The Captivating Elegance of Yellow Sapphire Engagement Rings
One of the main reasons why many brides prefer a yellow sapphire opal necklace in Virginia Beach is that these gemstones are rare and exclusive and can easily stand out in any room. Sapphires are versatile and easily pair with various cuts, settings, metals, and designs to suit your needs. Canary yellow sapphires and deeply hued sapphires are pricier than pastel and light-yellow sapphires. You can set your yellow diamond center stone with smaller side ruby rings for women in Virginia Beach or a halo of white diamonds for added shine and protection. Yellow sapphires are the ideal choice if you work a lot with your hands or lead an active and outgoing lifestyle.

Somebody’s Everything
Rewrite Chapter 1
Life hated Lindsay for some damn reason since she was four, and her mother and older sister were killed. Right now she was engaged to the one and only Tony DiNozzo, but a couple days ago he found out he has daughter, that were this fight begins
“Your just leaving?” She questioned him as he packed some stuff “You can come with.” He said, he was all but pleading with her “I can’t, I'll deploy soon.” She said raising her voice, it was always one thing Tony didn’t understand her deployments “You really think I pack up and move to Paris?” She questioned him “You leave on a dime all the time.” He said back to her “I kinda have too.” She yelled at him, she was really glad Tony Sr had the kid right now “Is this it for us?” He asked in calm voice, he watched as she took off her in engagement ring, she walked over placed it in his hand, and closed his hand round it “I can’t just leave.” She whispered, tears had fallen down her face, she kissed his cheek, before grabbing her bag and leaving the apartment
As she drove back Virginia Beach, she couldn’t help but think, she wasn’t ready to take on the role as a mother yet, she still had so much fucking trama from childhood, she blinked back tears as she pulled into her house, it was small but worked a navy seal, she got the last of her affairs in order before heading to base for deployment, no one questioned where her ring was at, they all assumed she left it at home
Three Months Later
Back heading back home, no one said anything until now “So where’s the ring?” Jason asked her “I gave it back.” She shrugged, this made Brock perked up from what he was doing “I thought you two were getting married?” Jason questioned, he was confused everything seemed fine the last time he saw Tony so what the hell changed “He has a kid.” She paused “With Ziva.” The last part was quiet, Jason was completely quiet “Ziva was killed, leaving her daughter behind. Since she’s Tony's kid she got placed in his care, so he moved to Ziva's favorite place.” She said, wiping tears away, Jason was still quite and just hugged her
Once they landed, she grabbed her stuff and left base, she got back to her and was confronted with pictures of her and Tony, she took them all down, put them in her desk drawer. She heard a knock on the door and went to answer it, she saw Brock standing there “Hey.” He said smiling, she knew why he was hear, she had been more snappy at the guys all deployment “I don’t want to talk about it.” She said, she shook her head “We’re talking about it.” Brock said coming in to her house, Brock was probably the only person that could get her to talk about personal shit, besides Jason and maybe Ray
They sat on her couch “I just don't understand, this kid is like 4, and me and Tony dated after Ellie started, I feel like I took away her dad. Even if Ziva never told him, I still feel like a bad person.” She paused before she kept going “I was the same age when I lost my mom and sister and all I had was my dad and the necklace he got me and my sister," Lindsay said crying, Brock just pulled her into a hug “Lindsey.” He said looking at her “You're not a bad person.” He paused before going on “I mean look at what we do for a damn living. We go into the line of fire every time.” He said it was all true.
He could see the wheels turning in her head “What are you think Lindsey?” He questioned her, “What if he needs help?” Lindsey started rambling about the things that Tony could need help with “Lindsey, stop your over thinking this.” He said “You can’t look back at that and think of what could have been.”
“Brock, would it be bad if I called him?” She questioned, Brock shook his head and stood up, she stood up to and hugged, Brock left and Lindsey was left by herself. She called Tony and left a message mostly apologizing for how she left and saying she would switch her emergency contact back to her dad
Over the next few months Lindsey didn’t answer any calls from her dad at all, they all went unanswered. It made him worry about his daughter so much so he drove to her damn base
Lindsey was walking out of cages when her dad stopped her “Lindsey what the hell?” He questioned her calmly “Dad can we go somewhere away from people?” She questioned, she didn’t want anyone hear how bad of a daughter she had been over the past 6 months “No.” Gibbs said shaking his head “You don't answer any of my calls for three months.” He said, Lindsey wanted to lie about but she knew she couldn’t so she stayed quiet “Lindsey Shay Gibbs?” He questioned her, “Fine everything reminds me of Tony, DC, NCIS, even you remind me of him, I’m also a shit human at the moment for not answering your calls.” Her voice was raised alerting all of the Bravo team, Jason walked and saw Gibbs there “Is everything okay here special agent?” Jason questioned “Jase everything’s fine I’ll be in a minute.” She said, her talk with her dad ended and her going back to the cages, she didn’t speak to anyone at all

Lorien Legacies Characters + Styles of Dress
One- Surfer + Cute She always dresses like she’s about to go to the beach. She wears a lot of tank tops, shorts, sandals, flip-flops, wedges, Vans, ripped jeans, tie-dye t-shirts, flannel shirts, bikini tops, and cute tops and always accessories with sunglasses and a small crossbody bag. She also likes wearing silver jewelry and sun hats or baseball caps. Her outfits are always on-point and super cute. Her main colors are blue and white with tan and light orange accents. She also loves shorts with beach-type prints like waves and palm trees, thin jackets, and high-waisted shorts, and when it’s cold out she wears a jumper or knit sweater with a natural tone, and she’ll wear a button-up jean shirt from time-to-time. Her style is really laid-back and looks super nice even when she doesn’t really try as she doesn’t care too much about fashion but likes the style. Her favorite article of clothing is a white and blue gradient tank top she ‘borrowed’ from a store while with Wade.
Maggie-  Autumn + Academia Her style is really cute and warm, she looks like the human personification of autumn. She likes wearing scarves, cardigans, knit sweaters, stockings, skinny jeans, parkas, short and ankle boots, and flannel, long-sleeved, and button-up shirts. She usually looks like she’s about to walk into a coffee shop to read. She always carries a brown bag to carry all her books and accessories with plain gold jewelry- especially rings and earrings- usually has some sort of overcoat on, likes wearing layers, and her outfits are always precise and perfect. She accessories perfectly and her main colors are brown, black, and maroon with dark orange and crimson accents. Sometimes she’ll wear an overall dress and floral patterns so long as it has that fall-color palette, and she’ll wear the autumn style no matter the season. She’ll wear the perfect fall outfit in the dead of July without hesitation. She also likes wearing hair accessories like hairclips, headbands, bandanas, hats (especially fedoras, she’s one of the few people who can actually look decent in them), bows, and clips and she usually styles her hair really nicely when she doesn’t just put it down. She also steals clothes from all of the guys- mostly Adam, John, and Nine- like she did with Conrad cause they’re so big and comfy, especially on her. Her favorite article of clothing is an oversized maroon sweater Conrad knit for her.
