Secondo giro a controllare i nidi delle folaghe e dei cigni nel Parco dell’Adda nord.

Mi sono recato in loco fornito di una “nuova” lente, il Vivitar 200mm f 3,5, un obiettivo tutto manuale degli anni in cui si fotografava a pellicola. Necessitavo di avvicinarmi il più possibile ai nidi senza disturbarne gli occupanti, e questa lente - scovata per caso su ebay - a sessanta euro mi cascava a fagiolo. 

Solo successivamente ne ho controllato quelle poche recensioni disponibili on line, ricavandone opinioni contrastanti. Se da un lato qualcuno ne sottolineava le buone doti di micro-contrasto e cromie, altri ne evidenziavano il gran peso, la lunga distanza minima di messa a fuoco, ma soprattutto le lenti senza particolari trattamenti anti distorsioni cromatiche, che la rendono particolarmente soggetta a forti color fringing.

Così, mi sono recato al Parco Adda nord con qualche preoccupazione, ma già ho potuto fugarle non appena aperto i file al computer, a casa. Tutto vero, insomma: non è buona idea usare questa lente a diaframmi aperti (sotto f 5,6 cioé) su soggetti direttamente illuminati dal sole. Ciò restituisce soggetti totalmente ricoperti da aloni colorati, viola, verdi, blu o marroncini. Tanto che nemmeno gli strumenti di correzioni presenti su LightRoom e Photoshop riescono a eliminare del tutto queste fastidiose cromie alterate. Ho però appreso come utilizzando il Vivitar 200mm fra i diaframmi f 6,3 e f 11, si possono avere comunque buoni risultati (a patto di sapere mettere a fuoco in manuale, ovviamente).

Per risolvere l’inconveniente della lunga distanza minima di messa a fuoco mi sono fornito di un set di tubi di estensione macro, i quali servono proprio ad accorciare la distanza minima di messa a fuoco. Così che mi sono potuto dedicare anche a qualche esperimento di close up a mano libera (nonostante il gran peso dell’obiettivo), con risultati interessanti. Sicuramente ripetendo l’esperienza, fornito di treppiede, potrò fare di meglio, inoltre darsi alla macro con un 300mm di focale equivalente, è davvero divertente.

alla fine i pulcini di cigno, che cercavo particolarmente, li ho trovati ancora a riposare nei loro gusci. Beh, poco male, vorrà dire che dovrò tornare di nuovo, in riva all’Adda, non appena viene fuori una giornata asciutta!

L’ultima vista che ho fatto alle nidiate sull’Adda, nel Parco Adda nord, ho trovato con mia sorpresa la famiglia dei cigni che aveva nidificato vicino a uno dei ristoranti dell’alzaia che conduce alla Centrale Taccani, non nel nido, non impegnati in una cenetta fluviale, no, erano sul prato accanto alla strada - con ogni probabilità attirati lì dalla varia umanità che si era riunita per vedere i nuovi arrivati, tirando loro pezzi di pane. 

Solo che il selciato, dove passano umani - magari accompagnati da cani - ma ove passano anche da mezzi a motore, non è esattamente il luogo più adatto per passeggiare, né per i cigni adulti e men che meno per i loro soffici pargoli. 

Fortunatamente, uno dei genitori ha a un certo punto deciso che di umanità la loro famiglia ne aveva avuto abbastanza: ha raccolto i piccoli e li ha condotti ove più a loro compete. Fra le acque del fiume.

Insomma, tutto è bene quel che finisce bene.
