Hikaru= el típico chico popular deportista de la escuela que todas las chicas se mueren por el(pueeessss en realidad lo cree cuando apenas estaba entrando al anime~ y me parecía “cool” pero ahora me resulta cliché y tedioso)

Kanji= la chica depresiva que esconde todos sus sentimientos! (Pues técnicamente acertaron pero no la hice depre, solo que no se expresa)

Winter= el que lo pisotean y tienen que venirlo a salvar, el muy tímido sumiso(pos yuki es el que lo salva así que Maso XD)

Yume= El hermano kawai y chico alegre que todos quieren tener pero que nadie tiene (XDXDXD yo diría que si)

Yumi= la hermana menor que se la pasa detrás de su hermano diciendo “onii-chan”(no tiene hermanos a parte de los otros shipchilds de manía x Orion pero yo diría que es algo así, debo hacerle un rediseño)

Hanī= la chica dulce y tranquila de ensueño que todos los chic@s quieren que es comprensiva y es la mejor amiga del personaje principal(siendo sincera esta es una de las más cercanas a la realidad XD)

Xia xi= la chica ruda que es capaz de matar a quien se le acerque pero que tiene una lucha interior y que cuando la conoces no es mala(pues en si ella incluso cuando la conoces no cambia, solo que ya las probabilidades de que te mate son menores)

Noa= el chico tsundere que ignora completamente a las chicas y que intenta mostrarse más afectivo con la que le gusta(ni cerca, lo único es que ignora a todas las chicas con intenciones malas, aunque es Cortez al alejarlas, pero no es tsundere solo neutro)

Marea(TT)= la yandere que se ve dulce y amable pero que es el demonio en persona, y es capaz de hacer lo que sea para conseguir lo que quiere(siendo sincera acertaron en casi todo XD excepto por lo de yandere, mata pero no por amor)

Uttuki= la chica loca por otras culturas que se cree de otro país y habla en otros idiomas(se equivocaron en todo ==U )

C1PH3R= los gemelos extraños que todos le tienen miedo porque aparecen y desaparecen cuando menos se lo esperan(tipo las gemelas de FNAFHS xd aunque no se equivocaron del todo)

Sunset= la waifu chichona que liga a todos y con solo lanzar una mirada hace que los chicos sangren por la nariz(esta me dio risa XD porque me la imaginé pero nope! No es así)

Forêt= la chica casi humana, que es una neko, se la pasa sonriendo, y es la rayito de sol del grupo que le ve lo positivo a todo y nunca esta molesta pero cuando se molesta es el fin del mundo(en realidad no se equivocaron del todo pero un poco xd)

Literally Tao #6: Be Simple and Let Go

Sepanjang sejarah peradaban, kita bisa melihat berbagai macam usaha pembangunan yang dilakukan untuk menunjukkan supremasi manusia atas alam. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan arus perdagangan, ilmu pengetahuan dan filsafat, seni budaya, dan kekuatan militer yang dahsyat. Namun, hampir setiap zaman keemasan suatu peradaban diikuti oleh kekacauan politik atau keruntuhan sistem ekonomi yang dramatis. Hilangnya Dao dari jajaran kepemimpinan (leadership) merupakan terdakwa utama drama-drama menyedihkan ini. Beberapa kegagalan kemasyarakatan tersebut terjadi karena ia tidak memiliki pemahaman cukup soal manajemen tatanan sosial seperti yang tertulis dalam DDJ Ch. 3:

不貴難得之貨  、 使民不為盜 bù guì nándé zhī huò, shǐ mín bù wéi dào 不見可欲 、使民心不亂 bùjiàn kě yù, shǐ mínxīn bù luàn

‘bu’ adalah partikel negasi; ‘shi’ artinya ‘buat’/’bikin’; ‘min’ artinya ‘masyarakat’. Kalimat ini memiliki struktur dasar  “ 不 A ,  使民不 B” yang maknanya “tidak A, membuat rakyat tidak B”. Mari kita telisik artinya satu-persatu. Mulai baris pertama: ‘gui’ artinya ‘mahal’/‘eksklusif’; ‘nan’ itu ‘susah’/’sulit’; ‘huo’ adalah ‘benda’; ‘dao’ bermakna ‘berkelahi untuk rebutan’. Baris kedua: ‘jian’ bermakna ‘mempertunjukkan’; ‘yu’ artinya ‘nafsu’; ‘xin’ itu lambang‘hati’; ‘luan’ melambangkan kekacauan dan kegalauan.

