fyi i usually avoid spoilers like the plague, but i had seen this one already, so i'll say that i believe katherine marie whistler is not going to enjoy this plot point one fucking bit. especially not as it's happening in the fucking MIDDLE of long distance?!?!?!? yeah no.

we've seen scary-in-interrogation whistler and mean-at-work-whistler and i simply hope to god we get a thorough dose of keep-my-wife's-name-out-of-your-fucking-mouth whistler because i think it would add years to our gay little lives.

I stayed up passed my bedtime for this but AAAAHHHHH!!!! KACY CONTENT! Yes! It was good, it was good. Awkward, hot, and useless, which sums up the pair quite nicely. I still say the hug was a bit out of place at the beginning but they got there eventually. Also Kate with the frying pan is giving me Rapunzel vibes, hilarious.

[initial reactions] NCIS Hawai'i 2x13 - Misplaced Targets

I think this might be my favorite episode in season 2. It has the perfect format between the case and character dynamics that really work.

I also love how much we're seeing family outside of the NCIS team. I know NCIS LA and NOLA have that too but there's just something about how it's done in Hawai'i that's more to my flavor.

Also, Lucy is back with some Agent Afloat cases and I've always liked Agent Afloat stuff!

I love how complicated Kai's story was but also, in the end, it was very simple. It didn't make it less hard though and I am glad they showed that.

(For all the good stuff about NCIS Hawai'i though, I'm still drily aware that there should've been a lawyer present in that interrogation scene.)

It felt good to have the team together but also felt even better when we finally got Ernie and Jesse talking, and why exactly it bothers Ernie that his ex moved on and he hasn't.

I also loved that Jane talked to Kai and talked to him both as a boss and a friend. But also that Jane was written as the boss. And she's not joining and take downs just because they needed an extra person in the field.

It is such a good show.
