So I went to a super local and small convention this weekend, and by local I mean it was literally a 10 minute drive and by small I mean we were able to get away with walking around with no badge, so it basically cost us nothing to go which is great cause we have nothing to spend.

I had spent the week leading up to the con working endlessly on a cosplay commission for a friend which I not only managed to finish super late thursday night, but he actually really liked it which is astonishing because I had absolutely no clue what I was doing like usual.

But, friday I went as Komachi, saturday I was Sanae, and sunday I was lazy and went as myself. Oh, and I was still quite sick all weekend and still am so I told everyone I had ebola and I'm proud of how literally no one was even slightly concerned. 

Although it was a small con and vastly different from a larger con like Katsu or Ota, the weekend was pretty fun and we desperately needed the break from life. Plus we made some new friends! And I saw a surprising amount of RWBY cosplayers there (including a fabulous Yang) which just makes me more determined to cosplay Pyrrha Nikos. Unfortunately though, it'll cost me at least $350 to be the Goddess, so it will probably be an extremely long time until that happens...

Had a fantastic weekend though, it's a shame it'll be my last for quite a while until this Hell situation we're in decides to let up...

Just made the reservation for my hotel for Nebraskon. So far it's only me and one other friend in the room.... But we have a King suite with a whirlpool tub and a fireplace and two bathrooms and I'm so super excited! Like we each have a bathroom! How cool is that?!?!?!