Hannu- Trendy + Comfy He likes the classic, comfortable clothes most teenage boys wear. He wears a lot of sweatshirts and hoodies, brand-name shoes like Nikes and Adidas, sweats, jeans (most of which cuffed), zip-up sweaters, knee-shorts, khakis, and plain tees with the occasional turtleneck. Most- if not all- of his clothes are big and comfy and others love stealing them from him cause because of it. His main colors are brown and gray with black and white accents, and he owns most clothes everyone else own. He likes to keep it simple and straightforward and doesn’t care too much for fashion, but will experiment from time-to-time. He’ll occasionally wear a basic accessory like a woven bracelet, wristwatch, or chain necklace and a bolder color like yellow or blue every now and then but other than that he avoids anything too flashy or eye-catching. He also likes clothes fitting for long runs and playing basketball like tank tops, athletic shorts, and track pants. His favorite article of clothing is a black tank top with the Kenya flag on it he got while at the village.
John- Prep + Plain He kind of dresses like a white suburban dad (and Nine loves making fun of him for it). He likes button-up, striped, and polo shirts, khakis, plain tees, zip-up sweaters, jeans, knee-shorts, sneakers, sandals, and the occasional sweatshirt or hoodie. He owns a million different belts and sometimes wears a watch but doesn’t really like to accessorize. The number one thing the others hate about his style is his tendency to wear socks with slip-ons (it’s an Ohio thing), and he does it just to piss them off. Overall, he has a very simple and plain style. He doesn’t care too much about fashion but does like looking presentable, so he and his clothes usually look pretty neat and clean but most of the time there’s that one thing that tips his outfit off like a color that doesn’t match with the rest or an accessory worn with the wrong outfit, but no one bothers to point it out cause they all know John will just shrug it off anyways. His main colors are white and blue with brown, orange, and dark blue accents. His favorite article of clothing is a pair of lightly ripped jeans that used to belong to Henri.
Five- Emo + Grunge He’s the middle line between emo and grunge, really. He mostly wears skinny and/or ripped jeans, classic-rock band tees, Vans, Converse, leather or denim jackets, combat boots, faded clothes, parkas, distressed jeans, oversized shirts, black sneakers, and acid-washed jeans. He doesn’t really like accessories except a few pins and wristbands here and there, and when his hair has grown out too long and he doesn’t feel like combing it (which is most times) he wears a beanie to cover it. Overall he doesn’t really care about fashion (or his appearance at all) so he just throws on whatever he sees first and it may look bizarre at first but he somehow makes it work, even though he doesn’t really try. He also- to the others’ surprise- really likes floral-print, so he’ll be seen wearing a black and white floral-print t-shirt every now and then. His main colors are black and white with silver, dark gray, and dark green accents. His favorite article of clothing is a parka he got the first time he went to a non-tropical place during his run from the Mogs.
Six- Androgynous/Tomboy + Punk She acts like a butch and dresses like one, too. She usually wears army-print jackets, ripped jeans, sweatshirts and hoodies, button-up shirts, jeans, sneakers, trucker hats, leather jackets, baggy tees, flannel shirts, combat boots, and denim or leather vests. She rarely accessories but the few times she does, she goes all out with studs, chains, wristbands, pins, fingerless leather gloves, black accessories, and studded belts, and sometimes she’ll wear eyeliner (with enough begging from Ella), and other times she’ll wear suspenders, women’s suits, or polo shirts. Her right ear is covered in piercings and she has a diamond nose stud on the left, and it may not seem like it, but she actually doesn’t care about style. She just throws on whatever she thinks will look somewhat decent and leave, but it usually looks really good, though sometimes she messes a few things up like mismatching the colors. When she’s feeling nostalgic or she misses Katarina more than usual, she’ll wear a bow in her hair like she used to, and her main colors are black and blue with white and brown accents. Her overall style is down-to-earth, simple, and tomboyish with some punk-rock highlights here and there, or she’ll go full punk and it looks pretty good on her. Her favorite article of clothing is a black leather jacket, which was the first thing she got after she escaped from the West Virginia Base.
Marina- Hipster + Simple Her style is simple, but pretty cute. Out of all the Garde besides Ella, she probably cares the most about fashion and often wears fedoras, flannel shirts, jean shorts, stockings, beanies, combat or ankle boots, denim jackets, baggy sweaters, graphic tees, and cardigans with the occasional leather jacket (usually one of Six’s). She loves tying flannel shirts around her waist or throwing it into any of her outfits, even if it doesn’t match. She usually accessories with a bunch of stacked rings, silver necklaces, and sometime a bracelet, mostly beaded ones, but rarely wears earrings. She also loves layering, it’s almost impossible for her to go out- even in the summer- without wearing something over her clothes. She likes looking nice so has a very neat and cute style but doesn’t go overboard. When it’s cold out, she’ll throw on a cute knit sweater or nice-fitting long-sleeved shirt and also likes wearing beanies (a lot). Her main colors are brown and cream with black and tawny accents and while she does care quite a bit about fashion and presentability, she’ll always choose comfort over fashion. If she had to choose between a cute cardigan that itched and a plain and baggy but comfy tee, she’ll choose the latter in a heartbeat, but she’ll choose flannel over everything, it’s basically her trademark style and she owns like a million flannel shirts in a hundred different colors. Her favorite article of clothing is a dark orange and black flannel shirt.
Eight- Cozy + Eccentric His style will change every other day. One day he’ll be wearing basic, everyday clothes like hoodies, sweatshirts, jeans, sweats, baseball caps, sweaters, tank tops, baggy tees, and sneakers- the comfiest clothes almost everyone has just lying in their closet- and the next he’ll be wearing the weirdest array of bright, flashy colors and prints. He loves floral and animal-print shirts, silly graphic tees, skinny jeans, and bizarre accessories like fringe necklaces, friendship bracelets, woven bracelets and necklaces, and Silly Bandz (which are his trademark article of clothing). His right cartilage is pierced and he always has a small silver helix earring on, and he’ll wear the most offbeat and surreal colors together like a bright orange t-shirt with lime green skinny jeans and dark blue boots. They literally never look good but he doesn’t care (nor does he mind the staring from strangers) as he doesn’t care about fashion and just wears whatever he’s comfortable with, which just so happens to be the brightest, flashiest clothing and colors in existence. His main colors are basically every one with gold and silver accents. His favorite article of clothing is a bright yellow ‘Shut up, Karen’ t-shirt, a gift from Nine.
