Here’s the latest Stemae, featured in my previous video.

Stemotl (Chroma): While Stemotls are not native to this region, they have been popular in research worldwide for their regenerative abilities. Researchers predict there is a way to reverse Stemotl's morphing process; however the process is still being studied.

Neurotl (Chroma/Neura): The covers on Neurotl's body are smaller when the Neurotl is unwell, causing them to have slower movement. Neurotls can communicate with others through the electrical shocks they send out of their tail.

Myotl (Chroma/Forta): Fully relaxed Myotl arms can stretch out to be pretty long; however some parts are usually contracted. Myotls can understand the secret messages Neurotls communicate through the Neurotls' tails.

Dermotl (Chroma/Phasma): Dermotl's wings are grown from Dermotl's body and they have to be replenished as parts of the wing shed off over time. Dermotls sometimes rip-off their cloaks to protect younger Stemotls.

Osteotl (Chroma/Metalla): Osteotls can make a sturdy home for themselves by spitting out and forming a bone matrix which they can reabsorb if needed. Some reports claim seeing a Myotl throw an Osteotl at an enemy to deter them with Osteotl's spines.

Adipotl (Chroma/Toxa): The sticky covers on Adipotl allow them to stick to each other and various surfaces to block certain passageways. Adipotls can use their storage to generate heat in cold climates, welcoming Stemotls to huddle around them.

Prompt 20 - Nerve

The interview room was cold, dark, and smelled suspiciously like bad cleaned-up urine. They’d been sitting in there for hours while Sirius and Barty went over everything they knew, and there was a lot. More than they’d been able to tell Remus in that short amount of time they’d had. 

Sirius had refused outright to have anything with his actual name on it, so Moody had told them to come up with aliases that he would use on anything official while he and Shacklebolt built a case against Sirius’s parents. Sirius picked Padfoot, a nickname Regulus had given him when they were children, because of how quietly Sirius was able to sneak around, but one that his parents had never heard before. Sirius chose Remus’s for him when he couldn’t come up with anything when prompted. Moony, because Sirius had been looking at the moon when Remus had come out into the alley the first night they'd met. Sirius had whispered in Remus’s ear so only he could hear that it was also because Remus was his moon to Sirius’s star and when he looked up in the sky to pick out his and Regulus’s stars, Remus would always be there, shining away with them. It had been such a Sirius thing to pick that Remus didn’t protest at all about the sweet nickname. Barty, on the other hand, tried to use Batman as his alias. 

“Nope, choose something else,” Moody barked, as he scribbled down Sirius and Remus’s codenames. 

“Fine, Riddler,” Barty countered. 

“Stop using Batman characters, or I’ll pick something for you, and you won’t like it,” Barty curled his lip mockingly before he looked up to the ceiling, thinking about what name to use. “Got it!" He chirped excitedly, slamming his hands down onto the metal table. "The Doctor!”  

“Informant number 3 it is,” Moody scribbled the name down. 

“What, no, come on, I want something cool,” Barty protested. 

“Informant number 3,” Moody reiterated, and Remus could tell there would be no changing his mind now; Barty had got on his last nerve and this was his punishment. Barty slumped in his chair and sulked while Moody and Shacklebolt went over everything they had and attempted to get it on order. 

“Right, lads, I think we’ve got enough to go on to start building a case. What we need out of you now is not to bring any attention to yourselves. Don’t mention any of this to anyone. Don’t hint at anything to Mr and Mrs Black or anyone in their acquaintance. You will put this case in jeopardy if you do,” Moody warned them. The three of them nodded in understanding and Moony, Padfoot and Informant number 3 left the police station. 

The day had entirely slipped away while they'd been in that windowless room and the moon was peaking over the tops of the police station. 

“I’m starving,” Barty declared. “Anyone fancy a kebab?”