Kalau kita gabungkan secara literal: “Benda sulit tidak mahal, rakyat tidak merampok. Nafsu tidak kelihatan, hati rakyat tidak galau.” Ketika saya rapikan makna dari terjemahan per-kata ini, maka pesan ini yang akan muncul: “Tidak mempersulit akses (kepada sesuatu yang dibutuhkan) maka rakyat akan menghindari tindak kejahatan, tidak menunjukkan ambisi yang berlebihan akan membuat hati rakyat tenang.” Jika diamati, penulis DDJ berpendapat bahwa kekuasaan, jabatan, kekayaan, dan ambisi hanyalah sekadar konstruksi sosial yang dibuat-buat semata-mata untuk mendukung kompetisi dan menggerakkan perputaran sistem. Ini jelas mengandung paralel dengan prekursor dasar progresivisme dalam ide-ide anarkisme, sosialisme, dan liberalisme.

Dilihat dari kegagalan para diktator yang totalitarian dan hampir semua monarki absolut yang pernah ada di muka bumi, cukup jelas bahwa pengekangan berlebihan terhadap rakyat adalah awal dari kehancuran legitimasi pemerintahan itu sendiri. Jalan Dao tidak pernah meng-endorse kerumitan, melainkan kesederhanaan yang wajar. Dalam kutipan panjang DDJ Ch. 57 berikut dapat kita simak banyak keresahan-keresahan yang timbul akibat kompleksitas sistem tata negara:

天下多忌諱、而民彌貧 tiānxià duō jìhuì, ér mín mí pín    民多利器、國家滋昏 mín duō lìqì, guójiā zī hūn 人多知巧、奇物滋起 rén duō zhī qiǎo, qí wù zī qǐ 法物滋章、盜賊多有 fǎ wù zī zhāng, dàozéi duō yǒu

‘Jihui’ adalah pasangan non-compound berurutan; mereka berdua berarti ‘ketakutan’, ‘hal yang tabu’, ‘ketidakpastian’ (fear/dread). ‘Mipin’ melambangkan keadaan serba berkekurangan. 'Li’ artinya ‘daya guna’, ‘QI’ artinya ‘perangkat’. ‘Guojia’ berarti negara dan rumah tangga, tapi ungkapan tersebut dimaknai sebagai ‘haluan nasional’. ‘Zihun’ berarti semakin kabur (’Zi’ artinya ‘bertumbuh’, ‘Hun’ artinya ‘pingsan’). Perhatikan nantinya karakter ‘zi’ akan menjadi pelengkap di baris-baris selanjutnya pula. ‘Qiao’ pada baris ketiga berarti 'tangkas’. “Zhiqiao’ bersama berarti ‘paham dan terampil’. ‘Qiwu’ artinya ketidakjelasan (’Qi’ artinya ‘aneh’, ‘Wu’ artinya ‘materi/zat’); sedangkan ‘qi’ pada karakter terakhir berarti ‘bangkit’. ‘Fa’ adalah ‘regulasi’, ‘zhang’ adalah ‘keteraturan’. Mungkin artinya ketegasan untuk menegakkan hukum. ‘Daozei’ artinya berbagai macam kejahatan. Kata ini merupakan gabungan dari ‘Dao’ yang artinya ‘curi’ atau ‘rampok’; dan ‘zei’ yang artinya ‘bunuh’ dan ‘celaka’.

Seluruhnya dibaca lengkap: “Seluruh dunia dibayangi oleh larangan-larangan, rakyat jadi tidak makmur. Meskipun mereka memegang teknologi canggih, arah gerakan negara tidak ada yang jelas. Banyak orang-orang cerdas dan ahli, tetapi muncul beragam ketidakjelasan. Semakin banyak hukum dan peraturan dibuat, semakin banyak kejahatan muncul.” Jelas sekali elaborasi ini dapat menjelaskan keadaan chaotic Indonesia saat ini—yang terjadi akibat pemerintahan yang cacat dimata Dao. Terlalu ngurusin hidup orang sampe ke ranjang. Teknologi canggih tapi pemerataannya yang tidak jelas. Bahkan komedian Menteri Pendidikan kita yang sangat pintar ignorant itu baru tahu kalau ada bagian-bagian di Indonesia yang TIDAK memiliki akses ke jaringan listrik dan internet. Lawaknya lagi nih, ditengah pandemi COVID-19, peraturan-peraturan kontroversial malah dibahas secara tergesa-gesa dan disahkan terburu-buru. Aji mumpung. Wah, ternyata semua yang ada di Indonesia sekarang sudah diramalkan oleh DDJ dua setengah abad yang lalu. Ironis, ya?