Nine- Athletic + Casual His style isn’t too bad when he actually wears clothes. He wears the basic workout clothes like track pants, zip-up sweaters, comfy t-shirts, workout shorts, athletic tops, gym shoes, and athletic tank tops that usually have a Chicago team logo on them (mostly the Bulls), but besides that he wears basic, everyday clothes as if he’s taking a quick trip to the grocery store like sweatshirts, large hoodies, plain tees, (ripped) jeans, sneakers, and knee shorts. Despite having the most money of all the Garde and living in a penthouse in Downtown Chicago, Nine doesn’t like flashy or expensive clothes and goes with the casual, daily clothes he’s seen the majority of people wear since he’s learned to adapt to and act like others around him while on the run from the Mogs. He also hates formal clothes like tuxedos cause they’re uncomfortable for him and he would never let Sandor make him wear one. His main colors are gray and blue with dark red and black accents and besides a basic watch and chain necklace here and there, he never accessories and usually throws on the first thing he sees when he wakes up. The others always steal his shirts and hoodies cause they’re so big, warm, and comfy. His favorite article of clothing is a gray sleeveless hoodie he had since he moved to Chicago.
Ella- Retro + Feminine Her style is easily one of the cutest out of all of them. She loves feminine, retro, old-fashioned clothes like striped shirts, cute dresses, flowy skirts, 90s band tees, overalls, button-up shirts, suspenders, sweaters, cute tops, shorts, and colorful sweaters. She usually accessories with sunglasses, bows, scarves, belts, bandanas, earrings, and small rings and always looks like she came out of a 90s romance film. She cares the most about her clothes and fashion so usually looks the best-dressed out of all the Garde with an exception for her lazy days where she usually just throws on a sweater and leggings. Sometimes she’s the epitome of the ‘Soft Girl’ aesthetic- baggy sweaters, denim skirts, scrunchies, white shoes, and cute t-shirts. Her main colors are pink, pastel purple, and vivid red with jean blue and soft orange accents and her style really reflects on her young and bright personality. Her favorite article of clothing is a red, orange, yellow, and blue-striped t-shirt she got while out with Marina.
Sam- Nerdy + Vintage For someone who doesn’t really care about his looks, Sam’s outfits are pretty damn nice. He mixes ‘nerdy’ and ‘vintage’ styles so he usually wears button-up shirts, suspenders, collared shirts, flannel shirts, plain jeans, zip-up sweaters, striped shirts, sweaters, and sometimes a denim jacket. He basically looks like Peter Parker if he was from the 90s. His style pretty much reflects his personality- nerdy, cute, sophisticated, and smart- and he rarely accessories besides watches and friendship bracelets he made for him and John. He won’t be caught dead without a zip-up sweater on, too. He’s obsessed with the things and refuses to leave the house without one, and he occasionally wears ripped or cuffed jeans. Mostly he likes wearing a collared long-sleeved shirt under a sweater and also likes funny shirts with cheesy jokes and puns on them. He doesn’t really care too much about his appearance or fashion, but enough to make sure his outfit isn’t absolutely hideous before he goes out. He usually goes for the comfier clothes and will often steal John, Nine, and Hannu’s clothes. His main colors are light blue, gray, and brown with cream and dark orange accents. His favorite article of clothing is a slightly baggy, dark blue zip-up sweater that was Malcolm’s.
Sarah- Fashionable + Girly She has the most feminine style, and it suits her well. She usually wears  dresses, skirts, halter tops, tank tops, high heels, sandals, silk jackets, ripped jeans, jean shorts, tube tops, denim jackets, and cute tops. She always accessories and does so perfectly with earrings, affirmation necklaces, bangle or charm bracelets, and plain rings, and every outfit is always on-point and perfect as she’s one of the only ones who actually cares about fashion, cares the most about her appearance, and always wants to look nice and presentable. She’ll occasionally wear comfier but still cute clothes like beanies or knit sweaters and always has a bag or purse with her to carry all her regular ‘human’ items, including her camera. She also usually wears light makeup like mascara, lip gloss, and a bit of blush and either has her hair down or nicely styled if she has the time. Her main colors are pink and white with light blue and gold accents and her overall style is very neat, cute, and feminine and shows what type of person she is. Her favorite article of clothing is a white off-shoulder top she likes to wear with a silk pink circle skirt when she’s feeling extra pretty.
Adam- Alternative + Dark He has that ‘dark but not emo’ style, on the border of e-boy. He typically wears black aviator, leather, or bomber jackets, long-sleeved shirts, band tees, ripped jeans, striped shirts, denim jackets, baggy tees, Vans, collared shirts, and dress pants. He likes wearing leather belts with chains but other than that usually skips accessorising besides the occasional earrings as he has quite a lot of ear piercings (and either a nose ring, snakebites, or eyebrow piercing). Sometimes he’ll even dress like a skater boy- Thrasher and/or baggy shirts, distressed jeans, checkered Vans, studded belts, flannel shirts, light studs, beanies, long socks, and graphic tees, and he loves black and white flannel shirts and pocket-grid pants and jackets. His main colors are black and white with dark blue and gray accents, and he adores pins. He owns about a million different vests and jackets (most of which leather or denim and either black or dark blue) and he loves decorating them with pins, stitches, and even safety pins on the sleeves of his vests. He has too many pins to count like the stereotypical alien head, a UFO, a pride flag, rock band logos, a skull, a smiley face, and other random things he sticks onto himself every morning. His style is overall a little messy but pretty nice as he doesn’t care that much about his appearance but likes the style. His favorite article of clothing is a black denim vest with a hundred pins and stiches on it Malcolm bought for him.

Poe went to college in NYC to pursue a music career and got a general music degree or something like that
Poe has a sister named Elena, and Libby REALLY looks up to her
Libby's mom (who I havent named yet) was from Greece and she was in NYC for college and Poe was like, high key in love with her and kinda thought maybe she would be the one but then she broke his heart.....
He thought they were going to raise Libby together but she was just like "nah fam I'm not ready to be a mom" and left in the middle of the night, leaving a letter for Poe
She writes to him and Libby once or twice a month
Poe is bi, btw
I usually hc him as gay but for plot purposes in this one he's bi
Finn is an insomniac and a chronic stress baker
No Kylo in this fic bc he's a lil bitch and I do not like him
Poe surfs.
High key a few of Poe's traits on this fic are stolen from Marty Deeks from NCIS LA (surfing, love of theater and sour patch kids)
Poe has two necklaces!!
One is kinda long, sits about mid chest, its just a leather strap with Shara's ring
The other one sits about collar bone level, so visible above most shirts, its a black chord with a little wood pendant carved to look like a compass
But necklaces bave huge emotional significance to Poe, the first for obvious reasons, but you'll have to wait to learn about necklace #2 (unless you're nat, who hears basically all my ideas as soon as I make them)
LIBBY IS LIKE BESTIES WITH SNAP AND KARÉ'S KIDS AND ITS SO PURE OKAY???
