~18/12/2022~ Originally the plan was for me to go with my mum to spend the day helping my grandma with part 2 of Christmas present wrapping but had to cancel as my Pom was too unwell to drive us. Went out for a walk in the rain round Littlehampton, which wasn’t all that pleasant. Then wrote some Christmas cards. Had dinner, packed, then the mothership drove me to the station to get the train home - we’ll just about - the mothership had a very freaky moment where she started to turn to drive down the train tracks at a level crossing, thinking it was the entrance to the station carpark :o - really freaked us out - the mothership doesn’t have very good night vision because of MS and her generally very poor eye sight but didn’t realise it had got that bad :/ - we told my Pom about it and he is worried about her. Direct train was cancelled so had to get a train to Brighton and change, which turned out to be even more of a hassle than it needed to be as trains were delayed for reasons unspecified (think they’ve run out of excuses at this point!). L was there to pick me up from the station. Managed to make it home before Ocado order arrived. Had a bath.