Pada era sekitar Dinasti Shang (abad ke-17 SM), Raja Tang memberikan kebebasan berpolitik bagi negara-negara bagian untuk mendukungnya menggulingkan kekuasaan tirani Dinasti Xia. Ia berhasil mengumpulkan dukungan dari pemberontak raja-raja subjek politik lain di sekitarnya untuk memberontak melawan Maharaja Jie yang saat itu merupakan tuan atas beberapa kerajaan subjek dibawahnya. Raja Tang sebagai salah satu pengamal konsep kehendak bebas di tradisi China Kuno sangat dicintai rakyat ketika ia memerintahkan seluruh pejabat istana untuk menurunkan pajak sesuai kemampuan pada petani dan mengurangi jumlah conscription (wajib militer) bagi keluarga yang hanya memiliki satu anak laki-laki. Tapi bukan hal itu yang mau saya tekankan.

Dalam satu kisah sastra yang tertulis di zaman setelah kepergiannya, Tang memerintahkan untuk menurunkan tiga sisi jaring perangkap burung puyuh (网开三面, wǎngkāi sānmiàn) di taman istana dan menyisakan hanya satu sisi untuk menangkap burung yang memang tidak menghindarinya. Burung-burung yang berhasil menghindari satu jaring perangkap tersebut dapat bebas dan kembali ke alam. Hal ini selaras sengan Dao dan De: layaknya insting hewan, De tidaklah serakah. Hewan hanya berburu untuk mencukupi kebutuhan energinya pada waktu tertentu. Kalo manusia kan sekarah, sukanya nimbun hand sanitizer dan masker pas wabah. Saya duga, strategi ‘buka jaring tiga penjuru’ ini tidak bermakna as is, melainkan kiasan bentuk hak kehendak bebas dalam politik liberalisme mula-mula. Praktik ini termaktub dengan jelas di DDJ Ch. 29:

或行 或隨 或歔 或吹 huò xíng, huò suí, huò xū, huò chuī 或強 或羸 或挫 或隳 huò qiáng, huò léi, huò cuò, huò huī 去甚、去奢、去泰 qù shén, qù shē, qù tài

Repetisi merupakan gaya bahasa dominan pada cuplikan ini. ‘Huo’ artinya ‘terkadang’ (occasionally) sementara ‘qu’ artinya ‘melepaskan’ (let go/give up). Ketika kita maknai bagian ini, kita akan melihat bahwa seorang politisi yang tergolong ‘Shang’ dan mengikuti ‘De’ tidak bisa kaku dan terlalu erat memegang kekuasaannya: “Kadang jalan sendiri, kadang harus mengikuti. Kadang menyedot, kadang mesti menyeruput. Kadang harus kuat, kadang lemah. Lepaskan yang ekstrim, tinggalkan yang berlebihan, jangan arogan.” Disini terhubunglah semua konsep Taoisme: Wu Wei (non-aksi), Yin dan Yang (flow of things), dan Shan (kebaikan/kebenaran). Sesuai hukum alam (Dao), kita tidak bisa meneriaki kacang kedelai untuk berkecambah. Yang bisa kita lakukan adalah memberikannya air dan sinar matahari yang cukup, and then life finds a way. Sederhana kan?

Konsep kesederhanaan sebagai sebuah capaian dalam Taoisme ini dinyatakan dalam sebuah ungkapan kuno yang bermakna ‘papan kayu mentah yang belum diasah atau dipahat’ (literary: 樸, pǔ). ‘Kepolosan’ ini contohnya seperti yang bisa kita lihat di DDJ Ch. 19:

見素、抱樸、少私、寡欲 jiàn sù, bào pǔ, shǎo sī, guǎ yù

‘Su’ disini artinya ‘normal’. ‘Bao’ adalah kata kerja yang artinya menggendong atau memeluk. ‘Shao’ (少) adalah sepupu dari kata sifat ‘xiao’ (小, kecil) yang artinya ‘kurang’ atau ‘sedikit’. ‘Gua’ artinya alone; dan ‘yu’ artinya ‘keinginan’. Kalimat ini dibaca menjadi: “Bersikap biasa saja, memegang kesederhanaan, mengurangi kepentingan diri sendiri, meninggalkan hawa nafsu.”