Snap and KarĂŠ have two boys named Eli and Joey
Finn and Rey own a bakery together :)))
Poe gets a job as a mechanic
POE SINGS A LOT OKAY???
He really likes James Taylor, and he sings You've Got A Friend and Sweet Baby James to Libby as lullabies
Poe, Jess, Snap and KarĂŠ all live within walking distance of each other
JESS WILL BE THE BEST MAN AT POES WEDDING OKAY
Not because I think Snap matters less, but because of how I set up their friendship story
Poe and Jess were friends since birth, and Poe went to college in NYC while Jess stayed closer to home (home is Virginia Beach)
Snap was Poe's college roommate are KarĂŠ was Jess's roommate
Snap was coming to visit Poe after he had moved back, and he invited him to a cookout w/ Jess, and Jess happened to be bringing KarĂŠ
And Snap and KarĂŠ ended up going out and trying long distance for a while (bc snap was still living in NYC) but then Snap moved to virginia beach and they got engaged and got a place together like four blocks from Poe's house and six blocks from Jess
Finn is constantly cuffing his pants, wearing tucked in shirts with colorful patterns, wearing belts, dressing like a Poster Bi™
Did I already say that Rey and Finn are best friends?? Idk if I did, but they are.
Rose fits in here somewhere, I havent figured out exactly where yet
I think she maybe works at the same garage as Poe bc Mechanic Rose is SO underused.

Virginia Woolf: Mrs Dalloway in Bond Street
Virginia Woolf
Mrs Dalloway
Mrs Dalloway said she would buy the gloves herself.
Big Ben was striking as she stepped out into the street. It was eleven o'clock and the unused hour was fresh as if issued to children on a beach. But there was something solemn in the deliberate swing of the repeated strokes; something stirring in the murmur of wheels and the shuffle of footsteps.
No doubt they were not all bound on errands of happiness. There is much more to be said about us than that we walk the streets of Westminster. Big Ben too is nothing but steel rods consumed by rust were it not for the care of H.M.'s Office of Works. Only for Mrs Dalloway the moment was complete; for Mrs Dalloway June was fresh. A happy childhood--and it was not to his daughters only that Justin Parry had seemed a fine fellow (weak of course on the Bench); flowers at evening, smoke rising; the caw of rooks falling from ever so high, down down through the October air - there is nothing to take the place of childhood. A leaf of mint brings it back: or a cup with a blue ring.
Poor little wretches, she sighed, and pressed forward. Oh, right under the horses' noses, you little demon! and there she was left on the kerb stretching her hand out, while Jimmy Dawes grinned on the further side.
A charming woman, poised, eager, strangely white-haired for her pink cheeks, so Scope Purvis, C.C.B., saw her as he hurried to his office. She stiffened a little, waiting for burthen's van to pass. Big Ben struck the tenth; struck the eleventh stroke. The leaden circles dissolved in the air. Pride held her erect, inheriting, handing on, acquainted with discipline and with suffering. How people suffered, how they suffered, she thought, thinking of Mrs Foxcroft at the Embassy last night decked with jewels, eating her heart out, because that nice boy was dead, and now the old Manor House (Durtnall's van passed) must go to a cousin.
'Good morning to you!' said Hugh Whitbread raising his hat rather extravagantly by the china shop, for they had known each other as children. 'Where are you off to?'
'I love walking in London,' said Mrs Dalloway. 'Really it's better than walking in the country!'
'We've just come up,' said Hugh Whitbread. 'Unfortunately to see doctors.'
'Milly?' said Mrs Dalloway, instantly compassionate.
'Out of sorts,' said Hugh Whitbread. 'That sort of thing. Dick all right?'
'First rate!' said Clarissa.
Of course, she thought, walking on, Milly is about my age--fifty, fifty-two. So it is probably that, Hugh's manner had said so, said it perfectly--dear old Hugh, thought Mrs Dalloway, remembering with amusement, with gratitude, with emotion, how shy, like a brother--one would rather die than speak to one's brother--Hugh had always been, when he was at Oxford, and came over, and perhaps one of them (drat the thing!) couldn't ride. How then could women sit in Parliament? How could they do things with men? For there is this extra-ordinarily deep instinct, something inside one; you can't get over it; it's no use trying; and men like Hugh respect it without our saying it, which is what one loves, thought Clarissa, in dear old Hugh.
She had passed through the Admiralty Arch and saw at the end of the empty road with its thin trees Victoria's white mound, Victoria's billowing motherliness, amplitude and homeliness, always ridiculous, yet how sublime, thought Mrs Dalloway, remembering Kensington Gardens and the old lady in horn spectacles and being told by Nanny to stop dead still and bow to the Queen. The flag flew above the Palace. The King and Queen were back then. Dick had met her at lunch the other day--a thoroughly nice woman. It matters so much to the poor, thought Clarissa, and to the soldiers. A man in bronze stood heroically on a pedestal with a gun on her left hand side--the South African war. It matters, thought Mrs Dalloway walking towards Buckingham Palace. There it stood four-square, in the broad sunshine, uncompromising, plain. But it was character, she thought; something inborn in the race; what Indians respected. The Queen went to hospitals, opened bazaars--the Queen of England, thought Clarissa, looking at the Palace. Already at this hour a motor car passed out at the gates; soldiers saluted; the gates were shut. And Clarissa, crossing the road, entered the Park, holding herself upright.
June had drawn out every leaf on the trees. The mothers of Westminster with mottled breasts gave suck to their young. Quite respectable girls lay stretched on the grass. An elderly man, stooping very stiffly, picked up a crumpled paper, spread it out flat and flung it away. How horrible! Last night at the Embassy Sir Dighton had said, 'If 1 want a fellow to hold my horse, I have only to put up my hand.' But the religious question is far more serious than the economic, Sir Dighton had said, which she thought extraordinarily interesting, from a man like Sir Dighton. 'Oh, the country will never know what it has lost,' he had said, talking of his own accord, about dear Jack Stewart.
She mounted the little hill lightly. The air stirred with energy. Messages were passing from the Fleet to the Admiralty. Piccadilly and Arlington Street and the Mall seemed to chafe the very air in the Park and lift its leaves hotly, brilliantly, upon waves of that divine vitality which Clarissa loved. To ride; to dance; she had adored all that. Or going long walks in the country, talking, about books, what to do with one's life, for young people were amazingly priggish--oh, the things one had said! But one had conviction. Middle age is the devil. People like Jack'll never know that, she thought; for he never once thought of death, never, they said, knew he was dying. And now can never mourn--how did it go?--a head grown grey . . . From the contagion of the world's slow stain, . . . have drunk their cup a round or two before. . . . From the contagion of the world's slow stain! She held herself upright.
