kiss you with such a force that you know your lips are going to be swollen tomorrow.
You try to roll, but he holds you tight and whispers: "Ride me."
You grab his hard member and slide down, taking all of him inside of you. A moan escapes your both months at the same time. He seems bigger than you remember, and you have to stay still to get used to the feeling.
Seeing you almost in pain, Nestor cups your cheek and make you look at him.
"Maybe we should do a bit more of foreplays next time," you say softly while kissing his hand.
He was about to say something when you start to move your hips in circles. The feeling makes him pull his head back immediately.
You now bounce on him, his hands running on your thighs until they reach your ass and give you a small spank. You moan at the feeling and close your eyes. He gives you a harder one, and you fall back on him.
"You like that?" He asks you while placing his arms around your waist to hold you tight. He doesn't give you a chance to reply and start to thrust deeper and faster into you. You come almost at the same time, screaming each other names.
----
It is now eight months that you and Nestor are together. Most of the time, you see each other in your apartment, but he manages to organize a few weekends in remote places in Europe. Even if it's not like if the location matters really.
You spent more and more time on foreplays, and you could stay hours in bed with your man. You lost track of the number of beard burns you had between your thighs or bit marks on your chest. You also discover that he is your favorite flavor, and scratching his lower stomach with your nails will always make him twitch deep inside your throat.
You never spoke about it, but he was already keeping your connection as secret as possible before, so nothing change at that level. Therefore, all the marks you leave on each other bodies have to be in hidden places. You both became really good at that and you are fine with it: you couldn't really go to work with prints of his fingers around your throat. Your waist, was much more discreet.
You were about to enter a meeting still thinking about that when you see an incoming call from a hidden number. As soon as you answer, you smile like a teenager when you recognize the voice.
"Can you take a few days off?"
"Are you organizing another nice weekend?" you ask him playfully.
"He needs you." the seriousness in his voice combined with his words make you shiver.
"I will take the first plane in the morning."
After almost a 20-hour journey, you finally reach Miguel's home. You came several times, and even if he always make sure that you feel comfortable, you are still a bit intimated with its size.
Nestor welcomes you at the door and gives you a quick kiss on the corner of your lips. The gestor will typically make you smile, but you can feel that he is tense and looks tired.
"What wrong?" you ask him while taking his hand and giving it a quick squeeze before releasing him. You know most house employees are somehow already aware of your relationship with him, but you also noticed several bikes.
"It's business-related, so I can't give you all the details. He is furious, and none of us can approach him."
"Us?" you interrogate him while following him inside the house toward two men that you never met before.
"This is Marcus, his new advisor, and Bishop, a business partner."
"Nice to meet you, I'm..." Before you have the chance to answer, you hear a loud sound behind the door following by Miguel's voice. You instantly go to the door and enter the room.
"What the fuck are you doing?! I ask that nobody disturb me!" he screams while slapping his hands on his desk.
"Miguel?" you say with a soft voice. When he sees you, he just crashes into his office chair behind him. Any other person over than you will have probably spent a very painful moment for disturbing him, but not you. You are his safe place. You immediately go to him and drop on your knees in front of him. You are putting your hands on his thighs before saying still with your soft voice: "What happen?"
"Elie ... I can't speak about it with you," he tells you while robbing his face with both hands before looking down at you.
"I know, but you can speak with the people standing on the other side of this door. You choose them to be around you, which means that you trusted them and their abilities to do business with you. Is it not the case anymore?"
His features soften at your words. You never push him to tell you about his "job," and you always trusted him. You proved it a few months after what happen in Morocco, in this room.
Gently placing back a lock of your hair behind your ear, he pulls you a bit toward him before leaning down to you and kissing the tip of your nose.
"Thank you."
"That's what friends are for," you say with a smile on your face.
"Yeah ..." he replies while looking at your hands still on his thighs and giving you a wink.
You laugh a bit shily before removing them and standing up. There was never any real sexual tension between Miguel and you; you just happen to be two extremely touchy people. But that doesn't mean that Miguel was not playing with it from time to time, and you have to admit that your hands were a bit too high on his thighs.
After making sure that he was presentable, you ask him if he is ready before opening the door.
"Marcus, come in," Miguels says as soon as you leave the room.
Once the door closes behind Marcus, Nestor comes to you and asks you if you already ate something today.
"Just my usual liter of coffee," you reply with an innocent smile on your face. He breath deeply while shaking his head before bringing you to the kitchen to prepare you a sandwich. As much as he hates when you replace food with coffee, you love when he prepare you something to eat.
"Don't think I didn't notice the bruises," you say pointing at his head and hands. As you say that, you can hear a laugh behind, and when you turn, you notice that the man has some matching ones. Your eyes meet for a moment, and he stops laughing almost immediately.
Bishop walks to you and shakes your hand before saying: "I'm not sure who you are but thank you. It was quite impressive that you manage to calm him so quickly."
"Yeah, she tends to do that," says Nestor while putting the sandwich in front of you. He robs your back discretely so Bishop can't see it and asks you to eat.
You thank him, but before you had the time to say anything else, Nestor asks him to follow him. They go a bit further away to discuss, so you take your phone to check your emails. That was one of your job's advantages, as long as you had an internet connection, you could work from everywhere in the world.
Felling someone looking at you, you check around you and see the man from earlier staring at you. Tall, with tattooed arms, dark hair, and a thick beard, he is a good looking guy, this you have to admit. But you don't know whether you want to hug him or punch him. You see him take a step toward you when Miguel and Marcus get out of the office. They both start giving orders to everyone, and soon after, there is just you, Miguel, Nestor, and Marcus left in the house.
"Marcus, let me properly introduce you to Aurélie. She is one of our dearest friends. Aurélie, Marcus is my new adviser."
"Aurélie? That's an unusual name. Nice to meet you." says Marcus before giving you a quick kiss on both cheeks.
"It's French. Nice to meet you too, Marcus," you reply. You like him; he seems calm and gives you a fatherly feeling.
"How long are you staying?" asks Miguel
"I actually didn't book any return ticket, so I'm not sure yet."
"Well, you know you can stay for as long as you want and use the studio to work."
The rest of the evening is just doing some small talk, but you just want to go to bed with Nestor. You understand he needed to be distant while the other men were still there, but now it's only the four of you. Unfortunately, they still have to speak about some business topic, so you excuse yourself and go to your bedroom. It's not really yours, but you always sleep in this one ever since the first time.