Kepolosan yang dimaksudkan oleh penulis DDJ ini juga terkadang digambarkan seperti anak bayi. Kalau kita baca di pasal 55, terdapat perumpamaan “未知牝牡之合而脧作” (wèizhī pìn mǔ zhī hé ér juān zuò). Diterjemahkan menjadi “bahkan tanpa perlu mengetahui hubungan seks antara jantan dan betina pun, penisnya sudah bisa ngaceng.” Wait, belum tahu ya kalau bayi bisa ereksi? Kau pikir ereksi mulainya baru saat akil baligh? No, silly. Jalan Dao itu suratan alamiah, semua pria sehat usia berapapun pasti mampu kajung. Nah, sang penulis mengingatkan kembali bahwa siapapun yang menjadi inkarnasi De, ia bertindak seperti anak bayi yang polos, tulus, lembut; tapi tetap melaksanakan fungsinya dengan baik. Effortless action (wu wei) kan?

Begitulah dua perumpamaan kepolosan yang disampaikan oleh DDJ. Bisa dilihat kan disana (pasal 19), bahwa karakter ‘si’ untuk egoisme dilambangkan dengan kanji dari watashi (私), sedangkan di Jepang artinya adalah ‘saya’. Kultur Jepang memang memiliki kekerabatan yang cukup dekat dengan kultur di Korea dan China. Akan tetapi tidak seperti mereka berdua yang terpengaruh kultur Taoisme secara kental, konsep harga diri (self-dignity) di Jepang sangatlah dibanggakan dalam kebiasaan Bushido. Sebagai bahan bacaan selanjutnya mengenai penyangkalan diri ini ada juga tertulis di DDJ Ch. 22 dan 24. Penulis menyatakan berulang-ulang bahwa sikap kerendahan hati akan mengalahkan dunia, seperti khotbah Sang Al-Masih di bukit Eremos dan dituliskan oleh Kitab Injil sekitar 700 tahun kemudian (bdk. Lukas 6, Matius 5). Ora usah neko-neko. Kebanyakan neko-neko akan menimbulkan keinginan.

Dalam ajaran Sang Buddha, keinginan adalah sumber penderitaan (Sansekerta: दुःख, Pali: dukkha) dan merupakan satu dari empat kebenaran mulia (catuāri āryasatyāni) mencegah manusia mencapai Moksha. Keinginan yang tercapai tidak serta merta lalu menjadikan kita puas dan bersyukur, malah seringkali jadi minta lebih dan lebih lagi. Apalagi kalau keinginan tidak keturutan, bisa bahaya. Kesedihan dan kejahatan, semua emosi jelek ini akan timbul karena keinginan. Di ilmu fisika, tekanan dinyatakan sebagai gaya per area. Nah, jika kamu kebanyakan gaya, maka akan muncul tekanan yang besar. Arguendo, pun intended. Bahaya hawa nafsu eksesif ini dijabarkan secara hati-hati dalam DDJ Ch. 46:

罪莫大於可欲 zuì mòdà yú kě yù 禍莫大於不知足 huò mòdà yú bùzhīzú 咎莫大於欲得 jiù mòdà yú yù dé 知足之足常足矣 zhī zú zhī zú cháng zú yǐ 

Akhirnya kita mendapati struktur dasar lagi dalam sebuah sekuens berulang. Nice one, apalagi ini panjang. Sekuens “A  莫大於 B” kita maknai sebagai “tidak ada A yang lebih besar daripada B”. ‘Zui’ artinya ‘kejahatan’; ‘huo’ artinya ‘bencana’; ‘jiu’ artinya ‘kesalahan’. Jika kita baca ketiga baris pertama dari sajak tersebut maka artinya: “Tiada kejahatan yang lebih besar daripada hawa nafsu. Tak ada kemalangan yang lebih besar daripada tidak tahu kata cukup. Tidak ada kesalahan yang lebih besar daripada mengejar kepuasan belaka.” Pada baris terakhir yang beda struktur tersebut, kita mendapatkan petuah paradoksial: “Ketahuilah cukup itu cukup, maka telah cukuplah itu untuk selama-lamanya.”