But how jack would have shouted! Quoting Shelley, in Piccadilly, 'You want a pin,' he would have said. He hated frumps. 'My God Clarissa! My God Clarissa!'--she could hear him now at the Devonshire House party, about poor Sylvia Hunt in her amber necklace and that dowdy old silk. Clarissa held herself upright for she had spoken aloud and now she was in Piccadilly, passing the house with the slender green columns, and the balconies; passing club windows full of newspapers; passing old Lady Burdett-Coutts' house where the glazed white parrot used to hang; and Devonshire House, without its gilt leopards; and Claridge's, where she must remember Dick wanted her to leave a card on Mrs Jepson or she would be gone. Rich Americans can be very charming. There was St James's Palace; like a child's game with bricks; and now--she had passed Bond Street--she was by Hatchard's book shop. The stream was endless--endless endless. Lords, Ascot, Hurlingham--what was it? What a duck, she thought, looking at the frontispiece of some book of memoirs spread wide in the bow window, Sir Joshua perhaps or Romney; arch, bright, demure; the sort of girl--like her own Elizabeth--the only real sort of girl. And there was that absurd book, Soapy Sponge, which Jim used to quote by the yard; and Shakespeare's Sonnets. She knew them by heart. Phil and she had argued all day about the Dark Lady, and Dick had said straight out at dinner that night that he had never heard of her. Really, she had married him for that! He had never read Shakespeare! There must be some little cheap book she could buy for Milly--Cranford of course! Was there ever anything so enchanting as the cow in petticoats? If only people had that sort of humour, that sort of self-respect now, thought Clarissa, for she remembered the broad pages; the sentences ending; the characters--how one talked about them as if they were real. For all the great things one must go to the past, she thought. From the contagion of the world's slow stain . . . Fear no more the heat o' the sun. . . . And now can never mourn, can never mourn, she repeated, her eyes straying over the window; for it ran in her head; the test of great poetry; the moderns had never written anything one wanted to read about death, she thought; and turned.
Omnibuses joined motor cars; motor cars vans; vans taxicabs, taxicabs motor cars--here was an open motor car with a girl, alone. Up till four, her feet tingling, I know, thought Clarissa, for the girl looked washed out, half asleep, in the corner of the car after the dance. And another car came; and another. No! No! No! Clarissa smiled good-naturedly. The fat lady had taken every sort of trouble, but diamonds! orchids! at this hour of the morning! No! No! No! The excellent policeman would, when the time came, hold up his hand. Another motor car passed. How utterly unattractive! Why should a girl of that age paint black round her eyes? And a young man, with a girl, at this hour, when the country-- The admirable policeman raised his hand and Clarissa acknowledging his sway, taking her time, crossed, walked towards Bond Street; saw the narrow crooked street, the yellow banners; the thick notched telegraph wires stretched across the sky.
A hundred years ago her great-great-grandfather, Seymour Parry, who ran away with Conway's daughter, had walked down Bond Street. Down Bond Street the Parrys had walked for a hundred years, and might have met the Dalloways (Leighs on the mother's side) going up. Her father got his clothes from Hill's. There was a roll of cloth in the window, and here just one jar on a black table, incredibly expensive; like the thick pink salmon on the ice block at the fish monger's. The jewels were exquisite--pink and orange stars, paste, Spanish, she thought, and chains of old gold; starry buckles, little brooches which had been worn on sea-green satin by ladies with high head-dresses. But no good looking! One must economise. She must go on past the picture dealer's where one of the odd French pictures hung, as if people had thrown confetti--pink and blue--for a joke. If you had lived with pictures (and it's the same with books and music) thought Clarissa, passing the Aeolian Hall, you can't be taken in by a joke.
The river of Bond Street was clogged. There, like a Queen at a tournament, raised, regal, was Lady Bexborough. She sat in her carriage, upright, alone, looking through her glasses. The white glove was loose at her wrist. She was in black, quite shabby, yet, thought Clarissa, how extraordinarily it tells, breeding, self-respect, never saying a word too much or letting people gossip; an astonishing friend; no one can pick a hole in her after all these years, and now, there she is, thought Clarissa, passing the Countess who waited powdered, perfectly still, and Clarissa would have given anything to be like that, the mistress of Clarefield, talking politics, like a man. But she never goes anywhere, thought Clarissa, and it's quite useless to ask her, and the carriage went on and Lady Bexborough was borne past like a Queen at a tournament, though she had nothing to live for and the old man is failing and they say she is sick of it all, thought Clarissa and the tears actually rose to her eyes as she entered the shop.
'Good morning,' said Clarissa in her charming voice. 'Gloves,' she said with her exquisite friendliness and putting her bag on the counter began, very slowly, to undo the buttons. 'White gloves,' she said. 'Above the elbow,' and she looked straight into the shop-woman's face--but this was not the girl she remembered? She looked quite old. 'These really don't fit,' said Clarissa. The shop-girl looked at them. 'Madame wears bracelets?' Clarissa spread out her fingers. 'Perhaps it's my rings.' And the girl took the grey gloves with her to the end of the counter.
Yes, thought Clarissa, if it's the girl I remember, she's twenty years older. . .. There was only one other customer, sitting sideways at the counter, her elbow poised, her bare hand drooping, vacant; like a figure on a Japanese fan, thought Clarissa, too vacant perhaps, yet some men would adore her. The lady shook her head sadly. Again the gloves were too large. She turned round the glass. 'Above the wrist,' she reproached the grey-headed woman; who looked and agreed.
They waited; a clock ticked; Bond Street hummed, dulled, distant; the woman went away holding gloves. 'Above the wrist,' said the lady, mournfully, raising her voice. And she would have to order chairs, ices, flowers, and cloak-room tickets, thought Clarissa. The people she didn't want would come; the others wouldn't. She would stand by the door. They sold stockings--silk stockings. A lady is known by her gloves and her shoes, old Uncle William used to say. And through the hanging silk stockings quivering silver she looked at the lady, sloping shouldered, her hand drooping, her bag slipping, her eyes vacantly on the floor. It would be intolerable if dowdy women came to her party! Would one have liked Keats if he had worn red socks? Oh, at last--she drew into the counter and it flashed into her mind:
'Do you remember before the war you had gloves with pearl buttons?'
'French gloves, Madame?'
'Yes, they were French,' said Clarissa. The other lady rose very sadly and took her bag, and looked at the gloves on the counter. But they were all too large--always too large at the wrist.
'With pearl buttons,' said the shop-girl, who looked ever so much older. She split the lengths of tissue paper apart on the counter. With pearl buttons, thought Clarissa, perfectly simple--how French!
'Madame's hands are so slender,' said the shop-girl, drawing the glove firmly, smoothly, down over her rings. And Clarissa looked at her arm in the looking-glass. The glove hardly came to the elbow. Were there others half an inch longer? Still it seemed tiresome to bother her perhaps the one day in the month, thought Clarissa, when it's an agony to stand. 'Oh, don't bother,' she said. But the gloves were brought.
