Been thinking about this real hard, and if I had to construct this in my mind, now all of you have to!
You know the headcanon that Ging is Gon’s only parent because he was probably made using the greed island rock card that if you hold it long enough it gives you a baby? And Gon was probably made as Ging tested out if this card worked, which was why Gon was in Greed Island in Ging’s arms and he was the first person Gon met?
Doesn’t this mean Gon is a nen beast in that headcannon which explains his crazy good stamina, strength, enhanced olfactory senses, and boundless nen energy?
IDK maybe Im just rambling nonsense now, but anyway, au where Gon is a nen beast and never knew.

It kind of bothers me that it didn't really get brought up that the cards Had to be turned over & how that should've put the power (at least some!) in the hands of the group. Like yes he could kill them at any moment, but it would literally just be bad for him if he did because he wouldn't get the cards...... Which is why he's doing all that in the first place..... His only angle is that people generally are afraid to die & granted it's a pretty good one but it's also boring to me. I just don't fw this guy

THIS. I know we’re all freaked out by tserriednich for being an evil genius with two nen beasts and a reality-warping power, but nen is so flexible! there’s not a nen ability in the world that’s invulnerable. 4′s vision ability is powerful in interpersonal interactions and direct combat, but kurapika can extract and share powers, abilities like tubeppa’s create drugs (including poisons, presumably), and there are plenty of slow-acting or remote nen attacks that aren’t immediately noticeable to people they affect or can even be avoided after certain conditions are met - conditions that even geniuses may not immediately recgonize. for example, we’ve seen that forcing someone into zetsu isn’t the only way to immobilize them, and there are characters on the ship right now who can steal abilities, removing the from the original user permanently. four is absolutely going to be a monster to defeat, but he’s not invincible and we know already his ability doesn’t make him omnipotent
