argh can i be a hater about the minecraft movie actually…….
#ik everyone says this but i do wish it took place within the context of minecraft similar to how mcsm did it#<- most of the fun is looking at how minecraft mechanics are adapted into the worldbuilding#i think having it be like ‘real person wakes up in minecraft’ limits that a bit#arggh its difficult because like#i feel like they 100% wanted to do something different from what mcsm did with the concept#which is understandable#but also is this really the best direction they couldve gone?#i dunnooo………….. =_=#<- the one thing i will stand on though is that it really shouldve been animated . i know that everyone says this but its true! it has the u#ncanniness of those Minecraft in Real Life videos that were popular a few years ago#which again makes me go like ‘is this really the best direction they couldve gone? surely not right???’#txt#anyways that concludes me being a bit of a hater LOL#lets hope that its just terrible marketing on the companys part and the movie is actually peak