'Don't you get fearfully tired,' she said in her charming voice, 'standing? When d'you get your holiday?'
'In September, Madame, when we're not so busy.'
When we're in the country thought Clarissa. Or shooting. She has a fortnight at Brighton. In some stuffy lodging. The landlady takes the sugar. Nothing would be easier than to send her to Mrs Lumley's right in the country (and it was on the tip of her tongue). But then she remembered how on their honeymoon Dick had shown her the folly of giving impulsively. It was much more important, he said, to get trade with China. Of course he was right. And she could feel the girl wouldn't like to be given things. There she was in her place. So was Dick. Selling gloves was her job. She had her own sorrows quite separate, 'and now can never mourn, can never mourn,' the words ran in her head. 'From the contagion of the world's slow stain,' thought Clarissa holding her arm stiff, for there are moments when it seems utterly futile (the glove was drawn off leaving her arm flecked with powder)--simply one doesn't believe, thought Clarissa, any more in God.
The traffic suddenly roared; the silk stockings brightened. A customer came in.
'White gloves,' she said, with some ring in her voice that Clarissa remembered.
It used, thought Clarissa, to be so simple. Down down through the air came the caw of the rooks. When Sylvia died, hundreds of years ago, the yew hedges looked so lovely with the diamond webs in the mist before early church. But if Dick were to die tomorrow, as for believing in God--no, she would let the children choose, but for herself, like Lady Bexborough, who opened the bazaar, they say, with the telegram in her hand--Roden, her favourite, killed--she would go on. But why, if one doesn't believe? For the sake of others, she thought, taking the glove in her hand. The girl would be much more unhappy if she didn't believe.
'Thirty shillings,' said the shop-woman. 'No, pardon me Madame, thirty-five. The French gloves are more.'
For one doesn't live for oneself, thought Clarissa.
And then the other customer took a glove, tugged it, and it split.
'There!' she exclaimed .
'A fault of the skin,' said the grey-headed woman hurriedly. 'Sometimes a drop of acid in tanning. Try this pair, Madame.'
'But it's an awful swindle to ask two pound ten!'
Clarissa looked at the lady; the lady looked at Clarissa.
'Gloves have never been quite so reliable since the war,' said the shop-girl, apologising, to Clarissa.
But where had she seen the other lady?--elderly, with a frill under her chin; wearing a black ribbon for gold eyeglasses; sensual, clever, like a Sargent drawing. How one can tell from a voice when people are in the habit, thought Clarissa, of making other people--'It's a shade too tight,' she said--obey. The shop-woman went off again. Clarissa was left waiting. Fear no more she repeated, playing her finger on the counter. Fear no more the heat o' the sun. Fear no more she repeated. There were little brown spots on her arm. And the girl crawled like a snail. Thou thy worldly task hast done. Thousands of young men had died that things might go on. At last! Half an rich above the elbow; pearl buttons; five and a quarter. My dear slow coach, thought Clarissa, do you think I can sit here the whole morning? Now you'll take twenty-five minutes to bring me my change!
There was a violent explosion in the street outside. The shop-women cowered behind the counters. But Clarissa, sitting very upright, smiled at the other lady. 'Miss Anstruther!' she exclaimed.

My Wife Is A Mermaid, Of All Things (Thomas Jefferson x Mermaid!Reader)
Request:
trueblue80s said: Hi can I have an imagine where Thomas Jefferson and the reader are married and he finds out shes a mermaid!
Word Count: 1740
A/N: this prompt is… so cute, i am in love. hope you like it!
“I do.” You said, tears shamelessly falling down your cheeks with a bright smile.
“And do you, Thomas Jefferson,” the minister started, but was interrupted by an excited Jefferson almost bouncing in his place.
“Hell yeah, I do.”
The whole crowd laughed, including yourself and the poor minister. You wiped your tears with the back of your hand, waiting patiently for the next words.
“To commemorate this union, you may now exchange rings. The circle formed by each ring symbolizes your eternal love and commitment to one another. Let these rings remind you always of that love, and of the promises you have made here on this day.” The minister motioned a young and nervous Phillip Hamilton to come next to him. He was holding a small cushion where your rings were placed.
“Will each of you please repeat after me as you place the ring on your loved one’s hand?”
Both of you nodded enthusiastically, shooting a bright smile at a now happy Phillip who bounced back to his parents.
“I, Y/N, give you Thomas this ring as a symbol of my love and commitment. With this ring, I thee wed.” You repeated, trying as hard as you can to keep your tears at bay as you slid the ring on Thomas’ finger.
“I, Thomas, give you Y/N this ring as a symbol of my love and commitment. With this ring, I thee wed.” He said smoothly, but his eyes definitely showed that he was nervous.
You both took a in a breath.
“By the power vested in me, by the Church and by the state of Virginia, I pronounce you, Y/N and Thomas as wife and husband, lawfully wedded before God. Thomas, you may now kiss the bride, forever sealing your union.”
“You don’t have to tell me twice.” Thomas said. He pulled you close and crashed your lips together. Everyone in the crowd was practically roaring, but all you could focus on was Thomas’ smile against your lips. You had kissed many times before, but this one was different. This one had so much more meaning.
You pulled back, fixing the flower crown on top of your head with a loving smile. Thomas looked back at you, and you could see all the love this man held in just his eyes. It made every single sacrifice you made for him worth it.
A year later, you were high on life. Culture here, with Thomas, was much more different than underwater back home. Food was always so flavorful and people were always so hospitable. It took you no time to get accustomed to their society.
You didn’t even think much of who you were. You tried your best to repress that part of you, for Thomas’ sake, but it got harder by the second.
He didn’t ask much about your family, seeing as you never talk about them and they weren’t even in the wedding. He didn’t ask about how you don’t like swimming pools or beaches. He was always so patient with you, and it hurt to have to lie to him over and over again. You started missing the water, your other half.
And that’s why on one particularly cold night, you were standing near the beach in front of your beach house. Jefferson was fast asleep in the living room, which you could see from where you were standing. The waves were gentle and calm, crashing with the shore with a relaxing sound.
You stood there for what felt like hours. You knew it would be easy to switch back to your legs, but would you get too attached to it? Will you have to leave Thomas?
You didn’t want to think of that, of him, right now. All you wanted was to dive deep into the water and stay there, but he held you back. More specifically, your love for him did.
Before you could convince yourself against it, you started walking to the water. Your feet started sinking into the surprisingly warm ocean, and you sighed in content. You took off the shirt you were wearing, a white, sheer, lace top that Thomas had given to you as a gift, and now were left with a simple white bralette. You placed them in a rock close to the shore, and made sure to take off the necklace you were wearing. The beach was completely empty, considering it was 2 in the morning on a weekday, which gave you a lot more confidence in doing this.
You kept walking until you were waist deep, the soft waves rocking your body ever so slightly. You couldn’t hold in your smile as you dived head first into the water, swimming forwards as fast as you could.
