The view of brownish sandy shore where a lot of blue fishing boats were lining up along the beach. Surprisingly, there is a freshwater river flowing from one of the rocky hills! (It's on the right side of the pic). I don't know where it come from, it's a mystery! 3rd Destination : Baron Beach, Gunung Kidul - Yogyakarta. Located around 60 km from city center, around 2 hour driving due to the considerably long and winding road. As you came closer from the parking area, you can immediately hear the sound of the waves crashing calling you from a far! I was so excited that day, rushing to see the fascinating shore. The roaring southern waves were crashing to its rocky coral hills with brownish sandy shore, plus a lot of fishing boats were lining up. And surprisingly, there is a freshwater river flowing from one of the rocky hills. I don't know where it come from, it's a mystery! Hehe.. . This photo was taken while I was hiking the hill to reach the lighthouse. And I will post another picturesque view of Baron Beach and its surrounding on the next instagram feeds. 2nd Destination : Kalibiru, Kulon Progo - Yogyakarta. Near to Waduk Sermo, probably around 15-20 mins driving. It was a tiring climb from parking area to reach this point. But the view is worthy despite those steep climb! The vast lushly green hills around the water reservoir greet you with a scent of fresh breeze wind blowing through your hair. Feel refreshed instantly! 😄 . . . FYI : I highly recommend visiting Kalibiru on weekdays to truly experience the serene and peaceful atmosphere. 1st Destination : Waduk Sermo (Reservoir), Kulon Progo - Yogyakarta. It took me 1,5 hours riding a bike (roughly around 35 km from city center) to finally found this mirror like water reservoir. That clear water surface reflects its beauty as in paintings.. Such a refreshing view! . . . Well, after a quite long hiatus in posting any instagram feeds, I'm back!