Apa yang terjadi jika kita tidak berusaha melepaskan keinginan dan hasrat kita dan tetap memilih untuk mencoba mengontrol semuanya dalam genggaman kita? Dalam episode ilmu air dan pasal 29 tadi, kita telah membaca bahwa setiap orang yang ‘bekerja’ mengintervensi terlalu dalam maka akan menemui kekalahan (為者敗之, wèi zhě bài zhī), orang yang berusaha mencengkeram sesuatu akan kehilangan segala sesuatunya (執者失之, zhí zhě shī zhī). Jadi, seorang pengikut Tao mesti mulai belajar untuk letting go.

Menurut penulis DDJ, suatu pemerintahan yang akan awet tahu kapan untuk bertindak (Wei) tetapi tidak melakukan intervensi berlebihan (Wu Wei). Keseimbangan dan harmoni yang berlaku pada setiap dinamika perpolitikan adalah konsekuensi dari Dao pula, yang dapat kita simak pada DDJ Ch. 58:

其政悶悶、其民淳淳 qí zhèng mènmèn, qí mín chún chún 其政察察、其民缺缺 qí zhèng chá chá, qí mín quē quē

Struktur sajak unik ini adalah “ 其政 A, 其民 B”. ‘Zheng’ adalah lambang untuk kepemimpinan, sedangkan ‘min’ adalah kerakyatan. Meskipun ‘men’ berarti ‘diam dalam kesedihan’, dalam konteks ini ‘menmen’ dimaknai menjadi passivity. ‘Cha’ adalah singkatan dari police force, sehingga kata ulang ‘chacha’ dapat dimaknai menjadi ‘investigasi’. ‘Que’ artinya ‘cacat’ atau ‘tidak mampu’.

Setelah dirapikan, pasal ini berbunyi: “Jika pemerintahan bersifat rileks, maka muncullah rakyat yang berbakat. Jika pemerintahan terlalu ketat, maka jadilah rakyat yang inkompeten.” Beberapa police state—seperti Korea Utara dan Indonesia sebelum Reformasi—mengalami nasib yang serupa, karena pemerintah terlalu ikut campur urusan rakyat. Akibatnya, rakyat menjadi kethul (tidak kreatif). Sebaliknya, angka HDI (Human Development Index) negara-negara sosialis liberal di Skandinavia memiliki nilai yang cukup tinggi, karena negara memberikan cukup kebebasan bagi gerakan-gerakan sosial untuk berkembang.

Dalam konsep Yin dan Yang, memang gelap adalah ketiadaan terang. Tetapi hubungan ini tidak hanya satu arah. Tanpa adanya kegelapan, kondisi terang pun juga tidak akan menjadi signifikan lalu taken for granted. Masalah ini telah dianalisis sebagai psychology of appreciation dan law of diminishing returns dalam ekonomi—yang saya bagikan lewat highlight instagram story sejak beberapa tahun lalu—menjelaskan kenapa terkadang hubungan asmara pada tahapan pedekate jauh lebih hot ketimbang pas kalau sudah menikah. Hal ini juga tidak jarang dilakukan oleh banyak tokoh-tokoh politik sepanjang sejarah: mereka terlalu sibuk mengejar agenda pribadi, kemudian tidak mempraktikkan Wu Wei. Mereka seharusnya ingat untuk berbagi kebahagiaan dan sukacita bersama—dengerin ya para pejabat—seluruh masyarakat yang mendukung mereka. Bukan malah diselingkuhin kayak gini. Memang mereka mencapai kemashyuran, tetapi at what cost?

Bertindaklah seperlunya, mediocrity adalah cara mengikuti jalan Dao. Tidak perlu susah payah untuk tampil bermegah diri dan pamer-pamer. Itu semua bersifat tidak natural. Yesus pun bilang kepolosan anak-anak adalah ciri mereka yang akan mewarisi Kerajaan Surga. Penulis DDJ menawarkan cara hidup yang sangat sulit dipahami dengan kultur kita sekarang. Kultur yang serba menghargai kerja keras untuk mencapai mimpi, membangun personality dengan self branding status sosial, dan lain-lain yang pada akhirnya menimbulkan ekspektasi berlebihan: kita cenderung mengikuti apa kata orang. Ujungnya kita lihat banyak sekali timbul berbagai macam orang stres dengan gangguan mental akibat burn out, anxiety, dan depresi.

Demikianlah sedikit sekian banyak konsep dari Literally Tao yang saya dapatkan selama membaca dan mendalami aliran filsafat Daoisme. Rencananya, pada episode selanjutnya (dan terakhir) nanti, saya akan memberikan penutup dan refleksi perjalanan saya selama mempelajari kitab Dao De Jing ini secara literal.