The change was always painless and quick. By the time you swam up, you could see your orange and red scales shining underwater, reflecting the moonlight.
You let out a hearty laugh, overcome with excitement and emotion as you splashed around with your tail. You swam and swam until your heart was filled with happiness and your body was about to give out form exhaustion.
You decided to take a break in the rock where you had placed your shirt and necklace. You pulled yourself up with your hands and laid down, the end of your tail still in the water. You wore a soft smile as you looked up at the night’s sky, littered with stars.
You were starting to doze off into sleep when a loud gasp woke you up. You sat up straight and looked back at a wide eyed, open mouthed Thomas Jefferson. You looked down at your tail, still present and glowing under the moonlight. Damn you for being so reckless, you went and ruined everything.
You closed your eyes, took in a shaky breath, and looked back at Jefferson anxiously. You didn’t know what to say, how to explain yourself or pretty much speak, at this point. You wanted him to react, but he just stood there, motionless, staring from your tail back to you.
After what felt like a century, he walked closer to you. His hand ghosted over the beginning of your tail, almost scared to touch it.
“Go ahead, I don’t mind.” You assured him quietly, not completely sure if that was what he wanted to do.
He touched the end of your hips, where a few stray scales lay. He slid his hand lower, feeling every scale rise and fall with his touch. He still hasn’t said anything, but it must be a good sign that he hasn’t run away screaming.
“So, you’re…” He trailed off, his hand still feeling your tail.
“Yes.” You responded simply.
You thought you were imagining it at first, but Thomas’ lips curled up at the ends.
“This is… wow.” He said in total astonishment.
You hopped slightly to the side to make room for him, and patted the spot next to you. He hesitated at first, but sat down next to you.
“Are you mad?” You felt yourself asking, still terrified of what he might do.
“Are you kidding? This is so cool. My wife is a mermaid, of all things.” He said, smiling brightly. You didn’t even realize your entire body was tense until every muscle started to relax.
“Thank God.” You let out a breathy laugh.
“Though, could I ask you a few things? I’m still tryna wrap my head around it.” His southern accent peeked into his words.
“Anything, really.” You said, taking his hand in yours.
“Why didn’t you tell me before?”
“Well, it wasn’t exactly something easy to say. ‘Hey, Thomas. I made you breakfast. Also, I’m a mermaid’,” you said, which made him laugh.
“Okay, point taken.” He said, rubbing his chin. “Like, how does the tail thing work? Is it like in Little Mermaid where you had to sacrifice something to an evil villain?” He asked, rubbing his hands over your scales again.
You laughed, shaking your head. “I once saved an elderly lady from drowning. She asked me if there was anything I wanted in the world, and I told her that all I’ve ever wanted was to be able to walk among humans. She gave me this stone.” you reached next to you where the necklace laid. You opened the locket to reveal a small stone, similar to opal, and placed it on Thomas’ hand. “She said it would help me with what I wanted, as a gratitude for saving her life, just as long as I was wearing it and wasn’t getting wet.” You said, scanning Thomas’ face for any indication of how he was taking in the story.
He studied the stone curiously, then looked back at you with a soft smile.
“I’m literally speechless.” Thomas whispered.
“Finally, we should call Hamilton. He’ll be exceptionally pleased.” You said with a smirk. Thomas just laughed in response.
“I’m guessing Y/N isn’t your real name, huh?” he said after a moment of silence. You sighed.
“Um, no. My real name is Thalassa, after the primordial goddess of the sea. I go by Y/N because I wanted to leave my past behind me, not to mention that it’s a pretty uncommon name around these parts.” You said, resting your head on his shoulders with a light laugh. He kissed the top of your head, resting his own head over yours.
“Do you ever think about going back?” His voice got quieter, like he was afraid of the answer. You squeezed his hand reassuringly.
“I won’t deny that it has crossed my mind, but one look from you and any trace of thought on the matter seems to disappear.” You said, kissing the back of his hand and holding it to your chest. “I love you, and I love being Y/N Jefferson.”
He tried to hide the growing smile and red tint in his cheeks, but you saw it as clear as day. You laughed softly and kissed his cheek.
“I can assure you that I’m not leaving anytime soon.” You said, cupping his cheek, subtly making him look at you.
He smiled, and you both sat there for a while in comfortable silence.
“Weirdly enough, I love you even more now.” Thomas said suddenly, which made you bend over in laughter.
“I love you so much, Thomas. Thank you for not sending the Catholic Church to hunt me down.” You said, kissing his cheek once more.

With This Ring (Post 67) 12-17-14
The subject for the bereavement meeting last Thursday was dating.  I didn’t know what the subject was going to be beforehand or I probably would have avoided the meeting altogether.  Dating is an uncomfortable subject for me along with many widows and widowers.  It is plaguing to consider beginning a new relationship because, by necessity, that requires giving up something or possibly everything from the previous love. Usually a sign that someone is ready to date again is that they remove their wedding ring.  I still wear mine, but not as a means of grasping the past, more as a reminder of the discipline necessary to make it to heaven.
Tumblr media
I understand that my wedding vows were only until death and that in heaven people are not given in matrimony.  Marriage serves an earthly purpose and won’t be necessary in heaven.  Undoubtedly, Pam and I will remain close friends if I make it to heaven, but our closest relationship will be to God. That is as it should be.  I wear my ring with the understanding that without my marriage I most certainly would not be walking a path that may someday lead me to heaven.  My vocation as a husband and my conversion to the Catholic Church allowed Jesus to steer me clear of some entanglements of selfishness for a time.  My ring serves as a reminder that the tentacles of this world still exist and will readily entrap me should my discipline lapse.
The thin width of my wedding band replaced my chunky academy ring when I accepted the standards of conduct which accompany being a married man.  Once wed, theoretically, my immaturity, my selfishness, my drunkenness and my licentiousness should have been out the window.  As a husband and father, I owed good behavior to my family.  While I have not always met the required standard, after I became Catholic, the confession booth has always been available.  The reminder of my ring serves to keep me close to the straight and narrow path even when I fail to pay attention to my goal and return to my mean old self.
I did remove my ring a couple of times during my 24 years of matrimony.  Once I took it off to attend a mandatory cotillion in a port Spain.  I disagreed with going and thought it was inappropriate for the USN to send married officers in their twenties to attend a function for high school girls.  As I remember it turned out to be pretty harmless, I spent the evening talking with a married Spanish officer discussing something at the punch bowl. Perhaps our uniforms were decorative. I regretted taking my ring off immediately and made up my mind not to do so again.
