hello! this is for the headcanons to drabbles event.

this is a demon slayer ask with characters nezuko/tanjiro.

I have a headcanon that nezuko tickles tanjiro almost daily, either to cheer him up, get him to chill out, or simply mess with him.

of course, he’s a big brother so if he’s not too tired he’ll get her back 2x worse, but makes sure not to go too far because he’s tanjiro kamado and he’s the kindest most understanding person in all of anime.

MY HEART!!! This is so freaking wholesome AH! I've gotcha covered, anon! :) Decided to add Zenitsu to the mix because why not?

“Mm?” Nezuko’s muffled concern earned her brother’s attention. “Hm? Oh, I’m alright, Nezuko.” He smiled, reaching out and patting her head gently. Despite his claim, there was a clear shadow in his eyes, weakening his smile and only making the demon girl more upset.

“Are you sure, Tanjiro? You don’t look okay.” Zenitsu spoke up from his other side, voice careful. He lowered his voice as he spoke. “You were crying in your sleep.”

“Oh…I’m sorry, did I keep you up?” Tanjiro laughed weakly, seeming to grow more and more sad by the minute. “I didn’t even realize I was doing it.”

Zenitsu let out a short breath, brows furrowing. He and Nezuko met eyes. “Shall we?” He asked. She nodded.

“Guys? Wait- what are you do-ohohohoohohohohing?” Tanjiro yelped as he was pushed over, Nezuko and Zenitsu quickly climbing upon him. Twenty fingers found his torso, pushing past his haori and making him squirm and giggle helplessly. “Cohoohoohme ohohoohohohn, Neehehheheehzuko! Zehhehehehhehenitsuhuuhuuuhuhu!”

“Aww, look at that! He’s smiling!” Zenitsu pulled away and held up his hands to the girl, grinning. “Way to go Nezuko!”

“Mm!” She cheered, high fiving the other, letting their fingers fold into one another and watching curiously as the blonde blushed scarlet.

“Ohohoo…did yohohou two rehehally think it would be that easy?” Tanjiro’s voice carried a dangerous note that made both Zenitsu and Nekuzo freeze, turning wide eyed as the brunette sat up. “Wait! Tanjiro!” Zenitsu began, Nezuko making muffled noises of surprise.

“Wait nothing! Take THIS!” Tanjiro roared, tackling both into the matts as his fingers found their tickle spots, grinning as they burst into laughter. “Thought you could take on the greatest tickle monster of the taisho era, huh?”

“Taahahhhahahhahahahanjihihiiihihro!” Zenitsu cackled, flailing to and from beneath the other. Nezuko covered her face with her hands, muffled giggles and squeals escaping her lips as she gently hid against his shoulder.

“Hehe, prepare to suffer at the hands of Tanjiro Kamado!” He laughed along with them, heart filling up with each new sound.
