I'm guessing it was '88 or '89 but this pile of boards is burned in my memory. My buddy John and I drug them a post hole digger and hand tools about half a mile into the Elkhorn river bottom that his family owns and built a platform stand. When I was a kid, I remember seeing old boards like this and wondering how old they were.... Now I know. 'Bout 30 years...