I took my ring off again about ten years later for safety reasons.  Company policy prohibited employees from wearing any jewelry near machinery in the forging operation I supervised for Nucor Steel.  Wearing any kind of jewelry around heavy equipment can be hazardous, but I had always chosen to wear my wedding ring in the engineering spaces on the Dahlgren.  If I had broken my finger on the ship, there was the possibility that my ring could have required an amputation.  The potential loss of a finger didn’t really concern me, and the Navy had no rule against my wearing the ring.  When my civilian employer enacted the prohibition, though, I complied.  It is very hard for supervisors to enforce rules that they refuse to follow themselves.
Within one or two shifts of removing my ring, it slipped out of my pocket and I never found it again. Perhaps some unseen hobbit happened upon it.  Pam was very understanding about my bone-headed mistake; she picked out a replacement immediately, which I donned and removed very infrequently thereafter.   I took to wearing gloves whenever I was working on the forge or near the annealing and hardening furnaces.  My new ring seems to have become almost a part of my body.  Habitually, I shimmy it back and forth on my finger to determine whether it is loose enough so that I can afford to have dessert with dinner.
Unless I marry again, I don’t plan to take it off.  The standard of conduct that is appropriate for a married man also works well for a chaste widower who is hoping one day to make it to heaven.  The ring serves as a helpful reminder.  Also, I remember from my navy days that there were men who used to remove their wedding rings to go on the prowl.  I didn’t prowl as a single man and don’t plan to do any of that now. I find the alley cat stuff to be pretty distasteful and certainly not consistent with behavior expected of any dad regardless of marital status.
I imagine that I could safely remove my ring and not instantly be vortexed into Hooters to bother all the waitresses, but the ring is comfortable to wear and provides a connection to my former vocation, which I miss very much.  It is odd and unexpected things that I think about when I consider my ring.  I remember as a young husband in Virginia Beach; I didn’t always care for what Pam watched on television at night.  She was also very concerned with my grooming so I would lie on our couch with my head in her lap, reading a book while she watched her show and used tweezers to pluck ingrown hairs out of my face.  There was an odd intimacy to the activity that I missed as we fell out of the habit over the years.  I always regretted not having my beard tweezed but I never told Pam what I missed. Keeping silent was a bad mistake that I consider as I fiddle my ring about on my finger.  Live and learn.
I haven’t felt God’s call to resume my husbandly vocation.  I’m sure He knows my qualifications and will summon me from the bull pen if someone needs my services.  If husbanding is a calling, I reason, I expect to be called if I am meant to resume my previous occupation … or not.  If I do end up getting married again, it will be to a very Catholic woman, and my current ring will come off my finger at that point.  Abby has a place for it on the gold necklace on which she has strung Pam’s wedding band and engagement ring.  Ultimately, the ring will reside there one day together with its mates, regardless of God’s plan for my temporal future.
For right now, Nick’s health is our priority.  His surgery went well and he is now recovering in preparation for round two. Thank you all for your prayers.

The Captivating Elegance of Yellow Sapphire Engagement Rings
While white diamonds are classy and stunning, if you’re looking for sapphire jewelry in Virginia Beach that is fancy, vibrant, and timeless, yellow sapphires are the ideal choice.
Yellow sapphires are tough, durable, and quite affordable. They are great for couples on a budget. These gemstones come in shades from pastel yellow to intense yellow and easily stand out in any room.
Reasons to choose yellow sapphires.
These gemstones rate a nine on the Mohs scale, making them the second hardest gemstone after a diamond and great for daily wear so that you don’t need to worry about your gemstone getting chipped or broken.
If cared for properly, your sapphire can easily last you a lifetime and even be passed on as an heirloom piece for years.
Wrapping Up While many jewelers sell yellow sapphires, if you want a more intense shade, you will need to do your research and look for a professional that can offer you a range of high-end pieces at an affordable cost.

Anna Maria vacations are far more affordable than a European cruise, a big city extravaganza, or a week in the Caribbean. At the same time, visitors can enjoy pristine, white sand beaches, unique shops and restaurants, and world class entertainment, all without spending a bundle. The easy access and flight discounts to Florida make it an affordable holiday any time of year.
For starters, it could be quite hassle-free on your part if you shop for wedding or Bridesmaids Dresses Brisbane online. In connection to that, internet shopping saves considerable time especially for partners who are running out of time in their wedding preparation.
That way, you are able to see the actual lingerie and feel the fabric plus you get to fit them on to see if this is the right piece for you.- If you are not comfortable buying a sexy lingerie from stores, what you can do buy it online. This is risky though because you don’t get to fit the actual item so you are 70 to 80% unsure if this will fit you perfectly.

Michael,
I hope youre doing well, my love. The next few days without talking to you at all is gonna be a little rough, so im trying to ready myself, now. I already miss you like crazy. Today at work while it was slow, i wrote myself a to-do list and started out an " 8 month plan" sheet thingy. Im trying to plan out getting my car, money, and moving things that i need to do before you get home. I think having it on paper will make it easier to get together and have completely done. I cant wait to have a car so im not stuck at home or at work all the time. It doesnt help that all i want when im alone is you. Im trying to do a lot of things better, right now. I want to go to sleep at decent times, im keeping my room cleaner and eat, at the very least, healthier. I think i told you i fucking hate yogurt, but Oui is actually fucking delicious 😂🙏🏼❤️. Im also trying to drink coffee instead of soda, and more water like you constantly remind me to do 😉. Its harder to keep my room clean, especially because while Bees aunt is in town in November, i have to move most of it out so she can have my room 🙄(not happy about it- i mean Bee even said it; i pay for this space). Aside from having very little space, i have to undo it all later. I just feel like im wasting my time lol. Work was annoying- Steven is a dick, always. Hunter said he looks like a teeny tiny disney villian.. maybe a mix between lord farquat and iago, if iago was a human and not a parrot. 😂 My favorite regular, Charlie, slipped me $10 and said "i think i found this outside by your car, you must have dropped it" and winked at me. Such a sweet old man 😂 i snorted when he said "your car". When Bee and I went to the reptile show yesterday, i found a booth selling all kinds of cool jewelry. The necklace is the one i got for myself; theyre forget-me-nots 🖤. I thought itd be something nice to wear when i dress up a little more and wish that you were coming out with me. I cant wait to show it to you in person, and wear it on nice nights out with you 😘. I really hope youre okay, and safe, and at least trying to enjoy yourself a little. Im sure its much different to be in the middle of the ocean... nothing in view for miles. I wonder what that looks like- im sure its profoundly beautiful (minus the circumstances, of course). I sent your mom pictures yesterday of me/me and you to hang up in your rack. I included a profile of me, on my beach in Virginia, looking over the water and smoking. Im sure theres nothing that can make you feel much closer to me right now, but i hope that it will remind you that im just on the other side of it... smoking a cigarette and daydreaming about you coming back to me. I love you to the moon and back, my darling. I wear my ring and my necklace every single day. (Not to mention your flannel.. which i probably should wash 😂😂❤️) I cant wait to hear your voice, again.
