#talkin#im the only guy at my work and the 2nd youngerst by almost 30 years#which in a fabric store means i get asked at least once a day if i can actually sew#nd usually around once a week told by a customer that she doesnt want my help nd i should get someone who actually knows what theyre doing#ive been sewing for almost 18 yrs...#i miss the record store in that regard... getting to work with my bros who are in my age group more or less#and not having customers assume i know absolutely nothing about the product i sell#i was a king there... its amazing how much stock people put in the opinion of a record store clerk#but my current job literally wont even take your resume unless you know how to sew & read a pattern
